The zipline challenge was a choice for a Detour: Dare or Stair. In Stair, teams would have had to climb the 45 storeys of Suntec Tower 3, go back down, then climb 45 storeys up Suntec Tower 4 to receive their clue. No one chose this Detour.
The balut-eating challenge took place in front of a busy church in Manila, Philippines.
The pitstop was Fuerza de Santiago in Manila, which is the ruins of a defense fortress built for conquistadors during the Spanish occupation of the Philippines some 300+ years ago.
