As soon as the feeds returned, Chima's in a screaming match with all those who voted to keep Braden, especially Michele.....

The Chima bomb has gone off!

You say annoying, I say (temporarily) magnificent.

And in the case of Jeff & Jordan, accurate.

Well, that's different: There's a "we'll be right back" now on the feeds with a shot at the control room.......

I think this HoH will make or break Ronnie: He told the Jeff/Jordan/Laura group that he was thinking of putting up something like Russel/Lydia with Jesse as replacement, but there was also talk of Kevin vs. someone as a pawn......

Now he's with Chima/Russell/Jesse shooting the breeze.......

Ronnie is the last person that needed to win HOH this week. IMHO...no matter who he picks? The other half will be urinated off. Can Chima pet please oh please go home this week? She is so freakin annoying.

ETA: Ronnie being the player he is doesn't need to show his cards so early.

The group that was trying to save Braden (Jeff, Jordan, Laura) were trying to figure out who backstabbed them and made the tying vote to evict Braden........ It took them a while of comparing notes to figure out that Ronnie was the one, even though he was telling them he voted to evict Chima and Michele voted to evict Braden.......... Also, Jeff's finally figured out that they can use the "you voted for the bigot" against them....

Casey's on the outs with his fellow Outcasts, especially because he voted to evict Chima, while the other two voted to evict Braden.....

Here's how the habitat is divided (right now...)

Friends/Allies of Ronnie: Jessie, Natalie, Russell, Kevin, Lydia, Chima

Currently Hosed: Jeff, Casey, Laura, Michele (even if she's safe this week....), Jordan

So Ronnie voted against Braden, which was (I guess) part of whatever alliance deals he was making with Jessie/Russell etc. This, in spite of his conniving against them, and of Russell giving him a hard time.

OK. I guess I get that. (OK, not really, it seems to me that he is just plotting to be plotting, and not with any real overall strategy in mind. But for the sake of argument lets just say that makes sense.)

But now he tells the bigots that he wants to put up Russell/Jessie/Lydia?

Except for the fact that these guys are morons, why would anyone believe him now? Oh wait, they are morons.

The odd thing is that with his weird scheming mentality, it might make sense (to him only) to turn 180 degrees (yes Jordan, that means change direction completely) , and actually do that.

"RE: Oh, the drama"

I don't get Ronnie's gameplay at all. I get the fact that he's going for the "honest Iago" school of gameplay where he stirs the pot and makes other people knock themselves out. But he's certainly not being very subtle about it. What's the point of telling Braden beforehand, especially if you want him to not try to change the outcome? There's no point. It's just stirring the pot for no good reason, and it'll get you found out by people like Russell.

I guess it's arrogance. He thinks he can force a tie and then lie about the vote, and then expect to get away with it. Which is extremely stupid, because all the people do in BB is sit around thinking about the game. The hamsters are stupid, but even an idiot can put things together if you give them 48 hours to do so.

Jordan has the best line I've seen so far. Wish I could find it on youtube ...

Ronnie has to tell her his big secret, that he's really a Superhero because he is a Master Debater. She's been drinking (like it mattered) and gives him a look somewhere between blank and inquisitive.
He continues: "You know, I can persuade people. I can use their arguments against them."

A light bulb goes on and Jordan responds, "Oh, so you're the bad guy!"

Truer words were never spoken ... even when she didn't know what she was talking about.

Ronnie is the biggest overplayer I've ever seen. He's got heck to pay after this week.
But I'm sure he's going to play it like "this is how I planned it all along." He may challenge Jessie for the Ego Award before it's over.
Well, he could be the runner-up to Mr. Ego, anyway.
Not a team player in any way. I guess he could go a long way, but by alienating himself so early, he will become the one guy the entire house can agree on when they boot him.
The longer he stays, though, the more value he has to one side or the other.

And Russell does have game, doesn't he?
I mean, he sussed Ronnie right out for informing Braden that Braden would be going up. He's got good senses. Not your average Jessie-like "beefcake."

"Currently Hosed: Jeff, Casey, Laura, Michele (even if she's safe this week....), Jordan "

Agree. So why wouldn't Ronnie nom someone from this group? Get rid of Jeff or Casey if he feels threatened by them...why go for Russell and Jesse now? Who will protect Ronnie next week?

I agree with Kingfish...Ronnie seems to be plotting for the sake of plotting instead of being strategic.

Or is he trying to become the "most hated person" in the house so therefore no one would want to see him win and so they'll decide to keep him so they can win against him? Isn't it too early for that to emerge as a strat?

"RE: Oh, the drama"

Ronnie seems to also be obsessed with being on AllStars 2. What is he doing? Playing for the future? He seems to want to show off his BB knowledge at the expense of his present game. Will he have anyone on his side by next week?

Thanks for the links, Snidget. This first link has a short interview that I think is just lifted from the longer interview. The longer one is over 15 minutes! I don't recall Julie doing such a long post boot interview.

Julie was ready for him. The "whore" comment may have gotten to her so she was ready to put him on the spot, yet in a cool journalistic manner.

She was really trying to get him to own up to his comments...and that was some of the most double speak I have heard in a long time.

She hinted to things for the audience by asking Brandon what woman in his life he most respects.

Yet at the end he showed he can answer the true false questions. I wonder what part of his answers was an act and what part is just how he is.

Working my way through this EW recap by Josh Wolk...and this had me lol:

"And what of Lydia? For the first couple of days after being nominated with pawn Chima, she played the Offbeat martyr role well: Targeted by a cocky brute, she could weep into her tattoos about how nobody accepted her, and it made sense. She sucked up to the Athletes to save her, at first without much enthusiasm: When Jessie asked her for a massage, she said, ''Dude, let me just go get the lotion, we'll make a party out of it'' with the kind of sad, resigned tone that a prostitute who really needs the money might use when a kinky client asks her to change his diaper. So basically we're looking at a week of whine-cry-cry-complain-beyotch-whine-cry-cry-cry-dehydrate. And if either or both get nominated, there's a chance of ending that with 'quit'.

Wonder which one will try to showmance Ronnie just to get a nap in his HoH bed.

Ronnie wants to get rid of Russell, because he fears him trying to get rid of the Brains if he doesn't beat him to the punch. Chima is trying to get him to keep the Brain/Brawn alliance together.....

Nominations still to come tonight, and Chima's desire is Laura/Jeff, but I think Ronnie would prefer to keep Jeff around.....

It sounds like Casey might have won some kind of bonus during the Have/Have Not competition, but he's not completely happy about it.......

Interestingly enough, Russell was the last key in the wheel...... Ronnie tried to play it like he didn't want to reveal the alliance so much but he failed.......

Russell might've added fuel to the "Let's backdoor Russell" fire...... he's mended fences with Jeff........ and has been seen talking to Laura and Jordan, which has sent Natalie into snitch mode......

It also didn't help that when Russell asked a question to stop talking game, when Lydia answered him, he verbally snapped at her..........

Also, Ronnie is claiming that he wants to somehow take Jeff and Jordan far in this game...... (probably as his bodyguards/human shields once this week is over......)

Russell, Natalie, and Casey will join Ronnie, Jeff and Laura in the POV competition.

Lydia will be the host.

Let's hope either Russell or Natalie -- or maybe even Casey -- don't win the Power of Veto. I'd like to see Russell go on the chopping block, so if Ronnie wins it he can just use it on either Jeff or Laura (more likely Jeff) and put Russell up.

"POV Winner"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-18-09 at 09:14 PM
After another 4 hour feed blackout, we learn that Jeff won the POV. As of right now, it seems Jordan will be his replacement, and Laura will be going home. I really don't want any of that group going home, but I'm glad that at least Jeff is safe.

Comp had something to do with counting money.

"RE: POV Winner"
Posted by Estee on 07-18-09 at 09:16 PM
Well, no wonder it took four hours. This group can't get to twenty-one or higher without undressing.

Counting money? Highest total wins, but that total is taken off the grand prize if you win? The show's exactly that cheap...

"Veto competition over."
Posted by Estee on 07-18-09 at 09:14 PM
The feeds just came back after a four-hour blackout, and first reports are making it look like Jeff took The Bling Of One-Week Safety. I don't think there's any way he can be talked into not using it on himself, much less waste it with a save of Laura -- so the question now becomes 'Who's Ronnie going to mistalk himself into backdooring?'

Sure, it might look like Russell now, but that was really so five minutes ago.

I'd just like to say that the bathroom feedmaster needs to be fired. Usually they mute their mics when someone enters the toilet, but I have heard more people peeing in this past week than I did through all of last years feeds. Thankfully I haven't yet been treated to the sound of a deuce, but I'm sure it's coming.

I know you all wanted to know that. You're welcome.

"RE: Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Week 2: Ronnie's House of Cards goes boom"

Sounds like there were a couple other winners in the POV:

Someone won $5000, which Chima complained should be upped to $10K.......
Natalie won a slop pass (only good for slop, must still stay in the Jail/Doom/Have Not room and take cold showers.....) Natalie complained that it should be converted into a Have pass, basically, for this season's twist........

Posted by SilverStar on 07-18-09 at 10:07 PM
Ugh! Natalie's slop pass is apparently a SEASON LONG pass, when it's usually only for a week, and she's effing complaining that it doesn't exempt her from the jail room and cold showers. Ungrateful little *bleeeeeeeeeep*

LAST EDITED ON 07-19-09 AT 00:45 AM (EST)

Lots of interesting conversations tonight.

Ronnie was originally going to put Jordan up on the block after Jeff took himself down. The plan was to get rid of Laura. He brought Jeff and Jordan up to the HOH room and tried to weasel his way out of admitting it, but Jeff basically called him on all his crap and told him that he knows Ronnie is a liar, has been lying to him all week and he is not going to talk about game with him anymore because he knows Ronnie can't be trusted. It was pretty much awesome. Ronnie FINALLY admitted to Jeff/Jordan that he did lie about his vote to evict Chima, but of course he tried to spin it and say that he did it in their best interest. God, this guy. I can't even handle him. So, J/J were also trying to get him to say whether he was going to backdoor Russell (which Ronnie has stated was the plan all along) and he wouldn't. He was saying that he wanted Laura out, and didn't think they'd be able to get out Russell, and gee shucks guys I'm sorry my plan didn't work.

Meanwhile, in the recycle room, Chima/Lydia/Kevin were all talking about how it would be a great idea to get Russell out this week. (They all turned on him last night because he dared to talk to the "other side" and he also shouted a little at Lydia which of course she blew up into thinking that he was actually going to physically harm her. I can't handle her, either.) So then Lydia goes up to HOH they propose the BD Russell plan to her and she's all for it and tells them that Chima and Kevin are, too. Of course now Ronnie the Rat changes his whole tune and is all "yeah, let's do it! It'll be the biggest move ever! But you guys have to protect me next week." He's such a pansy.

A little while later, Ronnie/Chima/Kevin/Lydia pull Jordan up to HOH and tell her that they're going to BD Russell, but she has to promise that next week if she wins HOH she won't put any of them up (like, why does she really owe them anything?) and they also don't want her to tell Laura that she will be saved because they want her to "grovel" and be grateful that THEY saved her. But Lydia still hates her and wants her out next week. Then they all gang up on Jordan and tell her that she must start playing the game! Jordan's all "huh? I thought I was" but of course to them laying low and not being an idiot bully isn't "playing the game." Lydia said she was just playing summer beach party and tanning all the time. I can't believe these people. They are such a-holes! Oh, and somehow I guess this whole plan depends on Jessie's ok and safety, but I'm not sure how or why. These people are so in awe of him, they're playing his game for him! And earlier Natalie set aside a plate of pizza for him, like he can't serve himself. They wait on him hand and foot and it's weird and confusing.

OH! and one more thing (I'm really on a Lydia hating streak tonight). She said that she hates it when females act weak and don't stand up for themselves and act like victims and that's why she hates Laura. I can't even wrap my mind around this statement because that is exactly what Lydia does. She was so frightened last night that big bad Russ was going to hurt her, and she hates Jeff because he didn't defend her (why is that his job, again?) Seriously, haaaaaaaaaate.

ETA- Sorry if any of this is confusing. I'm not so good at doing detailed reports because these people talk so damn much and I can't remember everything that was said. And of course I have my biases against people I do and don't like.

Lydia and Chima need to learn these words to tell the DR: "I would like ________ thrown out on a rules violation, any physical attack being grounds for instant eviction...." and then just see if Russell will be dumb enough to actually follow through his words with physical violence.......

As far as the Jessie worship? Yeesh. I just have to hope he annoys them enough for the gang eviction.......

SS, I know exactly how you feel. The house talk is sooo frustrating because each little outburst by anyone is talked about, rehashed, recounted, explained, talked about again, rehashed and the recounted again. After that? The cycle starts all over again. This is exactly why I can't/won't do the live feeds ever again.

As for Lydia, can someone just put her out of my misery? Watching the Big Brother After Dark feeds just about put me over the edge last night. When I see her on the screen I just want to flip the channel. She is sooooooooo playing the victim role and then she has the b*lls to call someone else out on it? WTF?

I too don't get the whole Jesse worship sh*t. AND AND Jesse eats it up! URGH!

"RE: Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Week 2: Ronnie's House of Cards goes boom"
Posted by Loree on 07-19-09 at 11:06 AM
I am starting to hope Jessie does outlast his followers because they deserve it. Then Jessie can be booted and someone that doesn't bow down to him can win.

The constant game talk and rehashing everything is what sent Russell to talk to the other side. Even he needed some fresh air. It finally became obvious to Russell that there were people in the house that were having other conversations and having fun. Instead of his little group that holed up in a room to ##### about everyone and the game over and over and over again. But wanting to associate with anyone else is considered unacceptable to Jessie's little minions.

"*sigh*"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-19-09 at 02:44 AM
King Jessie has spoken and the backdoor Russell plan is nullified. Talk now is to put Casey up and sent Laura out the door.

I'm so frustrated with these people. Frickin' spineless worms. Chima is the only one still really pushing for Russell, so hopefully she'll be able to sway Ronnie back. Not that I really want Russell to go, but I'd rather keep Laura because she's on the side of the house that I like.

I appreciate the updates, Thanks, Silverstar! Thanks, Vince!

I don't understand why Jesse was able to scuttle getting Russell out. Surely if so many were on the dump Russell bandwagon, then one person-Jesse would not be enough to stamp out that possibility?

Are they all afraid of last season weasel-Jesse coming out and they want to keep him appeased? I don't get it. People, come on, he is not a celeb. He came back in the gorilla suit for Pete's sake!

"RE: *sigh*"
Posted by volsfan on 07-19-09 at 11:11 AM
Well, I still have like 45 minutes of the late night show and Ronnie Rat talked to Jesse and he (Jesse) discussed reasons to keep Russell. However, in the end, Jesse left it by telling Ronnie to do whatever he thought was the best thing for him (Ronnie). He then told them that he would do whatever Ronnie Rat wanted him to do. But hail...that was over 8 hours ago. They prolly already have a plan in place to noot Casey by now.

"POV Ceremony"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-20-09 at 04:39 PM
In a move that surprised no one, Jeff took himself off the block and Ronnie replaced him with Jordan. It was going to be Casey going up, but Jordan told Ronnie off yesterday and called him on his BS, so of course the weasel used that as the reason to put her up. How dare anyone tell the truth in Ronnie's presence!

So who is the pawn? Or are they happy with either one going? Ronnie was shown on the show talking about Laura being bright enough to figure him out so he wants her over Jordan, right?

Why wouldn't Ronnie put up Russell? Did he extract a promise to not get nommed or voted out if nommed from Russell and others?

"RE: POV Ceremony"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-20-09 at 10:02 PM
>So who is the pawn?

As of right now, Jordan is the pawn and everyone wants Laura out.

>Why wouldn't Ronnie put up Russell?

Because he's a coward. And King Jessie told him not to.
If he had put Russell up, he had promises from Jeff, Jordan, Lydia, Chima and Kevin to vote Russell out (Casey and Michelle probably would have voted him out as well, but they weren't approached with the plan) and keep Ronnie safe next week. But King Jessie didn't like it (duh! Russell is in his clique, of course he wants to keep him!) so the plan died right there.

...and will begin soon in BB viewer land. Ronnie's been outed. And not in a good way. For him. I, on the other hand, am going to savor it for awhile.

It all started when Laura went up to HOH to talk to Ron, fed him some BS, then he gets riled, and tries to convince Lydia, Nat, and chima to evict Jordan. They disagree, Ron sulks, Russ gets involved and calls Ron out.

From TVClubhouse: http://www.tvclubhouse.com/forum/messages/10972/6692644.html?1248162920

Jeff/Jordan/Nat/Casey in backyard wondering why Ronnie called Laura upstairs. Nat says Laura wanted to talk to him earlier and he didn't have time, then told her he had time then so come on up. Laura comes out and they ask her. Ask her if she told him Russ was getting votes for her? She said no.

Haha, Laura is going to get Russ/Ronnie together and talk to everyone about it!

Ronnie says something to Russell privately as they walk out the door, I didn't hear it.

Laura is questioning Ronnie about it. He says he's not being put on the spot. Laura calls Nat over and Nat repeats what was told.

Laura repeats she didn't ask anyone for votes, didn't tell him this stuff.

Russ asks him directly, Ronnie says he's not being put on the spot like that. Russ says fishy looking...he'll leave it like it looks (Ronnie says.)

Russ says he never said that to me, she never told you that....

Jordan wants everyone to see this, how the lies start. Russ says it looks like ROnnie is covering his tracks. (Laura was upset during this convo, crying about being thrown under the bus when no one likes her already.)

In the end, Russ tells Laura thanks for telling the truth.

Casey says they were the dumb 5 but he won't be dumb 5 again. I tried to switch feeds to follow russell, missed some and he's back outside with Casey and then telling them about the conversation he had with Ronnie.

Ronnie calls Chima up and tells her he wants to go home next week.
(he can't take his medicine he's been soooooooo busted and I only wish someone who knows how to record the events in the past two hours will YouTube it - its spinning out of control - everyone in the house is in uproar)

- - - - -

ETA: An idea once floated by Chicken George has resurfaced. Talk in the BB house is a revolt to get Ronnie out this week! "We all go or HE goes!" Don't know where they're going to end up, but that's the most recent talk. One memorable evening in BB history!

And from the look of things on the review sites, Ronnie may have given some thought to quitting. (I guess he thinks he can't win Veto every week and then masterly debate the jury. Wonder why?)

This may be the most solid alliance in series history: Everyone vs. Dork Helmet. If it holds up beyond the usual duration for MSAISHs (twelve minutes), then no matter who wins HoH Thursday, Ronnie's either up, backdoored, or wins the Veto and gets strangled in his sleep...

We will see how long it takes the ADD to kick in. You gotta wonder if that much waffle shows up on a brain scan or something the way they can pick casts that change who is going home every 15 minutes.

Instaprediction. If the Everyone.V.Ronnie holds up until Thursday's broadcast you'll see the brains do the stupidest things to insta-tank the HOH competition.

Wonder if the DR helped stir the pot. The show needed some drama since Braden left.

Actually, the whole thing rolled out quite nicely without the aid of the DR. Except that just before the waffle hit the iron, Jesse was called to the DR. Then the fight began, and Jesse STAYED in the DR for probably a lot longer than he would have otherwise.

Besides, Ronnie didn't need any help from the DR. He fanned his own flames.

Gnat was the one who got the ball rolling, by telling Jesse what Ronnie said Laura said. Then Jesse and Gnat told Russ, who confronted Laura, and after much discussion, it was determined that Ronnie the Rat was indeed a Rat. Then they decided to call him out. The problem for Ronnie was that he left his super-duper, extra-superdoscious powers of persuasion up in the HoH bathroom.

Many a campfire story was told in the backyard after that, by all the HG's, while Ronnie sat in the HoH thinking about his next debate championship.

As far as I can tell, the only HG's I can see not being totally against Ronnie this morning are Jessie (was on the fence after being told what went down while he was in the DR), Kevin (who was quiet, although when he spoke, it was with great disdain against Ronnie and he said he didn't like all the yelling), and Lydiot.

Perpetual *headbutt* compliments of Rolly.

And if the plan they came up with to totally humiliate Ronnie actually does come to fruition, it could be the meanest thing ever on reality TV...or at least on Big Brother. Too bad they can reveal anything in the commercials. This could seriously up the ratings.

So far all I caught was let Russ harass Ronnie if and when he ever comes out of the HOH.

I'm not sure if there is any other part of the plan.

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"
Posted by frisky on 07-21-09 at 08:38 PM
I believe the plan is to backdoor him next week. When they play the veto comp, if he isn't picked to play, they're going to make him host it.

The host of his own demise.

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"

It's ironic then that Ronnie's strategy to divide the house and use that to his advantage might actually unify the house against him instead, and maybe engineer his eviction. Maybe. Hopefully. Because I do like irony.

Some irony also that he was in the "Brains" group.

S*** for brains.

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"
Posted by frisky on 07-21-09 at 10:05 PM
I like the irony, too, but I'm not holding my breath.

There's still several days left before the next set of nominations.

By then, at least one of the hampsters will figure out that Ronnie is now the perfect final two partner.

Here's what I would probably do to them if they did this to me: (screaming as I enter the HoH) Go ahead, take the game personally, go ahead and vote me out, GO AHEAD AND PICK ON THE NERD!!!!!! *SLAM!* I'd then do the HoH blog, and scorch earth their butts in it, and if they force me to use the camera on them, I'd take the most unflattering shots imaginable........

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"
Posted by nailbone on 07-22-09 at 03:03 PM
The full plan is for Russell to verbally harass him whenever possible, while the rest of the house totally ignores him. Chima and Michelle will throw the HOH competition in an obvious way. The new HOH will nominate two people not Ronnie, it'll be set up where he won't be picked for the Veto competition, and the new HOH will appoint him MC of the Veto competition so he can only sit and watch it unfold. The veto will be used and he'll be put in as the substitute and backdoored.

All of this will be done in very obvious and upfront fashion so that he knows whats going on, but is powerless to stop it.

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"
Posted by kingfish on 07-22-09 at 03:32 PM
Great plan. But it's way too complicated for these people, each of whom are going three ways at once, to actually pull off.

I believe they will be unable to stay focused on one plan for the length of time it will take to complete it.

I suppose the producers would stop Ronnie if he tries to hang himself in the pantry? Or, maybe it would be an America's Choice for the week?

This year's theme "Birth and Death".

Glad to see that they can devise a devious plan of ultimate humiliation, though.

So how are they going to ensure that there is no way his chip gets pulled for the veto?

I think BB would get pissed if they took his ball/chip/whatever out of the bag before the pick.

"RE: The party's over for Ronnie"
Posted by vince3 on 07-22-09 at 04:31 PM
They can't. They have to hope his name doesn't get drawn, or it's 3 Houseguest Choice chips............

If he does get picked the plan will be 5 on 1, especially if it's one where the contestants can control the eliminations, like the ones where they stuff banks and the one whose got the least/most wins the veto, and they can't touch their own?

The HOH picks first. I've wondered if the HOH has a preselected chip that they draw out--placed by the DR. It could be in a small inside pocket, ensuring that that is the one to be drawn. Likewise, the one you don't want drawn can go into that pocket. Just sayin' I don't trust BB--I believe they are manipulative.

LAST EDITED ON 07-22-09 AT 01:41 PM (EST)

Ronnie has gone into near-total seclusion in the HoH area: he only comes out for quick peeks off the balcony or producer-ordered visits to the DR -- and for the later, Russell follows him all the way, berating as they go.

Isolating himself from the hatred is Ronnie's wimp-out way of dealing with the grave he pointlessly dug for himself, and it's fine for now. But as soon as his HoH term runs out, he'll have to rejoin the population, with one guaranteed week of moving among the masses -- and at that point, he'll have nowhere to hide. (Locking himself in the Jack Shack for a week is remotely possible, but the odor will start to arise after the first hour.) Even if Michele or Chima win HoH to give him vote safety, it won't protect him from verbal abuse. If hiding is his only way of dealing with stress and that option is closed...

He could quit. It wouldn't be hard for the others to put enough pressure on him where he would become convinced leaving was his only option.

Some gamer. If things aren't going your way, crash the system, go look for a cheat code, and pretend the first session never happened.

If I was Ronnie I'd stop short on Russell one of those times so I can claim illegal contact and at least get a PFA on him......

Also, I hope if Russell continues this after the HoH competition, that Ronnie clocks him one. It would mean Ronnie would be eliminated, but it would so be worth it.......

I don't think you would behave and be as...pitiful a game player as Ronnie has been. Therefore I would be great friends with you....oh wait, I already am or at least your Miss Open Plains.

I can see empathizing with him but knowing he's probably been the underdog all his life, pisses me off that he's siding with the bullies. He so had his chance to stick it to them but decided to not vote for Chima (even though she's entertaining to watch!). He's just irritated me, and I'm not even in the house.

Welcome aboard, Amethyst.

However I don't understand what you said. Can you rephrase that?

You're talking about Russell harassing Ronnie, right? And you're thinking that this might intimidate Ronnie so he'll let Russell will win POV?

Jeff has already won POV for this week, so I guess you're talking about next week?

But we don't know who the HOH will be yet, that will be determined tonite, so we don't know who is vulnerable.

The HOH is live tonite, is that right?

where Russell went into his room and offered to not put Ronnie up and he needs to win the POV to make sure Ronnie doesn`t get backdoored.

What if he only said it , so Ronnie will not put much efford in winning the POV next week.?

Anyways, the new HOH is Jessie, and suppposedly Ronnie is in their group with Russell and Natalie. We will see how the live feeds go this week and who is up for Eviction and who actually wins the POV, If I were Ronnie I would try my hardest to win POV and not rely on Russell alone.

Guess who secretly went up to Ronnie's room this afternoon, to tell him he's going to keep him if he wins HOH?

Russell.

Maybe it's a big plan by Russell to screw with Ronnie's head, but (from what I've seen) he hasn't discussed the idea with anyone else (before or since), and was super-secret about going up there. I don't get it, though. Ronnie deserves go to out next week, so I don't understand why Russell (of all people) would consider sticking his neck out for him.

I'd still be shocked if Ronnie got out of this mess. I've never seen someone on this show checkmate themselves so badly.

Maybe he's thinking final 2 w/ronnie.

"RE: And to make things even more insane..."
Posted by Estee on 07-22-09 at 08:08 PM
Realistically, it's nearly impossible. If the rest of the house holds their current hatred (once again breaking the usual record of about twelve minutes), then anyone defending Ronnie gets to go on the bad list with him: Russell could find himself nominated right alongside his prospective partner. Veto only works if one can win it every single week and use it to take the other off -- not the most likely of scenarios. And the others are thinking too short-term to see Ronnie as an F2 partner, so they're not going to keep him around for their own use.

Of course, these hamsters have the collective attention span of a concussed gnat(atalie), so things will probably swing the other way before I reach the end of this sentence.

I was wondering if it was more of a "since he has nowhere else to go we can make him do our bidding" kind of move.

Don't need to keep him to the F2 but maybe a week or two to keep up your numbers

"RE: And to make things even more insane..."

From TV Clubhouse:

"Russell in HOH telling Ronnie he is being hard on his as an act. He has to win HOH and he will not put Ronnie up.. Ronnie is willing to play along with this. Russell tells him that Michele and Chima will throw it. Russell says everyone wants Ronnie out. Ronnie asks "even Jesse"? Russell says Jesse has to go along with it.

Ronnie says he hasn't heard a human voice except that last night when he came down, Michele said she felt bad and would cook Ronnie dinner for him but he declined. He says he has not lied to Russel, Jesse, Natalie or Chima.

Russell says he wants Casey out. Ronnie says they will be pissed if Ronnie's key doesn't come out.

(ed. not thinking of backdooring, but who knows what Russell is up to)

Russell offered to get food for Ronnie but he says he is ok.

Russell sneaks back out of HOH.

Ronnie climbs back into bed, shrugs to the camera, says "Dea with the Devil" and goes back to reading the Bible."

--------------------

OK. So Russell is thinking ahead. Why would he offer to get food for Ronnie if he really wanted him out the door?

Posted by SilverStar on 07-23-09 at 02:40 AM
They had a house meeting and decided that Chima and Michele would not throw the HOH comp tomorrow. Chima and Michele were (rightly) getting the feeling that there were some people now thinking about ditching the plan to evict Ronnie (that would be Russell, Jessie, Natalie) so they don't feel safe with trusting that everyone will follow along with the plan.

They all sat down as a group and decided that there were too many variables to the plan and a week is a long time to expect everyone to stick to it.

Casey was doing most of the talking (seriously, he repeated the same stuff about 15 times and was driving me nuts!) but I'm not sure where he stands. I believe him when he says that he still wants Ronnie out, but other boards have made comments about him being in cahoots with Jessie, or that he is flipping. I haven't been watching much the past couple of days because for the most part these people are seriously boring, so I'm not sure about all that. I will say though that he is really good at the practice game they got, so if it's for the HOH he might be the winner. Lydia really sucks at the game, so yay for that.

"RE: Big Brother 11 Live Feeds Week 2: Ronnie's House of Cards goes boom"
Posted by vince3 on 07-23-09 at 03:40 AM
The "Casey and Jesse are in cahoots" suscpicions stem from their secret meetings at odd hours, and the fact that they met previously outside the house at an event that Casey hosted and Jesse was a bikini contest judge.........

Also, it's about time the Athlete clique realize that they have a whipping boy that is willing to be a vote for them this week, and the Brains clique have realized that if the Athletes are going to keep him, they better make sure that they aren't the victims in his place...........

Here's the thing, though, if Casey wins, then Lydia's automatically safe this week, due to her also being in the Offbeats clique with Casey......... so I wouldn't root to big for him winning if you want her out of the house sooner than later...........

He's still got plenty of juicy targets. I would like to see Laura survive and win HOH. She doesn't seem to let distractions keep her from identifying who she wants to boot.

Of course, that would mean Jordan would leave, and I don't think they've mined that vein of ignorance yet. She's dumb but funny. And if one can get past that vacant stare - does she actually practice that? - (or better yet, fix your focus a little farther downward), she's kinda cute.

It's probably going to be 9-0 to evict Laura. She did say that she would like at least 1 sympathy vote, and Michele said she might do that, but I don't know if she will. She shouldn't, really. That would further the views of a lot of people that she is a loner and doesn't have a solid alliance.
