Welcome to The ABC, gamers!
Anti Boot Contest.It's been a while since we've had a source free season and this game is ALWAYS more fun when no boot lists exist.
Here it is, a re-roll out of one of this boards longest running games.The game rules are simple.
Each player will be required to make a weekly list of SAFE Survivors.
Safe Survivors are those that avoid votes at tribal council.
But as the name of the game suggests, you may NEVER list the name of the bootee. (Well, relatively never.)Every week, your list of survivors can be as long or as short as you desire, depending upon your derring-do.
However, as suggested above, I wouldn't include the name of the bootee.The point system will run as follows...
+1 point for every survivor who wins a reward challenge.
+1 point for every survivor who wins an immunity challenge.
+1 point for any survivor who plays a hidden idol at TC.
+2 points for every survivor who goes without receiving a vote at TC.
-3 points per vote at TC. Every vote. Ties and revote counted. Hidden Idol invalidations don't count.
-10 AND a big red X goes next to your name if you list a bootee. Get three Xs and You're OUT!

I will be back to make my entry!This is one of my favorite games and I don't think I ever won it. I'm so glad to have another chance to blow it spectacularly by guessing wrong! Can't wait to pit myself against FloPo and the rest!

Well, to be honest, all players are allowed to edit their lists up to airtime.
Also, each week your Safe List will have to be new. (I will use your last valid safe-list, if you miss an entry though. Always a dangerous way to play.)Oh and you don't have to list the non-safe. Almost better if you don't. So a typo doesn't dingya'.

Well I guess I should have changed my picks after all. (I listed the unsafes to make sure I considered everyone, I realize it wasn't necessary.)

Yes, thank you for having a 3 strikes and you're out phase this year!There's no need to see Vince's big nuclear mushroom cloud so early in the season! (I still think of him whenever I'm playing a game here.)

I like the three strike rule as well.I'm even thinking of hosting a buy-out, where you forgo your weekly points just to scrub an X. But I still have to think about it (for at least one more week).
(and after the next boot, I have afeeling there will be more folks interested as well.)

Aren't we good? I think I'll go for the maximum negativity without busting score. Is thee a siggie for that? It could be a bit like the most honest golfer prize that always goes to the highest score.

Yes, there is.
The ABC Red-Ink division is storied and somewhat long on the DAW.
I myself have played for RedInk in almost every season it was offered. suzzee is also a usually devout Red-Inker.
It becomes a much harder game (and slow moving as well.) One where you only pick the alternate target. You pray that your opponents don't list the same name as you do. And the only 'gains' are when you see red.
Losers do what losers do best. And I love my losers.
