"TAR 16 Spoilers"

Posted by Snidget on 11-28-09 at 07:32 PM
Well some have started to maybe be leaking out so I figured we needed a thread for any spoilers that come out now.

Apparently one team has been spoiled and they are people we have seen before.

http://twitpic.com/rcbds

Jeff And Jordan from BB11 who are reported to be dating. http://hollywoodinsider.ew.com/2009/10/23/big-brother-11s-jeff-and-jordan-we-are-dating/ has that they are interested in TAR.

It only took 7 seasons of BB and 11 seasons of TAR to remove the stink of Allison and her boyfriend off of the airwaves....... especially the First to Worst that they did in 2 legs.........

*covers eyes*

AyaK's reaction on finding out may be one for the record books, but I'm not sure I want to be the official witness.

Total Team IQ: 2.

Hmmmm, I didn't think about the Ayak reaction

*puts in ear plugs*

Can someone let me know when the screaming stops?

Those two barely found their way around the house. How are they going to make it around the world?

Hoax? You are cute when you have hope.

That sounds suspiciously familiar.

... that out of 300+ million people in the US, the TAR casting crew has to recycle previous reality TV contestants. I've never watched Big Brother, so I have no idea who either of these people are-- do they have really great personalities or something? Alison and Donny were a disaster on TAR4, so on principle I'm not optimistic.

Um, is dumb a personality?

Imagine Jordan at the Kafka roadblock. Not only is she likely incapable of spelling a five-letter word, but we know she can't tell time. How would she ever figure out when the four-hour penalty was up?

OMG if this is true, I am gong to bash my head against the wall!

Caitlin Upton is the infamous Miss TeenUSA contestant with the rambling non-answer to why a fifth of Americans couldn't find the U.S.A. on a map. Did TAR hire Survivor's casting person?

That's BB's Erika, isn't it? If so, wouldn't surprise me......

It could have been worse.

It could have been Carrie Prejean.

...on the other hand, under current 'birther' beliefs, her leaving the country long enough for the Race would make her ineligible for office...

But can she find the course on a map?

Yeah, it could've been worse - it could've been Jessie & Natalie from the same season! Jessie -- meh. Natalie -- UGH!

But then Jims could institute a new Casino bonus game: Guess How Many Countries It's Been Since Natalie's Last Shower.

And a bonus for which episode production can't take it any more and instead of mud/bog based tasks they suddenly all involve getting drenched with soapy water.

thank goodness smell-o-vision never really caught on.

If they're going to stunt-cast unusually pretty girls, they ought to be able to do better than Caitlin Upton.

Carrie Prejean would make the grade. *waves to Estee*

Carrie Prejean would make the grade.

I didn't know you liked hideous.

I meant "unusually pretty on the outside".

Carrie Prejean reminds me of a gag Christmas gift I gave to my mother years ago. It was this horrible armchair quarterback thing, given as a family inside joke, but my wife did an outstanding job of wrapping the present. The box, paper, bows, etc., were beautiful. The present inside the box? Not so much.

I am *so* hoping for a season where all of the clues are "find this place on a map to get to your next clue."

She'll never survive.

Puerto Varas, Chile (12/2, Pit Stop in vicinity)

Bariloche, Argentina (12/7? Next jump may have been to Germany)

Singapore (12/20? Bugis Street production sighting (no contestants), along with the Singapore Flyer -- world's largest Ferris wheel. Ice cream vendor holding clue?)

Uh oh! I'm starting to worry. We've got Jordan Lloyd and Caitlin Upton, two notorious dim bulbs. One from SC and the other close to SC ...

They're going to Argentina (to hike the Appalachian Trail?). ...

Now all we need is Rep. Joe "You Lie" Wilson racing too, and we South Carolinians can stand up and proudly wave our Confederate flags as we cheer on our hometown heroes.

...to the finish line as active contestants: according to Hamsterwatch, they were spotted and photographed in Mexico around the 17th of December -- a point when we know other Racers had moved on.

http://www.twitpic.com/ttwxd

This may not be the most reliable picture: all we need are Racers in a Spanish-speaking country as a group with JeJo separated from the pack, and wham: instant non-spoiler. But in the event that it's accurate, this would give us two things: the very approximate location of Elimination Station and the knowledge that they went out too early to serve as a decoy team.

I'm going to hold off on the sigh of relief until we get confirmation. But for now, there's faint hope.

Valparaíso, Chile
France (somewhere)
Liverpool, United Kingdom
Seychelles (somewhere)

Walking on a laundry line cable 120 feet above the ground for something over a hundred yards. (Feet on one cable, hands on another, moving sideways. Presumably safety harnesses get involved somewhere.)

Jordan's probably not doing it.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The first six teams eliminated were sent there (leaving us with a Final Three and two decoy pairs). Put it together with the Jeff & Jordan sighting, and this seems to put them out early enough to keep us from seriously worrying about the double-win.

I can pretty safely say that the photo you linked to above is the same area of PV where the Elimination Station is. They are both a neighborhood I know well, south of the river in the old part of town.

I may have stayed in a hotel just up the street on the right of that photo of J & J some years ago.

Your knowledge and experience, they comfort me.

So let's call it: Jeffoon and Jordumb aren't winning this race, and our suffering is now officially limited to the next few episodes -- maximum. It's just a matter of waiting it out...
