"Big Brother 11 Week 3 ECST"

Okay. Take two. As a result of the Skeeball/Catapault HoH Competition, Jesse is the HoH for the second time this season already. (His third overall, the first one that he's earned this season.......)

Please keep the TV-edited details of all the drama of this week of Jocktatorship until the end of the Live Eviction show this week, or at least after the next HoH is determined........

Note for Sunday watchers: CBS once again has golf, and this week it's the Canadian Open, which has had a ton of rain. In fact, they only had completed two rounds by the end of Saturday......... so a delay is inevitable, possibly up to an hour or more......

Thanks for the DVR alert! I'd hate to try to watch it later and only find golf instead of the nom ceremony.

Ronnie's persona non grata, due to his double dealings.

Ronnie thanked his stars that Jesse got the HoH, and Kevin heard him! Kevin realizes that Jesse is probably the only one who Ronnie could possibly convince to not send him out the backdoor, which the rest of the house wants.......

Michele's worried that because she allegedly doesn't have an alliance, that Jesse might see her as a threat, then, because her vote's out in the open......

Even Natalie and Russell, who currently outwardly show that they want Ronnie gone, can't persuade Jesse, his reasoning? "Ronnie hasn't lied to me. (yet)"

Russel, who made a secret deal with Ronnie, is also playing all sides of the house, but he's being a lot sneakier about it.....

Natalie/Russell, worried that Casey almost won HoH and what his reaction will be once Ronnie doesn't get backdoored, want him out bad!

Casey, while outside with Jeff/Jordan, mouths off about Jesse sticking to the house's wishes to get rid of Ronnie. Then, when Natalie comes out, Casey says that Jesse better stick to the plan if he doesn't want another target placed on his back..... which Natalie reports back to Jesse up in the Chess perch.......

Should be Sunday, Segment 2......

Now we get some sickening scenes: The Jesse-Lydia and Jesse-Natalie showmances, or showmangle........

Huh? He calls both himself and Lydia caterpillars that occasionally become beautiful butterflies once people get to know them...... *headshake*

Meanwhile, Ronnie's trying to rebuild some of the burnt bridges..... but Michele's not buying what Ronnie's selling....

Michele heads up to the HoH room to try to get on Jesse's side, but he's not buying it, since this is the first time she's talked to him in like, ever! And her attempts of selling her safety fall flat, as well......

"Sunday, Segment 3"
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 02:08 PM
Jordan complains about the trials of being a Have-Not: 24/7 Slop, Cold showers, and sleeping in the Jail Room which is cold and uncomfortable..........

Which perfectly segues into:

Have/Have Not Competition!

Jesse with a Gawdawful Soutthern/Redneck accent during the hosting duties...... *headdesk*

Big Brother's throwing a Backyard Bash! Athletes are guaranteed Haves. The other cliques with multiple members will only have one member competing against Jordan for the Popular clique.........

Chima will represent the Brains, and Kevin will represent the Offbeats.........

Looks like it's Keg Racing time!

Race around the course and collect an "ice cube", then throw it into one of the other clique's cups. Clique with the most ice in their cups will be Have Nots! Also, they will be wearing BB "Beer Goggles"

Jordan ended up throwing multiple cubes into her own cup! With 5 minutes left to go, the keg in the middle of the course started spewing out foam!

(I swear that they had the houseguests count the cubes with their own Southern accent..... *sigh*)

Offbeats: 12 cubes
Popular: 11 cubes (Jordan's safe!)
Brains: 13 cubes, Offbeats are safe!

Now they get to see what America's Choce is for bonus food items are: Cabbage and Cocktail Weenies!

Chima's complaining that Ronnie is liking the Cocktail Weenies.... (if she only knew what the other two options were....)

The next America's Choice for the Have/Have Not bonus foods choice is:

Squash/Squid
Brussels Sprouts/Borscht
Liverwurst/Black Licroice

Russell and Kevin have a bonding session on the hammock.

Lydia details the shifting bedding assignments, due to the Have/Have Not status. Natalie has kept her bed to herself the whole time...... When it was suggested that Natalie share her bed with Lydia, massive arguments ensued. The fallout of which was Lydia stayed up all night, angrily cleaning, and Natalie complained up in the HoH to Jesse. When Jesse came to the bathroom to try to get Lydia up to the HoH to settle the peace, Lydia declined.......

Nomination time!

Athletes are automatically safe, of course.....

Chima is safe
Kevin is safe
Casey is safe
Lydia is safe
Ronnie is safe.

Jordan and Michele are the nominations. Jesse DR's that he hopes that he wins the POV so he can backdoor someone that he wants out of the house..... Ronnie's happy that his "Dead Man Walking" status was pardoned by Jesse the HoH/Governor.......

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by jbug on 07-30-09 at 03:43 PM
So that's what Russel & Kevin were doing ? LOL

I don't understand why anyone has to share a bed.
1 person has the HOH bed; and 2 others have left the house.
Why aren't there enough beds to go around?

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 03:56 PM
No clue. Only thing I can figure is that when they converted a room into the Jail room they took out beds and ran out of room.... either that or those beds are really double occupancy.....

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by jbug on 07-30-09 at 04:21 PM
See if you can count the beds in each room.

I think when they all first moved in, they were one bed short & 2 people had to share. But after Braden & Laura left, that should have freed up a bed.

Maybe it's just BB messing with us.

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 04:43 PM
Yeah, but when they converted to the Jail Room, that room's beds went poof. However, with 3 in the room this week compared to two, then one last week, you'd think there would be less beds that needed to be shared........ unless there aren't that many double beds in reality.......

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by zazzy on 07-30-09 at 07:44 PM
I wondered about that, too. How many are there? And what do u mean converted to a Jail room?

Are you feeling any better, Vince?

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by Snidget on 07-30-09 at 08:01 PM
I think the Have Not room is a shared bed, I thought it was one big bed rather than separate ones. So if you've been in there you've had to share.

I figured it was more about the showmangle than any actual bed issue. Other than Nat doesn't like to move beds every week when people move in and out of the HOH and Have Not room.

"RE: Segments 4 and 5"
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 08:06 PM
Originally there were 3 bedrooms. One of them got converted into the Have Not Room which a few of the other places are calling the Jail Room......

See if you can count the beds in each room.

The Pool room has 5 available places to sleep. 2 twin beds, 1 double bed, and they took all the pool floats and piled them on the floor for someone to sleep on, but it's not an actual bed.

The Red bedroom has 4 twin beds, no doubles.

The Have Not room used to have 4 beds, but now it's just a huge platform with thin cushions.

The bed issue happens on Thursday nights when the Have Nots no longer have to sleep in that room, and there aren't enough beds for everyone. I think that issue will be solved now. There are 10 people left, 9 places to sleep and 1 person will be up in the HOH. Although, I'm sure no one really wants to sleep on pool floats, so maybe 1 more week of sleeping arrangement fights.

ETA- Jordan and Lydia usually share the double bed in the pool room.

"Nominations Fallout"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:11 PM
Jesse DR'd that he hopes to take one of the nominees down to backdoor someone...... the house is hoping that it's Ronnie being shown the backdoor..... but Jesse is thinking more like Casey, due to him badmouthing Jesse to Natalie, and then Natalie blabbed.

Jesse sees Ronnie as an asset, either as another target or someone to help him further along......

The joke of the house is that when Michele entered the Jail Room, Ronnie asked to be her choice if she gets the "Houseguest Choice" chip.......... much laughter ensued after she informed those in the kitchen, except Russell..........

Jesse is trying to figure out why those leading the "evict Ronnie" bandwagon are doing so..... and convince them to not continue their pursuit, especially once he backdoors someone else, namely Casey.

"RE: Nominations Fallout"
Posted by Snidget on 07-28-09 at 09:13 PM
Sure Ronnie lied but he doesn't necessarily have much power in the house so can be used as a vote where there are other people that may not go Jessie's way.

Now if he'd just figure out Natalie was the hinky vote as I really don't think she's going to be near as loyal as he thinks she is.

"RE: Nominations Fallout"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:21 PM
The thing is, though, as long as the cliques are in place, Jesse can't touch Natalie if he's in power.......

"RE: Nominations Fallout"
Posted by Snidget on 07-28-09 at 09:23 PM
Can't do anything now, but the athletes can't stay in power forever, can they?

3 in 9 chance in the next HoH......

"Truth or Dare"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:18 PM
Kevin had to cuddle with Jesse for 10 seconds...... he was up in the HoH, sleeping.

Ronnie then had Ronnie hug Casey for 20 seconds...... and afterwards, Casey wasn't too pleased. In fact he's ticked/grumpy!

"POV Competition"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:20 PM
Jesse picks Jeff
Michele picks Casey
Jordan picks Chima

Natalie will be the host.

Casey's ecstatic that Ronnie won't be in the POV at all, but Jesse's not happy that Casey's in the POV.......

It's time for the annual Prize/Punishment POV!

"RE: POV Competition"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:36 PM
Truffles with mystery point values. They can only keep 4 truffles. Some truffles have temptations, which are prizes...... if they're locked in, one less for points. If they think a truffle's point is too low, they can discard it.....

Highest point total wins POV!

Everyone swings in from their platform on a rope into a mudpit (with possible manure in there, too....)

Casey has a 10 and then a margarita party..... which he hopes will win him favor with the house......

Extra temptation: If you're not happy with your points, you can choose an envelope which might have bonus points, take away points, or give some kind of prize......

Jesse: $2500 and 26 points with a 5 point bonus envelope for a total of 31!

Jordan: 24 points, no envelope, eliminated.

Jeff: 27 points with a 5 point penalty envelope for a total of 22 points, eliminated.

Chima: 25 points, no envelope, eliminated.

Casey: Margarita party, 22 points with a banana suit! Casey's eliminated and humiliated with the "wa-wa" music!

Michele: 28 points with a 7 point bounus envelope for a total of 35 points! Michele wins the POV! She's told to swing over, and she wipes out on the haybale before the mudpit and faceplants!

"Angry Banana Casey"

Casey gets called to the DR and puts on the Banana Suit, and needless to say, he's not happy.......

"RE: Angry Banana Casey"

Well, I think the "getting laughed at" part doesn't help........

"Veto meeting"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 09:57 PM
Michele takes herself off of the block.

Jesse puts Banana Casey up om the block....... and he's really not happy about that....... Jordan snaps at Ronnie who she thought was looking at her.....

Ronnie gloats in the DR. Casey and Jordan both vow revenge in the DR.

Huge announcement on Thursday! (Maybe it's time to end the Cliques?)

"RE: Veto meeting"
Posted by zazzy on 07-28-09 at 10:18 PM
That's what I thought. However, I think the cliques have worn a rut that will be hard to get out of for some.

What do you think? Jordin to win the HOH? They certainly showed her DR clip to foreshadow it, lol.

"RE: Veto meeting"
Posted by vince3 on 07-28-09 at 10:26 PM
Jordan's best shot at an HoH might be endurance......... which we are certainly due for........

"RE: Veto meeting"
Posted by michel on 07-28-09 at 10:22 PM
At least, they've stopped asking the other nominee to plead for the veto. That's new, isn't it?

The theme of the episode was: Let's get Casey mad. What a horrible season up to now.

"RE: Veto meeting"
Posted by zazzy on 07-29-09 at 08:21 AM
I thought it was because it was obvious that Michelle would take herself off the block....if someone other than Michelle or Jordan had the POV, wouldn't BB have had them do the pleas?

"RE: Veto meeting"
Posted by michel on 07-29-09 at 08:26 AM
Yes, but in previous seasons they would ask the nominee to plead their case even when the POV had been won by the other nominee.

You mean wait until the jury pool was formed? Definitely was another possibility.......

"Okay....."
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 08:13 PM
After we see Jeff complain to Casey about how Jesse sent Casey to the nomination chair, via his speech/outfit, we see Lydia heading up to the HoH bedroom and, I guess she had the key for some reason......

She watched him sleep for a little bit, and then DR'd that she could do very mean things to him if she was ticked off at him...... *cue psycho music*

And now we see some of Casey's campaigning while Jordan will just let him self-destruct.......

"RE: Okay....."
Posted by Estee on 07-30-09 at 08:16 PM
Lydia just ran out of editing lvoe. There's virtually no chance of this leading to a revelation of the two-finger strategy, but at least her dark side is starting to emerge on main camera.

Julie's purple top looks like a purple bag -- or a bunch of grapes, which will go quite nicely with Casey's banana suit when he's sitting beside her in a few minutes.

"Time to vote"
Posted by vince3 on 07-30-09 at 08:32 PM
At least they didn't force Casey to wear the hood part of the Banana Suit.......

Casey's speech includes a spiel about not voting like mindless sheep and following the orders of the Diary Room!

Jeff votes Casey
Ronnie votes Casey (and then some)
Natalie (high five!) Casey

Commercial break...... if there's gonna be a Rally it's now time for it......

"RE: Time to vote"

Chima votes Casey
Russell votes Jordan
Michele votes Casey
Lydia (with fake mustache!) votes Casey
Kevin (dramatic pose!) votes Casey

By a vote of 7-1, Casey's evicted.

Look at the way they're dressed: Very comfortable clothing....

Casey shoots barbs on the way out toward Jesse, and Natalie intercepts them!

Michele has correctly guessed that it's time to breakup the cliques!

However, there will now be a mystery power that can be used in the next two weeks! Only the person who receives it will know what it is..... (and us!)

Having the HoH/POV are the only way to guarantee their safety!

It's the REVENGE OF THE COUP D'ETAT!

This grants the winner the right to change the nominees! Only the HoH and the POV holder will be immune!

Also note that unless you go through the CBS website, Endemol is collecting money for your opinion. Try to avoid giving them any. They're not exactly spending it on the casting process.

First 5 eliminated get a "graduation present" from Big Brother, one of which is $5,000!

"The coup is lame."
Posted by Jims02 on 07-30-09 at 11:27 PM
As much as I don't like to see the show be a complete runaway, I think the coup d'etat is a pretty awful idea. You know that the Jeff/Jordan/Michelle alliance sucks really bad when Big Brother has to throw them this twist, just to stay competitive. They knew they were going to do this twist, so it's pretty easy to make whoever they want into America's Darling.

I'm not overly upset because I like Jeff, so it's not going to be completely horrible when he inevitably wins it. But the twist seems too manipulative by the producers. It's kind of pathetic to see how low production's expectations are in Jeff/Jordan/Michelle. It would be funny if one of them finally did win HOH for a change.

"RE: The coup is lame."
Posted by jbug on 07-31-09 at 09:22 AM
What is the coup & what does it mean?
In BB house of course...

"RE: The coup is lame."
Posted by zazzy on 07-31-09 at 11:37 AM
The Coup D'Etat is where America votes the power to one player who has to keep it secret until they use it.

The power is to nullify one or both of the noms and then be the one to name the replacement(s). It is good for 2 weeks so it may not come into play right away (or at all).

Jeff seems to be a leading candidate to win the power.

So the hamsters don't know who will have/who has the power or what it is for sure, but Ronnie who is a student of BB has already guessed that it could be the Coup D'Etat. Jokers board was saying Ronnie's gaming buds would probably write an autovoter app to get Ronnie to win the power. We'll see!
