Computer problems caused me to be late, sorry.

Greetings fellow Survivor lovers.
Are you ready for some questions?

No questions for this week, just a bonus. Have fun!!!

How I arrived at the scores

My first attempt was to count the face every time I saw it. This led to Jim’s face 97 times, not including shots of the back. I cut out overhead, and group shots, still too many. So my first attempt at scoring rules.

I will not count the Survivor In Question’s face when seen in:

Overhead shots
Group shots
Group of 4 or more Survivors (unless the SIQ is talking)
More than once when talking with another (back & forth shots)

I will count a confessional as one (1) as long as they are talking, even if they show another shot of someone else in-between.

I will do my best to count the words said to Jeff at Tribal Council. If you think I’m off and it really matters to you, contact me & I will check it out again. That goes for the face count and scoring.

What are the Scores

1. CTgirl = 177 = 8 – 8 – 8 – 30 – 5 – 0 = 59 = 236

2. 5cats= 171 = 1 – 8 – 10 – 30 – 5 - 5 = 59 = 230

3. suzzee = 161 = 1 – 5 – 10 – 30 – 5 – 5 = 56 = 217

^4. tribephyl = 152 = 1 – 10 – 10 – 30 – 5 – 0 = 56 = 208

5. Travelor = 160 = 1 – 10 – 5 – 0 – 0 – 5 = 21 =181

^6. Wallflower = 120 = 1 – 8 – 10 – 30 – 5 – 5 = 59 = 179

7. Survivor Maniac = 124 = 1 – 8 – 10 – 30 – 5 – 0 = 54 = 178

8. krismiss2us = 136 = 1 –8 – 10 –0 – 0 –5 = 24 = 160

9. taffnic = 112 = 1 – 10 – 5 - 30 – 5 – 5 = 22 = 134

^10. Kermit the Vixen = 65= 1 – 8 – 3 - 30 – 5 – 5 = 52 =117

11. Corvis = 80 = 0 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0 – 0 = 0 = 80

Who is the Star for the week

This weekend upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered bored & weary.
Head a bobbing, almost napping, suddenly there came a tap-tap-tapping.
Tis someone, knocking at my cabin door, knocking at the door.
Just EPMB, nothing more.

Why would he be knocking at my door?
All I see is the glowing fire on the floor.
To still my loudly beating heart, I whispered:
Just a producer, rapping at my door.
That’s it, nothing more.

Hesitating no longer, as I opened the door, my heart grew stronger.
Looking into the darkness, peering, gazing into the blackness, fearing.
Dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
The silence was unbroken, not a word did I hear spoken.
Darkness there, and nothing more.

Back in my cabin turning, all my senses within me burning.
Past my shoulder, I felt a flutter, into the shadows, I heard it mutter.
It’s fiery eyes now burned into my soul’s core.
Are you Tempter sent, I asked, or tempest tossed ashore?
I am the ghost of Mark Burnett it said.
Now and Forevermore.

Much I marveled to hear discourse so plainly.
Though his answers held little meaning.
A dragon on the morrow with all my hopes have flown before.
As the dolphin followed faster till his songs one burden bore.
Till the dirges of his Hope that melancholy burden bore
Of never – nevermore.

Then I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing.
Prophet! said I, thing of evil!--prophet still, or beguiling devil!
Tell this soul with sorrow laden, the meaning of the dolphin and dragon.
In this home by horror haunted, enlighten me quickly but nothing daunted.
Tell me, I beseech you, is this truth or folklore?
Tell me, tell me I implore.

Torn asunder from my telltale heart, to you this is all I can impart.
“Yin yang are this pair, locked in eternal fight.
Black as the Raven, white as the knight.
How you see them, that is your plight.”
Team dolphin or Team dragon you must choose
To end this strange vision, one team you must choose, I do deplore.
Who do I choose who do I abhor?

I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining.
Be that word our sign in parting, team dolphin or team dragon, Make your choosing.
I shrieked, "Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! And take thy form out my door!"
Quoth the EPMB, "Nevermore."

Now I am safe at home, the weekend just a shadow.
The nightmare is just beginning though, for you my favorite fellows.
To gain 50 points you must choose one team, dragon or dolphin.
Proceed to write a Halloween tale about your favorite tribesman.
(that is Coach or Ozzy) (you may use other Survivors in your tale)

The lamplight will stay on till midnight Halloween, the haunting hour.
And then I’ll close the bonus and your stories I’ll devour.
The best will be rewarded with 25 points added to your score.
So go write and write some more
To add points to your score!
That’s it for now and evermore!

Poem composed by Edgar Allen Poe & Queen kircon
Thanks Edgar for spending the weekend with me.

Coach’s Nightmare Before Tribal

'Twas the night before Tribal, and all through the camp,
Coach was a-scrambling even though it was damp.

The Immunity Idol hanging ‘round Brendan’s neck,
Gave old Coach the flashbacks and cried, “Oh my heck.”

The survivors all spooned in their big bamboo bed while Coach whispered insanities into their head.

“I am the slayer of Dragons he croaked,” while everyone there tried to stifle a choke.

“Is it my time for Redemption?” asked he who slays dragons. “Enough of the coconuts puzzles and wagons?”

“You can’t vote me out! You wouldn’t! No way!
I could still do something!” He roared, “I will make you all pray!”

Eyes were rolling through Coach’s extolling of how he would save the day.

Rumors were flying of Coach’s ejection, making him jumpy and needing attention.

“Lead me not into Redemption said the slayer on his knees.
I’m not worthy, I’m not worthy,” he said with a tremulous wheeze.

Both the night and his mood grew ever so bleak as Coach made his head hurt and his brain start to leak.

All through the night Coach droned of his plight.

The daylight broke and Edna finally spoke,
“Benny, oh Benny take a long flying leap,”
While the rest of them chorused, “STFU and just go to sleep.”

“Where is my loyalty you mutinous crew! You give me nothing and I demand my due!”

That was it, Coach goaded his last, the rest got together and made their last wishes,”Coach you big gasbag, you’re done and we’ll feed you to the fishes.”

Lil’ Hantz, his idol glowing with hell-fire light, grasped the rope and then tied Coach up tight.

The survivors took turns and chopped him to bits, the mutinous bunch then called it quits.

That night at tribal there was no arrival leaving Jiffy scratching his head.

“I guess they’re all dead,” he thoughtfully said, “There goes redemption and survival.”

Now my children come gather near. This is the part that will fill you with fear.

Deep in the jungle when the moonlight is bright, a strange noise you will hear, it will fill you with fright.

It is Coach, it is said, now the walking dead, seen at night looking for Jiffy.

Trick or treat
Smelly feet
All those nasty spooks and goblins of Halloween meet.

The worst of them all are on Upolu and Savaii
For the CBS storyline has run dry.

Coach or Ozzy our host wants us to favor
But how can we choose when it is neither?

Ozzy blows...
the coach's nose

And the rest?
Surely you jest.

For either of these tribes I've nothing left to say.
Except they need to bring back the Rudy, Tom and James of the olden days.

The Great and Powerful Oz

There once was a dolphin-boy in the Island called Cook,
Who had webbed toes and could swim like a snook.
He was brave and strong, but kind of a loner.
Yul and Becky thought he looked like a stoner.
Slaughtering sloths and mutineers was all on his agenda,
But in the end, he had to surrenda (sic).

He vowed that he would never again be slain,
Then he left for Micronesia to try once again.
There he was seduced by a siren with puppy-dog eyes
And with a gorgon named Parvati, they cut him down to size.
Humiliated, distraught, he went on his way,
to the South Pacific, where there were dragons to slay.

He encountered a translucent figure named Coch
and thought he was a ghost; it was quite a shock.
The all-powerful Oz knew he had nothing to fear,
for Coch was about as scary as a baby deer.
Ozzy and Coch became as close as Jill and Jack,
then Coch snuck up and knifed the Oz in the back.

Last minute quickie as I hate doing poetry especially after all your wonderful ones.

I am not a word artist as Semhar is to be
but I'll write a few lines regarding Ozzie
He was betrayed by his tribe
and was angry and sad
but he opted for RI with nary a bribe

He'll come back to the game
to his friends and his foes
Ozzie's strengths will keep them all on their toes

Coach will crumble and pray to his god in heaven
When the final vote count is Benji 2 and Ozzie 7

Sorry to miss the fun. I have been without power, heat or water since Saturday night. I am currently staying at my husband's corporate apartment 3 hours from home and still only got comcast back today! My house is still cold and dark and I am sure my cat is going to be riproaring mad at me when I get home!!

Happy Belated Halloween Connie!

Oh yes, I was sitting in my mink stole sipping champagne all week long trying to decide where the Lear Jet should take me!

Outdone by Agman

In reality, I was in a light industrial/business zone in an apartment decorated by Marriott that the relocation firm found because they allow pets! And it was warm so I didn't care!!
