"Desparate or Dead Housewives"

Despite the lack of new episodes I'm still watching. Just wondering if anyone else was? This season has been pretty dissappointing but I wonder if they have what it takes to resurrect it and what they can do to keep us interested till the end of the season at least.

They've pretty much sown up Bree's storyline for this season at least. I think we're all pretty bored with Susan period, though the Carl factor is something to watch. Lynette and Tom's story just kinda hems and haws but nothing spectacular to expect there. What about Gabby and Carlos? They've got their kid now and that will give them some avenues for funny stories but nothing too scandalous I would imagine. So really? What's left to wait for? The Applewhite story was supposed to be the MaryAlice whodunnit of the season and it's barely mentioned in most episodes. Will they wrap it up? Will anyone care? The show just seems to be moving forward but not with a whole lot of direction.

Are the housewives still Desparate or just Dead to us now?

I am still faithful. I read spoilers and it sounds like there are going to be some good things happening. Just wait for those May sweeps...

Well I'm hopeful. It is by far my favorite show. I hate that new episodes are few and far between

I too am still faithful. I think it started out with such a bang that there was no way to keep the momentum. Part of me wonders if, since it was an ABC show, were the writers really prepared for all of the success of Season 1?

I am just in the middle of watching last Sunday's episode (April 16). And I am pretty much laughing through the entire thing. Gabby racing back home from lunch with Bree after the lightbulb flashed takes me back to the first episode when she was mowing the grass.

And while I really don't like Susan, I really am torn on her story. Becuase God help me, I am actually rooting for Carl. And that is what I think the writers want.

the holding pattern it has been in before it runs out of fuel.

I'm glad to see that there are still folks watching and reading and hopefully posting. I love the show, I really do but have been a bit flustered by the way some of the storylines have been playing out this season. It's seems they've squandered alot of the momentum that they had with the Applewhite story at the end of last season and beginning of this season. I hope they spice it up a bit with that. And I'm just wondering what they've got in store for Gabby and Carlos next.
