Danny & Oswald are broke. They spent all of their money at the end of the last leg. Each team was given $73 at the beginning of the race, and their first ferry ride cost them the equivalent of $50. They sold their Yield to Dustin and Kandice and Yielded Eric and Danielle.

Truth in advertising: it was Oswald's bench after all.

Roadblock: run around the perimeter of the 61st floor on the Macau Tower once, then take the world's longer permanently-placed skyjump to the ground. D&K complete it first (order drawn before going up the elevator) and head for a garden to search for the next clue. E&D arrive. Eric immediately begins to wish horrible fates on D&O for no real apparent reason. Except maybe that hourglass.

How come nobody's ever even a little bit flattered when they're yielded?

I mean, I understand the frustration, but it never even enters the racers' minds that the yield indicates that others are afraid of them!

And Danny & Oswald need to just own up to it -- none of this carp about "we didn't want to" wah wah wah.

YOU offered it to the BQs, they took you up on it. Live with it.

They were right behind you anyway - so if you hadn't done it for them, they would have had to put their own faces on the yeild board.

If memory serves, teams can only use the yield once during a season, so Dustin & Kandace would not have been able to yield Eric and Dani again.

I drove one of those Mini Mokes in Macau about ten years ago. They're easy to drive, like a buggy. Maybe they've got a maintenance problem after all these years, but it could just be the driver. The bus is waiting for you to move, ladies!

(My work partner and I won a Macau road rally in one of those things!)

Has TAR been supplying them with auto adaptors for Charla to drive? I don't think so. So it doesn't matter if Charla learned to drive stick. It does matter that Witchface can't drive.

They should've said that Eric & Danielle were Marked for Non-Elimination this week. Wouldn't it have been lame if they would've finished in last place again?

...Although, in that case, they could've eliminated E/D and had a non-elim for the F3.

So -- maybe if you hit two NELs in a row, they multiply the penalties together, and you either finish first or you have to wait for 900 minutes?

I don't get it. With the current NEL penalty, stringing two in a row makes no sense.

I suspect shenanigans, sort of like how whenever a well-liked/entertaining team is in a position to be eliminated it seems to be a NEL... a lot of people would be turned off by a Beauty Queen/Schmirna/Boobie finale.

I'm guessing that had Danielle/Eric not hauled ##### on this leg and survived their penalty, they would have been eliminated. Which wouldn't have been that sad, really...

I cannot believe D & O did not beg for money before actually going through with the yield!! They had all that time at the tower to try and get some cash, but no, they went through and did the Beauty Queen's dirty work. Why did they do it, they seemed bothered by the move all through the leg. Anyway, I was glad it was a non elim, I want D & O to win. I liked them from way back in season 2.

The Yield Queens lied to Eric and Danielle, which also bugged me. Like heck they said to yeild "anyone but us". STUPID MOVE.

I thought for sure next week would be the finale, so another week is a nice surprise!!

while i am glad that d/o are still in it, danny is certainly being frustrating. after a big lead and a yield they have no one to blame but themselves for the position they are in.
still don't understand why people don't get that the yield is a valid part of the race. acting like people have stolen their first born.
senseless to have a nel with a team mfe. if they came in last would they just get another penalty?
glad c/m are relying on their brains to get thru ;)
