Previously on Survivor; The newly merged Tribe Opa was faced with its first difficult decision...
The next player voted out would be on the jury so that made some people nervous...
The immunity challenge was won in record time:
"Mike wins immunity!"

When Opa arrived at Tribal Council, the decision had been made: 10 are left; who will be voted out next?

Each season, Survivor gives a second chance at challenges. Maybe you excelled, maybe you had problems but this will give you a chance to do it over.


I'm sure you remember this little guy:


Well, he wants to play once more. However, to make it more "fun" you will have to kick the ball closest to 1000meters without going over.

This time, you will be playing individually to give immunity to your Survivor so I ask you to PM me your result. Make sure you have the image saved on your computer and, if you are the winner, I will ask you to send me that image by PM.

I am not sure if an image can be uploaded to a PM (Tribe or agman or someone else may know) so I will be giving my e-mail address to the winner. That way, I know you will be able to send me that picture.

You have until tomorrow at 7:00PM to hit that ball...but not too hard.

funny story...so not related to survivor but the monkey thing totally reminded me of this story. When my boy was about 1 1/2 or 2 yrs old, we were on a drive. i saw a cow and asked him what cows said, he said moo. i asked him what sound moms make and he said "nuttin" then i asked him what sounds daddies make and he said "ooh ooh aah aahh - like monkeys!" my son was born a comedian!

If you do want to give immunity to another Survivor than your own, you can include that decision immediately in your IC answer. For example, your PM to me could read: My answer is XYZ and, if I win, I would like to give immunity to ___ instead of my own Survivor.

If you realize only afterwards that you’d rather have someone else have immunity, you will have to proceed quickly before I open TC. Once TC is opened, it would be too late for you to make a change, either wanting to give it up or suddenly decide to keep it.

You cannot play directly for someone else. If you win, I will say that your Survivor won immunity. Then, when I open TC, I will have Jeff “ask” the IC winner if he/she wants to give up immunity and I would post your pre-determined choice: "I want to give immunity to____"

However, you can give your answers to someone else. That has been done on Survivor (Judd gave Rafe the answer to a word puzzle) I may just let everyone know you did it if it comes to my ears though because everyone did hear Judd talking to Rafe.

ETA: When I say that you cannot play directly for someone else, the jurors aren't concerned with this. They are always playing directly for other Survivors.

You all have been assigned a random order and Mike will get us started:

Mike steps forward, puts the ball on the line, takes a few steps backwards then goes for it => 941m
"Nice going" says Jeff.

Ian is the next to go. He looks confident but his kick ends up at 836m
The Survivors give him a polite golf clap.

It’s now Sandra’s turn and a guy yells out: “Hit it like it was Russell’s head”.
“Thanks for the help” answers Sandra as she proceeds to kick the ball to take the lead: 976m

Next comes Mick who isn’t intimidated at all. He steps forward and kicks the ball all the way to the 986m line.
He gives Probst a smile.

Undaunted, Aras takes his turn and his rewarded by reaching the 991m line.
“Aras takes the lead” yells Jiffy.

After a while, we are down to 3 Survivors:

Todd calculates wind speed, inclination of the field, winds up and kicks it to 999m!
“Clap! Clap! Clap!"
"Todd is in the lead.”

Next is Katie and despite a good effort, she sees her ball stop at 979m

Only Greg is left. He rolls the ball in his hands for a while and eyes the line in the distance. Putting the ball down, he counts his paces back precisely like a Football kicker.
Raising his hand, he moves forward and kicks the ball with his left foot. The ball rolls and rolls and stops…exactly on the 1000m dot!

“Greg wins immunity” says Jeff amid cheers from the other players.
The cheering stops when Jeff tells them: “I will see you all later at Tribal Council where one of you will be going home.”

Thursday 7:00PM. I keep forgetting to write that but it should always be the same:

- IC begins Thursday at 8:00PM
- Challenge results Friday 7:00PM
- TC opens Friday 8:00PM
- TC Results Sunday 7:00PM

- Next IC begins Monday 8:00PM
- IC Results Tuesday 7:00PM
- TC opens Tuesday 8:00PM
- TC Results Thursday 7:00PM

The beginning times at least won't change. The result times may be posted earlier if I get all the IC answers, if I have an IC winner or if I get all the TC votes early.
(Note that it always gives you about an hour to decide if you will be giving up immunity)

I do.

Just add 12 hours to the board time during DST, and 13 hours if it's not. Which means that I play most of the challenges half-asleep. Which means that I will probably never win one.

The jury has just as much right to a secret ballot as the rest of you. If I posted half votes, you would know which players the jury likes and dislikes with too much accuracy. So, while I count the jury votes as worth 0.5 vote, their ballot will be posted as full votes...if they are posted at all.

In other words, there were 4 possibilities in the last vote:

- Georgianna's vote wasn't shown

- G voted for Katie. The actual total was 4.5-2-2 with 2 hidden votes but then neither Mick or Aras could get more than 4 votes (Why show 4.5 votes when 5 has the same result?)

-G voted for either Mick or Aras. Then the vote was actually 5-2-1.5 but then again, why show a 1.5 when 2 does the same thing?

I will always round up the half votes in such a way to reflect the actual end result. For example: A 5 to 4.5 split would be presented as 5 to 4 just like a 4.5 to 4 split. A 5.5 to 4 split could also be presented as 5 to 4 but I could also go with 6 to 4. In all cases, the player with 4 votes is out so the actual 0.5 doesn't matter.
(I know some really want to know the details but you won't get more out of production than that)
