*hides the knives*

Hopefully you'll get something to appease your anger.

I'd offer you an adult beverage, if that would help.

I think I need more than 1 adult beverage.....

Stupid Palau type opening twist where 1 of the 12 teams won't even get a ticket to Tokyo. The worse is that the opening credits thrown in the middle of the challenge gives out which team will be eliminated "before the starting line." Dumb.

Oh gosh that one accent is going to drive me nuts, and what is it with the Christians thinking God will run the race for them?

Mika and Kanaan should hire that taxi driver for the rest of the race! Then it's "I survived a Japanese game show"! Isn't that on ABC?

READ THE CLUE.

I think most of them got it by luck, not by noticing what they were looking for was ON THE CLUE.

All the teams come into the Los Angeles Basin via one of the side tunnels.......

Someone won't be leaving the starting area because the first challenge is right beyond where there bags are.....

Teams must find a license plate for the Shinigama area of Tokyo..... the symbols for that area are at the top of the clue.

Once they got the correct license plate, they must present it to Phil, who'll then give them a ticket on one of two flights to Tokyo, Japan.

Also, the Globetrotters team are going by their team names: Flight Time and Big Easy.......

About 5 or so teams have been released onto the worldwide race course, so far......

Two teams left, I hope muscled lawyer and the Nanny accent girl don't make it. They drive me nuts already.

Yeah, I can't stand the guy either. Phil looked like he wanted to smack him for yelling at him like that.

Yoga versus muscle Lawyer/Nanny......

And Yoga......loses

And yes.... the Globetrotters are Racing under their team's theme.

The Poker Girls are using a cover of being from a Children's charity agency in Los Angeles......

Teams are basically heading to Majide studios: A television studio by the base of the Tokyo Tower......

Oh, and Japanese dogs are ugly.

already eliminated from the race.

"Two flights"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 08:34 PM
First 6 on 12:45 flight
last 5 on the 1:15 flight

Don't know the landing times.

"RE: Two flights"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 08:37 PM
The 1:15 flight landed 30 minutes early, but not before the 12:45 teams arrived......

"RE: Eric/Lisa, Married Yoga Instructors"
Posted by frisky on 09-27-09 at 08:37 PM
It's okay. I would've hated them. They took the shame for the next team that gets booted, and "set them free." *eyeroll*

Sushi Roulette until they get the Wasabi Bomb. Eat it to get the next clue.

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by MsShel330 on 09-27-09 at 08:41 PM
The teams arrive in Tokyo and compete on a Japanese game show, Sushi Roulette. This is too funny.

"Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 08:43 PM
Japanese Game Show Roadblock: Sushi Roulette

The challenge starts once all 11 teams have arrived in the studio.

Eash spin of the wheel will have 9 sushi pieces on the wheel, and 2 "wasabi bombs" Those that got the wasabi bombs have 2 minutes to eat them. If they're successful, they complete the Roadblock and advance on......

Ron and Cheyenne got the bombs for Round 1.......both completed their bombs and got their clues!

Teams must now match a colored flag with those wearing that color visors in the game show's crowd and lead them through the town to.....

Konno Hachimaru shrine, the Pit Stop for the first leg of the Race!

Garrett and Justin got the 2nd round's Wasabi Bombs!

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by michel on 09-27-09 at 08:47 PM
Roadblock and bunching point at the same time. That's weird.

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 08:47 PM
Both Garrett and Justin survived their bombs and are off to the shrine!

Maria for the Poker Ladies is the only one who got a Wasabi Bomb in round 3, but....... she failed to complete in time!

Round 4: Maria gets a second chance it looks like..... but she hasn't recovered from the last one yet!

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 08:49 PM
Yep, it looked like she hadn't finished swallowing the first one even with the time for the spin.

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by MsShel330 on 09-27-09 at 08:45 PM
After the wasabi bomb eating, the team gets a colored flag and has to take 20 Japanese tourists wearing visors of the same color through the streets of Tokyo to a shrine.

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by michel on 09-27-09 at 08:49 PM
The line about Big Easy being like Godzilla going through the streets of tokyo was pretty good also.

I'm in my happy place.

I'm loving this episode too so far.

I just noticed that Lance looks like Frank Stallone.

"RE: *grin*"
Posted by Estee on 09-28-09 at 06:55 AM
And acts like every out-for-revenge any-Stallone character there's ever been -- plus about eight inches of height.

And minus those script-provided microseconds of self-control.

"Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 09:00 PM
Continued:

The 4 teams that have their crowds are trying to navigate Tokyo with limited success.......

Maria's second attempt at a Wasabi Bomb is a success! Poker Ladies are out of there!

Meghan and Cheyne are Team Number 1!

Round 5 had two successful Wasabi Bombs completed: Big Easy and Lance

Zev/Justin are Team #2!

Round 6 had one success, Round 7 was Gary vs. Justin. Gary was successful, but Justin failed!

"Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 09:04 PM
Dan of the Gay Brothers succeed in Round 9, leaving the studio in 10th place, and Justin and his team's group alone with the host!

2 teams on the Mat, 8 teams loose in Tokyo, 1 team at the Studio. Well over an hour to go...... I think Leg 2 will be starting tonight, unless there's a lot of in-town misadventures coming up..........

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by MsShel330 on 09-27-09 at 09:13 PM
Brian and Erika were the last to complete the sushi challenge but they got to the Pit Stop 6th.

"Poker players last to arrive"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 09:18 PM
But they don't have all their people so they get a 2 hour penalty and will have to do a speed bump as this is a non elimination at the end leg.

Maybe karma about lying about who you are finaly is catching up with some reality show, karma seems to be on vacation on BB and Survivor.

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 09:17 PM
Brian and Ericka, the last team out of the studio, got to the mat in 6th place

Poker Ladies are within range of the shrine, but there's a BIG problem: They've lost two of their crowd!

Gay Brothers are in 9th

Another team has lost someone, as well! However, she was found!

Mike and Canaan are team #10

Poker Ladies are lost in Tokyo looking for two members and are a Dead Team Walking!

However! This was a Non-Elimination Leg!

They got a 2-hour penalty for not checking in with all 20 members of their crowd, and will have to endure a Speed Bump as well!

Non-elimation leg so the Poker players are spared. I just hope that they found the two tourists that they lost.

Marcy/Ron 12:41am
Globetrotters 12:42am

Sam/Dan 12:54am
Mika/Canaan 1:03am

It seems that the first flight to Vietnam won't be leaving until 10:30am, so we should have a major bunch point...... except that a lot of teams booked at the hotel, and those that went straight to the airport are hosed......... but Brian/Ericka managed to get those teams all on the same flight......

The roads in Vietnam are flooded, and the Globetrotters have uncovered the Poker Ladies true identies!

"Cover is blown."

Some one recognized them. I think it was the gay brothers overheard.

They are falling in love with the gay brothers because they are so good at reading people's tells, or something.

"Buses unbunch them."

They leave just over an hour apart.

"Bribing the bus"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 09:37 PM
each chipped in to get it to leave early, one of the teams gives this one guy a jacket.

first bus arrives, but the place is closed so they paid that money for nothing.

"Speed Bump"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 09:39 PM
Get ingredients and make a soup that the dock master approves of.

Everyone else off to a fruit farm to take nutrient mud to a tree until they cover the roots to the right depth.

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."
Posted by MsShel330 on 09-27-09 at 09:40 PM
The boat place was closed when the teams arrived so there was another bunching point.

After the place opened, the poker players were hit with the speed bump which is making Pho, a Vietnamese soup, for the dock master. If he likes it, they get their clue.

After completing the Detour, Justin gets on the boat...... and promptly falls in the river.

They start moving the boat, only to realize that they don't have their clue! It probably fell into the river and sunk out of sight!

"Ducky Road Block"

Ducks Ducks Ducks.

Lead a flock of ducks across the bridge and back again. If they don't finish in 10 minutes then they go to the end of the line to try again.

"Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 09:52 PM
Duck herding: 10 minute time limit, only a few can do it at a time..........

If you fail to her them across a bridge and then back into their pen in the time limit, you have to go to the back of the line!

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 09-27-09 at 09:56 PM
Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack.

And the renegade ducks go back over the bridge again.

One of the poker chicks owned ducks???

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 09:56 PM
Gay brothers are done first, and are heading to the Pit Stop, which is on a boat by a marketplace that is within walking distance........

Father/Son are done 2nd.

We've already have had 3 teams have time expire on them........

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by vince3 on 09-27-09 at 10:02 PM
Globetrotters are 3rd out, and intense musle lawyer dude is in 4th.....

Gay brothers are lost in the marketplace, but get directions.....

Gary/Matt are Team #1, and each win a kayak.
Gay Brothers are 2nd, and Globetrotters are 3rd.
Intense lawyer dude is 4th.

Zev/Justin leave the Roadblock 5th, and Poker Ladies leave 6th. Meghan/Cheyne leave 7th, and Mika/Canaan leave 8th......

Marcy/Ron left the Roadblock in 9th.

5 teams in the marketplace, 2 remain at the Roadblock, on their 3rd attempt at herding ducks, at least.........

Zev/Justin finish the leg in 5th.
Meghan/Cheyne finish the leg in 6th
Poker Ladies are in 7th.
Mika/Canaan are in 8th
Marcy/Ron are in 9th

Brian/Ericka and Garrett/Jessica are still at the Roadblock!

"RE: TAR15 Episode #1 ECST."

Both teams complete the Roadblock at about the same time.

10th place goes to...... Brian/Ericka!

Garrett/Jessica are the last team to arrive and are eliminated from The Amazing Race 15.
