Mwahahaha... Colton's kind of evil is nearing the levels of nepharity of myself. Don't get me wrong, I loathe him.
But I do gain some insight into your feelings about me.
Specially after this week.

On the show, Blurs are nowhere (and yet everywhere), The greek gods make their presence felt and Tarzan lacks for everything except minority votes.

Overall...

G● alone gives both 5cats and FloPo the top weekly score.
And added to her total score, it's FloPo who ends up in the TopSpot. Again!
On the opposite end, abs goes missing but still manages to soak 10 points in corks.
Lowest scorer of the week, abs!
However, lowest overall score goes to qwerty. Cementing her place on the bottom.

Okay...
I have to lay down on this little couch here for a moment, relax and vent.
Perhaps it's because the room is spinning.
But not from the green soaking liquid.
It's because I have come to the realization that I truly am losing it.
Somehow getting it into my head that StPatrick's Day falls on the 14th, hence the Irish box and the semi-blindfolded BeerPong, coinciding with the episode.
But here I am writing this and lo and behold, St. Pat's is still a few days away. (Actually, today!? Happy StPats!)
Now, opening this up to you, I have inadvertently exposed myself. Flashed my insecurity in your faces, so to speak.
And here I go again, not even warning you.

Well, regardless of the indiscriminate display of my tenders...
It's probably best if I just carry on as if nothing has happened, as if it was indeed all to the plan and the real calendar is just wrong. Or perhaps I could just state that the intent was to always be AHEAD of the curve.
I do anticipate things, so it's totally believable that I'd have the thought of tying in the condensed schedule with a fast-forwarded type feel.
And now, I stand at a crossroads.
Do I cross the road?
Do I continue down the right road?
Or do I slight-of-hand my way into and out of an un-forethought roadside detour?

Well, you'll never know.

Editor's note: Okay, the SlotBox/Token challenge has officially begun.
As a product of the corksoaking, you all now have a "savings" accrued.

However, I can make you freely place your heads in fellow losers mouths. No soaking required.

Background: Second Nature

Finally!

I just now found a lovely toga in one of those fascinating little shops over on La Playa that doesn't require hemming - a foot.

And that's a good thing. Because nothing debases the essence of debauchery so mercilessly as does altering something not-yet-worn. Except ironing. Or trash night. Or multiple chins.

But, after days of looking (through countless boutiques and between convenient bars) I was beginning to think that I was going to have to wear what I have on. And although I always pack it for those inevitable moments when a Cruise Director (or Lodge Host) 'Goes Greek' on me (it does double-duty as a very reliable wardrobe-malfunction piece), after seeing your 'Wow!' outfits, I was really hoping that I'd be able to find something new, too. And, at long last, I found just the short - and sweet - sales monkey to make that happen.

Ah, empathy!

So, I'm catching up:

I've deposited my eight coins in the Private Tokening Booth and I'm taping my HutCam report on-the-fly here in Backseat Bay while I have my hair and makeup done for the (there is one, isn't there?) party: my shopping guru recommended this salon's authentically-ancient Greek stylings.

Hmmm, cute name: The Pretty Pit. I can't wait to see what they do with my hard-to-manage mane. I'll post my pic as soon as I'm 'done'.

I hate to be a pooper, and I really love Georjanna's lovely artwork, but the pictures seem to screw up my viewing of these threads each week. They seem to be too wide for the thread.

Is it just my computer resolution, or do others have this problem?

Hi, By!

Obviously, the just-perfect sizes of my graphics aren't screwing things up on my screen. Or, if they are, my aging-well-with-chemistry pills are doing a damned fine job!

But then 'resolution' - used in conjunction with 'computer' - is truly Greek around here. In fact, almost everything to do with a computer is Greek to me. I didn’t have one until 2000 and didn’t replace it until 2008. Cutting edge, it isn’t - and I’m not: I just assumed that what I saw - everyone saw.

Anyway …

I’ve checked Help now and my resolution was factory-set at the highest point on its sliding scale (1680 x 1050). And most of the ‘large’ graphics that I’ve posted this Season - the more I squint, the wider they become - have been 1024 x 768 (although this last is 1024 x 799, and I’m not sure how that happened because in the past if I uploaded anything larger than 1024 x 768 to Photobucket the animation(s) within it wouldn’t play).

So, if your computer is as resolute as it’s going to get, I’ll downsize my graphics or forego them entirely. I have a lot of fun ‘illustrating’ my responses to Tribe’s vivid imaginings. But I certainly don’t want to indulge my own amusement at the expense of other Lodge members. Just let me know how low I need to go: I firmly support the theory that losing is, at its best, always a cooperative effort …

Edited To Ask: I've moved the large graphic that I posted to the thread off-center (to the left margin). And I've reduced the size to 800 x 624. Does that solve the problem?

PS: I'm not an artist. For instance, all of the background images that I've used in these threads are from software collections that I've purchased from Second Nature. And the limited animations superimposed in/on them are from a collection that I bought from Animation Factory years ago.

I am a babe magnet.

I finally have to admit it to myself. It's the guns, or the abs, maybe the charisma, or maybe the odor, I don't know, but it's something. Maybe, going commando in this toga as I do, they see something else in me. But whatever it is, it can't be denied. They come like honey bees to the hive. (Hey, maybe it's this new drink/chin dribble lotion that I invented, vodka, honey and mustard, with a garnish of chest hair and served on a sweaty undershirt?)

They even followed me to the Hut. Oh well, since I'm here, and since I seem to have beat Coco here today (no feces/fan action yet) I might as well vote.
