"Cupid - E3 (7-23-03) Summary"

The guys were split into groups of four for their group dates with Lisa. One guy from each group was sent home right after the date.

Hank, Cory, Scott, Ken and Dominic, "The Jocks". They did some ballroom dancing with Lisa. Cory had some fancy dance moves but Lisa didn't like how he seemed to be showing off for the men and not her. Bye Bye Cory.

Evan, Robert, Rob, Dain and Darren, "The Serious Group". They had to sing karaoke (songs were Born to be Wild and Pretty Woman). Pretty funny. Dain was sent home because he was too serious for Lisa's tastes. He didn't look happy.

Omar, Paul, Paco, Joe and Scott, "The Creative Types". They had to shoot rifles (skeet shoot???). Omar was sent home because Lisa thought he was more worried about his looks. Too bad, he was kinda cute.

Zach, Nate, Ben, Renda and Mark, "The Diamonds in the Rough". They had makeovers which was really funny to watch. Zach (the cherub guy) was sent home because Lisa thought he didn't reveal anything about himself. I'm glad he's gone. He was weird.

Then, they had a pool party. Robert (the Austrian guy) was so aggressive with Lisa. He was poking at her bikini top and saying how easy would be to undo it. He definitely has "stalker" written all over him. In the end, Paco was sent home (he's the guy with all the tatoos). She should have sent Evan home after he asked Lisa's friends to sit in his lap.

The next morning, she had to get rid of 5 more guys. She had a little one-on-one with each guy then made her decision. I'm surprised at most of her picks. Scott, Ben, Nate, Mark, and Darren were sent home. Now, they are down to 10 - Robert, Hank, Paul, Ken, Joe, Dominic, Renda, Scott, Rob and Evan.

Next week, America starts voting off one man at a time and I'm sure we'll be seeing more of the lovely Laura. Ooooooooooooooh goody.

This is great Schnookie. There are so many guys I never did get all their names straight (just the ones I liked, heh-heh). Things should get interesting once 'America' starts to vote them off. How is that going to work, do you know? A 1-900 number to call? I'm very curious to see how CBS does it. For the record, I have my money on Hank. He seems like a real nice, sincere guy who totally likes Lisa. He may be too normal for her, though.

And about the summaries. I wanna do a summary too. I love this show! Lisa is perfect, and makes the whole concept just work. Can I do next Wednesday?

AyaK--please?

From the Cupid website:

Beginning in episode four, Lisa will get to know each of the 10 suitors better through a series of dates. During these episodes, Lisa's friends will react to the filmed dates live, as they continue to judge whose intentions are honorable. Next, America will get the chance to play Cupid by casting their votes to protect Lisa from the men they perceive are wrong for her, in the hopes of steering her towards her ideal mate. While viewers decide who they believe is Lisa's perfect match, the guy with the least amount of votes will be eliminated each week.

Hey Swami, if you want to do the summary for tonight's show go ahead. I didn't think anyone would be interested so I just jumped in and said I would do it. Up to you.

I agree with you about Hank. He looks so sweet. It'll be interesting now to get to know them better. Easier to keep track of 10 guys. Also can't wait to see what kind of trouble Robert gets himself into LOL. I think I'll call him the "Termidater" from now on

*can't wait to see a summary of this show by Swami*

...will shamelessly steal the name 'Termidater' and use it in her summary of tonight's show. Thanks, Schnookie. Actually I was planning to be 99 & 44/100% straight in my summary. Or maybe not...

How can I refuse? But you should ask Schnookie first -- she offered to do tonight's show earlier this week.

So, either Swami can do tonight and Schnookie can do next week, or vice versa. I'd rather let you two decide, if that's all right with you.

All settled with Swami. She'll do the summary for tonight's show and I'll do next week. We then may alternate unless other peeps show up interested in doing a summary.

AyaK - Schookie and I already discussed this via email & agreed to summarize like she said above.

Can you say Schnookie-Swami tag team 10x really fast?
