No.

I think we will be about 40 minutes late or so.

It is lot more fun posting if we are all watching the show at the same time.

It limits what I can post as I don't want to spoil the fun of other watchers.

While it is fun to watch it together, it is also fun to watch you post just enough to peak my curiosity without actually giving anything away.

Wow, you need to know something about Soviet Russia to do the road block. I expect the frat boys to fall on their face.

That is, when they can find the right place to go to.

Hello Earl:

Dandrew getting soaked was a classic.
Dallas can't tell his Lenins from his Stalins!

On a spoiler note, Tina, Toni and Dan have all mentioned money and or passports while Nick and Starr are having an easy time in first place. Maybe too easy!

Americans can't count. Still they can finally figure it out.

But the frat boys even with a English speaking guide can still mess up a walk in the park.

One Stalin should be enough!

As far as the money and passports are concerned, the one that forgets them in a cab is....

Mother and Son are in deep doo-doo.

The frat boys are dancing.

Please make the dancing stop! Please!

Nick and Starr seem to be doing well, but every other team has mess up big time one way or another.

Bus instead of taxi.
Wrong bus.
Lost passport and money

How many mistakes can these people do in a single leg?

And we are off.

Go to this park and go into the submarine and find the actor that played the officer in the Hunt for Red October.

"Clue Two--Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 08:53 PM
Submarine dude clue sends them to the graveyard of fallen monuments or something like that, an outdoor museum.

The clue box is on the grounds.

They have to count the statues of Lenin and Stalin and tell that to a store keeper to get the info to get the next clue.

"RE: Clue Two--Roadblock"

Andrew and Dan's taxi driver takes them to the wrong park.

It is running late in the US, and usually that doesn't get posted until the US peeps get to see the ending. You'll know about 8:40 EST.

But with the same name! That is why it is so important to read the clues.

LAST EDITED ON 11-30-08 AT 09:07 PM (EST)

For those who want to know right away, it's not good news:

1- Nick and Starr
2- Dandrew
3- Ken and Tina

Philliminated: Toni and Dallas.

Worst news: Next week is the finale and the previews make it look good for the Dandrews. Phil calls them the cindrella team, they say it would be the greatest win in the history of TAR(????), we hear them say: "We just passed them" and finally, we hear Tina say: "We can't lose to them." The Dandrews are also the only team seen racing in a park and the final mat is in a park.

so did editing of Dandrew redeem them this week?

like, "sure, they were terrible racers and made stupid mistakes and complained and the one dude was annoying as fvck, but in the end, they redeemed themselves and I don't mind them winning."

"RE: Final Results"
Posted by CTgirl on 11-30-08 at 10:19 PM
No! They're still idiots. Just lucky idiots (who can't dance).

"RE: Final Results"
Posted by byoffer on 11-30-08 at 10:58 PM
The previews made the challenges for the finale very physical. Despite the comments about Dandrew, no way they can beat Starr and Nick in physical challenges.

"RE: Final Results"
Posted by tvgeek401 on 11-30-08 at 11:31 PM
they've been saving themselves physically for the very end.

"RE: Final Results"
Posted by byoffer on 12-01-08 at 08:47 AM
I'm sure there was supposed to be a smiley on the end of that. Saving themselves? They have spent way more energy than the other teams via wrong turns, repeat attempts, and kvetching. Then again, maybe their incompetence in every day life has them uniquely trained for all that.

"RE: Final Results"
Posted by michel on 12-01-08 at 09:51 AM
"no way they can beat Starr and Nick in physical challenges."

True but it may not be a head-to-head confrontation. Nick and Starr may not reach that final challenge in time.

"Clue Four-Detour"
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 09:05 PM
One side get a pastry and follow the clues on the wrapper using the metro.

For the other ride the trolley with a key for a locker.

That looked complicated, I'd have to watch again to get the whole thing.

"RE: Clue Four-Detour"
Posted by batts on 11-30-08 at 09:15 PM
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I was totally confused on that also.

"RE: Clue Four-Detour"
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 09:21 PM
Nick/Starr get through the Metro with the pastry.

Ken/Tina take the wrong thing and take the cab back to the start to take the trolley.

Toni and Dallas finally get back to the apartment to take the cab to the Shetland pony lady.

"Uh Oh."
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 09:09 PM
Dallas let the money and the passport left behind in the cab.

yikes yikes yikes yikes.

"RE: Uh Oh."
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 09:16 PM
Dallas/Toni ride the metro to the Shetland pony park as it is a lot cheaper than a taxi.

"RE: Uh Oh."
Posted by batts on 11-30-08 at 09:17 PM
Oh, come onnnn. Left his bag in the cab? Why arn't they running back???

"RE: Uh Oh."
Posted by Snidget on 11-30-08 at 09:19 PM
Looks like the cab took off and he couldn't find it.

They can't get the clue from Shetland pony lady until they take a cab. Some more Russians give them a some money so they can get back and do the cab.

that told you to come to the mat??

Well Ken and Tina go get it before I can check you in.

Phil goes to meet them to tell them they are out.

Poor Dallas.

I admire the way they kept their spirits up and kept on going. If I had lost my passport, I would've freaked out a little!

Yet again, my favorite team doesn't make it to the final 3!

(*sigh*)

They're great together, and very forgiving of each other after a simple mistake that did them in. Salute.

Posted by skeetergirl87 on 12-01-08 at 09:09 AM
I was very bummed about this. I really wanted this team to do well - if not win, at least make the finals. Toni is about the coolest mom ever and it was great to see an actual functional family for once. I don't know if I can even watch the finale since Dandrew have a chance of winning.

"RE: Dang, didn't even get to the mat"
Posted by Loree on 12-01-08 at 11:33 AM
Twice they have showed Dallas saying that between him and Starr one will win and one won't. We already know he won't win. I just thought it was interesting that it never crossed his mind that they could both lose. One of the other teams could win. Is this a clue that Starr wins?

"Wah"

What a shame.

I have been known to root for the underdog, but I cannot root for the fart boys.

"RE: Wah"
Posted by Jims02 on 11-30-08 at 10:39 PM
I have been known to root for the underdog, but I cannot root for the fart boys.

Ditto. There's a certain charm to underdog teams, but Andrew & Dan don't have it at all. At least with most underdogs, they show some flash of promise. Andrew & Dan have shown virtually nothing the whole race and are probably the worst team to make the Final 3 ever.

Heck, they're probably the worst team to make the Final 5.

"RE: Wah"
Posted by kidflash212 on 11-30-08 at 10:49 PM
That seems to be happening alot lately - completely inept teams who have no right to be in the final three are making it - Lyn & Karlin, Nicholas & Donald, Charla & Mirna (in All Stars) and now Dan & Andrew.

"RE: Wah"
Posted by jbug on 11-30-08 at 10:51 PM
me too MB. I really wanted to see Dallas & Toni in the final.
What a bummer!

"On the plus side"
Posted by dabo on 12-01-08 at 01:03 AM
Spastic Dan doing the speedbump dance was almost as bad as Spastic Dan trying to march.

Seriously, he never really got it.

"RE: On the plus side"
Posted by Max Headroom on 12-01-08 at 08:19 AM
That was an arbitrary task, with approval being a judgment call from the dance team leader. If they had to do the dance correctly, Dan would still be in the park in Moscow today.

"RE: On the plus side"
Posted by samboohoo on 12-01-08 at 09:54 AM
Meh, it was certainly harder than serving holy water, which Ken & Tina had to do for their speed bump.

Tis the season.

"RE: On the plus side"

"Dan would still be in the park in Moscow today."

And that would be bad because...??

"RE: On the plus side"
Posted by PsychoKitty on 12-01-08 at 08:06 PM
I think the judge just couldn't stand to watch them any more and caved. . .

Goddamit!

"Woo Hoo!"
Posted by samboohoo on 12-01-08 at 09:56 AM
Gee, only Dandrew can make stupid mistakes.

Let's see, Ken & Tina failed yet again to read their entire clue. Dallas couldn't match names on the clue to the names on the statue, and he fricking lost his passports and money. And (at least from the editing), he made no attempt to chase down the cab.

Interesting. Very interesting.

Frat Boys are fun to root for.

Tis the season.

Well, I guess the heavy betting will be on Nick and Starr. As it has been all along. With the Frat boys and the Div. couple as competitors, Nick and Starr will have to really screw up to lose this.

I suppose there will be a bottleneck at the airport for the Russia to US leg that should bunch them up though. However, if the instructions are in english (apparently a difficult language for the frats or divorcees to decipher) Nick and Starr should have no problem.

Edited to add a swoop. Son of a gun! An unintentional accidental swoop.
