Yes...

I did remember to set my clock back last night. I am starting the thread early because of the high winds in the area tonight. We've already had one power bump and more appear to be on the way.

There is 10 minutes left in the game, the Steelers are down by 7 and are driving. The clock on my computer says it's 6:44pm, since most everyone fell back today.......

and now with 9 1/2 minutes left Oakland did a coast-to-coast pick 6 and are up by 14! Maybe we won't start that late after all..........

Game just finished here on the Oakland Steelers game and it's ~7:15

They say 60 minutes start next. Really? Will they not do the 30 minute recap of everything that was just watched and start the show?

Hopefully.

I'm shocked, they went right to 60 minutes.

Who knew they could just wrap up and not do the long post-game show.

Football just got over here in Boston, so we looking at a 8:15 start for TAR.

Can't somebody fix the clock on Reality World?

8:15 is not bad...still could be better though. Looking foreward to tonight...glad to see a fellow Bostonian around!

Kentucky is looking for 'booketing'! Ha!
Wow, they were nearly 3 hours ahead of the rest of the teams.

This is a good episode. We have blowups at the airport. Swimming that exhausts them. And problems on the road.

Okay, some future tension building - Kentucky and the Chos are pledging undying love for each other and Alabama, Alabama is saying that they are out for themselves.

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by EmmaHead on 10-29-06 at 09:31 PM
Alliance problems? WEll, we got Kentucky saying that their friends are more important than the race and Bama saying that the race is more important than their friends. Interesting!

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Swrdprincess on 10-29-06 at 09:33 PM
Kentucky will eventually start palying the game for the games sake. Plus the other racers didn't hear what they said lol

1) Only Mary (and, just now, Erwin/Godwin) know how to pronounce the name.

2) Only the Beauty Queens are looking at the absurdity of flying from Kuwait to London in order to get to Mauritius.

Yeah, that probably is the only way to do it, but you must admit it's an absurd round-about route that I'd think others would at least question.

Edit to remove sigpic. Sorry.

"RE: Two oddities"
Posted by EmmaHead on 10-29-06 at 09:35 PM
I thought the same thing but there must be VERY FEW flights to Mauritius (sp?) at all.

Man London...that must have been a bear of a flight.

Bama's not afraid to take on anyone! They fought with Tyler and James as much as they did with tbe beauty queens. Pretty ugly scene in front of a helpless ticket agent.

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by EmmaHead on 10-29-06 at 09:37 PM
And then Bama tried to make the ticket agent feel responsible for what happened!

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Loree on 10-29-06 at 09:45 PM
It looked like the ticket agent threw the tickets at them. LOL!

Kentucky's worried about the swim. Mary is "afraid of fish" and Dave was traumatized by being thrown into the lake by a cousin when he was 5. (Mary says that's how peeps are taught to swim where they're from. Well... Back in the early 1900's my dad was taught that way - but he was tied to a rowboat, at least. He got me actual swimming lessons.)

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Snidget on 10-29-06 at 09:44 PM
That reminds me of a friends daughter who went flying out of the ocean when they went snorkeling the first time, "You didn't TELL ME we'd be swimming with the FISHIES!!!!!"

Mom had thought that had been obviously implied with the whole in the ocean thing.

Tyler and James are lost again.

Rob couldn't get his car into gear and just walked off. Where he's going is anyone's guess. I'm sure he'll get back in the car after the commercial break.

edited because I got a name mixed up.

I understand having stick shift problems in some of the weird old cars with questionable maintanence records they drive in some places

But here? These cars look new?? How hard can it be???

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by EmmaHead on 10-29-06 at 09:55 PM
I thought Rob was just being stupid but I guess their car was actually broken. They have a replacement car now. Dustin and Kandace got in a car accident but are still well ahead of the rest of the pack.

Tyler and James and Rob and Kim and now the Chos and Bama left the salt search and went to the treasure hunt.

Meanwhile, the Barbies are wondering if they should go do the salt search.

They started late for me, but since we haven't gotten anyone through the detour, yet, I'm thinking maybe a to be continued....

Or is it too soon to freak out?

By my clock there is still 15 minutes or so left. COuld be a quick roadblock?

Nope - Dustin and Kandace are on their way to the pit stop. Did I miss the roadblock?

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Snidget on 10-29-06 at 10:07 PM
It does seem odd that there is no roadblock, but who knows.

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"

I'm still really surprised that they didn't have a roadblock.

Maybe they couldn't find enough stuff for teams to do in Mauritius??

Is there any rule that says Dave & Mary have to search the same salt pile? Can they each work a different one? And/or, can they switch piles if someone else that left has one worked farther down before they quit?

"RE: TAR10 - EP7 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by MsShel330 on 10-29-06 at 10:11 PM
Okay, at this point, everybody but the Cho's and Kentucky is getting on my nerves.

Why didn't Phil answer that question?

"Order of Finish"
Posted by EmmaHead on 10-29-06 at 10:14 PM
1st - Dustin and Kandice - each won a motor scooter (That they will probably never use)
2nd - Tyler and James
3rd - Rob and Kimberly
4th - Erwin and Godwin
5th - Lyn and Karlyn
NEL - Dave and Mary - 1st to worst. Can't believe they did another NEL already and Dave and Mary got saved AGAIN!!!

Oh you must be kidding me; another non-elim so soon!

Well, I like Kentucky so I'm not too bummed that they got another chance.

Looks like there will be an interesting new twist next week called the INTERSECTION. Not sure how this will work but it looks like teams will have to pair off for some sort of task. Can't wait to see what that is all about!!

Another good leg, lots of car trouble and lots of swimming lol. I can't believe everyone left the salt, I bet someone could have found it. I am amazed that the "Six pack" has survived. How long can it go on!???

Next week, another new twist - an intersection. Don't know what it is but it will force one of the sixpack to work with the Barbies.
