Sez David Smith not only is cheating on his former live-in-fiancee, Misty Williamson, but that he even tried to hit on her younger sister, Brandy!
"Earlier this year, Brandy came to stay with them for about a week, but her visit turned out to be a disaster," a source in Bellville revealed.
"At first, he started making subtle advances toward Brandy, with sexual inuendos, and brushing up against her. Brandy picked up on it, and started flirting back, but she was playing with David's mind, more than anything, teasing him to see if he'd actually cheat on Misty.
David told Brandy he wanted her to sneak away, and meet him at a private place on their ranch when Misty wasn't around. Before anything could happen, Misty caught the two of them in an embrace and put an end to it.
But Misty was badly hurt and angry that Brandy didn't tell her about David's propositions, and demanded that her sister leave their home at once. But the dispute didn't end there. Brandy was carrtying her bags to the car when Misty followed her out into the yard, screaming and shoving her.
Their argument became so heated that one of the ranch hands saw what was happening and had to rush across the yard to split them up!"

David had at least one girl on the side throughout his relationship with Misty, and once she caught him chaeting red-handed, the source disclosed: "Misty picked up David's cell phone when it
rang, and discovered it was a girl wanting to speak to him. She asked who was calling.
The girl answered, 'It's David's girlfriend. Who's this?'
"Misty went ballistic and shouted, 'No, THIS is his girlfriend, and don't ever call him again!'
"David caught hell with Misty, but within a couple of weeks, everything was back to normal."
In Bellville, David has a reputation as a liar as well as a cheat, the source continued: "David has perfected the art of deception,
and would rather lie than tell the truth.
"Nobody in Bellville was surprised to learn he was chosen to be on the show, because he's thought to be a fast-talking phony who will say or do anything to get what he wants--especially from the ladies.
"Worse yet, David's lying to America about his background. He claims to be a simple man who makes only $11,000 a year as a rodeo rider. But what people DON'T know is that he doesn't have to worry about making money. because his family is so wealthy! His dad is in the oil business, and sees to it that David will never have to work another day in his life if he doesn't want to.
"Sure, he makes only $11,000 a year, but rodeo riding is a hobby for David, not a job!"

According to the October 21, 2003 National Enquirer,
pg. 6, he had a live-in fiancee, named Misty Williamson. "
"David spent 5 months going through the auditioning process, but
didn't tell a soul. He didn't even tell Misty, and rthey were living
together on his family's ranch for almost two years! When Misty found
out...it almost broke her heart."
He went to Dallas for a screen test, then to Los Angeles, to meet
with Fox executives, both times telling that he was the rodeo
circuit. Upon returning to Bellville, he shocked Misty with the truth-
-and she was devastated! As David tried to explain himself, Misty
gathered her nelongings from their home, sobbing uncontrollably. But
David persuaded her not to go. After Misty got over the initial
shock, she and he sat down for a talk. "He told Misty he was in love
with her, and the only reason he was going through with this, was to
make a name for himself, and to pursue a show business career. He
said he wouldn't have sex with any of the girls in Europe, and
promised to be true to her, if she'd agree to stay. But he was
telling his buddies on the ranch a different story; he boasted that
the real reason he was going on the show, was to see how many
European babes he could bag!"
Misty agreed to live with him, while David was taping the show, but
move out shortly before his return from Europe, so Fox wouldn't find
out he had a fiancee. "David is prepared for the firestorm of
publicity he'll receive after the show, and knows that having Misty
live with him will cause huge problems with Fox. Misty is planning to
move back in with him just as soon as the Joe Millinaire publicity
dies down."
But another source declared: "Womanizing is in David's blood. Misty
should do herself a favor--give up any illusions she has about David
staying true to her in Europe, and tell him to take a hike!"

it's been mentioned several times in several (read: duplicate) threads within this forum that david had cheated on his live-in girlfriend...

i'm so glad to see this story finally confirmed in a reputable news source like the enquirer! it really puts away any doubt i might have had before over the validity of this story!

"meet him at a private place" - that must be the hokey pokey and Dancing Barney I spoke of in another thread.

"screaming and shoving her" - Reminiscent of the days spent with hurricane.

"Womanizing is in David's blood" - well, I can't see how, unless he's really into the buckle bunnies after all. The man has absolutely nothing to talk about - his interests are limited to horses and the rowdayoh. I wonder how long before the European women wake up, they are starting to grow on me. He's a complete and utter doofus - worse than Evan, and I didn't think that was possible. This really is rehab for schmos.

OMG, someone misrepresented himself in order to get on TV? And a SERIAL CHEATER? Can't he get the death penalty for that?
