Secondly, I'd like to encourage all of you to STAY INVOLVED with this board even after the finale airs. Ok, enough of that.....

It's fun to go early in the thread for the last episode. All the "logic" indicates that Keith makes the final two because he is the least-popular survivor left. But the "spoilers" do not. AK reminds us of Maralyn's comment that she knew which of the final two she would vote against. She says in her chat that Keith and Tina were her two best friends in the outback; she's still close to Tina and went to Keith's Detroit party. Also we remember the pictures of Keith and Lis' headdress in the opening sequence. And I love the picture volmel found of Colby and Tina. Sorry, but it's time for the chef to get sliced, diced, and sauteed.

I have a harder time sorting out the jury vote. But I like Alicia, Jerri, Amber and Nick as a voting majority for Colby. Tina's only sure vote is Keith. On Friday morning, Colby will be one very rich young man.

I heard the Ellipsiiis person with the inside scoop says Tina and Colby are the final 2 (my Tina/Colby theory will stand). I think Tina gets final immunity and takes Colby with her.

Based on face time throughout the series...and Burnett saying that this was the result that he was looking for in the first survivor.

Tina is flying under the radar, yes, but I still feel as if her character has not been developed as well as Keiths or Colbys. Not much, at all, is known about her.

Reason why this will not happen. Quote that Nick and COLBY went to the ranch after bootage.

Reasons why it will happen. Colby immunity challenge strength. Tina-Colby bond. MB statement that we will like the winner this time combined with the lockbox. Most people like both Tina and Colby. Colby is definitely a good spokesman for the future Survivors.

Ovewhelming why it will (IMHO).

I still think Tina wins immunity but I have begun to believe that she brings Colby and not Keith.

I'm voting early today since I highly doubt that the Early Show will give us any clues to go on. I am basing this pick, as I have since mid season, on all the spoilers that Tina wins and working my way backwards. There is no way that Tina can afford to take Colby with into the final two. She has shown that loyalties to these people aren't worth risking the million, so I know that her loyalty to Colby won't mean crap when it comes down to it.

And why am I so convinced Tina wins? There seem to be many spoilers out there for each of the final three, saying that each of them wins. Way back before Survivor 2 aired, I recall hearing that a woman wins it. I didn't think it could be Tina til the merger. There seem to be the most Colby or Tina wins spoilers and MB's comment that we'll like the winner this time, leads me to believe it can't be Keith...not to mention that the jury would have to have been on crack at the Ranch to vote for Keith. I think Colby doesn't win this IC because, heck, MB wants a dramatic loss for Colby, the God of IC's. I can hear JP now saying to the Colbster, "You were on a winning streak with Immunity. You lost the most important one. How does that loss of security feel?" I think Tina may pull this IC out and get to take her pick of her final two companion. Colby will know it's over for him at the point, he understands the game.

If it pans out, I can't wait to see if T.Betty or I gets the jury votes right on the PTTE thread! I'll probably cash in on some bragging rights if at least my boot order picks are right. If they are wrong, I'll hang my head in shame and let you all poke sticks at me while calling me names.

Colby finally loses immunity and whoever wins the immunity kicks him out since he's probably a bigger threat in the final 2. Then Tina destroys Keith in the final vote - how crazy would it be if it was unanimous? well, we shall see.

I had been convinced for some time that it would be Keith/Tina in the final two. But MB has shown us so much of how Keith is disliked by jury members, there would be no suspense at all if Keith is in final two. The suspense build up lately (such as it is) is in how Colby will vote - his "dilema" about who is most deserving, his comment about loyalty to Tina, his dislike of Keith. So when Colby whens IC (again), the mystery is there as to who he will boot. And finally, he chooses based on loyalty and who deserves it more (Tina) rather than taking the sure win (Keith). And now there truly is some suspense as to the final survivor.

As I look back on my sophomore year at the Mark Burnett School of Editing, I am struck by the number of times Our Esteemed Founder tells us the truth first and then tries to misdirect us closer to the end of the episode.

The Founder has also hit us over the head with Colby's "heartrenching" dilemma of keeping someone he likes vs. keeping someone he thinks he can beat, which says to me that Colby will get to make the decision.

First, Colby told us his game with Keith was done, and then he did his soliloquy of nice person vs. beatable person #1. In the next episode, he tells us that his loyalty is only to Tina, then we hear S-O-N-P v. B-P #2. I think that when push comes to shove, he is nervous that he might be wrong and lose to Keith in a final vote, which would bother him way too much. He makes the illogical decision to guarantee that Keith can't win by not taking him to the final 2. Luckily for The Colbster, it works out anyway in the final vote.

Hope there are some changes in the editing for S3 -- the ol' MB School is getting dull.

Strategically for Tina, I think it would have been a bad move for her to vote out Elisabeth *unless* Colby promised her that he would take her to the Final 2 if he won immunity. So I am going with the K-C-T final as well.

I have no good reasoning behind my picks. I think that both Tina and Keith have a good shot at winning the final IC out of sheer determination if nothing else and both of them would be foolish to let Colby into the final 2.

Why Keith to win? I have noticed a change in his demeanor or at least in the editing. He alone looks vulnerable and underdog-ish. He has been a stumbling fool the past few weeks, and a more human side has emerged. Yeah he's still arrogant but he needs the money more than Tina and...I always root for the underdog. Colby is just too "golden boy."

Two reasons. The Ep1 analysis 'spoiler' and the offshore betting 'spoiler'. Tina takes home the million! Tina hasn't made a mistake yet and she's not about to start now with the whole enchilada in the balance. She's taking Keith to F2. Colby is booted since he cannot win the final IC, as it's going to be an ENDURANCE challenge... there are two hours to be filled, afterall. Tina wins the final IC and knocks out Colby. Here ya go Colby, "That knocking you hear is the cleaning lady (Tina)... it's time for you to checkout." Don't forget, the one you trusted the most (Tina) is going to betray you royally. Tina rules! As for story arc shyt... Colby's played out last week and tomorrow night it'll be Tina's coming full circle. Go Tina!

I think the final immunity challenge will be specially designed in no specific favor of any one Survivor...I think it will incorperate the three elements of the show..outwitting, outplaying, and outlasting. So I think it's going to cover both mental and physical aspects (and judging by the 2 hours of show, it's gonna be a looonnnng one) . This is the one loose end in my theory. But I think Tina wins this...and the Cobster finally bites the dust. It's only obvious Keith goes to final 2, why on Earth people are saying he's voted out next is beyond me. Maybe they know something that I don't. Maybe they have 20/20 insight on what's going to actually happen and be acclaimed geniuses on this board until next season.....or maybe they're just naive.
But come on, if you were Tina or Colby, wouldn't you want Keith to go against the jury with? It's common sense! Gee whiz....anways, once we get to the final two, we have the jury. Jerri is a shoe in to vote Tina to win. So is Amber, because Amber is Jerri's bi+©#. I think Nick is going to vote Tina as well. Colby votes Keith to win, as he probably is bitter that he's been stabbed in the back by Tina. Elisabeth votes Keith to win, because she appears to dislike him on Letterman and such, and since Liz is being perceived as to hating Keith on Letterman and such, and usually in cases like that it's just the obvious. Rodger? See: Amber. I think Nick and Alicia stick with Kucha as well and vote Keith.
So, there ya go. I could be wrong. But probably not.

Tina may not need the money, but she deserves to win. Colby wom the challenges, but Tina got through without a single vote!!

The winner of the final IC decides the final 2 and it makes sense, as reported, that it will not be a physical challenge. Some sort of endurance challenge would be consistent with last season and also put the final contestants on a level playing field. That means that Tina has a 66% chance of making the final 2 against Keith, and probably a fifty fifty chance of being selected if Colby were to win immunity.

As far as the MB comment regarding us liking the outcome; that could refer to either Colby or Tina, but not Keith.

If Tina wins Final Immunity (the only one that really counts), she will have played the perfect game and end up with a total of ZERO votes cast against her.

Id like to see her win and take Keith with her to the final two and win in a unamimous vote to complete the perfect game...

Keith getting booted first: I think I've been clear about my reasons for this. MB made a point of telling Australian TV that the final challenge was not physical:

which leads me to think Colby wins it (why say anything unless you're trying to deflect attention from the Colbster?) and takes Tina to the finals.

There is virtually no spoiler evidence regarding the winner. But we know that Tina's husband said they was happy with what she earned on the show. This seems like a strange quote if she won the million (of COURSE you were happy, you dolt). And it seems to me that Burn-it has been trying to present Colby as the REAL good guy in this pair -- conflicted about booting Lis, sentimental, loves his mom (maybe too much?), Tina would love her daughter to marry a boy like Colby (as long as he doesn't pass out in puddles of his own vomit too often ---EEEWWWW!), needs the bucks (has never had a new car before).

Will America like the winner? Sure, because it's Colby Donaldson, the all-American young man.

Without knowing anything more about the final challenge, Colby
is the most logical pick to win the IC, since he's probably in
the best shape of the 3 people because he was able to eat better
food from his previous reward challenge wins. This will keep him
at an advantage both physically and mentally for the next
challenge.

The question is who he will take with him to the final 2. It
seems obvious that he should take Keith to the final 2 with him
since Keith will probably be the easier person to beat. But I'm
thinking that he actually take Tina with him to the final 2
because of his earlier statement about his game is with Tina now.
I think he has a pack with Tina to be with each other in the
final 2. Maybe the reason MB didn't show us Colby's reaction
to Tina/Keith's vote for Amber because that would have tipped
the viewer to this agreement between Colby and Tina.

I think the other ten folks already voting for this combo have done a pretty good job of outlining the reasons. Since I'd be shocked to see The Early Show show anything, might as well post this now and then write the official pick posting tomorrow. ...actually if someone else wants to take a shot at writing the pick summary copy, that'd be good too

Basically an unstoppable object is about to meet an inmovable force... Colby's going to finish off his immunity streak and run headlong into his alliance with Tina and the jury will decide the results. And Colby really has "played the game" better.

One reason I don't think I didn't see noted much was lack of development of Tina's character -- personally I don't think we've seen a lot of solo interviews with Tina developing her motivation -- certainly not has much as that of Keith and Colby. ...and at his heart, Burnett still is a storyteller

I have to stick to my PTTE. There are a couple of wild cards here:

First is who wins immunity. Will Colby keep up his streak and break Kelly's record?

Second is the jury vote. Who will Alicia vote for as she had little bonding time with final three?

To the first point I think that all good streaks have to come to an end and who knows if Colby would have been voted off if he hadn't won the last four IC's. There could be a smoldering fire there.

To the second point, Alicia will be influenced by the other Kuchas more than Jerri (at least I think so) so I think she will lay into Tina. I don't think that Alicia's vote will be the decding factor though.

With very little spoiler info going into the final, I am still clinging to the "Colby on the ranch comment" and, of course, Tina's husband would be satisified with money, but how much will it be, $1M or $100k.

BTW, good luck Weltek on your jury prediction. The only reason I thought Amber voted with Jerri is that she was making some comments in her interviews about how she made waves at the final TC. That leads me to believe that Jerri pumped her up going into the vote with the way Jerri wanted the vote to go.

MB said we would like the winner, and frankly, I don't like Keith, despite the "peas and carrots" thing. He's been made out to be a loner. He's been arrogant, and I don't think he cares as much about his fellow survivors as Colby and Tina do (or make us believe they do). I have to believe Tina will be in the final two for Jerri to get to get back at her for "backstabbing". And the whole thing has been the "Colby Show". We're supposed to like this guy who's never had a new car and who loves his mom. Sooooo...

I have Tina as my winner pick. And my heart is still with Tina. But my head is telling me to prepare for a Colby win. Last year it was the Rich show, this year the Colby show (after Jerri left).

I just hope that if Colby wins it all, that he doesn't win the final IC. If he sweeps 5 ICs in a row, then wins it all, it will be hard to stomach. The reason I could accept Rich last year was because he was brought along because Kelly thought she could beat him. Even Rich and Rudy thought Kelly could beat Rich.

I think for Tina and Colby, it comes down to: sure you want to win, but in case you don't, who do you want to lose to? Colby would likely easily beat Keith, but on the off chance he didn't, could he live with himself if he hands Keith the million? I think not. Same goes for Tina. They are the final 2, and the editing points to Colby winning.

Colby wins IC. After vacillating on this a lot, I think he takes Tina not only out of allegiance, but because it would be worse having her on the jury swaying them than facing her with non-factor Keith arguing against him. As I stated in an earlier post this week, I just don't feel like we know Tina well enough for her to win. Folks, Colby has become the Richard-esque narrator of the tribe and voting (and not just himself, like Keith) the last few weeks, and while that's in part because of his reward wins, I think it's also so we know the winner and his thought process during the game. Also, for what it's worth, I think that most people won't "like the winner this time around" if T or K wins. There. 6 hours to showtime and I'm honestly very uncertain, let's see how this holds up.

At least this is how it ought to be. I just can't entertain how Colby would take the huge risk of losing out to Tina with Keith there. Friendship worth more than money? Risk of Tina booted playing Colby's betrayal to the jury (or vice-versa)? Come on, we are talking about a million dollars here! But if it is indeed a Colby/Tina final, then this will only lend weight to the argument this game was a fix from the beginning. I ask again: with $1m staring you in the face, would you choose Colby or Tina over Keith? I thought so.

I can't really beleive Colby is going to let anyone beat him at the Final IC. He has won so many times,and this is the big one! No way he is going to let this slip through his hands. If anyone does beat him, it will be Tina. And this is when we find out just how tight their alliance is (or isn't). Buh-bye Keith!

For weeks, I've secretly assumed Tina would take it--but now my gut tells me SII is going to maximize its PR potential by wrapping up a win by the All-American Colbster.

Besides, Dalton, AK, SB, and others have validated this for me--and I'm certainly not going to make an ass of myself by following some clown down the garden path to the wrongest choice possible! Fool me once, shame on you--fool me twice, well. . . you know how it goes.

If I'm wrong, Tina WILL win--whatever. Just so Keith the Karrotmeister goes first.

Basically, I think Keith will pull a Richie Rich this IC and drop out first, thinking that whoever wins will bring him to the final 2. Thought this b/c of the milk ad with Keith glaring to the side at Colby and Tina. Colby wins IC YET AGAIN, and takes Tina with him, sticking to his word. Tina wins 4-3.
I picked Tina to win based on how she was edited (ex. dog that didn't bark), her comment "Let the games begin" which appeared in the field guide, and Burn-its comments in the field guide on "the mom".
Picked Colby to win IC cause he's won practically every IC, and my dog's name is Colby and he told me he'd win the last IC.
Also, EBT pick this order and I beleive em.

It's been fun! I'll definitely be around after the big finale...I'll have to do something while I'm at work!! HA!

I'm always afraid to commit to the official vote, but I did put this in a post last night after seeing Burnett trying so hard to make us think Colby has level playing field for this immunity.

It's all been said above and on other threads, and said well. I wrote down the names of everyone who voted this combo and if I have to go down in flames, it's in pretty great company.

The main arguments that give me pause come from tonedef and desert rhino. Betraying Mom, that's a strong hint, plus I really feel Tina hasn't gotten enough face time; MB has just given us next to nothing about what's in her heart, except for her one speech about wanting the good guys to win--and she voted Lis and Rodger off anyway.

I believe that MB played a game with himself where he edited this only knowing the Final Two, and he ought to have let us get to know both the candidates really well. The way we feel we know them is through the interviews straight to the camera, not through interactions with others or speeches at TC. I think that's an illusion, but it's a good tool and MB has used it a lot with Keith and Colby.

I have now argued against myself for Tina/Keith/Colby, but I also believe MB edited for suspense, and I side with dangerkitty that Tina and Colby are the only close match-up from what we've seen. Suspense vs. facetime, that is the plot question...

Wait: Aya K's theory of Final 2 missing from Opening Credits teaser figures. Great theory. Must be right. Whew!

Frankly, I'm voting against Colby because I live in Dallas - I don't want to listen to all the local radio and TV stations fawn over him for the next 6 weeks plus he reminds me too much of my ex-husband. (accent, head toss, mama complex etc). He simply cannot win!

Honestly - I'm thinking Alicia may vote Tina over Colby - but it's a toss up. It'll be 4-3 either way.

TINA wins IC and KEITH gets BOOTED.

I hate to pick against Colby - which I have done alot lately with bad results - but I'll try again...

My strongest evidence for Tina is the way she was featured (or not featured) in the first episode. Also I think Keith will take her with him if he wins the challenge - and this gives her a 2/3's of a chance of making the final two...

I still hope Keith somehow wins - I've liked him ever since they did the "grasshopper rodeo" episode...

Well, I'm not going to repeat what I said before, except to say that I'm not feeling too confident with this lineup, but I think Keith may pull a Richard Hatch on us in the final two. It just seems too obvious that he's going to be the loser. We'll see!

I am still holding to it that Keith is the favorable opponent for the final two. If I were Colby that is who I would choose anyway. So with that being said I think that Colby will yet again win immunity, and will therefor win the whole thing when he brings Keith to the final two.

Alright, here goes:

First lets start with the Immunity Challenge.

The reason I think Colby is a shoe-in for the IC is because of the storyarc we have seen over the last few episodes....we have been set up for the Colbster to make his big decision between who deserves to win vs who makes it easier for him to win the money. We haven't seen Keith or Tina talking about these things for a reason.....they won't be the ones making that choice.

So, what does Colby do???

The smart thing to do is to boot Tina and win the million against Keith, but spoilers point to a different conclusion.

First of all, MadDog's comments were a dead giveaway...her two favs were Tina and Keith so how could she know who she would vote for if BOTH made the final 2....that is another reason why Colby has to win IC tonight, so he can get into the fial 2 and make that choice easy for MadDog.

I don't put much stock into Tina's husbands commments...I don't think we can get much from them.

But, MB saying we will be happy with the result means that Keith can't win...and the only way that works (if you beleive the Lock Box) is if he is NOT in the final 2.

SO, despite the logic of the other choice, I think Colby is gonna stick with the only alliance he has had this entire time, the TEXTEN alliance....maybe he is afraid that he will be screwed with the jury if he backstabs Tina (Ayak's theory I think)

So, Colby tries the "Best in the game" argument against the Jury;

First, the easy ones:

Keith: "I hate you Colby so I'm voting for my Outback sister"

Rodger: "I love Jesus and so does Tina, so that's good enough"

So, that's 3 votes for Tina.
