"Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Week 8: Recycled Teacup Rally to the Final 4"

Tonight's HoH competition involves them hauling "hot chocolate" down a probably slippery lane to a bowl to remove a marshmellow.

8 ounces in the cup, the bowl holds 16 gallons!

This will definitely take a while.

What happens if it is a real marshmallow and it dissolves before they can get it out?

Gotta be a plastic marshmallow......

I honestly thought sprayed marshmallow would be the hazard on this one. (Who you gonna rip off?)

Amazingly, yes they are. Kevin looks to be in the lead right now, but I haven't really focused in yet because I know this is going to be a long comp.

ETA- Just got a long shot of all the bowls and Kevin is WAY ahead. He has almost twice as much as Natalie. From what I saw, the order is Kevin, Michele, Jordan, Natalie.

I had RealPlayer playing in the background during the live show, and it timed out on me and then crashed.

I've tried to turn it back on, and I'm having trouble getting to the feeds, let alone watching the feeds......

I've been having problems the past few days watching the higher quality feeds (the ones where you can see all the cameras at the bottom of the screen) but right now I'm watching the lower quality quad cam and having no problems. It did black out on me, but I restarted RealPlayer and haven't had any problems.

Ahh! I'm so confused! I don't know who to root for. Once upon a time I was loving Jeff, and Jordan by extension, but all that has changed since he became a huge jerkoff and I can't wait for him to get gone. Jordan would be the worst case scenario. Natalie would probably be the best bet to put him up, but it's Natalie and I just can't bring myself to root for her. I've never really liked Michele, but I would love for her to win if only to see Dumb&Dumber have to grovel at her feet after all the insanely vicious things they've said about her. I'm not sure what Kevin would do, and I like him the best out of everyone left, so I guess I'll have to root for him, and if not him, then Michele. As long as Jeff (or Natalie) leaves this week, I think I'll be good, but it's hard to pick someone to root for when everyone left is pretty vile. *sigh*

About the comp-- I'm assuming they're not allowed to stand under the chocolate spray and collect it in their cups, but that was my first thought.
I love this comp. Lots of opportunity for falls (poor Michele, she's sooooooo clumsy) it's fair for all involved, and it's easy to see who is ahead.

I'm giving the advantage to Jordan and Michele, who spend many nights running around the backyard while Kevin/Gnat lay around in bed.

My last lustful thoughts for Jeffoon crashed and burned when he engaged Russet's fight antics. I don't mean just because he got into a heated argument, that's BB, but saying I could take you on the streets? Oy... as a die hard MMA fan I have to say Jeff must have been thinking Russet was a WWE first class faker instead of some of the shots MMA fighters take.

Here's where the HG's are as of 9:19 (6:19 BBT)
As you can see in upper left, Kev is rockin' it. He is RUNNING while all the girls are slip sliding.

I'll provide further caps later if you guys want.

Yes, thanks!

Do you have more than one cam on your feeds? I was knocked off and when it finally came back I had only one cam. Not sure how long that will stay up.

"RE: 9:19 screencap"

See my post up there ^^ somewhere. I'm running the quad cam right now (which is a lower quality) and having no problems.

"Damn!"

Just in the time it took me to do that last screencap (10 minutes) Kevin has filled up a ton! I guess this might not last as long as I thought!

"RE: 9:19 screencap"
Posted by zazzy on 08-27-09 at 09:32 PM
Does Kevin work out much? Michelle has consistently worked out, right, so she should be able to keep going.

Kevin is doing way better than I thought he would.

Nat is cheering on Kev...is she trying to throw it so she doesn't seem like a threat? I think that's her strategy.

"RE: 9:19 screencap"
Posted by SilverStar on 08-27-09 at 09:35 PM
Kevin doesn't work out at all. I'm so amazed right now, he is killing it! I always thought in the back of my mind that he was stronger and smarter than he played off, and now he's proving me right. GO KEV!

"RE: 9:19 screencap"
Posted by zazzy on 08-27-09 at 09:38 PM
I thought he did some when Jesse was there. But does he even walk around the yard? He just lays around!

Michelle was on slop all week and that may have hurt her reserves.

This one seems to favor the peeps with the longer legs but Nat isn't trying very hard.

Craaaap. My feeds are flaking out again.

"RE: 9:19 screencap"

He has worked out a couple times, but not very much in the past 3 weeks or so. Unless he's doing it at night when no recappers are awake! LOL.

That just reminded me of a funny moment from the show when they revealed that hidden mystery HOH door, which is actually the door to the HOH bathroom. I don't know why, but that struck me as funny. What secrets are they hiding in the bathroom??

As you can see, Natalie sucks. She keeps falling and dropping her cup. She'll probably say she was doing it on purpose since Kevin was winning and she didn't "need to win" but fact is? she just sucks. At everything. Except lying and being nasty.

"RE: Another cap"

All Kevin is accomplishing is giving the money to Nasty.

"RE: Another cap"
Posted by SilverStar on 08-27-09 at 10:02 PM
Eh, I don't know. I think Kevin is a really smart player and I would not be surprised if he mixed things up this week after seeing how easily Natalie lies and manipulates. I'm not holding my breath (and I'd like to see Jeff go anyway) but I wouldn't put it past him. Kevin has been playing UTR, but I'd love to see him bust out this week. He's certainly kicking ass and taking names in the HOH comp.

"RE: Another cap"

I'm guessing the feeds will stay down until Kevin gets to check that question mark door out, and may go down every time he tries to discuss the results -- if he's allowed to at all.

"RE: New fish trigger."
Posted by SilverStar on 08-27-09 at 10:23 PM
You may be right, but I'm confident we'll find out what the mystery thing is. TPTB love to cut to fishies, but they're never quite fast enough and hamsters love to gossip, so it's almost impossible that the info won't leak at some time or another. Unless, like you said, it's another coup d'etat type thing where the power holder is not allowed to reveal it at all, but why wouldn't they let the viewing audience know about it?

And don't say because CBS is evil. That's a given.

I wanted to compare the times of this challenge and the same challenge in BB8. After a quick Wiki check, it says that the bowls in BB8 were 55 gallons and the cups were only 6 ounces! No wonder I expected this to go on so long!

Season 8 was the first one I ever watched... has this challenge been done any other time?

So Kevin (for sure) and Nat (most likely) are F4.

Who do you think the booted one will be? Will they get Jeff like they wanted to or do they shift to Michelle?

This is the time for them to boot Jeff.

Wonder if Jeff feels it yet. Hmmmm.

Let's watch Jeff su(k up. He already started by cheering for each one in the comp.

Nat is bashing Mich now.

Sigh.

Estee and I are pulling our hair out --Estee over Kevin and me over Nat. We sure can pick 'em.

I'm hoping that the non-nominated of Jeff/Jordan/Michele wins the POV and uses it, so Natalie's on the block, and then the two of them vote Nat out!

Michelle is in emotional agony in the green room.

Is that cause she thinks she's being booted?

Or cause she thinks she can't win?

"RE: So Kevin and Nat are F4 and"

Jeeeez. I've never really been a fan of Michele's, but this sobfest is getting me teary. Of course I'm a complete and total sap and I cry at everything, but maybe it's telling that I didn't feel a thing yesterday when Jordan was crying about Russell calling her names and here I am nearly crying with Michele. I'm just not sure if she's crying because she lost the HOH, or because Russell was booted and she knows she's on her own now. Whatever it is, I feel sorry for her. She may be a weirdo, but she does not deserve the hostility and insults that everyone has heaped upon her.

I wish I could give her a hug right now. She has undoubtedly been the biggest hugger in the house. I used to think it was odd how she always wanted to hug Jeff/Jordan, but man, I just feel bad for her right now.

Kevin/Michele FTW!

I'm totally with you. Michelle is likely still grieving her brother, too.

"RE: So Kevin and Nat are F4 and"
Posted by AyaK on 08-27-09 at 11:46 PM
I'll bet that she told her family that she was going to win BB for her brother.

And today everyone expects that Jordan and Michele will be nominated, with Michele going home. But neither Jeff nor Michele are stupid. Kevin promised Jeff that Jeff wouldn't be nominated if Jeff used the POV to backdoor Russell this week. So when Kevin actually does nominate Jeff, even if he sticks to gNat's plan to trash Michele and tell Jeff that he's just a pawn, Jeff will know what's really going on and will tell Jordan and Michele.

There appear to be three options for people going home. If gNat, Kevin or Michele win POV, Jeff's going home. If Jeff wins POV, Michele's going home. And if Jordan miraculously wins POV, gNat's going home. Want to put odds on the different scenarios?

Michele was in DR for a long time. Jeff totally trashed her to gN/K while she was gone, saying that she was 100% with Russell, lies constantly, and is of no use to him.

The weird part is that, seeing him in HoH with Jordan, we know that at least some part of him believes that. But, as we posted before, gN/K see this as his tactic to divert attention from himself for this week's boot.

Kevin had his HoH reveal. Among other things, he got Mike's Hard Lemonade, which gNat immediately claimed, saying that she loves the stuff.

Uh, don't any of the HGs know that the legal drinking age in the US is 21 and BB wouldn't let someone underage drink? All they have to do is ask about underage drinking in the DR! Just how dumb are they? Dumb, Dumber and Dumberer?

Michele asked Kevin just to tell her honestly what was going on. Kevin claims not to know who he is going to nominate, "but there are only three choices." He asks Michele what she'd do. Michele says that she'd put up Jeff, because he's the biggest threat there, but doesn't give an opinion on the second pick. She said that, were she HoH, she'd think that the two biggest threats in the house were Jeff and Kevin himself. Then gNat entered, and she didn't continue.

Edited to add this paragraph: Interestingly, Kevin then lied to gNat for the first time since the LML. He told gNat that Michele threw J/J under the bus and suggested nominating them (she didn't; in fact, she never mentioned nominating Jordan). gNat then asks why anyone would want to boot Jordan, since she's worthless. Why did Kevin lie? (It seems to me that he might be thinking about a backup deal with Michele, because he seems, much more than gNat, to recognize a gap between J/J/M, but we'll see.)

gNat continues campaigning for jury votes by telling Jordan that her plan was to put up Michele and Jordan, to make it appear as if she would have stuck to the "agreement" with Jeff.

Jordan and Jeff discuss Jeff being backdoored and she promises Jeff not to use the POV on herself if she wins it.

gNat and Kevin discuss the nominations. They agree that Jeff's anti-Michele comments are intended to save Jordan, but that Jeff is still on "Team Michele." Kevin concludes that Russell turned on Michele when she wouldn't agree to vote to save him. He and gNat agree to stick to their plan to frontdoor Jeff, since Michele is only a bigger threat in memory competitions, while Jeff is a triple threat.

Michele tells Jordan that the most important thing is for the person on J/J/M not nominated to win POV, because then they could send gNat home. Jordan doesn't seem very enthusiastic about that.

and she promises Jeff not to use the POV on herself if she wins it.

Which makes sense on a few levels, but it's still amazing that he got her to agree on it. And why wouldn't Jordumb be enthused about knocking Natalie out with a POV win? Is she starting to not-think her F2 options?

Oh, and according to Hamsterwatch (and Michele), the ants are A. in the bathroom and B. getting extra-bold. I can't say any more than that.

She said she wouldn't use it on herself if she won.

If she's on the block and wins POV, she can't get rid of Natalie. Let's say shes up against Jeff, and uses the veto. Then, Michelle will be the replacement nominee. If she's on the block against Michelle, then Jeff would be the replacement.

I think what Jordan was saying is that she'll use it on Jeff if she's up against him, or she'll stay on the block if she's up against Michelle.

I understand what the agreement was: it's just rare to see someone being talked into a Marcellas. 'I won't save myself because I trust everyone else not to vote me out under any circumstances.'

She's in a good position to have it work. It's just generally not a wise thing to agree with.

Correct, which has been gNat and Kevin's strategy for a week, ever since they talked Jeff into backdooring Russell.

Jeff, BTW, is upset that Michele already talked to Kevin. He tells Jordan that he wants to make sure that Michele goes this week. Jordan dreams happily of a final four without Michele.

He's particularly upset that Michele has a plan to get gNat out. He wants Michele to go.

Dumb and Dumber.

Natalie now holds the Endurance Challenge Throw-A-Thon title. She threw it to the left. She threw it to the right. She stood up, she sat down, she had a total lack of fight. She fell down, played a few choruses of Slip-Slidin' Away, and made sure her cup got more air travel than Chima's microphone pack. And then, just to cement her place in the standings, she dropped the cup in the giant thermos.

You could almost applaud.

Gnat is really an appropriate name for her. She buzzes around, is incredibly annoying, and she's always just out of swatting range. She is so persistantly aggravating that one would swear that she's actually a thinking entity bent on driving you crazy, but you know that can't be, that it's just that bothersome instinct that Gnats have.

Nat's smugness is one of the things that bothers me. And (cough) if she wins (cough, can't hardly bare to say or type it), I can see her saying something like what a cakewalk it was to be on BB and win.

I think Natalie was really trying until she realized Kevin was beating all of the remaining three. Then she stopped trying. After all Kevin was probably going to win, so why should she try any more?

Since Jeff & Michele are probably going on the chopping block, I hope Jordan wins the Power of Veto and takes Jeff off the block, forcing Kevin to put up Natalie the Rat. Then I hope Jeff & Jordan see the light and vote out Natalie the Rat! I want Natalie gone! I despise her!

Right now I think psycho Jeff would vote out Michele instead of gNat. He needs to go before he starts making Jessie look good by comparison.

"POV comp: Time for the morphomatic machine?"
Posted by zazzy on 08-28-09 at 12:14 PM
How well will they all do on the POV comp if it is the morphomatic?

Nat--has she paid enough attention?

Kevin--graphic designer, observant, good with visuals

Michelle--been studying the picture board?

Jeff and Jordan--could they recognize each other's scrambled pictures or only their own?

"RE: POV comp: Time for the morphomatic machine?"
Posted by vince3 on 08-28-09 at 12:17 PM
1. If it's not the Morphomatic, I'll be surprised.

2. I think you've got them handicapped pretty good.

3. Natalie might tank it, figuring that she's safe, forgetting that if the non-nominated member of Jeff, Jordan, and Michele wins and then removes a nominee that she's the only choice that Kevin has.........

"RE: POV comp: Time for the morphomatic machine?"
Posted by Snidget on 08-28-09 at 12:19 PM
My only concern with Kevin is I'm not sure he's good at making a decision. The two competitions he has one have been physically repetitive rather than getting the right answer quickly.

He could do well, or he could psyche himself out and get confused.

Michele should do well as being able to see patterns like that helps when analyzing data and stuff so that skill may translate.

Jordan could either do surprisingly well or fall apart.

Jeff and Natalie I think will not do as well because I can't see either of them being that into paying enough attention. Jeff might do OK if they hit the paranoia cycle at the right time. Natalie probably won't win even if she gets all the right answers right away. She'll misplace the push the button when you get it or something.

He's forgetting about one crucial thing: if the clique rules didn't prevent Jessie from nominating/evicting a fellow Athlete, he'd be gone week 1!!!!!!!!!!

"RE: POV comp: Time for the morphomatic machine?"
Posted by AyaK on 08-28-09 at 02:57 PM
Really, Jeff has revealed that he belonged in the Athlete's clique, because he's all brawn and no brain. No wonder he's so paranoid about Michele.

You know, Michele told Jordan last night that gNat tanked the HoH (which she obviously did, as Estee points out), and Jordan didn't believe her. Jordan loves gNat. Jordan doesn't love common sense.

"RE: POV comp: Time for the morphomatic machine?"

She tanked it so obviously that only the blind and the stupid wouldn't recognize it. And as you said, Jordan's not exactly bright..... and neither's Jeff, for that matter......

I wonder, though, if she's gonna freeze up like Will did in BBAS: When it comes to the time that she absolutely needs to win, she can't!

During the HOH comp that Michele won (the one where they had to determine if the questions were for HOH, POV or H/HN) he was doing really good and was the last one standing with Michele.

I think Kevin is really smart and perceptive. I think he'd do good at a questions comp. He's just been trying to lay low and not draw attention to himself as a threat.

Now whether that's because they're building the POV and/or tearing down the HoH stuff or because it's 99 degrees with a smoke advisory, I dunno.

It was also near 100 yesterday, during the HoH competition......

Have the noms taken place yet? I don't see it, just people talking about POV.

The noms haven't taken place, but everyone is pretty sure how it's gonna go - Michelle and either J or J.

They hear things being built outside, they think, so it's probably not the heat/smoke deal.

LAST EDITED ON 08-28-09 AT 06:28 PM (EST)

The details are still very sketchy, but here's what I know so far.

They played a competition dealing with that mystery door in the HOH (which I mistakenly thought was the bathroom, but is not). From what I can tell, Kevin was given a choice to pick something good for the house, or something bad for the house. I think he picked good. Then he was locked into that mystery room and the other HGs had to find a key to get him out. Jeff found it. Meanwhile, the backyard was covered in money that they were all grabbing and collecting in bags. There's also a lot of talk about Pandora's Box, but I'm not sure if that was the choice Kevin had to make, or if there's something else going on. They're thinking that since they got the reward (money) something bad is going to happen. I think so, too. Or at least I hope so.

I wonder if Kevin had picked bad, then he would have gotten a special advantage for himself. Immunity next week? Another coup d'etat? Who knows? But when Julie announced this thing on Thursday she said ""A new twist to the HOH that could impact everyone. The secret lies behind this door." Now, I took that as a twist to HOH, the person; but I guess it's possible that they meant HOH, the room. I don't know. I'm all confused and wondering about this as much as the hamsters are. There's got to be something else to it! They can't just throw money at them and call it a day, right?!

ETA again-- OR! since Kevin picked the good, I wonder if something bad will happen to only him. What could it be? I want to know!

"RE: The Mystery Thingy"
Posted by AyaK on 08-29-09 at 01:09 AM
Yes, the competition was Pandora's Box. Kevin chose to have %10,000 dumped in the backyard, but in return he was locked up in the HoH Room. Jeff finally got the key and freed him. The negative side of Pandora's Box is that it seemed to have unleased a number of aliens who were appearing in the mirrors earlier tonight.

"And your nominees are:"

Michele -- and Jeff.

Guess which one's less happy.

"Nominations"
Posted by SilverStar on 08-28-09 at 09:25 PM
As was the plan, Jeff and Michele were nominated.

I thought for sure that Jeff was the target, but Kevin seems to be waffling a bit and it could very likely come down to his vote if there's a tie. If Jeff wins veto, Michele is gone. If Michele wins veto, Jeff is gone. If Jordan wins veto... nobody is really worried about that one, understandably. At this point I think if Kevin/Nasty were to win veto they'd leave noms the same and Jeff would go, but it could flip to Michele.

"RE: Nominations"
Posted by AyaK on 08-29-09 at 01:05 AM
No way would Michele be gone if gN/K win veto. As gNat said, he thinks we're stupid and we're just going to let him win this game.

Actually, what gNat is doing with regard to Michele is trying to see whether Kevin has made a side deal with her, since Michele revealed to her that her target would be Kevin if she won HoH next. If Kevin were to be adamantly against voting out Michele all of a sudden, she'd know something was up between them. They both recognize that they may need to vote out Michele if J/J win POV, but they both are prospecting to see if they can gain Michele as a temporary ally too.

Expect the serious gaming to start after POV, which is supposed to be tonight for some reason.

"RE: Schweet!"
Posted by Estee on 08-29-09 at 08:04 AM
Toss this one on: Michele won prizes during the Veto competition. She took a TV and Blu-Ray player along with her immunity -- and all Jeff got was the right to find out what sound the exterior door makes when it opens.

At least for now, Jeffoon is following The Path Of The Gracious Loser: he's admitting to having gotten got, has spoken well of Kevin for making the move in the first place, and is giving Jordan double-edged pep talks in which he's careful to inform her that she can still win if she just starts thinking. (Nice theory.) Of course, he's been up for hours... maybe he'll have the energy to go bitter after he gets some sleep.

This sets up the week where Natalie has to stop throwing challenges. Michele's best hope of winning -- and maybe the only one -- is Jordan: a Michele HoH win very probably nominates Kevin and Natalie -- and with Jordan voting, that means Natalie is counting on her freshly lied-up BFF status to save her. (Kevin going out gives Natalie a near-best-case scenario: two people she can jury-beat and one win to go -- but either remaining contender might remove her at F3.)

Jordan winning... she's likely to blame Kevin, so he'd be one of her nominees. If the BFF lie is solid, Michele goes up: if Natalie slips so blatantly in the coming days as to make Jordumb catch on (and good luck with that), she goes up. Michele votes there, and Michele is not going to be a happy little hamster.

Natalie might be able to coast and hope on the strength of her web -- but the only way to guarantee her status on Thursday night is to take HoH. If she still remembers how to actually play...

"RE: Schweet!"
Posted by Belle Book on 08-29-09 at 12:28 PM
Well, my second choice was to have Michele win the Veto and take herself off the block -- and maybe that was the better option! So Jeff's going. He should've gotten rid of Natalie when Lydia was up on the block with her and kept Lydia around. Getting rid of Russell wasn't a bad idea -- Russell might've won the most recent HoH competition as well -- he just should've done it after getting rid of Natalie first. But Natalie and Kevin were good liars, unfortunately for Jeff -- and Jeff was too naive to realize it.

>Michele, beating Jeff by four seconds.

Actually, she beat gNat by a minute and Jeff by 1:06. So Jeff really has nothing to be sorry about ... and he admits that he couldn't have won, even if they did it again.

After the POV, gNat and Kevin told Michele about all of the meetings with Jeff over the last two weeks. Michele's joy at staying turns into her own Jeff-bashing session, as Kevin tells her (accurately) that Jeff called her "Crazy Magoo".. Michele tells America that its boyfriend is gone. She tells Kevin that she already has a husband, so she doesn't need Jeff.

Jordumb tells Jeff she wants to quit. Jeff tells her that, as long as she stays nice to everyone, she's certain to reach the F3. Jeff figures that Kevin will be next out.

As the night goes on, gNat and Jordan engage in some Michele bashing. Michele overhears it but doesn't say anything.

Later, Jordan tells Michele that Jeff really wanted to make F4. Michele shoots back, "If he hadn't voted Russell out, he would have."

S'okay -- I was going off the original Jokers report: they amended it later.

I do think next week is a good time for Natalie to dump Kevin -- she just needs control to ensure it, and I'm not sure she can completely keep the blood off her hands.

"RE: Victory margin."
Posted by AyaK on 08-29-09 at 04:53 PM
Even though we knew the POV was going to be last night, I just couldn't stay up that long. I dropped at about 2 AM EDT (11 PM BBT).

Thanks for updating.

On the Kevin point, his problem is that he can't play for HoH next week. But the real power is POV, since the winner of that can control who goes.

Jordan asked Jeff, if she won F3 HoH and had to choose between Michele and gNat, who should she boot? Jeff said gNat. He thinks everyone will want to sit next to Michele in the F2. But he also told Jordan that people won't want to sit next to her, since she was so uninvolved in strategy all game and since she'll probably win America's vote.

...which means that Jeff thinks sometimes. It's too bad he wasn't able to do it while he was still in the game. The Dumb and Dumber Alliance will be one for the books.

"RE: Victory margin."
Posted by Belle Book on 08-29-09 at 08:41 PM
Well, on the plus side Jordan's being so uninvolved in strategy means she might not have blood on her hands. The bad side is that there are juries who'd vote for people based on how they played the game -- and Michele was better at it than Jordan was. Then again, even Natalie was probably better at it than Jordan was. We just don't know how this jury will react -- but I believe Jeff's wrong in his assumption that she'd win America's vote -- unless she was up against Natalie. Michele would get America's vote if she was up against Natalie, Jordan and maybe even Kevin.

I'm hoping that people have calmed down enough by the time the Final 2 are set -- if Michele's in there -- and that Michele's good enough at the questions to win the game. GO MICHELE!

"RE: Victory margin."
Posted by AyaK on 08-29-09 at 08:58 PM
I admit that I wasn't on Michele's side earlier in the game, but the fact that she's tried to play the game honestly while surrounded by both lies and stupidity has put me 100% in her camp.

Actually, though, I agree that Michele would beat Jordan in the F2 if they got there. Heck, I think she'd get both gNat and Kevin's votes, because they joke about how stupid Jordan is on a regular basis. Who wants to lose to a stupid person? Add Russell's vote (which I think she'd get) and she has a chance.

gNat says that Jordan told her that Michele figured out that she threw the HoH, and she tells Kevin that she doesn't think all of her competition failures have fooled Michele at all, unlike Jordan. She hopes for a physical competition, though, because she thinks she's more physical than Michele.

Kevin thinks the F4 HoH will be a mental competition, and so Michele has a good chance of winning. Both point out that all they have to do is win veto, though, and the noms don't matter.

"RE: Victory margin."
Posted by vince3 on 08-29-09 at 11:11 PM
I think Kevin might be on to something that the F4 might be mental. It's probably one of those things that they have that gigantic 3 piece cake wedge and have the 3 of them either step forward or backward to answer a Chenbot question..........

F4 POV may or may not be season in review based.........

"RE: Veto goes to:"

Michelle beat Jeff by over a minute and Nat beat Jeff by 6 seconds...and Jeff told Jordan he didn't even get Jeff and Jordan's pictures right.

He said no matter how many times he would do that comp Michelle would beat him. Jordan tried to say that this comp was made for Michelle...but uh, Jordan, they have had this comp season after season. "Dumb and Dumber stay stupid"
Posted by AyaK on 08-29-09 at 08:47 PM
Honestly, Jeff and Jordan are so stupid that it's frustrating.

Michele tells Jordan that gN/K said that J/J were throwing her under the bus really bad. Jordan gets huffy, claiming that it was Michele throwing J/J under the bus. She goes in with Jeff, and the two of them launch into another full-scale Michele bash.

It never occurs to either of them that gN/K lied to them. Even after Kevin lied to Jeff about Jeff being safe this week. Never once.

Are we sure that they have even one brain cell between them?

As the old saying goes, did they just fall off the turnip truck? It's hard to believe that they didn't inadvertently kill themselves in their youths, because they are SO DUMB!

Meanwhile, gN/K have a convo about their F2 plan. Both agree that Michele would keep Jordan and nominate them, but gNat says that the converse doesn't hold -- she's pretty sure that she's got Jordan wrapped around her finger in the anti-Michele camp. She's convinced Jordan that Michele is the liar. She says she's going to keep working on Jordan on the "2% chance" that Jordan actually wins something next week.

Does anyone else think that Jordan may have been the real-life model for Forrest Gump?

Again, I can't help but feel sorry for Michele. She ended up in an alliance with two of the stupidest people in the world, and even though she has been totally honest with them, they continue at every opportunity to brand her as a liar.

gNat and Kevin have decided to offer Michele a fake F3 pact, which they have no intention of keeping (just like their F4 pact with Jeff). Their plan is to tell her that if she breaks it, she won't get their jury votes.

Hey, they're running out of things to lie about. They're bored. You know, it's hard work being on the Dark Side of the Force, which is why there are only two Sith at a time, a master and an apprentice.

Personally, I think gNat is the master. YMMV.

I think this also brings up another point. Let's say Michelle ends up in the final two with either Jordan(possible) or Jeff(highly unlikely). Will America be stupid enough to cast a vote for Jeff or Jordan over Michelle? If so, I think that's very sad. There's no one in the game that has busted more a$$, or strategized better than Michelle. Yet, she would probably get passed over cause Jordan and Jeff are just so goshgolly cute together. PUKE!

"Evening at the Moron House"
Posted by AyaK on 08-30-09 at 00:31 AM
Jordan is beyond ticked that Michele is staying and Jeff is going. She bashes Michele relentlessly to gN/K. Says that Jeff deserves to stay so much more than Michele (right, Dumbo, after he took out his friend and kept his enemies, he deserves to stay? Maybe in a mental institution, but not in BB). Tells how much she hates Michele and how much she was looking forward to voting her out this week. Kevin suggests that Michele may have known that. Basically Jordan acts like a spoiled brat who didn't get her way.

No one is talking to Michele. gN/K are looking for Jordumb's allegiance. Jordumb tells them that she'll win the next HoH and take Michele out. To show how sensitive to Jordumb's feelings they are, neither laughs at her.

She leaves, and gNat tells Kevin that Jeff had told Jordan that, once they got by this week, they had the game in the bag. Both laugh. Kevin wants to know why, when Jeff booted Jessie and Russell, he said that they were being babies for getting so upset, because it's just a game ... and now that he's in the same position, he's acting the same as they did. Points out that Jeff is a self-centered hypocrite.

If you tell enough lies, you might start to believe them yourself: Natalie and Kevin have trashed Michele so much, they've just about convinced themselves she really is the biggest, most evil threat in the house. They have to get her out. Now. And how are they going to do this?

They're trying to coach Jeff on how to talk Michele into using the veto on him. And believe it or not, we have found the one thing Jeff isn't stupid enough to believe: his reaction to this plan has been laughter and lots of it. So when that didn't work, N&K went to Jordan, recruiting her to convince Jeff the plan was a good & viable one. The argument used with Jordan?

"Marcellas did it."

I wonder how long they needed to explain that...

"Amazing stupidity continues"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 10:31 AM
While Jordan was in the DR, Michele managed to get Jaff into game mode. But then Jeff and Jordan got back together, and Dumb and Dumber re-emerged.

gNat spins a new web of lies at her BFF Jordan and Jeff. Jordan makes a F2 pact with her. But there's really only one alliance here, and that's Kevin and gNat. It's amazing how easy it is for these two born liars to get Dumb and Dumber to believe things. These two morons actually believe that Michele would have put them up had she won HoH, because gNat told them that Michele told Kevin that. Really, if I were related to them, I'd be so embarrassed that I'd deny it. Although both Michele and Kevin know that Jordan is the dumbest person in America, only gNat seems to fully realize how gullible she is.

Michele pitches a plan to Kevin for Kevin to take out Jordan now, then they'll take out gNat next. Kevin promptly tells gNat, and then they develop a new fake strategy, which is to completely discredit Michele with Dumb and Dumber in an effort to get their jury votes, in the off chance that Michele makes it that far.

Here's an example of gNat's blatant lying, copied from BBDish. As you may remember from further up this thread, gNat and Kevin formed LML III, which was to offer a fake final 3 to Michele. Michele told Jeff, of course, because she's been honest to Jeff the whole game. Here's gNat and Jeff this morning talking about it, with gNat considering her charming custom of always referring to Michele as "b-tch":

Natalie: Outside, she was like, let's make a final three deal!
Jeff: She said you did.
Natalie: No. B-tch is crazy.
Jeff: That's weird.
Natalie: She is the last person I'd make a deal with. That's making a deal with the devil. It'd be like she did with Chima.
Jeff: She said it was you guys
Natalie: No. It was like in the manner of yeah, we'll make a deal with you, of course. It's like, hell no. She knew it.

Really, how could you even be friends with someone like gNat, to whom lying comes as naturally as breathing?

Then Kevin comes out:

Natalie (to Kevin): The crazy b-tch told them we tried to make a final 3 deal with her.
Kevin (laughs): Really?
Natalie: That's how dumb she is. That's the person I wanna make a deal with. It's like a deal with the devil. That's what it is.

After that, gNat and Kevin strategized. gNat's new idea is to convince Michele to use the veto on Jeff, by Kevin promising that he'll put up gNat. However, if she does it, he'll put up Jordan and vote Michele out. She promises Kevin that they'll go down as the greatest strategists in BB history if they can pull this one off.

And they aren't worried about Dumb and Dumber any longer, because they realize that they're so stupid that they can convince them that blue is pink. The new threat is Michele, because she's not as easy to fool.

Kevin: Hey, Michelle, if you use the veto on Jeff, I'll put up Natalie, and we'll vote our Jordan.

Michelle: Why can't I use it on myself, and you put up Natalie?

Kevin: Uh.....

"POV coming up"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 03:47 PM
gNat and Kevin started backing away from their idea when Michele started buying into it. As gNat said, Jeff is still the bigger threat, because he'd probably win the last HoHs. Their attempt to pull the biggest swindle in BB history may cost them.

Then again, gN and K note that they never really committed to anything with Michele. gNat says that Michele would deserve to be called a crazy b-tch if she actually believed anything they said about saving Jeff and didn't realize it was just jury voting strategy.

But no one knows what Michele is going to do in the POV ceremony, which appears to be taking place now.

"Sense prevails"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 03:58 PM
Prior to the POV ceremony, Natalie went on at length to Michele about how she couldn't trust Michele because Michele was such a liar while she, Natalie, was the picture of honesty and truthfulness. Michele needed to use the veto on Jeff to show that she could be trusted, than maybe gNat would think of trusting her again.

Honestly, it was enough to make you want to hire a hit man to rid the world of gNat.

Anyway, Michele used the veto on herself when she couldn't get either gNat or Kevin to agree on a concrete plan with her. Good thing, too, because Jeff had already sold her out to gNat by agreeing to boot her next if he got saved.

So Jeff and Jordan are on the block. gN and K confirmed to themselves that they'd boot Jeff. Bye bye, Dumb and Dumber. We're just left with Dumber.

Sweet! For the first time since the Donatos, I will actaully watch the finale.

I still fear the houseguest somehow decide to keep Jeff, who would surely win, so my breath won't exhale until Thursday. I am rooting for Michele, but I'd be happy with Kevin. Worst case: Jordan v. gNat, but that is extremely unlikely.

"Upside."

The plus of having Jordan reach F2: she would have to answer six jury questions (presuming Jeff doesn't just try to kiss the screen). Watching Jordan trying to talk her way into anything should make for some excruciating painful screen time, hopefully all based in waiting for your ribs to stop aching.

We're talking about someone who can get 'Hello' wrong.

"RE: POV coming up"
Posted by Estee on 08-31-09 at 04:02 PM
The vaguely reason-based way Michele doesn't use the POV on herself: exhaustion. She decides she's tired of everyone lying about her, treating her like a combination of exorcism-in-progress demon and the only atheist at a church social, plus she's added up her jury votes and doesn't like her odds of getting Jordan to F2. Put it all together, and there's a tiny chance she would decide 'Screw this: at least I can talk to Russell a little, and life's quieter without Natalie in my ear.' The hell with the veto: just vote her out already. Game suicide: weapon of choice was falling on her own shield.

But to do it as game strategy...

...worked really well for the first guy.

"RE: POV coming up"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 04:26 PM
I honestly thought that she might be getting emotionally tired. It's got to be hard when you've been lied about since almost day 1, coming just after the death of your brother.

The funny thing is, Jeff is going to be an idiot in the mold of S3 Lex after this is over. Remember how Lex was convinced that he made the right move by gunning for Kelly, even though she was on his side? He survived in the game solely because he could turn one person for one vote -- then argued about how clever he was when it was over. (Of course, he again proved how stupid he was when he kept Amber in A$$.)

I can hear Jeff insist after BB that Russell and Michele were such liars that he made the right move by getting rid of Russell, even after he's learned about the LML and how gNat and Kevin played him like a violin and convinced him to throw away a won game.

After all, for the umpteenth time, stupid is as stupid does.

"From BBDish"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 04:36 PM
I just have to pass this quote along, showing how stupid Jeff is and why he deserves to go home. The commentary at the end (after the ***) is from Carolyn at BBDish:

http://bbdish.blogspot.com/2009/08/pov-ceremony-spoiler.html

Jordan: You know you got Michele's vote. All you need is Natalie's, so stop stressing about it. It's not fair if I stay. I don't wanna stay. I'll be out next week. I don't wanna see him win. I'm gonna have to ask Michele about that.

Jeff: Go ahead if you want. Every word out of her mouth is a lie. I was talking to Natalie outside and she said...

***sigh.

It's amazing how he now believes that Kevin is a liar but won't give up the belief that gNat is scrupulously honest and Michele is completely dishonest, even though every word out of gNat's mouth is a lie. Jeff really should be singing with the Scarecrow from The Wizard of Oz: "If I only had a brain."

It is amazing how stupid -- or how naive -- Jeff is! Or maybe it's amazing that Natalie's such a good liar that she can convince Jeff (& Jordan) that she's scrupulously honest while Michele is completely dishonest! Of course, I'm willing to bet that Natalie's projecting her own dishonesty on Michele.

If he weren't dead, he could've reused his famous quote about Reggie Jackson and George Steinbrenner for gNat and Kevin:

"RE: Billy Martin's thoughts"
Posted by AZ_Leo on 08-31-09 at 07:13 PM
Hasn't gNat thrown hinky votes in the past? Wouldn't it be probable that she would vote for whomever she thinks Michelle isn't and force a tie, making Kevin the bad guy? Of course she would lie about it after the fact in whichever way would suit her best.

What might be fun is if Michelle could figure that out, convince gNat she will be voting for Jeff so gNat votes for Jordan, Michelle actually votes Jordan, leaving gNat to explain to Kevin why she she went against their plan to boot Jeff.

At least that scenario might have some entertainment value. I might even tune in to see the two of them turning on each other.

"No"
Posted by AyaK on 08-31-09 at 07:48 PM
gNat is scared to death of the possibility that Jeff might stay and Jordan might go. She seems to realize that Jordan is the dumber one, and Jeff around Michele might actually be a decent player instead of a moron. (Would we say that Jeff was another guy thinking with the wrong head during this game?)

gNat told Jordan (honestly for a change) that Michele would vote for Jeff to stay and she was going to vote for Jordumb to stay, and then Kevin would oust Jeff. Jordumb pleads with gNat to be voted out, but gNat tells Jordumb that she needs to "be strong for her family" and stay. Jordumb decides to stay and help gNat take out Michele and then Kevin. Duhhh. It's all Jordumb can manage to not drool on herself.

I can see her thinking that she needs to be strong for her family. But who does she need to be stupid for?

gNat tells Kevin that Michele has stopped trusting Jordumb, but she still tells Jeff everything, and then Jeff tells Jordumb and Jordumb tells her. If Jordumb had any brains ... but if she had even one brain cell, it would probably be terminally lonely.

"Jeff actually does something sensible"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 01:52 AM
Just before BBAD comes on, Jeff tells Jordumb to stick with Michele for as long as she can. Jordumb starts repeating gNat's lie that Michele is coming after her next week. Jeff tells her to shut up and stop listening to the a$$holes Kevin and gNat, because it's stupid to believe that Michele is targeting her. She stares daggers at him but shuts up for a change.

Jeff then offers gNat a deal (while Kevin is in the DR) that, if she saves him, he and Michele will throw HoH next week to her. We know, as Jeff doesn't, that she's laughing at him behind his back for his desperation (in fact, she and Kevin openly laugh at J/M later). Jeff FINALLY seems to realize that she's playing him, but he's out of options.

I have to admit that I hate gNat, Kevin and Jordumb so much by now that I would stop watching if Michele were gone.

There are other people who hate them as much as I do. Here's a post by one of them recapping yesterday.

http://realitytvcalendar.com/shows/bb-11/live/bs078-p2.html

Natalie is trying to make sure Kevin is still her lap dog and says "I would never make a deal with Michelle, that's like making a deal with the devil". Kevin says "She's lied so many times".

Okay, how about for the next HoH we hook lie detectors up to all of them. We asks questions and each time they lie they get hit in the face with a slop pie thrown by Casey in his chicken suit. Now that would be good TV.

Natalie says "I hope the HoH is gathering balls, I'll knock the ##### out to win". Yeah and maybe we should just give you a knife, you miserable troll....

Also, just for the record. Natalie took a shower Sunday. Its been almost a week since the last one. She's also been wearing the same clothes for days. Can you say "skank".

When she gets out she puts on a shirt that says "Angel" on the back of it. Obviously her idea of camo.

Of course Natalie seems to actually believe her lies so she'd probably pass.

True story: I once was a retail store manager in a chain where everybody had to take annual polygraphs (back when you could still do that). Corporate had the examiner come in when I had hired a bunch of new people. About one of the people, the examiner said, "He's either the most honest guy I've ever tested, or he's a pathological liar, because the needle hardly moved during the entire exam."

About two months later, we caught him stealing a couple of thousand dollars worth of merchandise. We fired him, but the town said it wouldn't prosecute. Then he had the audacity to sue us, claiming we fired him for racial reasons (he was black) ... although his lawyers dropped out before the case came to trial when we wouldn't pay him a settlement, and after they deposed two of our people who had seen him stealing the merchandise (They had given him a lie-detector test about his claims, which he passed, which is why they took the case in the first place!). The suit was eventually dismissed for lack of prosecution.

I think he may have been gNat's biological father.

Estee had a thread on this, but I just wanted to pick these two up. Again, from BBDish. Honestly, gNat lies as easily as breathing. And Jordumb's mom must be so proud of her stupid, stupid daughter.

Jordan: I have to ask you this... Did you say in your goodbye message to Russell, I'm gonna send you a birthday present next week?

Natalie: No. Russell said that's the birthday present he wanted.

Jordan: Michele said that you said that in your goodbye message...

Natalie: I don't care what Michele says. Nobody should ever believe what she says.

Jordan: Oh, I don't.

gNat and Kevin continue to slander Michele relentlessly in their conversations. I don't care if they are on a game show, slander laws still apply.

Kevin claims to gNat that gNat needs to throw Michele under the bus more with Jordan. More? How could she do it more than 100% of the time?

I thought the object of Big Brother was to win. Going in I think each contestant says something to the effect of knowing there will be lies and they may have to be involved in some of the lying to win. So when they use the tool they have, why do the people here act like they are such horrible people? I always have a favorite or two and wish like hell they win, but if they're losing...damn!!
You have a favorite and want them to win and so do they....

Michele's favorite is Michele
Jordan's favorite is chocolate,

I expect some lying. Especially lying about something in the game that gets you ahead.

The lying for the sake of lying (like her age and all the lies about how she has some magic wristband that gets her "underaged" butt into casinos to win poker tournaments without being detected by anyone) and having that as one's only strategy annoys me. Her answer to everything, make up another lie.

At least Dr Will had charm and lying. gNat's just got lying. Unless her lack of hygiene stuns people into believing the lies.

"The feeds"

LAST EDITED ON 08-31-09 AT 10:04 PM (EST)

I loved Dr. Will. Will lied to get himself ahead in the game. He made no secret that he was a liar. Early on in season 2, he told the other HGs that anyone who trusted him was a fool. How can you not respect that?

When Will double-crossed Danielle and James in All-Stars, they knew that he had made a smart strategic move. But his lying wasn't personal, just strategic.

By contrast, Kevin and gNat's lying is personal. It's one thing for Kevin to promise that he'll keep Jeff safe and then vote him out. That's strategic, and I'm actually happy he did it. If that's all he and gNat were doing, I'd give them the same respect that I gave Will. But it's not.

Instead, they have become the first HGs to make slander, which is still a tort in the U.S., into a game strategy. They've made up two complete lies about Michele. They call Michele a "crazy b-tch" at every chance they get. They've made up several out-and-out lies -- personal lies, not strategic lies -- and then insisted that they were telling the truth each time. When they're alone, they spend all of their time trashing the other HGs in the most vile possible terms. Really, they have kept the high school motif of this season alive by behaving like a nasty clique, determined to ruin the lives of everyone they touch.

If you just saw the highlight shows, you might believe that their lying was strategic. But the feeds and BBAD make it clear that it's not. gNat and Kevin are just vicious sociopaths.

I can't believe that anyone could defend this behavior as "gameplay". Seriously, I think Michele should sue them for slander when this game is over. They're incredibly guilty, and it's still against the law.

"RE: The feeds"
Posted by Round Robin on 09-01-09 at 00:19 AM
It might be against the law, but how much you wanna bet they have language in the contestants' contracts that says you can't sue any other contestants or the producers or SeeBS for slandering you or lying about you? There's so much lying in the typical reality competition show that I'd be shocked if the producers or SeeBS didn't have their a$$e$ covered against it in the fine print.

"RE: The feeds"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 00:39 AM
I actually expected that CBS had Michele sign away her right to sue, because CBS would be as liable for spreading the slander as gNat and Kevin are for saying it, and CBS has a lot more money.

In a case like this, the defamation of character engaged in by gNat and Kevin would lead to a multimillion dollar verdict, and CBS would have to pay it all (or almost all). Obviously, their lawyers have drafted protective language in the show's contract.

So I know Michele can't actually sue under the contract. But then again, the contract is clearly coercive. And nobody can expect that two evil people will conduct a campaign of this magnitude against them. So there is a chance that Michele could succeed in a suit notwithstanding the contract.

Of course, there is one way that CBS can ensure that it won't get sued by Michele for all this slander. Slander is only actionable if it actually harms your reputation. If Michele wins the America's choice prize, that would show that her reputation was unharmed despite the promulgated lies and thus eliminate Michele's cause of action.

I think CBS will want Michele to win that prize, for the reasons that I gave earlier.

And one more thing: there was only one other clique that reached the end of the show that was as hateful as gNat and Kevin. It was the Fiendship Nerd Herd. The line of people who think Maggie was a good winner forms to the left, next to the cliff.

Don't forget about Alison & Jun of the X-Factor season. Alison was especially nasty. I'd rank her after Yvette as the all time worst contestant.

Danielle lost to Jason in her season because of the nasty things she said in the DR, which BB showed the Jury before they voted. I believe she referred to Roddy as the Devil. Marcellus also took great pleasure at taking personal swipes at the housemates that year, his favorite target was Amy.

"RE: The feeds"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 01:41 AM
It wasn't that Danielle in BB3 was so nasty about them, but that they didn't realize that she was playing them all and actually had the F2 deal with Jason. BB didn't show them the episodes before voting, but there was no jury sequester in season 3. When the jury came back, they'd all gotten to see how Danielle had played them (including watching the live feeds and reading her back comments), and everyone except Jason voted for Lisa.

That's why we have the jury sequester now. It started with BB4.

You're making good points about the lengths Nat and others have gone to in slandering Michelle and the damage it could be doing. I've never watched the Real World or some of the other shows where people get sooo personal, like the Bachelor, so are there other reality shows where people get this vile? Or is that just because of the live feeds?

I've been wondering about the vile-ness of Nat and others this season...is it from their lack of maturity? That someone has to be despicable in others' eyes to get people to vote them out?

What's amazing is how well it is working. Where's the sense of decorum? Has anyone ever said "you don't have to go there"?

IMO Evel ##### was just as big a turn off as Nat. He said some really nasty things...isn't he the one that talked about wanting to rape someone? Ugh.

Strategic lying is one thing -- personal lying, like what Natalie's doing to Michele, and being so nasty about it is another!

Skimming through the last three days, trying to keep up...

From what I've read, a couple of nights ago Michelle was in the DR a longgggg time a and then went outside where Jeff was and when Jordan was called into the DR (how convenient), Jeff was alone with Michelle and Michelle started up her "I don't want you to go" campaign with Jeff and that's when she promised Jeff to not vote him out. Jeff was morose before this conversation and perked up a lot after it. Suddenly there were options for him.

Jordon comes out of the DR eventually and starts to talk about her going home instead of Jeff.

Ayak's detailed a lot of the back and forth plotting since then --thanks, Ayak!--but I have to ask...what the heck is the DR doing and are they directing the game to have some footage for the shows, because before all of this, Jeff was brooding and was not very fun, even with Jordan and they were either laying out in the sun or napping. Very boring in the BB house and it looked to stay that way all week.

Seems like in years' past they gave the houseguests something crafty to do (more than just tie dyed shirts or play doh)... like painting a gnome or painting a stuffed doll to look like yourself. Lydia's not there to take over the crafts from everyone, either, so the remaining players would be more engaged in the crafts.

It sounds like after the 48 hours or so of bs, Michelle will vote out Jordan so Jeff can stay and Nat will vote out Jeff so Jordan can stay and make Kevin be the one to evict Jeff. ITA with Ayak that Nat is making Kevin do the dirty deeds.

Michelle may have done the whole "I want you to stay" thing with Jeff to get his jury vote...knowing all the while that Nat and Kev would still vote him out. But it had some risk and I feel like the DR directed the whole thing by probably having her talk through the jury house votes one by one to get her to realize she should try to influence Jeff's vote and push her towards that conversation with Jeff.

She correctly intuits that she can't trust anyone who is left and that Jordan is easily manipulated by Nat and Kevin.

Kevin seems resolved to boot Jeff.

At this point, who does BB want to win? We know it's not Jordan. And earlier in the season it wasn't Nat, or they never would have put together the "you stink" footage that was on their web site but didn't make the show.

Do they want Michelle to win...so they helped her see she needed to campaign for Jeff's jury vote by trying to help him? Or were they hoping that the ploy would work and the rest could be convinced to keep Jeff?

ETA: it's not Jordan, geesh.

"Thoughts"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 12:18 PM
It wouldn't surprise me if the DR had some suggestions for Michele. I also think the DR had suggestions for the Lyin' 3 before they came up with the LML. I think the DR people want good footage, and the way to get the best footage is not to have defeated contestants but to have people playing the game.

I'm sure the DR thought it was great when Kevin and gNat created dissent within J/J/M/R. That big meeting outside with Jeff leading things was great footage. But then things went south, and the DR learned, as Schiller said, that against stupidity the gods themselves contend in vain.

Do I think that CBS wants Jordan to win? Let's put it this way: I think that CBS does not want gNat to win. Come on, last night she even cheated Kevin at pool by stealing two balls off the table. Lying and cheating are her distinguishing character traits, and there is no way to make it seem like a virtue.

I think that, other than that, AG and CBS are indifferent. If gNat were booted, I think they'd be OK with any one of the other three as a winner. The problem is, they can't do too much, because Dumb and Dumber can't stop themselves from talking about the DR, and so we know that they were indirectly trying to convince Jeff to boot gNat last week (when Jeff ignored them and double-crossed Russell, leading to his own immediate elimination).

"RE: Thoughts"
Posted by zazzy on 09-01-09 at 12:36 PM
Sorry, I miswrote above (now corrected) but I meant they don't want Jordan to win...or why would she repeatedly come out of the DR talking about how Jeff deserves to stay and she should go, etc.. And I wonder if they are changing their mind on Nat but she hasn't had too good of an edit, has she? I've missed parts of a couple of shows, so maybe I missed it if the show was putting Nat in a positive light. Even the part about her phone call seemed perfunctory, the way Russell.s spa treatment seemed perfunctory. If Jordan had won the phone call and Jeff the spa treatment, those segments probably would have been 1/4+ of the show!

So it's either Kevin or Michelle...and I guess they were "nice" in their editing of Kevin winning the comp getting his HOH room and reading his letter.

Michelle...win HOH this week, please!!!

"Because..."
Posted by Estee on 09-01-09 at 12:46 PM
or why would she repeatedly come out of the DR talking about how Jeff deserves to stay and she should go

...she's exactly that stupid. Asking Jordan to understand what people have been trying to tell her was a lost cause from Day #1 on.

But I also think she's convinced herself no one other than Jeff is willing to carry her: baring an HoH win, she's out next. Her idiocy makes her a potential great F2 partner -- but it also prevents her from seeing that.

last night she even cheated Kevin at pool by stealing two balls off the table

As a group, we've made plenty of Jessie/steroid comments in the past -- but Natalie, as the one who feels no rules apply to her unless they're being used to hurt someone else, seems the most likely to take performance enhancers. She definitely believes in no-payback-ever for her own deeds: words can't hurt her, gameplay finds her invulnerable, and side effects? Are for lesser beings.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
There's been a lot of discussion this week for Natalie/Will comparisons, and the biggest difference ultimately comes down to charisma. Will had it. Natalie doesn't. She can't wink at the camera, laugh along with the audience, say 'It's all a game: if I win, I'm buying them the drinks and if I lose, I'm buying them the drinks for being good enough to beat me.' (Will's exit and arrival at the jury house in B.B.A.Stards was as gracious as they come.) Natalie doesn't want you to play along with her: she demands worship as a great player, and anyone who doesn't give it to her is only worthy of being cheated and lied to themselves -- first. She'll do both to anyone who backs her eventually: it's how she asserts her superiority.

Will cared about what you thought because you were an equal partner in his schemes. Natalie finds you irrelevant, now and forever: your only possible reason to exist is so she can take what she desires from you and as soon as she finishes, your existence can stop.

I've talked about Natalie getting away with her age lie because her emotional maturity is years behind her personal calendar. Every time she opens her mouth, I have to subtract more days. At this point, she's about five: spoiled, selfish, and eternally ready to start a fight just so she can lie about who pushed who and get her victim grounded. Injury, insult, and the ceremonial rubbing of dirt in her opponent's face: her eternal cycle.

Natalie doesn't care because no one who disagrees with her in any way is worth caring about. And anyone who agrees with her can stand by her side just long enough for their pocket to be picked.

If she did win, I can picture her joining one other series victor in a formerly-unique status. It's so easy to imagine Natalie in jail, arrested for failing to pay any taxes on her winnings. Why should she? She earned that money, and she's far too good to hand any of it to someone else...

What a fabulous post. I wanted to quote the whole thing! I only wish Nat would be able to read it.

I am not in the "Nat's another Will" camp. Nat's her own type of Nasty player. (Nat-sy?) Maybe I need to watch season 2 again, but Will had a charm no one else has brought to BB. Nat is totally charmless.

Her nastiness makes me weary, the way ED's relentless tirades did. I find her more ED like than Will like. I could give a flip about the comps because we know people are throwing them at times so being the "winner" doesn't mean no one else could have won.

I think Michele planned to go with Jeff to the Final 2 and since Jeff's realized what he's done, she's showing her loyalty to him. BB may be encouraging her to go through with her plan as well. They certainly know that America doesn't like Jordan anymore -- and especially not Natalie! So they correctly realize that America would vote for Michele and want to make sure that Michele tries to keep Jeff around or at least ensure that he has her vote if she makes it to the Final 2. So I could see producer suggestions in it, but I also think Michele's being loyal to Jeff.

Jeff is the kind of player both Big Brother and America seem to love: Handsome, amiable, not too bright.

I think the DR is trying desperately to keep Jeff in and have him win. More than any other Reality show I've seen, BB has alpha male winners. No homos, no women. Obvious favoritism toward certain players.

That's why I won't be relieved until Jeff is gone. He did make a big move, thanks to the producers and America's vote, but he would be a very disappointing winner. I'd much prefer Michele or Kevin, since they have had to fight more (especially Michele. Kevin has seemed like a fringe guy all along, neither in nor out).

"Kevin"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 03:52 PM
Back when I first started posting about this season, I characterized Kevin as a classic floater. But he's not.

He's more like an outcast getting a chance to hang with the cool kids, and he's become more and more obnoxious as the days go on. He reminds me of Cady in "Mean Girls", who was co-opted by joining the high-status clique.

>like Jordan anymore

Not sure I agree with that. America in general does like Jordan. She's gotten a likable edit..........Jeff and Jordan are now America's couple. The people who doen't liek them are the ones that read these sites or watch the live feeds.

If BB doesn't want Jordan to win it's not because AMerica doesn't like her. It is because the viewers all realize she has done nothing in terms of gameplay....and even her fans realize she is dumb as a doorknob. Jordan winning would prove that even a Chimp could win BB and that is the last thing the producers of this show want.

"Too late."
Posted by Estee on 09-01-09 at 04:30 PM
I'm pretty sure Adam already proved a chimp could win BB. I'm even more certain people are filling in their own chimps: there's more than one winner you could make the simian argument for.

But just as arguably, Natalie would set the all-time standard. She's already spent the entire game flinging her own feces.

"Bad day for the Lyin' Twins"
Posted by AyaK on 09-01-09 at 11:30 PM
Kevin and gNat spent the whole day together, playing their usual nasty pranks on Michele and Jeff. This was probably a mistake, because Jordumb asked Jeff three more times what she should do once Jeff's not there, and Jeff got to tell her three more times to stick with Michele against gNat and Kevin.

Why this was a mistake was that Jordumb had convinced herself that gNat was her friend and Michele was her enemy. But now Jeff has told her four times that that's wrong. All he has to do is tell her that five or six more times, and maybe it will penetrate her cement head.

But it seems that Kevin is a little insecure about gNat's honesty. Can't imagine why.

Meanwhile, gNat said that, when she woke up, she had been dreaming that someone was sticking pins in her all night. I'd like to know who had the voodoo doll that actually worked.

1. The target must have at least a tiny amount of belief in the process.

2. The target must know they're being targeted.

Put those together and there's just one reasonable conclusion: the rats in the walls have become vindictive.

Maybe that's why Natalie's afraid to shower. Anything washed away could be used against her.

Her personal hygiene habits indicate she'd be a prime candidate for bringing in something like lice or bed bugs into the house.

"Drunk gNat"
Posted by AyaK on 09-02-09 at 07:50 AM
gNat started drinking the Mike's Hard Lemonade at dinner and kept drinking it while they were playing cards until she was at her height of obnoxiousness. Her heavy-handed attempts to play up to Jordan last night were noted by both Jeff and Michele.

And still none of the HGs asked why an "18-year-old" was allowed to get drunk on national TV? It bothered Jeff that an "18-year-old' had booze while he didn't, and he complained to Jordan & Michele about it, but once again none of them put it together.

Maybe, just maybe, one of them will ask the DR today. I'd expect the DR would want to discuss gNat's behavior last night anyway.

Some tidbits from last night from Jokers updates:

-------------------------

"Mich: Nat decided to give me her shirt and now I understand, it smells so bad.
Jord: What does it smell like?
Mich: French fries and food."

"Nat asks Kevin to go upstairs and get her medicine for her. He reminded her that she has his HOH key around her neck. Then he goes and get the medicine. "

"Natalie announces that she's going to get drunk tonight."

"Kevin is sitting in the bathroom with Nat while she takes her shower. She has the alcohol in there with her."

"Jeff says he wonders if Kevin is going to wash under Nat's arms for her too. He said he finds it pretty funny."

"In the past 20 mins or so. J/J/M have all been in the green room. They discusses the ant situation.. with M pointint out how many dirty dishes are in the RR. She says they leave candy rappers all over too. Mentions she found sugar spilled all over the kitchen counter."

--------------------

J/J/M must have a lot of self control to not hassle N and K about their slovenly habits and how it attracts ants...I would probably go in the red room with a trash can and ask them gather up all of their candy wrappers and throw them away and then escort them to the kitchen to see the sugar spilled on the counter....and ask them to clean it up; but then I wouldn't get their jury vote, I guess, lol.

-------------------------------

And here's how Jeff feels about getting voted out:

"Jord: Are you even going to give a speech on Thursday?

Jeff: Yeah, lick these nuts.

Jord: No when we are in the green chair and get up?

Jeff: I'm just going to wing it. I don't like it when you ask me the same question with different words.

Jeff: Why are you so all about Jeff now?

Jord: I always am.

Jeff: No, it's 'cuz I'm leaving.

Jord: Nuh uh."

------------------

And Nat turns on Kevin:

"Nat tells Kev to stop with the dirty looks 'cause she doesn't like it. Says he's "mad dogging" her. Says she'll take his hoodies and burn them all."

"at to Kev: What's that look for Kevin? Is that look supposed to make me scared? 'Cause it doesn't.

Kev seems very annoyed by Nat's actions and personality tonight. "

" says she's tired of dirty looks from K. And K says well I'm tired of you. LOL"

And then she says:

"Nat: You should cuddle with me tonight Jordan, instead of Jeff"

"Jeff's last gamble"
Posted by AyaK on 09-02-09 at 02:56 PM
Jeff repeats his offer to gNat, who has been pretending to be his friend to try to get his and Jordan's vote from the jury house: keep me over Jordan, and both Michele and I will let you win the next HoH, and we'll target Kevin.

gNat tried her usual "Michele is a liar" tactic in her reply, and Jeff replied that she wasn't making a deal with Michele, she was making a deal with Jeff that Jeff would enforce -- and if she turned it down and Michele or Jordan won next HoH, they would boot her ... and if that failed, then Jeff and whichever other of them was in the jury house wouldn't vote for her if she made F2.

The offer has no chance of succeeding, but it might finally make Dumb and Dumber realize that gNat isn't their friend and never was.

gNat weasels out of replying to Jeff's offer by claiming that she has bad cramping and needs a heating pad, and she can't talk game any longer until she gets it.

I wonder if Nat will get ratted out in the jury house...the way they were all comparing notes after Jesse left. Will the jury house members compare notes on Nat after Jeff gets to the house? I would think so. Makes for good discussion while getting a tan.

I wouldn't be surprised if she makes it to the Final 2. If not, there's no need to worry about her being ratted out on.

Anyway, Natalie's thinking of changing her vote -- if she gets the Hawaiian trip Jeff has and the TV screen Michele won. The question is if BB is willing to go along with that. Not too surprised -- she has to get something for her troubles.

Hi- I've been a lurker forever, and I don't get the feeds or watch BBAD, so I usually get all of my (behind the scenes) information here. Unfortunately- I'm still a big Jeff fan, although it looks pretty hopeless at this point. I read a recap of last night's episode on ET, and then I was reading the comments, and some people were writing that there was going to be more to the golden key that Jeff found. I think they are wrong, but I know you guys were saying that the BB Producers wanted Jeff to win, so they would maybe find a way to save him at the last minute. But you people always know what's going on- what do you think? Thanks!

"RE: Jeff's last gamble"

I think I would call Shenanigans on the show and root against Jeff in the Final 4 with all my might.

If it gives Jeff an extra power, he certainly doesn't know about it, since he's been wheeling and dealing the past two days. It could be that the producers will spring the twist on them on Thursday, but that's seeming more unlikely now. Big Brother is notorious for advertising the twists in advance like says, "Watch Thursday as a huge twist turns the game upside down!" This Tuesday episode, there wasn't anything like that.

I basically agree with Jims02. It still wouldn't surprise me if there were some kind of a twist involved with the key (which Jeff still has), but if it were somehow going to save him this week, CBS would have started to hype it on the show.

I expect that Jeff has to leave the key to someone before he goes, and the key then has some kind of power that we see later (such as a second POV in the F4). Maybe it's just a red herring, but it seemed too blatant to be one. However, it doesn't have anything to add for this week's elimination.

"Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by Estee on 09-03-09 at 08:15 AM
As BelleBook reported last night, she's been trying to make a trade with Jeff and Michele: the former's vacation and the later's TV in exchange for Natalie's voting Jordan out and (potentially) putting Kevin up if she gets the next HoH. This deal needs the permission of the wall-dwelling rats to happen, so it's on hold. It also requires Jeff and Michele to expect Natalie's telling the truth about her side of the bargain, which is never a good idea. Natalie's already decided that if they're stupid enough to fall for this too, she's fully entitled to keep their prizes while doing whatever she wants in the vote department anyway. It's not as if their voting against her from the jury will make any difference.

What Natalie did not need DR permission to do was rig the kitchen faucet so it would spray Michele in the face, which she's now done at least twice. She also didn't seek out sanction for covering the toilet with plastic wrap (with Kevin's assistance) to catch Jeff unawares. When he didn't get angry at the discovery, Natalie told Jeff that Michele had clear-coated the opening. Because that's just the sort of person Michele is.

I'm surprised she didn't try to convince Michele that our Last Tolerable Hamster had rigged the faucet to spray herself.

You'd think that at some point, the editing would have to show some of this. You'd hope. But as long as she stays in control, you'll probably be wrong...

"RE: Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by kingfish on 09-03-09 at 08:34 AM
What would keep either Michele and/or Jeff from A) reneging if Gnat holds up her end of the deal, or B) reneging if she doesn't?

An intrapersonal deal would have to be consummated on their own time, after the show. One would think.

If a deal between hamsters isn't made to be binding somehow, Jeff and Michele should give Gnat anything she asks for, on the slight possibility that Gnat will fulfill her end.

This is, of course, an academic point; these people are way past rational planning.

In fact right now they're more like Pavlov's dogs performing a Rorschach blot test while running a mouse maze.

"RE: Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by Estee on 09-03-09 at 08:43 AM
It may be as simple as 'Whoever holds the piece of laminated paper is the winner of that prize'. And no take-backs. But if it was that simple, Natalie would have been stealing the cards all along -- most personal possessions can be tampered with, a prize token falls into that category, and the rulebook seems to be exactly that stupid...

"RE: Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by kingfish on 09-03-09 at 08:57 AM
But wouldn't it be ironic justice if Gnat were to get Jeff and or Michele to agree to a deal that involved them giving up their booty, then have Gnat hold up her end while they screwed her?

Surely the producers would let us see the video of her reaction to that.

The last recourse of a grifter that has been grifted, however, is a lawsuit. In which the video of the agreement would come into play.

"RE: Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by AyaK on 09-03-09 at 11:12 AM
gNat would never go along with the deal. Never. She'd always backstab.

Last night was interesting in that she told Michele that she and Kevin only have a final four deal and basically spent her time making sure that Michele was targeting Kevin.

I think she's going to throw HoH again and count on Michele to do the dirty work to boot Kevin. Of course, she'll stick with Kevin if she has to (for example, if he wins POV), but I think all of her talk about winning HoH and POV is bluff for Kevin's jury vote. She has to know perfectly well that she wants to be in the F2 versus Jordan (who she'll beat), not versus Kevin (who would win), and this is her chance to get rid of Kevin without getting her hands dirty.

Once Kevin is gone, she can devote full time to charming Jordumb, and it should be a snap for her, since she deceived Jordumb so easily while Jeff was still there.

>The last recourse of a grifter

which would be followed by a video of Natalie promising Jeff safety if he didnt put them up.....followed by a video of her a few seconds later saying that they'll get rid of him if he's dumb enough to believe it.

In other words, it's well known that lying and deal breaking are a part of reality competition shows, and I don't think any court system would entertain a lawsuit based on a lie in the Big Brother house...or that any jury would award someone anything because they were lied to and believed it.

"RE: Natalie's emotional age: four (and dropping)."
Posted by kingfish on 09-03-09 at 03:25 PM
If that scenario were to play out (Gnat fulfilling her end, but Jeff/and or Michele not handing her the loot), I can almost guarantee that the fine print rule book reading Gnat would be so mad that she would try a lawsuit. Anyone can sue anyone else for breach of promise. You don't need a viable case to file the lawsuit.

But no, Ayak is surely right, Gnat will promise anything, but she won't deviate from her course which is whatever gets her to the end, and fulfilling her end of the agreement isn't in the cards.

Tribal art.
