And he actually said "It better not be a spelling mistake." Just not his day, I guess.
Bet he regrets skipping all those spelling classes in school.

Yes. And then, just to be sure, he didn't *check* that it wasn't a spelling thing.Really, they just weren't on their game this leg. As much as I dislike them, I don't expect errors like this from them.

And it was Lamber who wrote down the place names onto a paper for Rob to paint the names onto the signs... why didn't she check the spelling as well?Stupid is as stupid gets... good riddance.

I've seen that spelling before but only by people who meant Philippians.

I know I am taking the conspiracy thresd too seriously, but I think something stinks here. I don't buy the mispelling, esp. when Rob made that comment. The two of them have played too well to play this badly, all of a sudden.I think it is highly likely they threw it.
(To film "Against the Odds"? Who knows.)

I think it is highly likely they threw it.That's an interesting thought. Would the producers reward them for throwing the game, or did they just want that nice vacation in sequesterville. Heck, DH and I like the idea of going on the race, just for that tropical down time when you get booted off.

At first I was going to disagree because Rob seems too self-centered and greedy to do such a thing. Additionally they did not look so tired yet that the race was becoming a drag to run.
BUT!!!!!!!
The other mistakes were silly ones too! Rob did not look at his compass to confirm he was going in the right direction, and when sorting letters he did not seem to even start out going thru them one by one - grabbing more than one at a time.Maybe you are right.
