TAR Asia 2 started with a non-elimination leg?

Yes, because there are only 10 teams and the producers plan to make about 13 episodes so there are alot of NELs.

Jeez, that means that there's almost as many NELs as elimination legs.......... especially if the finish with the Final 3..... 7 elimination legs, 6 NEL/Superlegs.

Actual route:

Teams travel by bus from Fort Santiago to Pila, Laguna, where they perform a roadblock (plowing a field slalom-style). They then travel back to Manila by bus to get boxes of donations, which they have to distribute at a local school. After this, teams travel to Sta. Ana, Manila where they can choose between Detour options "Heel" or "Wheel". In "Heel", teams, pair up shoes from a large pile. In "Wheel", teams assemble a bicycle. Pit Stop is at Paco Park & Cemetery, the original burial grounds of the Philippines' national hero, Jose Rizal.
