4 hour 5 minutes difference between 1st and 5th.

Brian/Erika and father/son miss the plane to Stockholm

Flight time and Big easy fall in 3rd when they miss the train out of the airport. Sam/Dan + meghan and Cheyne work together.

Flight time doesn,t do honor to his name by being afraid during the free fall!

Father and son fall in last place when they miss the train to Stockholm.

2nd Segment.

Globe-Trotters catch up at the blow-up detour where they have to build a bunker and then explode dynamite to reveal a metal box.
Sam/Dan 1st
GT 2nd
Meghan/Cheyne 3rd

All 3 teams on the way to find a needle in a bale of hay. I don't think it will live up to the first time. It never does.

Brian/Erika still driving but getting close to detour.
Gary/Matt lost in Stockholm

3rd segment:

Big Easy finds flag: GT first to finish.
Sam frustrated and Meghan is in tears as the other 2 teams arrive.

They really haven't learned that the last teams get the advantage of fewer bales to go through. Each team should have had their dozen or so bales to pick from.

I can't believe Chayne stood there and let Megan have to do that! He had to have seen how hard that was going to be!
What a wimp!

Wait for his last wordd and ask yourself why Meghan doesn't say anything. Maybe she's considering her options!!!

Maybe he gets allergic smelling hay.

Other than that, yeah, no excuse. Wimp.

With all the yelling Dan did at Sam, I finally learned which brother is which!!

"Switchback"

And this time they put the pitstop at the farm so Phil won't have so far to go if someone ends up going for hours and hours.

This was an interesting place to put the NEL. They really had no idea if the last team would give up or keep trying to find the envelope. The pit stop was close enough they all knew if they were last or not. Alot of the teams might have given up when they knew they were last. At that point I think there would have been no NEL and they would have gone home. Luckily Father and Son kept trying and found it.

Warning: the last team to check in may never speak to each other again.

Good place for a NEL. This is still the hardest task I think we have ever seen.

Difficult and physically demanding, yes. Hard, no. It's just pure luck in the end.

The start times in the next episode are going to be very spread out, expect a bunching point.

This is just a sheer luck challenge. It's no surprise that the brothers got there first (by a lot over third and hours over fourth) and finished fourth, while Brian and Ericka got there fourth and finished third.

As for my guess ahead of time that this wouldn't be as physical of a leg: I was wrong. Between the sandbag filling and stacking and the hay unrolling, this was an incredibly physical challenge.

The next bunch probably has to be the travel. But my guess is that Gary and Matt are done after all that physical effort, regardless of any bunching.

My scepticism is kicking in, I'm not sure that it was originally an NEL, they couldn't really save Mika after the waterslide, and having team poker 24+ hours behind would have made this leg meaningless, so I wouldn't be surprised if they moved the non-elimination to this week.

Arrrr Cap'n!

1. Globetrotters, and the birthday boy gets a trip to Turks and Caicos, so far they are the only team to make it through the roadblock speaking to each other, the first two teams to get there are on the verge of murder, already.

2. Megan fakes out Cheyne and they are second so all is good.

3. Brian and Erica are third, he found his fast.

4. Sam and Dan, Dan knows he was a jerk and he just wants Sam to be OK.

5. Gary and Matt, It is a Non Elimination Leg. Will have a speed bump.

On the coming attractions - Did the Globetrotter physically pull Dan down? That's got to be a penalty.

Didn't look intentional when I did the preview on slo mo on the DVR.

HE was running right at the edge of the boardwalk/wooden walkway thing and it appears he may have slipped on the edge and gone down and just been close enough that he fell into him, rather than deliberately trying to tackle him and pull him down.

I dunno if that pulldown was intentional, but I think the producers are going for deja vu again.........

Didn't they do a mud-laden obstacle course a few seasons ago? I think they've revisited that place........
