Maybe this has been touched on, but I couldn't find anything about it... The other night I noticed that on the counter top of the booth where the judges sit there were what appeared to be cut-outs with pieces of glass and computer monitors underneath. It also appeared as though they were all (Simon especially) reading off these monitors.

It started me thinking that maybe they are fed information which they can use in their evals? Anyone else thinking the same thing???

I think they are watching the TV feed to see what the viewer is seeing and how the singer does with the camera.

They are feeding Simon all of his hilarious metaphores so he doesn't forget any. The screens basically just look like this:
