He hasn't had a date yet, but he has kissed Lisa about as much as every other male on the show!

I'd vote him off in a heartbeat.

Hey maybe there's a surprise twist and Lisa marries the host!

Girlfriend does see quite a bit of lip action, huh? Chapstick really should be wooing her (if they had known beforehand how much kissing Lisa would be doing, they probably would have jumped at the chance to be a sponsor!)

LAST EDITED ON 09-09-03 AT 01:34 PM (EST)

I like Brian! He's really grown on me...I can't wait each week to see what his hair looks like and what he's going to be wearing.....and I'm still chuckling over his asking Renda last week "How did you do on your job interview?" This guy cracks me up.

oops...misplaced post, this should have been below

LOL Darylg. That's funny.
However, I wouldn't vote Bryan (Spike) off. He cracks me up with his insulting names for Laura

Yes vote off Bryan! This show would have been a lot better with Ryan Seacrest as a host! Of course Bryan is better than Jordan the host of For Love or Money. Where do they find these guys?

Bryan is the only one on the show who dishes it right back to Lisa's two "best friends" so we need him!

Not a fan or regular watcher of the show but saw enough last night. That Macfarten twerp can't even cue-card his way through more then two words at a time. He doesn't even have good writers for his stumbled lines to the herpies duo.

Never seeing him on the tube again would be too soon.

Agree. I lay the blame for turning the last 10 minutes of the show into a debacle squarely at Brian's feet. As a host, he never connected emotionally with Lisa, the guys or the viewing audience. He was smug & arrogantly disconnected throughout--a very wrong presentation for this show, IMO.

An empathetic host could have helped Hank (especially Hank who had no diea what to say) and Lisa better express their reasons for not getting married on the air. A better host could have made the final ending into a triumph of 'love' instead of a defensive, rationalizing debacle. For goodness sake, you idiot--help them thank the viewers! Make them feel good & positive! Lisa found a guy she can love, and they both turned down a million bucks so they could have a "normal" wedding ceremony! Make that classy, not a crass dis of the viewing audience.

Where is Regis Philbin when you need him?

You are so right as usual Swami! He did a horrible job last night. I think he saw it only as a forum to practice his Robert accent! (that was so annoying!)
I also think the producers knew that Lisa and Hank were not going to marry and did not fill in the host! He did look genuinely shocked and did not handle it well. I think one of the traits of a good TV show host is grace under pressure, he had none. Instead of attacking them he should have helped elicit their reasons in a better way. His questions made Hank and Lisa feel defensive and that's how they answered.
I never had much of a problem with him, thought he was mildly entertaining at best, kind of clueless and annoying at worst, but he blew it big time last night!

There's 'kind of clueless', my personal favorite 'probably clueless' and then 'definately clueless'. BM is the latter.

I kept thinking that Brian's hair made him look just like a kewpie doll.
