Now that I've actually seen the opening sequence changes as well, I can say that I like the slightly more rock opening theme and that they kept the graphics consistent between the opening and the actual Race graphics......

Well, because CTV has the Oscars tonight, they showed TAR at 7:00PM so I already know the results. For now, I'll just write that you must pay attention to Phil when the second team arrives at the pit stop. A great eyebrow shot!!

Between Linda last week and Mel and Mike this week, Phil's eyebrow has already gotten a good workout this season!

Fly like an Eagle.

1 paraglides down, the other takes the cable car back.

If unsafe wind, you can wait for better wind or take a 60 minute hike down the mountain.

Roadblock: Who wants to Fly Like an Eagle?

One team member will paraglide down the mountain while the other team member rides back down the gondola and waits in the designated landing area.

If the winds are too strong, teams can wait an indeterminate amount of time or make a 60-minute hike down the mountain.......

If Linda chooses to do the Roadblock and then walks down the mountain, this is how she can get lost so easily.........

Only Mel is waiting up there to actually paraglide because he knows that his groin can't take the run down alternate........

This might be the first time ever that the Roadblock had a safety provision that can turn it into a Detour.......

The wind finally changed.

First team out of there after the run.

Paraglide is faster so Mike/Mel get ahead of several teams.

Looks like Linda missed the arrow.

Balancing Dolly. Ride a Seqway on an obstacle course.

Austrian Folly, throw pies at their partner until they find one with a cherry filling.

That Segway ride did not seem to be as difficult as described - none of the teams seemed to have any trouble with it.

Mel finally got a break with the wind, and he landed in 5th place.

Detour: Balancing Dolly or Austrian Folly

Balancing Dolly = Segway obstacle course

Austrian Folly = Throw pies at each other's face until they find a cherry-filled pie.

Tammy/Victor easily get through Austrian folly, get the log slice from the woodcutters and head to the Pit Stop at a castle......

That had to be the funniest episode I have ever watched. You can show me all the teams doing it, and it was still funny throwing pies at each other.

While it was hilarious, I still think the cheese was funnier. But both were great! 2 great episodes so far!

I'm LOLing at the horse who is wondering what the hell is going on with Christine/Jodi strolling around its stable ... Christine and Jodi are lost!

The horse was just standing there, then the flight attendants came in and the horse just kind of stepped out then looked around as if it was saying, "huh, okay so what do I do now?"

To be fair, it's dark and there isn't a lot of lighting along the course -- but if C&J just went to the Segway finish line, they covered two miles which they didn't have to walk. And who knows how far out of line that put them? Steve & Linda may be out, but it might not be by much.

Not a good episode for pathfinding all around.

Gave the hiding spell to the wood cutter machine thingy.

Since they had to fly, I doubt it, but if it said 14 hours after the first team arrived, then I would say yes......

I remember they said, "14 hours after the race started so it might not mean 14 hours after the first team arrived at the pit stop.

That's what I thought too - Margie and Luke started at almost 3 am so the race had been going on for over 14 hours that day.

Glad to see that Tammy & Victor came in first this leg and that I correctly predicted Linda & Steve's elimination this time around!

Anyone notice Amanda couldn't speak correctly? She pronounced Austria as Australia.

Then showing Brad licking pie off Victoria's face.

Yeah, but Kris corrected her right away.

Most of the teams had trouble pronouncing the location of the detour, I like how the flight attendants just said "we have to go to... that word" instead of flubbing it.
