Official website clues:

1. A never before seen twist shocks the racers and causes the teams to join forces?
2. One team starts the leg with a huge handicap, will they be able to push towards the front and avoid elimination?
3. A supenseful and emotional finish causes rivals to battle neck-in-neck to the mat.

I think an "emotional finish" means one of the backpack leaves. I can't see anyone emotional and upset if any of the other 3 teams leaves.

or the backpack all comes in and is saved once again. And that could also be an emotional finish. They made and are excited they are not eliminated. Didn't they have emotional finish this episode.

I suspect that this might be Dustin & Kandice and whoever they are supposed to be teamed up with from the Six Pack alliance. The term "rivals" definitely doesn't suggest that #3 refers to two alliance members.

I'm guessing that it's Dustin/Kandice and Lyn/Karlyn racing to the mat. If the Intersection requires teams to work together for awhile, this might be the most organic setup:

Tyler/James & Rob/Kimberly
Erwin/Godwin & David/Mary
Dustin/Kandice & Lyn/Karlyn

I could be wrong, but from the wording of the preview, it suggests that the two other Six Pack teams end up together. That setup doesn't necessarily mean that either Lyn/Karlyn or Dustin/Kandice are eliminated this week, since David/Mary's penalty might still knock them out.

It could easily be Dustin/Kandice with Erwin/Godwin too, I suppose. I wouldn't be surprised at all.

The AOL preview clearly state that the Cho brothers are teamed up with D/K.

Hmmm. Then I guess it might be Erwin & Godwin who race Dustin & Kandice to the finish mat. Unless, of course, there's some mixing around after the mysterious Intersection. Either way, I'm guessing that Dustin & Kandice end up racing someone to the finish. I could be completely wrong in that assumption, though.

All I know is that I don't want to be on a team working with Lyn/Karlyn. What a set of mouths. Worse, they even think that they are good players and don't seem to realize/acknowledge that the alliance is what is keeping them in the race.

If the race was at it normal 'dog-eat-dog' stage, which it is usually by now these two would be dog meat.

And thier mouthing off has made real hostilites between them and Dustin/Kandice & Tyler/James. If there is a time-out in the future, I know who is going to get thier picture pasted on the board.

Looks like David and Mary are working with Lyn and Karlyn. There is a shot in the AOL preview that shows David and Karlyn lifting the foam or mattresses or whatever that is. I can't get a screen cap of it but it is about 48 seconds into the preview.

That means the pairings are as follows:

Dustin/Kandice & Erwin/Godwin
David/Mary & Lyn/Karlyn
Rob/Kimberly & Tyler/James

^^ Here it is:
Cho bros with BBQ
Bama moms with the Hicks

Madagascar PITSTOP

BBQ checked in first
Rob/Kimberly made it too
the Cho bros survived
James

David/Mary or the Bama Moms are in trouble ???

(ALERT: Final 3 may be revealed as well)

I'm 100% sure David/Mary will be eliminated next.

They will give their "Friends in Low Places" tees up to Lyn and Erwin/Godwin.

We know this is where 2 teams have to join up to complete a task. An intersection I think they are calling it.

5. One team starts the leg with a huge handicap and will need to pull out all the stops in order to stay in the game.

We know this is Mary and Dave.

6. The racers also struggle to complete an unappetizing task of consuming a local delicacy. Every second counts as several teams run neck-and-neck in a race to the mat.

I think, based on the episode title, that Dave will eat the cows lips quicker than the others. But will it be quick enough?
