Hmm, I think Michel needs to either win the HOH or hope that Jbug does. If Corvis wins, Michel is in trouble, since Michel turned on Corvis and Zazzy.

Edited to add: I just received word from Zazzy (currently in Sequesterville) that she isn't the only one Michel victimized. Apparently Dear Abby, Suzzee, and Krismissus have also been victims -- and all have been female. Jbug should definitely win the HOH competition if that's the case!

Edited to further add: Michel just informed me that Wayne (a guy) was also his victim. Anyway, Michel would probably make a good goat to take to the Final 2 -- he's betrayed everyone on the jury and at least one person off!

It's so quiet in here, I stumbled off to see what was going on elsewhere....
and yep, sure enough, I find hamsters hanging out in some place called BBRAT7 House.

And? low & behold Zazzy won the game over there!

Now tell me how she had time for them when she was so obviously busy over here!
i realize this is the active Hamster only portion of the thread. & since Zazzy is now in sequesterville, she can't reply.
Oh well, congrats on your game 'over there' Zazzy

"Finale Week HoH Competition: HamsterLympics"
Posted by Zenbot on 09-16-11 at 11:01 PM
LAST EDITED ON 09-17-11 AT 01:06 AM (EST)

Greetings, you final three hamsters! Congratulations on making it this far. You each deserve a medal for your accomplishments and we'll get to that very soon. But first we need to determine who the next and final Head of Household will be. So...

We now officially open the HamsterLympics competition! You will be running, spinning, swimming, leaping and jumping in all kinds of events.

But are you ready? It's no longer time to eat, drink and be merry. You've got to get back in shape for this competition! So you will get to decide how you want to do your HamsterLympic training before you compete.

Here are the HamsterLympic events and your training options.

An example of an entry you might send to the Zenbot is:

I want to train:

4 training levels for Agility
3 training levels for Leaping
2 training levels for Speed
1 training level for Swimming
No training for Stamina

Total: 10 training levels

I am an Event Master in High Jump.

... or something like this:

I want to train:

3 training levels for Stamina
3 training levels for Speed
2 training levels for Swimming
1 training level for Leaping
1 training level for Agility

Total: 10 training levels

I am an Event Master in Distance Running.

Have fun training, hamsters! Don't eat too much while you're at it!

as apparently Corvis & Michel are too manly to do so...
I'm lost ---again.

Is the "best time/distance" determined by a random draw of some kind?
Or am I supposed to figure out some strategy with those number up there that will beat the others?

(the Chenbot does ask if everyone understand the rules; so I figure you, Zenbot, imply that question to us.)

If you use the 2 examples you gave above, is there something random that causes one to beat the other?
If not, can you explain to us how one example above is better than the other?

D'Abby Special

Are there little Bots at home who do a practice run on these challenges for you - sorta like production does for Survivor challenges?

This is one of those comps where there is no "right" answer (that I know of), although some training strategies may have a better chance of winning one or more events than other training strategies. It also partly depends on how the others also do their training strategies.

The standard time/distance will be random (like having a "good day" or "bad day" at that competition), but not by a very wide margin (for example, sprint running will be a fairly narrow range between 10.0 and 10.5 seconds). It's the training bonuses and the single event master that will largely determine how a hamster will do in an event (for example, 1 level of speed training will knock -0.4 seconds off that time, and being an event master will knock another -0.5 seconds off that time). So, if you drew 10.2 seconds (having about an average day) and subtract the -0.9 seconds for level 1 speed training along with event mastery, your final time would be 9.3 seconds, which is a pretty good time.

I'm sticking to simple facts here, posted for everyone's benefit, but I won't provide any suggestions or recommendations about training strategies, although I have several ideas I'd probably try out at if I were competing.

Good luck, everyone!

"HamsterLympics Results & Awards"
Posted by Zenbot on 09-18-11 at 10:40 PM

Greetings, one and all! The results of the HamsterLympics are in. And what an exciting round of games it turned out to be, all the way to the last event!

And here we go...

Sprint running: michel and Corvis turn out to be speed kings, training four weeks just to be quick. And, *crack* goes the start gun and suddenly it's over in close to 9 seconds.
1. 9.1 Corvis
2. 9.4 michel
3. 10.4 jbug

Distance running: michel and Corvis also put in a couple weeks of stamina training, while jbug spends four weeks to go the long haul. *Crack*, the start gun sounds again. It turns out to be anybody's race even in the final lap and...
1. 9:15 michel
2. 9:27 jbug
3. 9:32 Corvis

Swimming: Corvis comes in the swimming event master, so he apparently decided he could skip the training. Meanwhile, jbug invests four weeks into swimming training that could show who the real event master is. *Crack* goes the gun and into the water they go! It comes down to Corvis and jbug on the last lap and...
1. 1:32 jbug
2. 1:38 Corvis
3. 1:53 michel

It's one gold medal for each of the hamsters going into the next round of competitions!

High Jump: You can see michel and Corvis practicing their high leaps after four weeks of practice, and jbug too after two weeks of training. And here they go...
1. 4'11" michel
2. 4'9" Corvis
3. 4'7" jbug

Long Jump: Here's where speed and leaping count and the two speed kings are sure to rule...
1. 7'4" Corvis
2. 6'10" michel
3. 6'3" jbug

Wheel Gymnastics: Now it's jbug's turn to catch up in the medal count, with Corvis and michel both holding two golds. And jbug is the event master here. Will she succeed? And the judges' cards come up...
1. 7.6 jbug
2. 6.6 michel
3. 6.5 Corvis

Wow! All three competing hamsters have won two gold medals and it comes down to the last event, the triathlon!

It turns out michel is the event master for the triathlon, but jbug has four weeks of swimming training to help make up for it. And off they go, swimming, wheel cycling and running to the finish! And crossing the line...
1. 2:34:00 michel
2. 2:47:00 jbug
3. 3:00:00 Corvis

Congratulations, michel, you have won the HamsterLympics gold medal!

With both jbug and Corvis earning 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, jbug wins the HamsterLympics overall silver medal by virtue of her finish in the triathlon. Corvis earns the HamsterLympics overall bronze.

Now michel, as the last HoH, you must choose either of jbug or Corvis to join you in jury vote by tomorrow (Monday), 10:00, to be posted in this thread.

The jury will vote live on Tuesday night, starting at 10:00 sharp.

Have fun and get some rest, hamsters!

Yay! All that drinking made me numb to the pain of training. I want to thank my family, my coach, my agent, my bartender and the Great Hamster in the sky. This is for them. What the cage am I talking about? This is for me, all me!

I do want to thank my fellow competitors, you scared the cage out of me and that made me push myself harder. You all played a great game. Unfortunately, one of you will have to join our friends on the jury.

We can all have one last night in my HoH room and I will announce my choice early tomorrow evening.

"F3 Eviction"
Posted by michel on 09-19-11 at 06:04 PM
Hello fellow hamsters, jury, member of the audience and Zenbot.

This is the final eviction ceremony.

I first want to say that this game was a lot of fun and I enjoyed playing with you two. That being said, I have to make a decision and eliminate one of you two. Jbug has been loyal to me from the start and I told her that it would be great if the first two to enter the house would be the last two to leave.

Therefore, I have to evict Corvis.

Corvis, you played a great game, causing me many worries over the weeks. I know you could have won this game and I hope we can still be friends afterwards. This vote isn't personal, just part of a long term strategy.

((Hugs))

"My Case to the Jury"
Posted by michel on 09-19-11 at 06:45 PM
LAST EDITED ON 09-19-11 AT 07:54 PM (EST)

To be sitting here, facing the jury, I certainly didn’t play nice but the first thing I want to say is that I played to make this game as fun as possible for us. Those exchanges, the banter, all that was really meant to be fun and I hope we can continue to exchange on the board in a similarly friendly manner. My style of play is to be with everyone and, simultaneously, to be against everyone because that is the essence of the game: You need people with you to keep you safe but you need to get rid of them all to win. In BB and in Survivor, dividing the house or the tribe is stupid because a new HoH or a tribal swap can kill your game. You need a united group (that’s why I insisted on unanimous votes) but the game isn’t a team game. That’s where the deception comes in. Survivor China’s Todd (or Outback Tina for the old-timers) is the player that I emulated.

The first bond I made was with Jbug. I even offered her a F2 deal right away, thinking it would be a great thing if the first two people joining the game would be the last two standing. Maybe you will think it was luck that got us here but, believe me, it was a lot of hard work.

An offer was also made to Krissmiss and Zazzy, one based on “I won’t nominate you if you don’t nominate me and I’ll help keep you safe if you get nominated.”
But the biggest alliance I wanted to establish was with friends from the Survivor boards: Suzzee, Corvis and Dear Abby. Getting us 4 to work together seemed natural and could have been a good road to the end but that alliance never really gelled.

Wayne was the only one I didn’t approach, the only one I didn’t really know. The one thing I knew about Wayne was that he is a regular of the OT threads. My biggest concern from the start was an alliance of OT’ers, one in which I would have very little foothold.

With so many alliances, it was clear that I wouldn’t be playing for HoH in week 1 but I would want my allies to go for it. I’d have to keep my eyes open for any floaters in those alliances. What is a floater in my eyes? It’s the opposite of my game: Instead of being with everyone and against everyone, a floater is with no one and against no one. They depend on luck and the goodwill of others to get to the end and that’s definitely not how I play.

The game started and Jbug was the first HoH. A long time poster, I knew she had many friends in the OT but I had made first contact with her so what better way to test for an OT alliance. I suggested Wayne as the target under the guise that he was the last to join, not a really active player and since we wanted the first in the house to be the last standing, the last player in “should” be the first target. I even told her that, in order to avoid getting a target on her back, she should tell the other player nominated that they would be safe. I knew one of my allies was going up on the block so I had to show that I was working for their safety.

That went very well until Zazzy won POV and Suzzee became MIA. I had Jbug questioning “our” choice, wanting to know if I'd agree with something Abby suggested: backdooring Suzzee, Suzzee? Certainly not because she had always been loyal to me but I had to keep that to myself. I had to work on two fronts; getting Zazzy to sit on the veto, saying we could work more down the road while using that veto could get me nominated, and reassuring Jbug that she had made the right choice. I also had to reach out to Suzzee to get her more involved.

As soon as the veto ceremony ended, I had Dear Abby asking me to save Wayne. A member of my alliance wanting to save an apparent outsider meant one thing: Abby was with Wayne. When she insisted that we could still be in an alliance but vote our separate ways, I knew Abby was building something on the side and I had my next target. Briefly, the thought of keeping Wayne entered my mind. Afterall, if I won HoH, I’d need to have someone to put on the block and I had promised safety to everyone else! Still, it was easier to avoid being HoH than to count on winning those random games. Wayne had to go and Abby would have to follow.

After the first elimination, I had to work on Corvis and Suzzee to get them to agree to vote out Abby. Since Dear Abby told me she wanted to save Wayne and Jbug told me Abby wanted to backdoor Suzzee, I assumed Dear Abby had contacted Zazzy to use the veto in order to change the nominations. That would be more ammunition that I could use against Abby. However, it turned out I didn’t need to convince anyone: Corvis and Suzzee were all in to get Abby out and Corvis had already convinced Zazzy. Suddenly however, a new threat was emerging: Corvis had been too eager to get rid of Dear Abby so I wondered if it could be because Abby had suggested Zazzy as the next eviction. Was there a strong pair out there that didn’t include me? I’d have to take care of that threat.

I had another concern: No one had tried to win HoH! With the clues that we were given, the answer had to be around 200 so, with Suzzee’s guess in the 400s and my answer being under 100, I knew that the game was indeed loaded with floaters. I went out on a limb, criticizing my allies for dodging all responsibilities and hoping to ride my coat-tails saying I wouldn’t have it. Avoiding HoH had worked for Dr Will so it was my strategy. I had to do something to keep it my own!

With Suzzee as HoH, the plan to eliminate Abby was set in motion. Corvis informed me that Abby had offered herself as the pawn in order to eliminate one of the non-Survivor-alliance members, Zazzy, Krissmiss or Jbug. My first thought was that it was perfect but then Abby set up a chat room so, with Corvis and Suzzee, we talked about the game. After that, I wondered if I could go through with the plan and still backstab her. To my surprise, Corvis was still just as gung-ho on the plan to backstab Abby so I told myself that I had to put feelings aside and do as planned.

At that point, Jbug proved that she was a strong player by winning her second competition in a row. That showed me that not everyone was going to throw the comps. Naturally, Jbug agreed to keep the veto but she was puzzled when she received news from both Kriss and Abby that they knew they were safe, that Suzzee had told them both that they were the pawn. It was time to let Jbug know that the plan was for Abby to leave but then another concern appeared: Corvis argued that we should leave Jbug in the dark, let her vote against Kriss since she liked Abby.

That sounded an alarm in my head: Corvis was playing for Abby’s jury vote. Sure, that meant Corvis was thinking about facing me in the end but I couldn’t let him pile up the votes. Under the pretense that a united vote is always best, I got him to agree to let Jbug in on the plan (even if she already was). I think I came up with valid arguments: Abby was nice and deserved the truth to come out, at the very least we owed her that. Also, Jbug had been convinced to sit on veto so leaving her in the dark now would make her mistrust us and she could possibly put us on the block. I had a few more arguments but those were the strongest ones. They worked and Corvis relented.

But then, Corvis showed me once more that he was playing behind my back: Kriss reported that he had “promised” her his vote only if she promised not to nominate him and to accept one of his suggestions if she became HoH. Krissmiss saw the benefits of us two being a closer pair while Corvis thought he was closer to Kriss than I. We’d keep tabs on our friend who was proving to be quite deceitful.

After Abby’s elimination, the next HoH was the first non-random one and an easy challenge to figure out at that. Throwing an easy comp would be hard because it would reveal my whole strategy. So, instead I decided to give the answer to some of my allies: Jbug, Krissmiss and Corvis. I thought Krissmiss particularly would want to be HoH. After all, I figured that, having been nominated twice, she’d jump at the chance of winning this one and being safe. Her answer disappointed me. She said: “Great answer buddy but you should submit it yourself.” Hummm…Wait, what? I had stuck my neck out for two weeks to save her and now she wanted me to do it once more and be the HoH that would protect her again. No way. I’d submit that answer and, if I became HoH, she could well become a replacement nominee. I mean, I really liked you, Kriss and I was honestly thinking that we could go far together but I needed more game play on your part.

But Zazzy won HoH and new problems arose. Zazzy showed that she didn’t trust me by asking me time and again what I would do if she didn’t nominate me. Whom would I target, whom would I vote against and would I promise once more not to nominate her. Weren’t we in an alliance? Hadn’t I already made those promises? When someone doesn’t trust me that tells me they are thinking of evicting me. I’d have to be extra nice to Zazzy but vote her out at the first occasion.

Like they say, people eliminate themselves in these games but Zazzy had the power so I had to pretend to be a good follower. To my disappointment, Zazzy had her sights on Suzzee. That was another sign of Corvis’ duplicity because I had told him that Suzzee would be loyal. Now I was sure that Corvis and Zazzy were a strong pair and they wanted me as their 3rd wheel so they were eliminating my options. Fortunately, I had many allies in the game so I could go along and still have numbers on my side. I agreed to voting out Suzzee to show I was with Corvis and Zazzy. The pain of sacrificing a dear friend was lessened by knowing I was saving another ally and that my alliance with Kriss would remain hidden.

The next HoH came along and this one I wanted to win in order to eliminate Zazzy. Corvis would also have to go up on the block because I didn’t want him to save Zazzy. Unfortunately, I lost that challenge in a tie-breaker and, to make matters worse, Corvis won it. I had to be a nice follower one more week but I feared having to choose between two allies again. Jbug had proven more trustworthy and a stronger player so she’d be my choice to keep but, for the same reasons, she was their main target. To save her, I came up with what I think was a terrific plan if Corvis would only nominate Zazzy as the “pawn”. Here is how I presented it to him:

>what I would do is use the tension between jbug and the duo of Zazzy and Kriss. I know Jbug isn't with them and she has voted the way we wanted from the start and went along with our suggestions when she was HoH and had veto.
>If Zazzy and Kriss are nominated, there will not be a veto used to save someone else, that is guaranteed. As a benefit, you gain points with Jbug for next week and that can be your explanation to Zazzy for putting her up as a pawn: You don't want to create an enemy for F4 when 1 vote decides everything.
If you nominate Jbug and Kriss, one of them stays in the house and could win POV next week. Now, if Zazzy or Kriss win POV this week, we still control the votes because I will vote for us. The worse could be a tie and you break that tie.
>With Zazzy and Kriss on the block and no veto used, we eliminate Kriss and then, at F4, you still have the rivalry between jbug and zazzy to protect you. If Jbug wins F4 POV, I’m sure she votes out Zazzy while you know Zazzy would eliminate Jbug. You’d have F3 guaranteed.

Of course, I would have asked Jbug to eliminate Zazzy right there and then but Corvis didn’t need to know that. Even if my plan was apparently leading him directly to the F3, Corvis decided to keep Zazzy safe. That really showed me where I stood but, surprisingly, I wasn’t the target. I had convinced them that I was in their alliance. Corvis even exposed that alliance in the main thread! Who does that?! On the one hand, it reassured me that I wasn’t his target but, on the other, it put a new challenge in front of me: Jbug and Kriss would know I had multiple deals. I was still hoping to save them both if one of us could win the veto but it looked like I’d see one more ally voted out. Fortunately, Jbug won veto but now I had to really start playing because the replacement nominee would be either me or Zazzy and I had very little doubt where Corvis’ true loyalties rested I once more tried to get Corvis to nominate Zazzy but it was all for nothing. I had to save myself so I told them the facts: Kriss had a wonderful underdog story to present to the jury. Surprisingly, it worked. I was sad to see Kriss go but it had been do or die for my game.

The rest came down to winning both the F4 HoH and then the Power of Veto. Finally, I had won the two most important competitions to date so I would be able to finalize my plan. The whole idea was to be in a similar position to the one Hatch had in Survivor Borneo. I wouldn’t need to win the final competition because I would be taken to the end by the other two. Unfortunately, Corvis took my move very personally even if that wasn’t the intent. He threatened to make it his mission that I lose even if he had to give the win to Jbug in the process. If that was the way things had to be then I’d adapt again and go for the win in the F3 hoH just as hard as I had in the last 3 competitions. I thought I had the right strategy to win 4 out of those final 7 events but it turned out that 3 wins were enough.

Jbug has played a good game as far as competions go but she won the early ones, when some of us (I’m sure I wasn’t alone) weren’t really trying to win them. I won the ones that really mattered so you can’t say she outplayed me. She doesn’t have anyone’s blood on her hands but that’s because she followed my directions. I have often read on the Survivor boards that viewers hated the result because the jury was bitter, causing the better player’s loss. Maybe some of those posts were even yours, so I ask you to look at my actions as being strictly game moves and nothing personally directed at you. I consider you all good players who just happened to get surprised this time.

I will be more than happy to answer your questions. Bring ‘em on!

Thanks Dear Abby!

Just to avoid any confusion... Zenbot reminds the Jury that only one question can be asked (to be answered by both finalists) and only during the live vote tomorrow night and not in-thread here.

As done here, the two finalists may post as they please between now and 10:00 tomorrow and will also have the opportunity to make one final short speech prior to the vote (see below).

"RE: My Case to the Jury"
Posted by DearAbby on 09-20-11 at 11:21 PM
Now that I've made my vote, michel, I'd like to give you a little insight to why I voted for jbug to win. First of all, it's too bad they don't have a Canadian version of Survivor; you would no doubt stay on the island all 39 days and win the million dollars. But this game wasn't designed to be about eight people stranded on an island. It was designed as a just-for-fun game similar to BB, and I believe you took it way too seriously.

IMO, you made an error taking jbug with you to F2. Her comp wins—especially the first HOH—were nothing to sneeze at. And her social game was awesome. She kept everyone entertained, and that's part of why I voted for her to win. She even said in Post #32 above that she was trying to make points with the jury. By saying that "out loud," she must've really had lots of faith in you; if I'd been in your shoes, that would've been a reason not to keep her around. Having said that, though, I probably would have voted Corvis to win over you if you had evicted jbug.

I'd also like to reply to a few things you said in the post above, with your comments italic and my bold emphasis.

I had Jbug questioning “our” choice, wanting to know if I'd agree with something Abby suggested: backdooring Suzzee, Suzzee?

I never made that suggestion to jbug. She pm'd me right after making her nominations, and I replied that I was surprised she had put up a fellow Tennessean and kept safe someone who hadn't joined the game at that point. Not a single word about saving Wayne or replacing him with suzzee.

You made too many assumptions—and we all know what happens when we ass-u-me. I never asked you to "save" Wayne. All I did was suggest the four of us split our votes to hide our Survivor Veterans alliance. In fact, after jbug's nominations, when you asked how I thought we should vote and if I knew Wayne or if I had exchanged with him, I replied:

>Wow! You must've really said something
>great to jbug to keep
>our alliance safe. I'm shocked
>she didn't nominate suzzee, who
>has been MIA.
>
>I don't know Kriss or Wayne,
>and neither has PM'd me
>(yet). Let's wait and see
>how the POV turns out
>before we make a final
>decision.

And later, after the POV and you made your case for unanimous votes, I told you I was agreeable to voting out Wayne.

Since Dear Abby told me she wanted to save Wayne and Jbug told me Abby wanted to backdoor Suzzee, I assumed Dear Abby had contacted Zazzy to use the veto in order to change the nominations.

Your assumption would be wrong. Again. I never had any contact with zazzy until after her eviction. (And, like I said earlier, I never wanted to save Wayne or backdoor suzzee.)

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *pause to take a breath* Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you really think we were all hoping to ride your coattails? Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it's okay for you to avoid HOH but not anyone else?
Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, and if you criticized me, it must've gotten lost in cyberspace. Wait ... maybe you didn't consider me one of your allies.

Bitter? Not me. It's just a game—a game based on BB, not Survivor—and the last few comps aren't the only "ones that really mattered."

You really don't get it, do you? My goal was to get to the F2 and be able to tell everyone about my strategy, show how I think this game should be played. Certainly not Rachel's way or Jordan's way or Adam's way or the countless other lame contestants we have seen. My game had a bit of Will's and of Survivor's Todd but it wasn't enough. So be it.

Jbug gave me the safety of knowing she would take me if she won F3 HoH. Corvis and Zazzy were a pair that were going to take each other. Had there been a million dollars on the line, I would have played it like Hatch and let Corvis take me to the end but here...

You see, I know how jury works:

http://community.realitytvworld.com/boards/DCForumID4/4932.shtml

That was about Russell Hantz and I certainly wasn't as bad as that creep yet, despite everyone in that thread claiming that the jury should have accepted his great game play and given him the Title, this jury wasn't any different. I knew Jbug played the jury-friendly game, I simply didn't care. This reality TV savvy crowd was supposed to vote for gameplay but it didn't. Juries never do so I wasn't thinking of the win. I would have been impressed by that much objectivity but I didn't expect it.

As for you dying of laughter, you missed that other point: You weren't my ally by then so I was glad that you threw that competition. I was talking about Zazzy and Kriss who had submitted 0 for answer and Corvis who obviously missed by a mile. It simply was a trick to get them to win competitions, expose their plans and weaknesses.

No, I don't think you were bitter, just mad that I got you again. And even the Chenbot realizes that the last veto is the most powerful one of the season, the last HoH the most important one.

The game may be based on BB but, as far as I know we weren't trapped inside a house or stranded on an island. We were playing to eliminate each other and that is as much Survivor or BB. To object means that you would have voted differenly if this was in the Survivor thread and I know that isn't true.

"Live Jury Vote schedule & format"
Posted by Zenbot on 09-19-11 at 07:13 PM

The two finalists for the Hamster House are michel and jbug. The winner will be decided by the votes of the Hamster House Jury Members. In the event of a tie vote, the vote of the last Jury Member evicted from the House will be the tie-breaker.

All six Jury Members are invited to the Live Jury Vote to be held at 10:00 EST, Tuesday. A Jury Member may opt to send a vote in advance by PM to the Zenbot instead of attending the Live Jury vote.

Live Jury Vote, Tuesday, 10:00 p.m. EST:

1. Welcoming of the Hamster House Finalists, michel and jbug, and the Jury Members.

2. Jury Members PM Zenbot their question for approval by Zenbot until all questions are approved. Jury Members who attend the Live Jury Vote may ask ONE question which will be answered by both of the finalists. Please keep the question fairly short and easily answerable. (Note: This can be done in advance of the Live Vote, if desired by the Jury Member.)

3. Jury Members post their approved question in the Jury Box within the thread.

4. Both Finalists provide short replies to the questions posted.

5. Both Finalists get the opportunity to post one last short speech as to why the Jury Members should vote for them.

6. Jury Members PM their votes to Zenbot.

7. Zenbot declares the outcome of the vote and the winner of the Hamster House game.

8. Prize-giving ceremony (something for everyone!).

Post-game comments (open posting):

Open discussion at your leisure. The Zenbot will also ask for feedback about the game format, competitions, realism and suggestions for next game (planned during next season of BB).

Actually Suzzee, I chose to hold back only in the first 2 weeks.
Winning the early HoH puts a target on your back and you saw that first hand. Starting week 4, I went all out to win and it worked well for me. That's the best strategy: Win the challenges you need to win.

Wayne will not be here tonight, so we have included a question put together by all of the Jury who are here tonight. The question is:

"Do you think you made it to F2 against the hamster who gives you the best chance of winning? Briefly explain why or why not."

Questions (also) below.

"RE: Question by combined jurists on behalf of Wayne"
Posted by michel on 09-20-11 at 10:17 PM
I like that question. Yes I do because Corvis would have had the same arguments to make to the jury. He was a strategist and played extremely well and hard himself. The jury would have had trouble differentiating us.

With Jbug, the choice is clear: She won competitions and I strategized. yet, I won 2 HoH and the critical F4 veto so I think I equal her there. Jbug was loyal but she really only was loyal to me and i was just as loyal to her as she was to me.

Thanks Dear Abby!

Interesting...
after learning how Michel backdoored a few hamsters - or stabbed them in the back if the case may be - I feel I may get votes just because he made a few ememas
But my strategy to play every comp hard compared to his strategy to hold back may be the best way for me to win.

LAST EDITED ON 09-20-11 AT 12:52 PM (EST)

Let me begin by saying I have had the most wonderful time here in the Hamster House with all of you. A few of you I sorta knew before; others I really only got to know since entering the House. So, I say thank you to Cahaya Zenbot for giving me this place to meet more cyber friends.

Little did I know when I joined this game that some of you have such experience at these things! And that some of you are reality tv strategist experts. Now that I know you better, I'm paying more attention to your comments – especially in Survivor – and I realize you don't just watch these shows! Some of you live them!

On to my game play & my strategy.
I was the first to join the game a& as Michel said, he suggested we team up as the 1st in, last out alliance. Since I've never played this kind of game before, that was good for me. I did not know he had other alliances on the side; however, I did suspect he did. As long as he continued to assure me that I was #1, that was all that mattered. I gave my word to him; I expected nothing less from him. That's the way I am.

Then? I started getting alliance offers from several others. Zaazzy wanted me to team up with her & Corvis as an AI alliance. Then it's D'Abby who wants to team up. I hear nothing from Wayne, Suzzee or Kriss. But I wonder aloud in pms to Michel & Zazzy about how I should handle the multiple alliance proposals. I can't lie; not in my nature; so I beat around the bush with Zazzy, Corvis & D'Abby.

When I won first HoH, I was ecstatic! .Then, reality set in. I had to nominate 2 people; worry about the future repercussions and? worry about the veto.
I couldn't nom Corvis; he found the pics to make our siggies; and D'Abby made them so that made her safe. Michel suggests Wayne & Kriss as the unknowns. See? Even from the beginning, he was manipulating me. But don't think he pulled all the strings. Just as many other hamsters were making just as many friendy suggestions. The only difference was that Michel is the one I was saving all along, at every turn & choice I made. I was warned plenty of times to watch out for him. I could have joined with others at to backdoor him several times. But, I had given him my word; my word is my bond. Therefore, Michel was safe because I would not turn on him.

Now we are to the end and it's no longer in our hands. In a way, I felt like a cross between Jordan & Rachel. I played honestly and nice and was friends with everyone. I brought food & lots of entertainment and kept fun going in the threads even during times when others didn't have as much to say. I even had a few blonde moments when I had to ask the Bot for further explanation on some of the competitions. Then I became the Comp Queen like Rachel. How about that? Similarities to 2. count them TWO Big Brother winners!

So, what do you say, Jury?

My dear friend and fellow right wing Tennessean Wayne, I do regret that you were evicted on my watch. When D'Abby pointed out to me that Suzzee was relatively MIA, I realized I could have put a separate alliance together you & her. I tried my best to get you off the block. I sorta thought it would be smart of the Veto winner – Zazzy – to do as the HoH asked as long as it wouldn't put one of her alliance up in your place. But I couldn't convince her. And yes I tried just as hard as she posted in her comments before she was evicted. I know at the time you said you'd vote for anyone who was against me in F2, but I hope you'll reconsider. You can see how I played the game all the way thru; with integrity & honesty. And I played full out on every challenge; no slacking or throwing comps for me!

Hello Suzzee, my sock puppet friend. I remember when you got that siggy from one of the funniest times in BB history. By now you know I had second thoughts after putting Wayne on the block. Since you were MIA for most of the time, and Abby put a bug in my ear, you became a target. Luckily for you (that week) Zazzy refused to use the Veto. Sorry you were having a sucky IRL that week too. When you & I were on the block together, I figured I was a goner. I had only one alliance; by then I figured that others were working together & I'd be the odd hamster out. I got lucky on the Veto; Kriss was put up with you and, whammo, you got evicted instead of me. Like the week Abby left, the votes were determined, so again it made no sense not to go along.
I had a great time playing with you. I look forward to the next Hamster House with you there again

In the beginning, I was really considering taking Zazzy with me to the end. I trusted her and I think she trusted me but then I heard that she was plotting against me. Maybe that was true, maybe it wasn't but, by then, I had realized that she wasn't going to help me by being HoH. I still wanted her to go far but it soon became a choice between us two. I had no way of voting to keep her safe anymore.

Thanks Dear Abby!

Suzzee, on her way out told me to watch out for you and Kriss. I knew you were dangerous. Kriss? I didn't think so but you have to listen and remember things in this game.

LOL, I figured that either Suzzee or Jbug or both would tell you that I told them that you had tried to get me to lie about Dear Abby.

Good thing I won HOH the next week. But it did not take you long, did it, for you to start campaigning to Corvis to boot me.

"RE: Kriss"
Posted by michel on 09-21-11 at 09:42 PM
Zazzy, I had you in my sights as soon as Jbug told me that you and Corvis tried to recruit her for a three-way alliance. My suspicions were reinforced when I tested Corvis, offering him a three-way alliance with Suzzee. He said you would be a better 3rd and then you went and nominated Suzzee. See how these things work? I was never in the trio, Never. I trusted Corvis to keep me but knew he had other coals in the fire. I couldn't do a thing except pretend to be with you.

I never told Corvis I wanted to boot you. That would have been dumb. I was already taking a big risk telling him I thought you were targeting me. I was always saying: "Corvis, Zazzy will vote me out." Never; "I want Zazzy out." With this approach, he promised to keep me safe instead, to get you to work with me.

"Zazzy"
Posted by jbug on 09-20-11 at 12:47 PM
Hi fellow dog lover Zazzy. What can I say? Your initial request that I join you and Corvis in an alliance was tempting; I just couldn't figure out how to handle more than one alliance (now that I see how Michel did it , I've learned what it takes to do that. ). I think I'm better off having kept to my one solid alliance, but at the time I even asked you how to handle more than one, remember? LOL About your very carefully worded pms about keeping me safe? Me thinks you've had some experience & easily made me think you were saying you'd not put me up, when you were really promising I'd be safe when you did! Boy was I shocked! But you kept your word and I was safe (tho I did sweat a lot – and for a hamster I don't think that is healthy). When I was taken off the block & you were put on it, you knew then that Michel and I were together. Not much I could do at that point to save you. My one and only alliance wanted you gone; I wasn't about to go against his wishes and evict Corvis instead. Sorry that I misinterpreted your lengthy posts to the jury and audience about what had been going on. Maybe after I got caught by your exact wording before, I was reading between the lines very carefully and adding my own too! You made it to Final 4 and I know you wanted to go all the way, but the tables turned in my favor instead of yours.

Zazzy was quite a player. I suspected she had played some of these before but even more power to her that she didn't.

Fortunately, I knew from the start that she was in tight with Corvis. I respected her game a lot so the only way to beat her was to lie. I had fun talking with her about other things but, after week one, I was extremely guarded with her, telling her things only to put her doubts about me to rest.

Thanks Dear Abby!

Well, well, well Corvis. First time I've really interacted with you here in RTVW world and let me tell you I have loved it! You are a stand up guy. And? You are way good at these games! You analyze strategy – You are a pro! Now when I read you comments in other reality forums, I realize just who & what I was up against! I can't believe I made it this far against the likes of you! That F4 HoH competition came down to the luck of the draw – 2 draws in fact. If I had been able to count sticks as well as I counted circles, I know your expertise in strategy would have been brought out in full force to show why you deserved to be in the F2 instead of Michel.
There's not much I can say about my getting to the end instead of you once we made it to Final 3. The Olympics were another comp that involved some strategy but also more random stuff. It happens.
You have taught me new ways to look at how reality games are played. Reality TV shows are no longer mindless entertainment for me. They are so much more when one tries to figure out the hows and whys of the various moves. So I thank you.

I think I only need to second what Jbug just wrote. We had a lot of fun playing together but, because Zazzy was so close to you, I simply couldn't go to the end with that F3. I thought it would be 2 against 1 and I hate those odds. My prefered F3 situation is Hatch's where he could say: You two battle it out. Then you forced me to fight for that last HoH and I'm glad I did. Being like Rachel, I don't think that I look good with her fake boobs but it's fun to say that I am a competitor!

Thanks Dear Abby!

"Michel"
Posted by jbug on 09-20-11 at 12:50 PM
You're not jury, but I have something to say to you too.

What can I say to you Michel? From the beginning we promised to stick together to the end. First 2 in; last 2 standing. I took a chance making an alliance with a hamster I didn't know well; one who I had seen posting a lot about background stuff in Survivor forums; one who knows Survivor history like the back of his hand! But, I am a trusting soul, so I jumped in feet first with you. I had no inkling what a master manipulator I was teaming up with!
Yes, as you say, it was a lot of hard work to get us both to the end; but I won't let you take all the credit. You had me believing you were trying as hard as I was to win every competition. You kept me in the dark that you planned to let me do the dirty work at first. Wonder if you realized how it would turn out in the end. I busted my butt to win comps, thinking one of us had to win to keep both of us safe. So I became the Comp Queen and got a target on my back for that. When you say you won the comps at the end that counted, you have to admit that the luck of the 2 draws is the only reason you got the final HoH. That could just as easily have gone my way.
Regardless, I still had a blast playing with you. I don't hold your strategy against you; in fact, I admire the time you must have put into it. It's been a blast being your partner for the whole way. We made quite a pair. I can't believe we were able to keep how strong our alliance was a secret from the other hamsters; they may have suspected us, but I don't think they knew for sure.

Yes, Jbug, it was fun to play with you. I even proposed a showmance but you were taken already!! My biggest disappointment this whole game...

I know that the comps were rather random but you have to admit that I put a lot of consideration in figuring out the best strategy to attack those games. Both the card game and the Olympics, I shared with you my plans. And there were two other competitions where I lost tie-breakers so I was due to win one! I do believe we are Comp King and Queen!

As for how much time I put in, I just counted the number of PMs I received during the game: 452. That a big inbox!

"Do you think you made it to F2 against the hamster who gives you the best chance of winning? Briefly explain why or why not."

Michel's strategy was to have multiple alliances and jbug's was
to have only one. Why did you choose to go that way?

"RE: Krismiss's question"

I can't lie' I never learned to - seriously.
I know it's just a game so I don't want to think that in IRL Michel lies a lot, but even in a game I can't do it.
So I had to choose to go with only 1 hamster in my alliance.

You need to be with everyone to know what is going on. You need others to trust you to stay safe. You need to be with others to know who is targeting you. Information is the key to the game and you only get info if people trust you.

Copy/paste from above:

I like that question. Yes I do because Corvis would have had the same arguments to make to the jury. He was a strategist and played extremely well and hard himself. The jury would have had trouble differentiating us.

With Jbug, the choice is clear: She won competitions and I strategized. yet, I won 2 HoH and the critical F4 veto so I think I equal her there. Jbug was loyal but she really only was loyal to me and i was just as loyal to her as she was to me.

First, I apologize for not covering my oobies. Corvis stole my coconuts as we were leaving the sequester house.

Hello, michel. Hello, jbug. Congratulations on making it to F2.You both have accused me of making the suggestion to backdoor suzzee, when all I said to jbug is that I was surprised she nominated a fellow Tennessean and not the person who was MIA from the game. My question to you both is: Why did you assume I wanted to backdoor suzzee?

As far as I go, Jbug told me you suggested to backdoor Suzzee and you later asked me to save Wayne so I had to trust what I was being shown. It's hard to be sure of anything but that's what I saw.

"zazzy's question"
Posted by zazzy on 09-20-11 at 10:29 PM
How important in Big Brother is the social game and how do you evaluate your social game in the Hamster House game?

"RE: zazzy's question"
Posted by michel on 09-20-11 at 10:33 PM
The social game is the most important factor. If people don't like you, they don't talk to you. If they don;t talk to you, you could be the best strategist ever, they won't give a damn. You socialize as part of your strategy and you socialize in order to avoid being left out of the loop.

My social game allowed me to know what was going on most of the timer and it allowed me to submit my ideas on whom to vote, whom to keep. It was very successful in that respect and i think it was also good enough to keep people amused.

Thanks Dear Abby!

"zazzy"
Posted by jbug on 09-20-11 at 10:37 PM
Social game is big big.
And I believe I played a great social game. I brought a lot of fun stuff to the cage for everyone to do.
I talked with everyone.
I played the Jordan social game. Not imitating her...but just being myself. I like people and I like for people to like me. That is one reason that I got so stressed out being the first HoH. I didn't want to do anything to make anyone not like me.

(forgive my lack of siggy - my computer is slowing down really bad!! maybe too many post trying to go on at the same time)

*reads michel's response to Zazzy*

Hmm. I don't think you understand the term social game, michel. That being said...

I would never have brought Survivor into a Big Brother game, but michel did so I want to put it out there. Right before I was voted out, michel told me that voting for jbug over him was like voting for Courtney (someone who didn’t do much to get to the F3) over todd (who is considered a master strategist by many) from Survivor: China. Michel, can you explain that statement? And jbug, how do you feel about that assessment?

"RE: Corvis' question"
Posted by michel on 09-20-11 at 10:42 PM
Social game is the ability to socialize with everyone. I did that as well as anyone but, at some point, the society has to be broken up.

As for the Todd vs Courtney statement, I did play like Todd's Art of war: Keep your opponents and your allies guessing about your true intentions. Courtney made the F3 because she stuck with Todd much like Jbug stuck with me. I made sure at every turn that she could trust me. Trust is the key to this game.

Thanks Dear Abby!

I'm sorry but the best player ever in BB was Dr Will and he never won a HoH. That is actually the only smart way to play. After you won HoH I had to guide you to keep you safe, telling you to warn Kriss she was only a pwan in order to avoid getting her against you. I also told you that it would be best not to have the veto used in order to keep the enemas at a minimum

"Final speech by michel "
Posted by michel on 09-20-11 at 11:00 PM
BB is a game of strategy and I used strategy from the start. In order to see that strategy get a chance to succeed, I had to socialize with all of you. We had fun together, that I know. But the game is also about trust so I had to get people to trust me in order to get to the end. That causes some hurt feelings but BB isn't a nice game, it can be very vicious. I kept things very game oriented, never making it personal so those fun exchanges were real, not fake.

As for avoiding winning competitions, that is the way Dr Will played and that is the smartest way to go: You only win challenges when you need them. Playing to win early is pointless because you don't know who are your targets. You wind up making allies with a manipulator like me while voting out people that you could you have used down the road. I stayed in the shadows, learning about the players: Who were the threats, who were trustworthy, who could help me, who could hurt me, elaborating my plan as I went along. Then, when I knew where everyone stood, I struck and surprised everyone. That is the game: Outwitting.

Like I said, I know you are all good players that simply got surprised by me this time so, even if you don't particularly like my tactics, you have to admit it was a good game.

Thanks Dear Abby!

Congrats to both of you on getting where you did. WIth regard to how I voted, I voted for Jbug. Honestly michael, you had me at about 50% before this live vote. But then I started thinking about what you said. You raised really good points...for Survivor, not BB. Then in replying to Jbug's comments to each of us individually, you couldn't even remember you were talking to Krismiss, not Zazzy, so that sealed your fate ;) Actually, I liked your gameplay. I just hate being played.

But I am looking forward to hearing more from you on the other threads. BTW - i'm not bitter.

Earth to Michel:

"I guess nice wins over game. You did have a very good jury performance but the jury was bitter!

Anyway, I like my new siggie, courtesy of our bigger fan."

Even with the final results you still don't get it!

You have been playing Survivor in the Hamster House!

This is a game modeled on BB. It is not outwit, outlast, outplay.

It is a mind game, and you need to be conscious of how your moves are received by the other players because very little is hidden.

There are things you have taken credit for when you don;t know the whole story.

In jury discussion, the vote was 5-0 for Jbug among the active members. Not sure who might have switched a the end.

In any event, a majority saw Jbug's balanced game of social+ comp prowess.

This was *not* about people being bitter.

"RE: Congratulations Jbug"
Posted by michel on 09-20-11 at 11:53 PM
First of all, BB is just a Survivor wannabee! The first season was a dud so they decided to imitate survivor and get the players on the jury to vote for the winner. It is the same Outwit, Outplay, Outlast, just more random because HoH decides everything.

Of course I was conscious of how the moves were received: You were upset, you even said you'd never play again. That's what decided your vote.

More tomorrow...but this thought while it is fresh on my mind:

you appear to have great respect for the Survivor game,

At the same time, you disregard the BB game.

Many times real BBers have said that BB is an easier game to play than Survivor but it is harder to win.

If you look back over the evictees, do you see one or more people it would have been better to be in the F2 with?

That is part of the strategy, too.

"RE: Congratulations Jbug"
Posted by michel on 09-21-11 at 07:39 AM
Despite having some loosy ones, Survivor never had bad winners like Adam, Jordan and Rachel to name only a few of the latest. In fact, BB only ever had two good winners: Dan and Will. I'd actually put Maggot and Dyck right behind them!

As for asking about the other F2 evictee, are you Heidi? I considered everyone but the main goal was to have people in the F3 that would take me along if they won F3 HoH. I asked you the same type of dumb question when I was the F4 HoH that you had asked me when you were HoH: Would you bring me or Corvis if you won F3 HoH? You couldn't give me a straight answer. You were had, the game is over, get over it.

Heidi? Who is Heidi? Is that a Survivor player?

@F2...you assumed I was referring to myself. What if you had kept Kris over Jbug? What if you had chosen Corvis? Corvis turned on his "alliance" of Dear Abby and Suzzee.

Here's some feedback for you, Michel.

I knew you were trying to be slick from the first message you sent in the very beginning of th game. That was week one. I did not have a lot of options and so why not play along till I see what is going on? That's why I tried to get you to be clear in your promises.

Then week 2 you try to *slime* me with the Dear Abby lie. I found that my intuition about you was correct, that you could not be trusted. Yet, Corvis did trust you so I played along as best I could. Week 3 I am HOH and you had to rely on me....and week 4 you backstabbed me to Corvis, which did not work that week but Corvis kept you safe.

So in your mind I "got got" but the truth is I did the best with the hand I had, which is not knowing many of the players when the game started. As I have said before, I did not expect to win.

And once again, I am not upset. You and Jbug keep trying to pin that on me There is a difference in being unhappy with someone's behavior and being upset.

As for whether my question is "dumb" or not, Zenbot made the same suggestion to you in post number 179 below and you did not respond to him the same way. Wonder why.

I don't keep trying to pin this on you.

Please accept my apologies for misinterpreting you.

My answer was actually meant as a joke but since you don't know Heidi...
Here is the legend of Heidi and, if you scroll down to the end, you will see her final Tribal council question, one of the funniest moments ever on Survivor and the one I was reminded by your question.

http://funny115.com/v1/35.htm

Of course, I didn't answer Zenbot the same way. He wasn't playing.

You may claim you are not upset but your 5 Part venting session when I put you on the block proves otherwise. I also heard about jury deliberation so I know.

"RE: Congratulations Jbug"
Posted by zazzy on 09-21-11 at 07:46 PM
Michel, I posted this to someone else who asked me if I were upset:

"FWIW, I come from a large, game playing family that plays cutthroat hearts at every reunion. Multiple decks ...so there are multiple queens flying. It's all in good fun. The one who gets the queen or queens dumped on them is unhappy but no one gets angry. We all laugh about it then and later. Some of out fondest memories are playing hearts together."

You wrote: "5 part venting session"

That was not a venting session--it was playing BB! In the BB house most everything comes out because that's the game! BBers are not separated by miles on different islands or worn out from the elements. I was outing your, and some of Jbug's and Corvis's, game play. I also was asking Kris about hers .

I also was calling Jbug, Susie and Wayne out for asking for favors but not offering much in return. Wayne did the best job of the three and in hindsight, maybe I should have aligned with him (now that I know that you were not ;) ).

As far as the jury deliberations...a lot of it was centered around your overreaching in taking credit for things. For example, you think you got me to not use the POV. Not true. I was not going to use it because I did not want you or Corvis to go up on the block or tick off anyone else. What kind of an alliance member would I be if I allowed that to happen? I've watched BB since season 1. Of course I was not going to use the POV first week. However, I wanted you to believe that I did not know what to do and asked you for your advice.

And that worked.

"I also heard about jury deliberation so I know. "

What about the jury deliberation? There isn't anything anyone can tell you that has not already been mentioned to you in responses to things you have written. You are still inferring that I am upset but it just is not so.

I think you would have a hard time at the family hearts game.

"RE: Congratulations Jbug"
Posted by michel on 09-21-11 at 10:04 PM
A family card game? You think that compares with being played by strangers? As for the venting, it comes out because players are angry with the players that are against them. Jeff vented to Kalia and Shelley. Why? He was angry at them.

And, if you think that isn't the same on Survivor, you obviously never saw Fairplay vs Sandra, Judd vs Margaret, BJ vs Jaime, Coach vs Erinn, vs Sierra and vs Candice or Phillip against everyone!!!

As for:
"your overreaching in taking credit for things...you think you got me to not use the POV. Not true. I was not going to use it because I did not want you or Corvis to go up on the block or tick off anyone else"

And what arguments did I present to you: You don't want to make enemies and I could wind up on the block. Whether I convinced you or not isn't important: The result was that you didn't use the veto and we had established a working relation.

Fine game, michel. From what I could tell, you're a master strategist (just as you are in chess) and it came down to who you sat in the final two with at the end. I'm thinking, thank goodness I was hosting instead of playing with or against you!

Thank you Zenbot for a very well run game. You say you wouldn;t have wanted to play against me but can you imagine us playing together?

Do you mean I would have won against Corvis? I doubt it. The anger would still have been directed at me.

everything is fine. whew!
my mom's phone had been busy for awhile - since I had called her to get her to take her meds. Sometimes she lays the phone down to get water & forgets to come back to me.
I figured that was it but by 10 (our time) & it was still busy I had to go see for sure - I could walk to her house thru the woods but not at nite! so the drive is just a couple of minutes.
I couldn't explain in the thread cause I didn't wan sympathy votes or to worry anyone.

Good to go!
Thanks again everyone!

First, thanks to all of you for making it a pleasure to host such a fun game for you. And I'd like to thank agman for the sigs that he has made as prizes for all of you.

Hamster House Feedback

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not?

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother?

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.)

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.)

5. One concern I had was the possibility that the game would adversely affect community member relationships, given all of the wheeling and dealing going on. Was this also a concern to you? Even though the original guidelines reminded everyone that this is just a game, is this something you had to constantly keep in mind? Is this game for just anyone, or do you need a bit of a thick skin to play?

6. I was genuinely surprised by all of the time and effort some of you put into the game. For example, DearAbby created sigpics for everyone! And each week was a monster or double-monster thread. Did this game take up more time than you expected it would? Was it worth the time you put into it for the fun you got out of it? (Your efforts, creativity and fun gave me that much more incentive to do the same!)

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.)

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.)

I'll answer any questions and respond with more comments after some of you have provided some of your feedback.

Thanks again, and it was a genuine pleasure to be your host for the Hamster House game!

I'll answer more in detail but the one thing you absolutely need to do is go to a board that hosts these games. We would play anonymously and our identities would only be revealed after the final vote. The graphics are also quite amazing. Playing here is much too personal. I couldn't play again because I'd be out first!!!!

If you want, I could try to put you in contact with someone that has hosted many, many on-line Survivor games.

Sure, I'd be interested in knowing how the on-line Survivor games work, especially with the anonymous play and comps. I can see how it keeps it from getting personal that way. But can it be done through posting on a message board or does a web site have to be set up?

This game came about almost on spur of the moment with an idea that lit up in my head for something entertaining to do. I honestly wasn't sure how it would turn out in spite of my efforts.

Send me a PM for details on the other games. Thanks!

Posted by suzzee on 09-21-11 at 12:08 PM
Just in case nobody remembers:

I hate math challenges, I am at such a disadvantage because I'd rather do almost anything else. My best shot is an educated guess and that explains my one and only competition win.

PS: Way to go on anyone with the patience to deal with it. ugh

OK on with the show!

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not?

This was fascinating and enlightening and for throwing this together off the cuff I got to give you props, I'd have wilted under the strain. I would play again and I think that true anonymity during the game would be an interesting twist. You wouldn't have a clue as to who was with who. I think I'd like to have the experience so count me in.

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother?

Yes, I think you captured it as much as possible here. The hard part is that you are friends with each other and nobody wants to hurt feelings. I made a comment in one of our jury discussions about understanding how BB players seem to go insane after a couple of weeks and by the time they hit the end they would seriously need a shrink. We don't live this 24/7 like they do and all the crying & paranoia is so much more understandable to me. Yikes, I'd probably maim someone.

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.)

I'll go with luck or those grid logic puzzles I just have no attention span.

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.)

Well, when you do the hosting and posting it really is up to you and absolutely make it to fit your schedule, this worked fine for me and I think it helps to have certain events on the same day, it helps remembering when to do what.

I think it is difficult to be objective when faced with rejection. The very reason this board attracts the kind of people it does is that there are truly wonderful members and it is one of the better ones out there. There is a refreshing level of intelligence, thoughtfulness and compassion. You are treated respectfully and decently. I think it's hard to separate the personal and "it's a game" modes but in the end I know everyone will go back to that baseline. And yes a bit of a thick skin is helpful.

I know right? Those that lasted well into it really put a ton of time and effort in there. Thanks DearAbby and Mr. Phantom Blindside~Joker~agman for the surprise siggies. See that's what I mean by genuinely nice people. michel said he had 400+ pm's and we of Sequester Paradise had lots of FB conversations. Ultimately it took everyone to stick with it to the end and keep the off board game going. Besides I had fun goofing around and there you have it, I had fun.

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.)

Only one thing comes to mind and that's the final question format just post a spot for each jury member and have them post their question and responses under their own curl. I jumped the gun last night with my question but I started having some problems with my computer and was afraid I was going to go belly up before the end.

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.)

I like confusion, ok, now I'll return to my regular scheduled goofing off. Thanks a million Zenbot/Cayaha you're a gem. Great job everyone else in all your efforts. Have a cold one on me.

Hamster House Feedback

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not?

* When I wrote the 5 part outing of players' game play, I said I would not play this game again. This game takes a lot of time, a lot!

However, I've had a good time getting to know the other players, especially in jury, so now, who knows?

At the least it would be fun to be an audience member like Agman and sneak in every so often. *

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother?

*Yes. I think having to concentrate on comps, spend time building alliances and think about what others are doing, and worrying about consequences of being HOH all gives you a little flavor of the game. However, we do it from the comfort of our homes and still have access to entertainment, family, friends, so we don't know the effect of deprivations the way the real BB hamsters do. So in that regard, it is a sorta-practice game.*

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.)

*I admire that you created all the competitions! That was a lot of effort on your part to make this a realistic and fun game.

I liked playing the comps and gave feedback on all of them in the comp thread. There did seem to be a lot of random number/ random winner happening and that was not as enjoyable as the game went one. Hand down my least favorite was the lines....already left feedback on that one. My favorite? Any that I could win, of course! The word one I could not play looked good but it is hard to control people using the outside sources on that one.*

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.)

*At times it seemed slow but then the weeks that RL was a challenge I was grateful for the schedule. I liked the 10 pm deadline. Any earlier and it interferes with the BB show on show nights! Also, it was nice to have time after dinner to still work on a comp. Earlier evening deadlines make that harder to accomplish imo. *

* I did not *know* most of the players at the beginning so this was not much of a concern for me. I do agree people need to keep in mind that it is a game...and to be ready for all the aspects of a BB game: from being backstabbed to being blindsided to having your play be talked about in front of the house.*

*Time...yes, it took a lot of time. Lots of pm's flying. And chats. And trying to figure out who was doing what. And the comps. And the comps. And the comps. ;) (That was for those counting comps where I had to count and recount.) And it was fun. I got some good chuckles out of what people were posting on the threads.*

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.)

*Some have talked about an online anonymous game. I liked this game on the board and getting to know the players better. I also think that some might tell who they were in the anonymous game...privately. But subgroups might know, or recognize some of the players from their posting style. And how would the audience work?

Other feedback I'll have to think about!*

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.)

*Thank you, Zenbot for all the time you put into the game! We would not have had so much fun without your efforts!*

"Hamster House Feedback"

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not?

Yes, I did have fun playing and more than likely would play again.

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother?

Absolutely! Paranoia will destroy ya! All the hidden alliances made you wonder if your alliance mate was true to you or not. And as each new Sequester House occupant showed up, it was fun to "watch the tapes" and see what happened you didn't know about.

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.)

Well, I didn't get to participate in many of them, but I must say I'm not a fan of the ones with random answers. That way, if I want to throw the comp, I can tank it, or if I feel I need to win, I can go all out. On the other hand, the Week 3 HOH comp, with only one perfect answer, made everyone subject to random draw.

BTW, was there some way to figure out the answer to the first HOH comp, or was it pure luck? And what would have been the best strategy for winning the final HOH—which I'm glad I didn't have to try to figure out!

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.)

Weekly was good for me, but I would have preferred earlier deadlines (8:00 or 9:00), since I'm in the Eastern time zone. That way I could have interacted a little bit before bedtime.

Speaking only for myself, I have no hard feelings for anyone, and I hope they hold no grudges against me. If we had been playing Monopoly together and I was the first to go bankrupt, I'd still be friends with everyone. (See also my answer to #7.)

Yeah, it was more time consuming than I at first thought when I signed up. That's why I didn't mind offering to go up as pawn ... playtime was getting in the way of work—or was it the other way around?

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.)

Other than changing the format for challenges, the only thing I can think of is to put a big bold disclaimer at the top of each week's thread: THIS IS A GAME MEANT TO HAVE FUN. ONLY ONE PERSON CAN BE DECLARED THE WINNER. PLEASE DO NOT PLAY IF YOU DON'T THINK YOU CAN STAND TO LOSE. Well, that's probably a little harsh, but you get my drift.

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.)

Thanks for the fun game. I made new friends that I may never have met otherwise.

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not? I ENJOYED IT A LOT EXCEPT FOR BEING ON THE BLOCK EVERY WEEK. SERIOUSLY THOUGH, I DID ENJOY THIS GAME. AND YES, I'D PLAY IT AGAIN. *YOU SHOULD DO ONE FOR SURVIVOR TOO...CUZ THAT'D BE FUN*

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother? YES B/C BEING ON THE BLOCK, I GOT A CHANCE TO UNDERSTAND WHY THE HOUSEGUESTS CRY OVER IT WHEN THEY'RE NOMINATED. NOT THAT I ACTUALLY CRIED ABOUT IT, BUT I CAME TO UNDERSTAND HOW THEIR EMOTIONS CAN OVERWHELM THEM.

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.) I THINK THE COMPETITIONS WERE WAY TOO HARD...OR MAYBE I JUST REALLY SUCK AT THE COMPETITIONS.

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.) AGREE WITH ABBS ON THIS - AN EARLIER TIME WOULD BE NICE.

SPEAKING FOR ONLY MYSELF, I WAS CONCERNED THAT SOME MIGHT TAKE THE GAME TOO SERIOUSLY. I DIDN'T AND I HOPED THAT ALL WOULD KEEP IN MIND THAT IT IS JUST A GAME. I STILL WANNA BE FRIENDS WITH ALL I'VE MET ON THESE BOARDS THROUGH THIS GAME. I'VE ACTUALLY GOTTEN A CHANCE TO KNOW SOME OF THEM ON FB AND HAVE ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW THEM "IRL" SO TO SPEAK. HAVING SAID THAT, EVEN THOUGH IT IS JUST A GAME, I THINK YOU STILL NEED A THICK SKIN TO PLAY IT, EVEN ONLINE, B/C EVEN THOUGH IT WAS JUST A GAME, IT WAS NOT FUN BEING ON THE BLOCK EVERY WEEK. IT MADE ME WONDER WHY PEOPLE DIDN'T LIKE ME...AND I THINK I'M A PRETTY LIKEABLE PERSON. SO YEAH, YA NEED A THICK SKIN.

6. I was genuinely surprised by all of the time and effort some of you put into the game. For example, DearAbby created sigpics for everyone! And each week was a monster or double-monster thread. Did this game take up more time than you expected it would? Was it worth the time you put into it for the fun you got out of it? (Your efforts, creativity and fun gave me that much more incentive to do the same!) YES IT DID TAKE A LITTLE MORE TIME THAN I THOUGHT, BUT I DON'T MIND. I'M NOT CREATIVE WITH THE SIGGIES AS OTHERS, BUT IT WAS FUN.

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.) I AGREE WITH MICHAEL THAT AN ANONYMOUS GAME WOULD BE MORE INTERESTING. I THINK TWISTS WOULD BE FUN TOO B/C THAT IS WHAT BB IS ALL ABOUT.

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.) THE FINAL SHOW NEEDED SOME WORK - HAVING TO SEARCH FOR ANSWERS, ETC WAS REALLY IRRITATING. MAYBE A NEW THREAD FOR THE QUESTIONS AND THEN A SEPARATE ONE FOR COMMENTS BY THE JURY. IT WAS JUST REALLY HARD TO FOLLOW. GOOD THING THE AGMAN DIDN'T STREAK AGAIN.

1. How much did you enjoy playing the game? Would you play again? Why or why not?

I had a great time. I would definitely play again though everyone seems to think I’m a master strategist, even those people who didn’t need my jury vote, so I have a feeling I’d be knocked out first…

2. One purpose of the game was to get a feel of what it's like to play Big Brother. Did you feel almost like you were playing in Big Brother? Is it a "good practice game" for playing Big Brother?

It definitely felt like Big Brother, though of course not as intense. Zazzy and I talked about this during the game – that being in the house must be crazy with all of the paranoia.

3. How do you rate the competitions? Which ones did you like or not like? (These were a bit of a challenge for me to create. I tried to introduce some competitions that mixed strategy with a bit of luck, but all of them requiring at least some thought and/or effort.)

This is the one area where I would like to offer some constructive criticism. I would have liked competitions which people could win on their own merits without any random element. The randomness of the challenges made them less fun to my mind. I would have liked the tie breakers to not even be random – make us answer a BB trivia question or something and whoever answered first wins. Endurance challenges are a staple in BB. How about a challenge where you have to post every 15 minutes, if you don’t, you’re out? Last one still posting wins. Mind you, I loved the game and you did create some really wonderfully inventive contests, but the random elements made them less fun for me.

4. How was the weekly format? Too fast? Too slow? Just right? (It worked nicely within my schedule.)

Format was great. Earlier deadlines are a good idea.

This wasn’t a concern to me. I decided before the game began that I wouldn’t hold any grudges and I haven’t. (This is probably a good time to mention that my ‘anger’ toward Michel was game play. I wanted to make him angry enough to get jbug to vote me out instead of Zazzy as I felt responsible for putting her in a bad position. After she was voted out, I kept it up in the hopes that he’d take me to the end instead of jbug because he wouldn’t get my vote at the end. He saw through that and voted me out.) I do think you need a bit of a thick skin to play. Hopefully, Michel isn’t mad at me for that ‘anger’ and I am sorry if I offended him or made people uncomfortable with the posts.

It took up as much time as I expected, which was a lot! I have never received and sent so many PMs in my life! It was worth every minute. I had a great time.

7. What suggestions do you have to improve the game? What could be done different? Any new ideas to add? (I put in a couple of twists, but didn't want to overdo it.)

I already wrote about my ideas for challenges next time. I think it’d be really cool if there were a way for the audience to see the behind the scenes stuff that’s happening. I don’t think we had much of an audience because they couldn’t follow along with the important stuff – the wheeling and dealing. I have no idea how you’d pull that off unless every PM had to be sent to you too. Then you could post a summary for the audience of what’s happening. But you wouldn’t want the players to be able to see that until after the game… I don’t know. Probably not feasible/too much work.

8. Any other comments welcome! (We'll get production to work on the live show format next time around! Thanks for putting up with the initial confusion during question time.)

Again, thank you, thank you. It was a blast!

I have to say, i really like his idea on the comps - especially the one about posting every so many minutes or a tie breaker with bb trivia. those kinds of comps would be wayyyyy more fun!

Now I can picture it...

It's 5:30 a.m., half the Hamster House has been up all night, several bosses have gotten e-mails/calls in sick, the dog hasn't been fed yet and is getting antsy (oops, he just made a mess!), the electric bill hasn't been paid... and you lose because the power got cut off!

Just kidding! I'll give some thought to the competition thing again, particularly actually doing something (but not something that would keep you up all night!).

I once played a game where someone had to quit because his mom wouldn't let him use the computer for a month! Sucksters are young!

I also saw a revote be determined because someone went to bed before the votes were read. He was certain I was going home but I had turned things against his biggest ally! Fun!

What was less fun was being voted out because one of my allies failed to show.

Well, I'd obviously be the first boot if I played under the same format so why would I? Even if I love a challenge, you would be better to host in on a board like the following:

http://www.survivor-games.com/heroes_villains/

I played this game as Russell!! It was a lot of fun. I'm not sure if you will see the whole board or if I see it only because they kept me loggd on after all this time. The graphics and the challenge possibilities are a thousand times better than what can be done here.
As an added bonus, each player gets his own confessional area, hidden to the other players but not to the host and the audience. players are encouraged to leave their thoughts as they go along.

I had played a few on-line games before but never under my user name. It forced me to cool down on the scheming...for a week. As such, the experience was more about being naked than anything else.

I know you put a lot of effort but this board makes it difficult. Still, a photochop contest where we would have to figure the faces of prior houseguest morphed together would have been doable, I think. A Youtube BB video could have been linked followed by a series of questions.

>4. How was the weekly format?

It was a bit slow, especially the friday to sunday challenge period but, since we started with 8 it worked out fine. A 14 player game would have been fastidious under that schedule. A month, a month and a half should be the total time for a game

The other on-line games were much more time-consumming. The first day meet and greet is hectic as all hell. There's usually half an hour between immunity loss and live voting so the messages fly like crazy to decide the boot. There were TCs where I probably sent as many in that 30 minute period as I did in a couple of days here.
This was nice and relaxed.

Nobody hates you Michel.
Trust me (see? there it is again! LOL).
I had a great time; even if I had lost, or been booted out first, I still would have had a great time.

I think we all feel that way.
Your different way of playing the game should make us all more aware of how different we are all, but how wonderful this community is where we can all get along so well.

Is this mike turned on? ~~tap tap tap~~~

Thank you thank you thank you!
I don't have a speech all planned out! I wasn't expecting this! I was hoping but.... anyway, here goes.

Cahaya (aka Zenbot, aka Trulie): I don't know why you came up with this idea but it was a stroke of genius! You probably never realized how much fun everyone would have, or the many different strategies that would come into play. Maybe next season we can get a house full to play.
Thank you truly, Trulie!

My fellow House Hamsters: A wonderful season. I want to thank my producers all my fellow hamster contestants for a wonder Hamster House Season 1.
What a privilege to be invited to participate in the first HH. I am honored.
Unfortunately I gained about 10 lbs and will now be on a diet - and running on that dang wheel many hours to try to get back in shape in time for next season. Hopefully Zenbot allows returnees veterans back in his house.
Thank you again and again for recognizing that my game plan was worthy.
trying to figure out who voted for Michel - looks like my first victim eviction, Wayne, who I guess couldn't find it in his Hamster heart to forgive me;
and Suzzee? Guess when you heard about my plan to try to put you up as a replacement, that sorta screwed me, huh?

I might not be the strategist that others ~~cough*Michel~~cough*Corvis~~ are, but this proves there are different ways of getting to the end.

To Michel my loyal, my first, my one and only partner. My hat goes off to you. I could never think as strategically as you. Makes me wonder what you do IRL outside the House and RTVW. You probably have a few PhD's compared to my little ole BS.

And last but not least, Thank you to our audience. ~~Agman, you must take a bow now~~.
I'm sure you got lonely sitting out there all alone; but at least it gave you time to come up with all the great siggies.
You were probably taking a lot of notes along the way so next season, all hamsters better watch out for you!

Showin off my win! Thanks Cahaya-wonderful game!

Yes I voted michel, no the plan to put me up didn't make a difference. I told michel that I expected him to play the way he did, I would have been surprised if he didn't. I didn't decide for sure until after the questions were answered and if he hadn't played his style no vote from suzzee. LOL, I had fun and his style made this a pretty good game.

Congrats and wear the siggie proudly

You know all this back and forth with michel makes me want to say something. I completely understand voting for him to win the game. I think a solid case can be made for both of them. In my mind, we had a very good final 2. They had different strategies but both of them worked. In my opinion, jbug played a slightly smarter game because she didn't alienate so many people. And that's why I voted for her to win. But michel, I don't hate you and I'm not angry with you. You played a good game.

"RE: I'll fess up"
Posted by michel on 09-22-11 at 05:21 PM
Let me get this straight: You felt alienated, meaning I caused you to become unfriendly and hostile but you didn't hate me?
Sure...

Answer me this: Would you have voted for Hantz or Natalie? Weren't you in the Hantz camp?

"RE: I'll fess up"
Posted by Corvis on 09-22-11 at 05:47 PM
michel, I didn't say you alienated me. And you didn't cause me to become angry and hostile - that was (unsuccessful) gameplay on my part. I mentioned somewhere in one of these threads that my anger was feigned in an attempt to get you mad enough to get jbug to vote me off instead of Zazzy. And then I was trying to convince you I was so mad I wouldn't vote for you in the end so you'd keep me in the F2. Which you saw through.

But I ended up voting for jbug because I think you both played a good game strategically AND she didn't alienate the other players.

And you are correct - I thought Hantz should have won over Natalie. But jbug is no Natalie. She played a much better game than Natalie did. I know you want to think you lost because we're all bitter and angry and blah blah blah. But it's not true, my friend. jbug played the better game. I hope you can come around to accepting that.

I repeat: not mad at you. I do not hate you. I could never hate someone because of a BB game on a message board. I gave up hate a long time ago. Emotion did not play a factor in my decision to vote for jbug. I weighed the merits of both of your games, particularly your final statements and answers and chose jbug.

I hope you can get over your anger (?) toward me for not voting for you in the end.

"RE: I'll fess up"
Posted by michel on 09-22-11 at 09:45 PM
You don't understand me at all. I am not saying I should have won, I knew I wouldn't. I am saying that you voted for Jbug because you liked her friendly way of playing more than the hardcore strategist.

As for not being angry, you don't hide it very well. Saying that you pretended to be angry so I would ask to save Zazzy instead of you shows how much you were upset by my move. Upset, anger, hate, I don't care exactly what you call it but you reacted negatively to a simple game move. So negatively in fact that you wanted out. It was only a game move but you found it unacceptable. That tells me you would have voted for Natalie if you had been on the cast of Samoa. That is my main point.

As far as strategy, I think even Jbug would say she followed my lead.

And for social game, you understand the social half but not the game part. Take the Outback: Tina was a good social player because her social skills enabled her to impose her strategy. Social + Game. Social alone is just Lamber.

"RE: I'll fess up"
Posted by Corvis on 09-22-11 at 10:49 PM
How is it that you honestly think you know my motives for voting better than I do? Seriously. michel, this may come as a shock to you, but I've known me for 40 years. You've known my message board self here for what how many ever years it's been.

"As for not being angry, you don't hide it very well."

I wasn't trying to hide it... I was pretending to be angry at you because what I felt at the time was guilt for messing up Zazzy's game when I could have followed her advice and gotten you out the week before. The only way I could help her was to get you angry at me to get me voted out. It didn't work, but it was the only bullet left in my gun. So I tried it. I am sorry if that feigned anger at you hurt your feelings.

michel, I am trying to be patient with you. I give you props for a good game, defending you to the rest of the jury who don't think you deserve any credit (except suzzee) and you attack me. Dude, you don't know who your friends are.

That siggie is not helping! I told you week one what I feared the most in this game; people getting angry. You assured me you would never hold grudges so how do you think I felt after you called me a b@st@rd? It certainly felt like you were angry.

But you are right and this is pointless. I respect your message board self enough to drop it.

Corvis, you wrote that I alienated people but that I didn't alienate you, even bolding the pronoun. Therefore some of the other members of the jury felt hostility towards me.

You also wrote that some members of the jury didn't give me any credit at all. I'm sorry but that cannot be an objective view.

You also wrote that people liked Jbug better which is fine but a subjective view, not an objective one.

Pretty fair interpretation, I would say.

Whatttt? Some members felt hostility and were not objective?

Where did he write that? I do not agree with that assessment.

We had a chat; we talked about your moves and Jbug's moves and what each of you wrote and what each of you took credit for doing or making happen in the game.

Here's a widely used chart that shows the expressions of different feelings--if they were all the same there would not be a chart like this:

Yet when I read your posts you seem to attribute anything negative to the worst possible negativity.

I do not understand that choice.

I've always loved that chart! When I teach my students how to cartoon on Friday's I refer to it to show them how to make facial expressions!.

I take full credit for evicting you. Best.Move.Ever!

The rest? I once wrote that, in a reality TV program, the contestants and the editors are almost enemies: each contestant is convinced that his story is the best and should be presented on the air. The editors have 1 story in mind and, often, it is at conflict with what the contestants said or did. The editors have last word so they splice interviews together, repeat some, delete others. They cut scenes as they please to leave a specific impression on the audience, they avoid certain exchanges that would make someone look too good or too bad (Jeff's homophobia) so the final product is much different than what each contestant went through.

All this to say that I could only tell the story from my perspective, not having the benefit of hearing the thoughts of others. When I asked you to sit on veto and you did sit on it then, to me, it was a little victory and I was happy it went that way, "my" way. The fact that you had already figured you would sit on it is irrelevant to my story. Maybe the editors would have cut out your DR interview and the audience would have given me the credit also!!!!

My jury speech was an honest revelation of all the relevant moves and thoughts I had over the course of the game. It wasn't so much taking credit as coming clean. For example, I could have presented the plan to backdoor you as Jbug's idea, said she promised me the F2 if I put you up. But see, during the game, I will lie and be completely fake but once the game is over, I am completely honest, even brutally so. Many people have the reverse approach...

Sorry about the siggie. Agman made it for me. I'll retire it.

Again, I apologize for hurting your feelings with my feigned anger.

Corvis, I'm sorry to have put you on the spot with that "offensive" (NOT) siggie. It was not my intent.

Oh, for Pete's sake. That siggie is not offensive.

If anything, this discussion underscores the importance of the social game.

Michel, I resent the hell out of you trying to give someone a guilt trip about a siggie!.....I made that for him and I took one quote out his many and used it because I liked this quote and figured it could stand on its own. If you are letting a siggie get you that upset maybe you need to get off this thread until you have a chance to cool down a bit. Normally I don't make comments like this on the boards but I think what you're saying in regards to Corvis's siggie is wrong.*shakes head and rolls eyes*

*siggyless so as not to offend*

Did you not notice the exclamation point at the end of my sentence? The part about the siggie was in jest.

"This too..."
Posted by jbug on 09-23-11 at 08:58 AM
I resent that implication!
saying I didn't do much to get to F3?
really? I drug his furry butt all the way thru the beginning.
He floated along like a Porche with a Golden Key & didn't start playing till half way thru the game.

sorry I had to bring it this way, but facts are facts

is pretended anger!

I wasn't arguing! I was pointing out that I too was "playing a part" making comments that appeared angry when they were actually meant in a teasing manner.
