It may be good to be Canadian, but this thread is more fun if the viewers in the States are posting at the same time.

This is not the first time I have seen that in the race, but is it usual in non-(North America/Europe) for airlines to switch to larger planes when they get an extra number of flyers?

Um, does it really matter when you get on the plane? It isn't like the people who get on first necessarily get off first.

Or arrive 15 minutes earlier than the rest of the plane??

ETA: The only plane swaps I've been involved in was when one plane was mechanically bad for some reason and luckily it was the last flight out for the night so they had another plane they could swap it for.

We all looked so forlorn when the plane pulled away from the gate without us and they hadn't told us what was going on, yet.

Mr. Nutz thinks TAR pulled a fast one there. I guess it would've been a non-bunching nightmare for the producers if 8 teams were 5 hours behind the first two.

Don't know if it's unusual for airline to switch to larger planes - but one thing I'm sure of, Tina had nothing to do with it. I suspected she was a control freak from the last episode but this just confirmed it beyond a shadow of a doubt. Is she delusional? Bad enough she believed she alone made an airline switch to a larger plane but then to make sure she goes around expecting every other team to thank her was insane.

For safety, don't you have to remove your regular hat before you put on a hard hat? Putting one on top of the other leaves a big gap.

And can someone PLEASE - PLEASE shoot the frat boys and put me out of my misery.

We'll see what happens. It's recording, but I've been getting some winds that were interfering off & on with the signal. I'm hoping that that won't hose me this week. I did remember to record the show after, so barring winds or a hiccup like last week, I should be good for the recrap.

I hope it works ok, I love reading the recaps.

No, and what really gets me is that this is *ONLY* the second leg of the race. I expect to see mistakes like this when people are tired and have gone week(s) without proper sleep, not so early in the game.

I know!!! ..and this episode was ripe with mistakes! There are at least 3 teams that should've been eliminated for stupidity!

Twice during the show I almost liked Anthony & Stephanie
and each time Anthony had to say one last thing that made him obnoxious. First, I liked the sentiment that they noticed that they have it better than most people around the world only to have him make an stupid crack about broken down cars and at the end being thankful for his looks (what mirror does he use - I need one just like it).
