*squinty eyes* are they trying to kill this show by having it start on time for the second week in a row? Who expects that!!

Anyway, keep all discussion of tonight's finale, who won, who lost, who got lost, who you wish got lost, on this thread until the West Coast gets to see it for themselves.

In case we have a lot of people peeking in, no sig pics/graphics so the thresd will load quickly.

Brian and Erica never won a single leg.
Sam and Dan butted heads, but made bold moves.
Meghan and Chayne won lots of legs but had their troubles.

But, of course, the first flight out to Vegas is at 6:40 so there's your bunching point. Wish they'd just reward the teams that finish the leg so much further ahead of the last place team instead of bunching them every.single.time.

Erika does it in a great time - a faster pace than Cheyne, it seemed.

Now they're off to the Mirage. Cheyne is about halfway down now while Sam is still getting hooked up at the top. Cheyne looks like he's unconscious or something from the way he's bouncing around. Now Sam is running down a la Tom Cruise.

Cheyne reminded me of a kitten being carried around by the neck. He was just hanging as he was lowered down the building.

I kept wondering what the people staying in the hotel thought as people were lowered down past their windows.

It started at 8:20 here on the East coast.

Amazing Grace is a strange song for a wedding so I'm guessing it was just because of the Amazing Race.

Amazing Grace was played at my wedding, FWIW. Nobody thought it was a strange song - and this was long before TAR first aired.

I liked Meghan and Cheyne so hurray for them, they raced well all the way through so they deserved the win. I'm also glad that the brothers didn't win because the yelling was driving me crazy. Ericka can go home and get some Prozac, although I did like her and Brian.

Meghan and Cheyne were the best racers (even if they didn't know Monaco!). Does anyone know if they're the winners with most 1st place finishes? They dominated this season.
