They're gone! They're gone! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! I've never been so happy.

Come and share your Thank-heavens-the-jackass-is-gone love here! It's our last chance to bash them!

Shameful admission: As soon as I knew they were going, I looked at Lake and he looked kinda hot. I'm blaming it on my being drunk. *grin*

Hahahaha! Have fun in Sequesterville! *plbbbt*

Lake looked really bad tonight. I mean really, really bad. And not just because he shaved. How many names did he call her? Very ugly.

Well what did I expect from a man who married his assistant. That is to say, he married the woman whose job it is to do what he tells her.

It's funny that the Hippies lost 2 hours and still came in ahead of them. I wonder by how much?

You just hate him because he works with teeth. *grin*

I thought his behavior this week escalated and bordered on criminal. The swat he took at Michelle in the car and some of the names he called her in public...I just think the police will be involved with them somewhere down the road.

I was expecting a non-elimination leg this week but maybe the producers saw these two coming in last and took advantage of the opportunity to pull the plug on them by changing it to an elimination leg at the last minute. I have no proof, just a gut feeling. I know I would have if I was in the producer's position.

My reaction was similar to the last few seconds in Meg Ryan's infamous "When Harry Met Sally" scene. So, so glad that FLake and Michelle are gone. During the show, my 5 year old said, "That man's mean. Daddy doesn't talk to you like that." Exactly dear.

On the Insider videos, they show him getting in altercations with three of the other five teams on this leg alone.

I had been starting to like him, but it was his time to go.

They're called "Strike One", "Strike Two", and "Strike Three", for those of you who are interested.

I am very happy to see them go! I lost count of the times I said "I hate that man!!!" while watching him. I wonder if he has a psychiatric disorder because one minute he's saying "Shut up, B!TCH" and the next he's saying "You're wonderful, Sugar". I wonder if he has multiple personalities? I have never seen someone flip from being angry as hell to sweet as sugar as quickly as he did. The fact that they had to stop the car because he was having what appeared to be an anxiety attack from the stress may very well have cost them the game! That man is going to drop dead of a heart attack within a few years if he cannot get his stress and anger managed properly!

Whereas most people's parting comment has to do with how the race brought them closer together and they're so proud of their spouse, Michelle's parting comment was her defending her a**hole husband to the entire world. I feel sorry for their kids having to listen to their father constantly disrespect their mother the way he does! As many psychologist will tell you, "A man can give no greater gift to his children than to love their mother!" I hope he sees the MAJOR error of his ways and spends the rest of his life making it up to that poor, abused woman. Or I would hope that she would start to think highly enough of herself to tell him to get lost! Not likely though...

Yep, on the surface Lake is a nice looking guy but the minute he opens his mouth all you get is ugly.

I'm glad they're happy with each other, and I'm gladder that I don't have to see just how happy they are on my tv anymore.

Exactly. I had never even noticed his looks until last night because I was always so distracted by how much I hated him. My thought last night was "Wow. He'd be really good looking if he wasn't such a douche."

I just saw Lake and Michelle on CBS this morning to Lake's credit it did practically admit that he was an a** and that he should have listened to Michele more. He also said, paraphrasing, that he really didn't realize how big an a** he really was till he saw it on TV.

I still don't like him or her, but at least for now he's admitting that he could have done it different and had more respect for her.

I just wish Harry "I used to work with Paula Zahn, you know" Smith had asked him about other things he had done, like the confrontations with Fran and Barry. (Hey, they outlasted them! So the Ray/Deana curse strikes again!)

Story and video. Michelle is busting out all over, and her hair makes her look years younger, but that top? Has GOT to go to Starting Over.

And their families? "Oh, we just LOVE how he repeatedly called you beyotch!"

I noticed as well that Michelle is looking quite different. Maybe it's the makeup, or she had some work done, but she doesn't look like the same person to me.

What killed me in the interview was that they repeatedly said how much people were supporting them and all the positive feedback they were getting.

I guess these people were people that Lake gassed, cause they obviously weren't watching the same show.

I'm more glad that the Hippies werent eliminated then Lake and Michelle were, but I am glad about that, too.
Lake was horrible to Michelle! It was hard to watch.

"Michelle looks ..."
Posted by Karchita on 04-15-06 at 03:20 PM
Go ahead and call me crazy, but Michelle looks preggers to me. She's gained weight, boobs are bigger, face is fuller ... I didn't see the show, but how'd she look around the waist?

Lake admitting not only that he was an a**, admitting that he yelled more than he realized after watching the show and the big one. Admitting that if he listened to his wife that they would have done better is a very good sign that he could still change and improve.

Yes, I realized it could be just a show, but it is a show to public who watches TAR. Most of the bad guys in the past had too much ego to even publicly admit thier faults. Lake has only taken one step on the road of improvement, but it is a step and in the right direction. This is more than we can say of J, Colin or Will or a couple other a**heads in previous shows.

Y'know, if Lake was silent for the season, I would've found him attractive too.

He is so much more handsome with the mute button on.

Let's go Mets!
