"Survivor Greek Islands - Episode 4:"

Posted by michel on 05-06-12 at 07:48 PM

Previously on…Survivor,

In the Greek Islands, one tribe was dominating the game:
“Nachos win Immunity!“
The Nachos had gained a hard shell of confidence while the Doritos had lost their crunch.

Feeling like demi-gods, the Nachos were brought back to earth when the Doritos kicked their way to a landslide victory.

Having to go to Tribal Council, some Nachos felt that they were in danger while others had a chip on their shoulder.

In a very divided vote, Chris, the big manipulator of Vanuatu, was sent home.
However, when it came to the second elimination, the tribe showed its inner division when Neleh, the sweetheart of Season 4, and Kelly, the challenge queen of season 1, received the same number of votes, forcing the tribe to revote.

Who will be the second person voted out of the Nachos and will this division spell the doom for this tribe?

The title of the episode is:

Double Trouble

Web clues :
- Be sure to tune in at the start of the next episode when the result of Nachos’ revote is revealed.

- The survivors are puzzled when they receive a strange message.

-With the merge approaching, some players are nervous about their alliance.

Join us at 8:00PM tomorrow to find out what happens in the next episode.
Let the spoiling begin!

(PS: I will be going to the gym tomorrow so I may be a little late. Imagine that: Survivor being delayed as if it was TAR!)

Doritos kicked their way to a landslide victory
landslide? that's not the way you described it when you revealed the scores! I know, that's just production giving you lines to read.

A TIE?
No purple rocks to pull?
No fire to build?
no guess a number between 1 and 100,000?

Is voting both out an option?

Yes, if there is a tie again, they are both out.

Okay, I'll make it easier on everyone and decide which of the two should go home!

What's the vote count? Or is that confidential?

LAST EDITED ON 05-12-12 AT 12:20 PM (EST)

The episode starts with the Survivors still seated in the Tribal Council set:

Two players are visibly nervous:

The rest of the Survivors are looking at each other, wondering which player or players didn't vote the way they had said they would. With the votes evenly split between the two women, the tribe has to wonder if there are two alliances at work.

Jeff returns with the urn and addresses the Surviors and the audience:

The votes have been tallied and the Survivor with the most votes will have to leave the tribal council area immediately.
I will read the votes:

1st vote: Kelly
Kelly
Neleh
Neleh
Neleh
Kelly

We are still tied; three votes for Kelly, three votes for Neleh

The next vote: Neleh
Neleh
Kelly
Neleh. That's 6 votes, that's enough please bring me your torch.

With this revote, the message is clear: The tribe is divided. Head back to camp and try to resolve it because if you don't, it will be tough going from here on out. You don't have much time. Bag 2: AEOSLLR

"Tree Mail:"
Posted by michel on 05-07-12 at 07:42 PM
Despite the fact that the Tribal Council lasted well into the night and that the Nachos had many questions before retiring to the shelter, the crew was merciless: They woke them and the Doritos before sunrise and told them to go get Tree Mail and get ready to go to the Challenge arena:

The Tree Mail read:

If you want immunity
You can get it
But once you have it
You may regret it.

Come on in, Guys!

How are you today? I hope you had a good night because this time both tribes will be heading to Tribal Council and voting out 1 member.
I will take back the Tribal immunity idol from the Doritos.

Thank you.

Today, you will be playing for individual immunity badges:

Do you want to know what you will need to do to get it?
As you will see, it will be quite simple.
Before I tell you how you can get immunity however, consider that I will reveal which Survivor (not user : Survivor ) will be immune from each tribe.
That could tell the others that whoever has that particular Survivor does not trust the rest of the group.
That could also hurt the feelings of those that will have their Survivors exposed to the vote.

So, do you rely on your position in the group or do you want to keep one of your Survivor safe at all cost?
Note that, if you have only 1 Survivor left but want to keep immunity away from someone else from that Survivor’s tribe, you can make a play for this immunity.
Before deciding what to do, consider the wrath of others!

If you want to protect your Survivor, all you have to do is send me a PM saying which Survivor you want to see with immunity.
For this immunity, you cannot give it to a Survivor that isn’t one of your own

I will open Tribal Council when I have received the request to give immunity to 1 Dorito and 1 Nacho.
If no one claims immunity for either or both tribes, TC will open tomorrow at 7:00PM.

"here I go again...."

clarify?

Players who still have two survivors in the game, they are to choose one to get immunity & PM that name to you.
Those who have only one survivor left in the game, do what?

And players can only PM the name of one of their own survivors, right?

Players with only one Survivor can still make a play for immunity (even though they're already implicitly immune), thus keeping immunity from everyone else on their tribe.

but answer my questions before I go off to LL to get drunk with Agman!

If you have one surivor left, that Survivor already has secret immunity but you can still claim this immunity to block eeryone else in that tribe.

Later in the game, you could give immunity to another Survivor but not this time since that is the object of this challenge. Instead of safe or sorry it's kind of "Safe and Sorry".

"RE: here I go again...."
Posted by jbug on 05-07-12 at 09:34 PM
& how is the recipient of immunity determined?

It was first come, first served.

"PROTEST"
Posted by jbug on 05-07-12 at 09:43 PM
Jeff always asks if everyone understands.
There should have been an opportunity for everyone to ask for clarifications (as I needed to) before a start time was given.
There could have been 5 or 10 minutes allowed for questions.

I'm going off to get drunk!

But not before I look to see who gets immunity. If by some bit of luck I was first, I'll forgive you.

I know one can't fight production
Just asking that in the future we be given a chance to ask questions if we need to.

remember in Hamster House, I was always asking questions of ZenBot to clarify
I know your job is tough Michel.
You are bound by contract to follow Burnett's order.

I didn't get it either. For the next challenge, maybe make it more clear that it's first come, first served? I thought we were supposed to tell you if we wanted our Survivor to play for immunity.

"RE: PROTEST"
Posted by michel on 05-07-12 at 10:01 PM
I am sorry Corvis and Jbug and everyone that it was not clear enough. I wanted an immediate, gut reaction so waiting for 5 or 10 minutes would have ruined that. And, yes, I realize I didn't say first come, first served but I did write: "I will open Tribal Council when I have received the request to give immunity to 1 Dorito and 1 Nacho".

I want to point out that I had answered the questions before the 2nd immunity was claimed. Maybe it doesn't make it better but you guys did have some time to react.

You are still down by two members and the merge is coming soon. Will you be able to turn things around?

In the next episode, Survivors start to worry about their position in the tribe.
With the merge looming, some look at cross-tribal alliances to save themselves. Will it backfire and cost them the game?

The next episode will start at around 7:00PM tonight with the challenge getting underway at around 8:00PM
