Greetings all. Welcome to the BBRAT, hosted by myself ARW. Thank you for stopping in. Some of you may know what the BBRAT (Big Brother Reality Aptitude Test) is and what fun it can be to be played. Last season of Big Brother, I stopped in to play for a few rounds myself and had a lot of fun trying to guess the outcomes and special games that went into this game. In fact, I had so much fun that I decided to create a similar version for the Survivor Games Message Board Threads. I had a lot of fun doing it, and a lot of message board players enjoyed as well.

One of the players playing my HOME SURVIVOR message board game, was Tribephyl, most of us call him Tribe. Tribe helped me out considerably when it came to helping me with graphics and support. I give credit where credit is due, and I make sure that you all know that I patterned my HOME SURVIVOR game after the BBRAT games Tribe had created and hosted for the past several seasons. I asked him 2 weeks after Survivor had finished for some suggestions on a new game for BB, and not anything like his BBRAT games as that is his and not mine. He responded to me with some personal information as well as some information that I am going to share with you now. Here is what he replied to me: (Keep in mind I edited out some personal stuff he wrote to me, but the following was word for word from two different emails.)

Therefore, I fully grant you hosting abilities to take over the BBRAT for the new season. If you desire.
Go for it! Take the BBRAT! It has a built in game play with options for tons of alternate semi-regular mini-games (at your discretion). It has a built in following, with a varied group of peeps from all over the states. It hosts a fun (and easy) sub-game of winning weekly bonuses, and titles (HOH, Slop-Diet, POV, etc.) based on points won or lost each week. One note, Dear Abby is REALLY good at the game. Oh and DO NOT have a vote for the winner finale.

I also like to add a bit of myself to everything I've done, I fully expect you to do the same.
Now, since the hard parts are out of the way, it's time for me to go ahead and pass it on FULLY to you. I don't want it back. My time and interest has certainly been waning and I've tried to cut it down to just the basics. Failingly at first, but like with all addictions the come down is the hardest part. I am astounded that you find such interest in taking over the bbrat-sitting duties. They are a wonderful bunch of bbrats and I fully trust you with their care. You certainly need no permission from me regarding your addition of sub-games or weekly bonuses. Go for it! Make it your house.
As far as graphics are concerned, I would love to help out as much as I can. Yet as stated, this sabbatical will be taking me away from my normal computer (with Adobe CS5) for an un-discovered amount of time. 2 months sounds promising, as to gathering myself and my belongings in one place, but at this very moment I'm not for sure what the time-line will be.
I have good feelings though, so I will never say "good-bye". Just tata for now.

So there ya have it. Tribe has been going through some difficult times. When I asked him about suggestions for a new game, he decided to hand me the keys to his car. I am honored, I even told that to him and I promised him to do him proudly. I keep his name on the game in his honor, and I hope and pray that you will enjoy the BBRAT with me as your new host. How’s come I feel like Tribe is Bob Barker and I am Drew Carey?

I promised him that I would not make this an elimination type game. You will never be asked to vote out any BBRAT player during this entire season, or any future season for that matter. All the rules are exactly the same. Most of the titles, catch phrases, and game names are the same. For the most part the game is exactly the same in reguard to questions, BBRAT HOH, Slop penalties, and BB Mayhem bonuses. I have made some minor adjustments to scores (I hate odd numbers like 3 or 7, or 8. I much prefer 10, 15, 25, etc), and I have added a couple of bonuses not seen before on the BBRAT. I have also added my special BB Series bonus question: Who is your favorite Hamster? Folks you can do badly on your questionnaire’s, but if your favorite Hamster does well, believe me your points can sky rocket with this newest feature.

For those of you that experienced my Home Survivor Msg Board Game, you know my style and what to expect. For those of you knew to my posts, I think you will find I try to take all the hard work out of it for you and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy the show with the rest of us. I hate having to scroll through a forest of information looking for the fruit that is the questionnaire, so I use a lot of click buttons that will make information appear and disappear. So you can get directly to what your interested in, weather it be the scores, the questionnaire, or even if you want to look up a rule. The questionnaire itself is a clickable one and when finished I will provide your answers from the questionnaire you just took, and have ready to copy and paste into your reply box. (I have a back up plan for those that will experience any trouble using this feature. Don’t know why it works for most, but not for all.)

There is so much more inside for you to see. All you have to do is click the button below that says Click Here, and you will be able to begin. You will not leave the page and you do not have to wait for it to load, you will simply be able to read all the rules, check out the questionnaire, and eventually check out all the scores.

Introductory Premise:

Welcome BBrat mates. If you have never played before, you may wonder what this is all about. Well, quite simply, this is your chance to show the rest of us what you know, think you might know or if you’re a really good guesser.
Each week I will test your ability to see into the future and predict the weekly winners and losers of (almost) every aspect of the show. Including HOH, Nominations, POV, Re-nominations, Competitions, America's Choice, Coup detat, Eviction and any other thing the producers may throw at us.
Each correct guess will result in points being added to your individual tally. Each weeks tallies will be combined for a grand total and the player with the highest overall grand total score at seasons end, will be crowned "The Biggest BBrat!".
Simple and streamlined. Now, even though it sounds like it's gonna be too easy, I must remind everyone that the answers you give will be for the next weeks events. Not, I repeat, NOT for the events leading up to this weeks Eviction show but for the events covering the following week, beginning with the new HOH and ending with the Elimination show usually 1 week later, unless announced to the contrary. This way, the Live Feed will have no effect upon the test. (Outside of the first week when a couple of things typically become known before the first show airs. Those, I can handle.) From then on...start looking into your crystal balls.
I know this may sound confusing, but I promise it does only at first. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. My door is always open to. Quite quickly, you'll be realizing it's all just a shot in the dark.

The BRATT Rules:

1.) This game is open to new players at all times, please feel free to join in at anytime.
2.) Each questionnaires questions will start with and be based on the new HOH and end with the following eviction, usually from Thursday to Thursday. All of your Questionnaire Answers / Predictions will be made regarding the next weeks episode. Each questions outcome will be determined by the show itself. For instance, if a competiton is held but not aired, in the show (either Sunday, Wednesday or. Thursday), it will not count.
3.) Deadline for all entries will usually be each and every Thursday at 7:59 EST, boardtime, and possibly a couple of other times due to the TV scheduling. But safe to say, it will be due before the Eviction happens, whenever that is. Once in a while because of TV Scheduling, Eviction Schedules and things I can not foresee, changes happen. These changes are usually referred to as "PopQuiz"s. These are held when "suprise" events take control of the house and the producers decide to switch the format from the norm. Depending completely on the show's schedule. I will try to stay right on top of things, if something changes.
4.) Those who make an entry after the POSTED DEADLINE will not be considered.
5.) Those who miss an entry will have to go without gaining any points for the week.
6.) If a vacation or other time-constraint happens, you are allowed to have a proxy-player make your entry for you.
7.) Any player who misses 3 entries in a row will be forced to wear the Big Yellow Banana Suit, and then will be escorted out the front door, and eliminated from the game.
8.) I reserve the right to play along, and you may check at any time to see that I am playing it straight. I may have to excuse myself from playing in a BBMayhem Round from time to time, I promise to keep it fair from my end. Any questions Please ask.
9.) Please don’t take this game that serious, and have as much fun as you can.
10.) Congratulate one another when you see them doing well.
11.) This rule is left open for the "Just-In-Case" clause.
I will try to post the new entry thread every Friday, with an up to date result and scoring section in it.

Questionnaires:

Every week I will post questions covering 4 sections. There will be a variable amount of questions, in each section, from week to week. Each question has its own value.
1. FAVORITE HAMSTER: This is but 1 simple question. Who do you think will be the ultimate Big Brother Winner. This question has multiple opportunities to gain bonus points. The object is to show loyalty to your choice. Try not to change your choice as much as possible as the longer you are loyal to him/her the higher your bonus points will get from week to week. If you change your mind, or if you are forced to change your Favorite Hamster Choice, Your bonus level will return to Level 1. Each week you are loyal and make no changes, you will advance 1 level. The maximum amount of points possible to win from this in just one week is 4 times that of your current bonus level points.
2. POWER POSITIONS: These questions will test your ability to predict the HOHs, POV Winners, Nominees, Evictees, and Non-Evictees, testing your ability to predict the various outcomes of the Competitions.
3. CAUGHT ON CAMERA: These questions will test your ability to predict special interest situations. These questions may change from time to time and may be suited for current situations.
4. BB MAYHEM: The questions asked here will test your abilities in some other form of game/challenge I may have decided to create just for this episode. Note also that the outcomes may have direct effects on other participating BBRAT players, sometimes good and sometimes bad. The BB Mayhem is a Bonus Point Section and is completely up to you if you wish to participate.

Favorite Hamster

Who is Your Favorite Hamster:

YOUR FAVORITE HAMSTER BONUS POINTS: Which House Guest do you think will be told, they are the new Big Brother Winner? This is the person you think has the best chance at winning or at least you hope would. This is where the bonus points come in. In order to get higher bonus scores you need to choose YOUR Favorite Hamster and then stick by them for as long as you can. Every elimination YOUR Favorite Hamster survives is a higher bonus value. Example if you choose House Guest A, and you don’t change your mind for 10 eliminations, your bonus points by this point in the game will be 100 points (or 550 total bonus points collectively). If your Favorite House Guest does well enough you may even get double or even triple the bonus.
You may change your answer to this question anytime you like, especially if that person gets Evicted, until there are only 3 House Guests left. Your Final YOUR PICK choice must be decided before there are only 3 players left in the game. This House Guest will be your Final Choice until the conclusion of the game.

If your Favorite Hamster does not leave the house this week you get your current Bonus Level Points. Plus…
Add Same Level Bonus points if your Favorite Hamster wins HOH.
Add Same Level Bonus points if your Favorite Hamster wins POV.
Add Same Level Bonus points if your Favorite Hamster is Nominated but Does Not get Evicted
Add Same Level Bonus points if your Favorite Hamster wins Food Competition (Doesn’t eat slop.)
Final Bonus: If your Favorite Hamster does not win HOH, Does not play in the Veto competition, Does not get nominated, and Eats Slop, I will double all of your questionnaire points, and not your Bonus Points, as they are already bonus points now aren't they.
WARNING: Changing your Favorite Hamster Pick will make you start back at the beginning scale for the bonus points system. If your House Guest is still in the game by the end of this show you will get the bonus points for the level you are currently on.

Scoring Rules:

1. Favorite Hamster: These are Bonus Points for picking a House Guest that survives a whole week, and may have done something special, example: Winning HOH, POV, or a Food Competition, etc.

2. QUESTIONNAIRES: If you answer a question correctly you will receive the points alloted in the parentheses for each question. These points are subject to change but not without notice. If you are wrong with your choices you will receive 0 points. If one of your answers contains a previously evicted HG, it will be worth 0 points. If the question can't be judged, it will be voided. Keep in mind, if your Favorite Hamster does not win anything all week, does not play in POV, and does not get nominated, your Questionnaire points will be doubled, with exception to your Favorite Hamster Bonus points as these are already Bonus Points.

3. BBRAT HOH: Every week, the BRATT player with the highest weekly points will Become the new BBRAT HOH. Other than a nice yet fleeting title, this player(s) will receive 5 bonus points, and a SLOP PASS on the next Questionnaire.

4. SLOP PASSES: Slop Passes can be won 2 ways. The first way is to become the BBRAT HOH winner. The second way is to win one of the BB Mayhem Challenges that has the reward of a SLOP PASS. SLOP PASSSES can only be used once. Its purpose is to give a wrongly answered question, points awarded anyways. These points are not to be determined until after scoring has been completed. Once the scores are tallied, the lowest point question not answered correctly by the BBRAT player(s) in question will be given a pass, and therefore receive those points. Once a player has won a SLOP PASS its reward will be not be given until the following Questionnaire has been scored. It is from that Questionnaire that those points will be based from.

5. SLOP PENALTY: Every week, all BBRAT players with less than half of the BRATT HOH's weekly score, will be put on Slop. This comes in the form of a -5 point penalty. Neither of which will taste good.

No man, the thanks go out to you. Had it not been for the work you started, we (meaning the rest of us) would not have a game like this to play. You honored me with your choice to allow me to take up your game and allow the rest of us to continue playing.
Further more, you honor us by playing along, this time as a contestant and not the owner. I am glad to see you are still here and not absent. This just wouldnt be the same without you.

To answer your question you may of course join in. This responce you just gave was for the first week. However, since the first weeks events are already in play, I can not accept this questionnaires responses.
I shall be posting my next questionnaire in the next 24 hours. Just about finished putting the final touches to it. No penalty for joining late tho.
