If there's anyone here who somehow didn't hate Alison Grodner before reading this interview? Prepare to have your mind changed.

No, I didn't vomit.

Barely.

Thank goodness they brought on Rich a couple of seasons ago. I fear Alison is truly over this gig. She runs the show, according to her title, but seems to lack the interest level needed to put the appropriate spin on the show (regardless of the lack of "new ideas" being used) and possesses a zero grasp on how to make it sound interesting to the viewers.
Interviewer: So you have a new challenge? How will this effect the game.
Alison: It won't.
Rich: It's a great twist because it flies in the face of being HOH and being safe. No one knows who will be nominated after the Battle of the Block! Plans on plans on replans... WooHoo!

Interviewer: So after the debacle of last season how did you change the casting process?
Alison: We didn't.
Rich: We insured that all contestants were briefed and rebriefed on the reach this show has. Your behavior inside? It WILL effect life on the outside. But truthfully, it's what we don't see in the interview stage that usually is revealed during the game. They somehow forget that there are cameras everywhere and so what you're seeing is what the contestant is giving and we don't control their personalities (no matter how hard we try *wink*).

I wanna watch Rich's version. I don't want to watch Alison's.

My guess is that Alison is hanging on by a thread. I'm pretty sure CBS brass chewed into her about what went wrong/down last year and they likely told her to get her stuff together and make sure something like that never happens again.

Honestly, it sounds like she is co- showrunner now with Rich, who likely was given a lot more control over things. Plus, as much as people rag on Julie Chen, I highly doubt she just stood by and didn't say anything (to Les) and was OK with how things went down last season.

Grodner: What's fun about this cast is they're like onions.

Does that mean they stink or they're going to make me cry.

I should be watched....closely.

They contain highly fermentable compounds and will release noxious gases from the bowels of the house?

They have green skin, weird ears, talk to donkeys, and have deadly gas?
