Please keep all information on the live feeds here once they start up after tonight's premiere.

This year, I'm going to try to give some details myself, as I've bought the feeds this year....... I might last a week.....

DOOD! Good freakin luck! I lasted the entire season with Magpies and I will never ever ever again sign up for live feeds. Too freakin annoying. However, I do wish you luck and hope to hear from you often.

Be prepared to not have a life for 3 months!

The feeds are up. I think someone told them that the feeds are up because there was a brief discussion about being watched by America live after a time of not being watched......

Sounds like they got sparkling cider for their drink tonight.....

Also, they must've had a food competition, because someone asked if anyone made slopsicles...... *blech*

Lydia and Chima are nominated. POV comp is supposedly tomorrow. I've heard a couple people say that Chima will probably be the one evicted if the POV isn't used.

The Brains (Michelle, Ronnie, Chima) are in the Jail Room (which must have been converted at some point because on the CBS show tonight it was just a regular bedroom) and they are also on slop. The Jail room is panelled in all silver and they have a huge hard platform bed with just a thin cushion on it for comfort. Chima said she feels like it's an insane asylum and that they blast cold air in at night. She also apparently threw a bit fit when they lost the comp.

Lydia and Jordan are celebrating the live feed premiere by walking around in silky nighties and a lot of the other HG's are calling them sluts. They (Lydia and Jordan) seem very close; I haven't seen them apart all night. There was also a moment between Jordan and Russell where he was sitting at the dining room table and she walked up and he put his arm around her waist and she started rubbing his head and shoulders. It seemed kinda sexual. Maybe the first romance of the season? Though I think Russell was one of the people calling her a slut, so who knows?

Natalie is still lying and saying she's 18. Casey was making a lot of comments about how hard it would be to keep up a lie about your age, so he might be onto her. He also said that she complains a lot.

They just got an alcohol delivery, so hopefully they'll liven up a little. They've been kinda boring so far, and not much game talk.

Natalie and Chima talking up in HOH room. Natalie is saying that Chima for sure has her vote, plus Russell, Michelle, Laura, Ronnie and possibly Casey as votes to keep Chima. Natalie says worst case scenario is that it's a 5-5 vote and Jessie will break the tie to keep her.

They think Jeff is for sure voting for Lydia and they're pissed that he's not voting with his clique and they want him out next. Of course this will all change 100 times in the next 2 days.

Along with the HoH blog, Jessie, as the current HoH, has just revealed that whoever the current HoH is will be able to send out Tweets in the DR via a laptop......

Also, I just saw the fishtank is back in use as the blackout screen, called up because someone had a MySpace story.........

Of course, he was slamming every darned season with that remark, as there hasn't ever been a respected season.

They drew names for the Veto competition and the winners are...

Jessie (HOH)
Lydia (Nom)
Chima (Nom)
Natalie
Jeff
Russell

Casey is hosting.

Could be interesting. Natalie seems firmly on Chima's side, while Jeff is on Lydia's side and Russell is playing both sides.

Seems unfair and non-themed -- in this season of cliques, I'd have each nominee and the HoH select one person in their group to play with them.

"RE: POV Players"
Posted by tribephyl on 07-10-09 at 10:09 PM
Yeah, wow.
All 4 of the Athletes against a Brain and an OddBall? Doesn't seem fair at all.
Although, the producers have the last word on POV Competition design and depending on it's elaboracy could pull out a Thinking Competition real fast.

Strangely, even though it doesn't seem fair, the POV does happen to contain some pretty blurry clique-lines currently going on, with Jeff & Lydia and Chima & Natalie.
Tight enough to go against the HOH's choices and remove one of them from the nom chair?
I dunno.
In fact I kinda doubt it.
But definately blurry.

Alas, 'tis BB and we shall be left eternally frustrated.

I really have to figure out who's who, but someone in the control room is having fun in the pool room...... There's a conversation between Ronnie, one of the girls, and one of the guys and the camera's panning between the other guy and the word "Shallow" on the wall! *snerk*

Hee! That was funny. The guy was Braden and the girl was Jordan. I love when the camera guys share their feelings with us. I thought he was going to stop on Braden, but he seemed to be focusing more on Jordan=shallow.

Side note: POV is underway, with a cool new message in between the trivia questions.

Of course it's not really secret. We'll know who won within the first 5 minutes of the feeds coming back. Right now it's looking like the only way the POV will be used is if one of the nominees win it. Replacement might be Jordan or Laura, but more likely Jordan.

Russell the Lovemuscle. At first I thought he might be the most interesting choice because he seemed to be playing both sides, but now he seems to be in a F2 alliance with Jessie, so I'm sure he'll "respect the HOH wishes" and keep the nominees the same. Boring.

Comp seems to be some sort of timed spelling bee.

(I hate editing my posts but as soon as I hit Post someone says something new. Arg.)

Jessie and Russell = Hanz and Franz!

On another note, how ever did Russell win a timed spelling bee?

What muscle is he flexing?

Since I think he's the MMA dude, maybe they had to break something to get the letters, and the words were decently simple for his peabrain?

It be a tribe, matey
I'm really sad that Russell has aligned with Jessie because I hate Jessie and I was predisposed to like Russell. I thought the lovemuscle thing was hilarious despite most of the internet thinking it made him an egotistic tool, and from what I've seen of him he seems like a nice guy. But then there was the interview where he said he wanted to emulate the strategy of Evel Dick. So, yeah. Russell confuses me. And this is far too much commentary for below the sigpic.

"Athletes vs. Athlete "Spellgate""
Posted by tribephyl on 07-11-09 at 03:49 PM
Already with the in-fighting...tsk

While in the backyard sunning, talking and working out, Russell and Jeff have a fight. Well moreso, Russell tries to goad Jeff into entering into a fight. Bad mouthing ChiTown, offering first punch, etc.
After a couple minutes of "no response" from Jeff, Russell gives up and goes inside.

Natalie then starts in on Jeff.
Going on an F'bomb littered tirade claiming Jeff is a backstabber and a liar and she has never lied and he's signed his own eviction papers and *pant-pant* she's gonna make sure he stays an outcast, etc.
Jeff once again refuses to enter into the fight and eventually Natalie gives up and goes inside.
She storms straight into HOH, where Jessie is unaware of the recent Backyard goings-on.
Natalie, through heavy breathing and evident shaking, begins to shove her head right up Jessie's gluteous maximus about how much of a loser Jeff is. How Jeff is a meanie and deserves to be taught a lesson. How she just about kicked the holylivinpoo outta him.

Jessie then does some difficult decision making on the toilet.
He finally plops a reason off at the pool and decides that since he missed the big fight, he will just have to create his own, even bigger fight. And he does.
The topic?
Jesse he's gonna yell at Jeff for picking on a poor-defenseless 18 year old.

Oh, did I forget to tell you all why they got in the fight in the first place?
It's all over spelling.
Apparently, we're not the only ones who can't believe Russell won a spelling challenge. *goes to look up "technotronic".

Hmmm...nope, aside from a music group. Ahhh...but there is Technetronic:
tech⋅ne⋅tron⋅ic {tek-ni-tron-ik}
–adjective
pertaining to or characterized by cultural changes brought about by advances in technology, electronics, and communications: a technetronic era.

Oops, looks like Jeff may have been right.

I missed the first fight with Russell, but Jeff was definitely doing his fair share of yelling and cursing at Natalie. He wasn't standing there refusing to fight. I don't know who started it, since I missed the very beginning, but from Natalie's side of the story, she was sitting there minding her own business when Jeff "attacked" her. Not that I really believe her. She (along with Jessie) are the only HGs that I actively hate right now. She is Michelle re-incarnated. It's scary really, how much they are alike. They have the same hair (although Michelle's was prettier), the same fiery temper, the same penchant for re-hashing stuff over and over and over and over, the same non-stop game talk, and most importantly, they were both Jessie's lapdogs. Natalie even sleeps in the same bed that Michelle did! And she's constantly up in HOH with Jessie, just like Michelle was. I can't stand the 2 of them. WHY did they have to bring him back?!

Phew. Sorry, had to rant.

Yes, I did kind of paint a pretty picture for Jeff.
Afterall, he did call Russell shallow and yelled "F*** my team!".
Yet I don't really blame him.
Russell and Natalie are complete roidrage stereotypes and really who would want to hang out with Jessie and them two?

Oh and feel free to rant anytime. This show deserves it. And I lvoe hearing it...er...reading it.

Russell? Eh...I have come to sort of want to follow him through the house butt maybe it is because of the nudie caps I saw...prolly is!

Jeff? I think is the person I would like to know more about. He doesn't seem to be all high skewl. I think he has a college boy mentality. You think?

So far Jeff does seem the best. Russell and Jessie seem jealous of Jeff.

Russell reminds me of Cappy. I wonder how long until they talk about if he needs evicting for losing it?

And Natalie is so much like Ivette it annoys me.

I have been watching the Big Brother After Dark from last night and they were planning to use the veto so I guess they went thru with their plan.

Is everyone going to go with the plan to backdoor Braden? Lydia was talking last night that who ever they put up they would send Chima home. ??????

You're welcome.

The way I see it, as of right now, here's how it will break down.

Votes against Braden: Natalie, Russell, Ronnie, Michelle

Votes against Chima: Jeff, Jordan, Casey

Unknown: Lydia, Laura, Kevin

Ronnie is hardcore playing both sides (and WAY overplaying, running around like a maniac, telling everyone everything-- he's GOT to chill the hell out or it's going to bite him), but I think he and Michelle will vote to keep Chima because she's in their clique.
Up until yesterday I would have thought Lydia would definitely vote Chima out, but I think she made a promise to Russell to vote for Braden if she was taken off the block. Laura seems to be in with the Jess/Russ/Nat crowd, but Braden is part of her clique so it might be better for her to keep him.

Edited to move Kevin's vote. I keep forgetting that he's supposedly friends with Chima. He's so rarely on the feeds that I don't really have a handle on what he's thinking.

"RE: Veto Ceremony"
Posted by Estee on 07-12-09 at 05:52 PM
Huh. Now what did Braden do that made him a target that early? Opened his mouth and coherent words failed to come out? Boasted about his acting career using sign language? Jessie's secretly a master hacker and used his Twitter account to get into the IMDB?

Either way, so much for the Popular crowd. 'Everyone loves us! -- okay, they just love sending us home.'

"RE: Veto Ceremony"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-12-09 at 06:41 PM
Are you ready for this one? The talk amongst the decision makers (basically Jessie, Russell and Natalie) is that Braden is some sort of mastermind and he's controlling everything behind the scenes. Now, I've been watching the feeds pretty much all day for 3 days now and the only time I've really seen Braden talk game is when Jessie point blank asked him who he wanted to keep between Lydia and Chima, and he said Lydia. So it seems once again, unfounded paranoia has caused people to make stupid decisions. Some things never change. Sort of comforting, isn't it?

And also, Braden has been bragging about his modeling and stuff, so everyone thinks he doesn't "need" the money.

Honestly, for as much I thought I would hate Braden before the season started, he really hasn't been that bad. He says stupid things and tries too hard to be the laid back guy, but he hasn't done anything offensive. He's just sort of there. The only reason I don't want him to go is he is more on the "underdog" side of the house and I like those people far more than the ones in power.

Fight! Take 2. And 3. And 4.

I don't have the energy to recap all the fights right now (I'm worn out from screaming at my laptop along with them) but we had:

Braden vs. Lydia and Kevin
Jeff vs. Lydia and Kevin
Lydia vs. Jordan

The Braden fight is the one that everyone is most upset about. Braden called Kevin a "beaner" which I guess is some racist comment about Mexicans. I don't know, I've never even heard someone called that before, but the funny thing is Kevin isn't even Mexican (as we know, he's Blackanese or Blasian, half black half Japanese) but Lydia is hispanic so that set her off so she started calling him a MF'ing gringo (apparently that's ok, because no one has said anything about it or called her on her hypocrisy.)
But anyhow, you'll notice that Lydia is the common thread in all these fights. I'm beginning to really loathe her. She's the type who stirs up all the crap and then blames everyone else and plays the victim.

So Braden just put the nail in his coffin. He was most likely going home anyhow, but now everyone hates him and thinks he's a bigot, so he's a goner. Unless people decide to keep him around because he's an easy target since he's universally hated. You never know what crazy ideas these people will come up with.

I need some aspirin.

Yikes. Ok, after re-watching the footage (I was in the bathroom when the whole beaner thing started) Braden's comments were much worse than I thought. He told Kevin to go back to Mexico and called him a beaner and then Lydia jumped up and told him not to disrespect people's culture and Braden said "I don't care. I'm white and American." and he threw water (or whatever was in his cup) at both of them.

Whooooo boy. This stuff gets ugly, fast.

Oh, and then later Braden went up to HOH where Lydia and Kevin were (supposedly Jeff told him to go apologize) and his first words were "So, the whole race thing is completely irrelevant because I grew up in a Spanish town", which might be the absolute dumbest and most ignorant thing I've ever heard anyone say. *boggle*

What a charming casting department they have.

Which once again brings up the question 'How much will the editing try to shield?' They've hidden the worst of contestants before this -- but at the same time, they have to try and justify Braden's potential ouster. And they have to do it fast. Right now, we've got too many fights on the board from the post-veto period to get them all in without resorting to montage. The editors need to pick a villain and stick with it: who's better than the guy heading home anyway?

But that means someone's getting major shielding this week, just from omission. Lydia? Jessie? Everyone not appearing in bad soap operas?

It's already been a long season.

Lydia apparently told Kevin that just a few months ago, she tried to commit suicide.

If she's not lying as some sort of strategy play, anyone who had a shakeup on that level in that time frame should not be in the house. And if she somehow was lying about it, anyone who would use that play never should have been cast...

In other news, Jeff & Jordan use slurs as part of their everyday vocabulary, Kevin continues to whine, and Jordan has no idea what the Vatican is.

"RE: What psych test?"
Posted by SilverStar on 07-14-09 at 11:05 PM
This is what she and Kevin were discussing right before they had their blowup with Braden yesterday. She was talking about an ex of hers who really messed with her head and I think she may have said he abused her (mentally or physcially, I'm not sure, I wasn't really paying attention) which caused her to become depressed and attempt suicide. Now, usually whenever someone talks about a person who hasn't signed a release, the feeds are blocked from us. None of this conversation was blocked and I highly doubt that an abusive ex-boyfriend signed a release saying Lydia could talk about him. So that leads me to believe that she may have been lying. Either that or the feedmasters weren't paying attention. That is pure speculation on my part though. It probably should have been blocked either way, because how would they know if she was lying or not? Or hell, maybe the guy did sign a release form. I have no idea.

Jessie & Casey met outside the house: Casey was hosting a bikini contest, Jessie judged it.

Gee, wonder if we've got up to six secret pairs. Again.

Oh, and Russell wanted all the hamsters to play a really fun game called 4-4-40. You play by drinking a gallon of water (four quarts) in four minutes and then keep yourself from throwing up for forty seconds. Russell believed an all-out hamster pukeorama was just what the show needed. Apparently the Powers That Be told them not to do it due to one simple problem: people have died playing this. (The contracts probably cover it, but it makes Endemol look bad.) And yet Russell still wanted to play.

Intelligent bunch this year.

Which leads to a really horrible barely-connected segue -- but this is something people need to know about Chima. Pasting from Hamsterwatch's description of the event:

'She told her shocking true story of being raped, beaten, and nearly murdered by a serial killer tonight, and she made it obvious that she hasn't let it turn her into a professional victim. She might not have wanted to tell it so soon, and some of them might think she did tell it (or made it up) for votes, but it is true and her resiliency shows she's a very strong person. However, she complained that she didn't know BB would be 'like this' which is surprising, considering there's only one small degree of separation between her and BB4/7 Erika Landin who, coincidentally (or not), is now involved with reality TV casting.'

I researched the part involving the serial killer and -- well, as Hamsterwatch said, she's not making any of it up.

http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1936092/big_brother_11_houseguest_chima_benson.html

*closes eyes*

So she's tough. In a lot of ways, she's beyond tough. She has a level of strong Jessie couldn't reach with access to the BALCO labs. But I don't know if she should be in the house either...

If BB had an inkling of...... I'm not sure what, they should do this: The day after Chima's eviction, BB would give the houseguests a newspaper article about her story....... and show it also to those who get evicted before her......... exception being the jury, if she makes it that far. She brings the article with her to the jury house, then.......

That would make the houseguests be remorseful about their thoughts about that story for a second or two......

From the sound of it (not quite the full Joe Millionaire background music, but...), this was a strictly manual operation, and read that however you like. Lydia wouldn't even let Jessie kiss her. And her comment on the situation? "With these two fingers, I'm coming back this week." Her pre-show interviews had her saying she'd basically sleep (or not sleep) with anyone in order to advance, male or female: an advantage to being bisexual with no scruples is that you can at least attempt to play anyone you see. Odds that Lydia cares about Jessie? Just about zero. Odds that Lydia cares about that half-million? 100%. Chance Lydia cares what anyone will think about her? Possibly less than zero. As noted on some feed sites, she has absolute control over her tears: weeps when she wants to and stops on cue. This just might be a manipulator on a Maggie-like level -- and being willing to use sex as a weapon makes things that much worse.

In other news, Jordan just may be too stupid to tell time.

First, I'd like to thank you guys who give us something to read. This is often more fun than the chopped up version we see on TV.

Now, I'd like to know your impressions of who is playing a good game.
From what I've read, I have a feeling that only Michelle is staying off the radar. She is part of the brains and athletes alliance but not a target of the other cliques.

A few other questions:

- Is Laura full of it when she says she knows this game? Has she positioned herself well or is she someone's target?

- Is Kevin as invisible to the others as he is to the cameras? Is it strategy or is he simply too boring for them to show and for you to write about?

- Will Jordan keep her word and have no booger or will Jeff stay long enough to get some?

- Is this the least likable cast ever?

Thank you in advance.

My thoughts:

-I think Michele is playing the best game so far. She sits back, doesn't get involved in the drama and everyone likes her. AFAIK, she hasn't made any secret alliances yet, but I think it's smart not to tie yourself to people so early in the game. Ronnie was bitching about her yesterday, but he tries to stir up so much stuff that I don't think anyone believes a word he says anymore, except for Jordan because she's as dumb as a bag of hair.
Russell is also a pretty smart player, actually. I mean, he can spell shotgun! No, really, I think he's playing the mental game better than people think he is, but he's going to be a huge target because everyone is so worried about him physically.

-Laura's pretty good, too. I do think that Laura is a huge fan of the game and she knows what she's talking about. I saw a pre-show interview with her and picked her to win it all in my PTTE just off of that. Her name has been thrown around a few times, but pretty much everyone has had their name mentioned by someone. She and Ronnie both seem like they've watched the feeds and are big fans of the show. For instance, they are the only ones who knew (or admitted to knowing) that the HOH gets a camera every week to take pictures. Everyone else was like Huh? How do you know that?

-Kevin is very boring and he's rarely on the feeds. I don't think he's a target for anyone though, so maybe he's playing it smart. He is very close with Lydia, so that makes me dislike him a little bit. He's definitely not the fabulous, fun guy that he claims to be.

-I don't know what's up with Jordan. She is very flirty with Russell, too. I could see her getting drunk and making out with either or both of them, but I don't know if she'll go all the way to "booger." If I were her, I don't see how I could resist the hotness of Jeff. And she doesn't care about his homophobic slurs because she uses them too! (Really though, I don't think they're homophobic, just ignorant. They haven't said gay people are disgusting and are going to hell, they just say things like "That shirt is so gay." It's still wrong, but I don't think they're malicious about it.)

-Least likeable cast? Hard to say. I've only watched since season 8 and it'd be hard to top Evel Dick. Then again, it's only day 5 of the feeds and I already had to take a break from them because I couldn't stand to see those people today, so...

Least likable cast???? No way. That goes to the season...and I can not recall the names of too many people....because after two episodes I stopped watching, but the one with James on it.....the first cast before All-stars that James was on.

Was it season 6 or 7 with April, Maggie and Howie? That season absolutely kicked my butt. I haven't had live feeds since...it really got to the point of where I gave up.

I think BB6. I tried to watch a bit of BB5 but pulled out early. Six was the first season I really watched the whole thing.

Thanks for the answers.

I'd just like to add that, for all the hated players, BB6 still had some likable ones. Kaysar and Janelle, for two, had many fans. This season might not have players as hated as the Maggots but does it have anyone likable? Reading the live feeds leaves me with the impression that no one is liked and that no one is playing a good game.

- The quote from Laura sounds like "famous last words". Anytime someone makes a similar statement, it usually means they've watched BB in the past. Just that. It also indicates (IMO) that they still don't have a clue about how to win. If she did she certainly wouldn't be advertising that fact.

Laura's paranoia with being singled out because of her boobal dimensions doesn't say to me that she is a particularly intellectual individual. I loved Casey's comment regarding her implants.

- IMO the season with Maggie was the worst. That season incorporated several of the worst characters this show has ever seen. Evil Dick and Danielle's season was pretty bad, and the season Boogie won was difficult to take. But Maggie's season had such evil characters and stupid plotting that IMO it wins the cup. Vols still has a involuntary twitch he developed during that season.

I believe she had said she either got them or got bigger ones like a month before the show started.

Almost sounded like the timing could have been once she knew she might be on the show, like having made call backs, but not gotten the final word.

I wonder if she had some unrealistic expectations of what upping the bust size would do for her.

"The psychology of surgery."
Posted by Estee on 07-15-09 at 09:49 AM
My guess is that if you look deeply into Laura's past, you will find someone in her life with a higher bra size than she herself originally possessed -- someone she was envious of, had a rivalry with, and couldn't beat. And this person may have been in her immediate family.

Honestly, every size alienates as many people as it attracts (although the percentages on turned away/brought towards vary). If you're getting enhancement surgery, it's a question of what you're really after -- and if you think that's 'more people romancing me', forget it. It'll just be a different group. As for modeling work -- bikini and lingerie models come in a fairly wide range of somatypes (at least as far as models go): she's probably not getting a significant number of extra jobs and she's definitely taken herself out of a few shoots.

If the primary consideration was influence in the hamster cage, see above and follow it up with a sanity check.

I have no way of knowing what she was really after -- but intuition says upmanship may have been it.

"RE: The psychology of surgery."
Posted by Snidget on 07-15-09 at 10:14 AM
I think that is a likely scenario, and just make sure I'm the biggest in the house could play into that one-upmanship scenario.

Generally I think the number on a piece of clothing usually has little to do with why person A gets more jobs, more fame, more lovers than person B. Sure certain body sizes fit the expectations of certain things, but there is always someone that defies that expectation even when too short, too curvy or too whatever.

Even when someone suddenly gets what they want after a surgery (and there are a few that lost what they had from surgeries as well) there usually is some other thing that plays a part in the "but they got what they wanted".

"RE: The psychology of surgery."
Posted by vince3 on 07-15-09 at 10:18 AM
There's not too many industries where an increased bust size = bigger bucks, but the majority of them (if not all of them) are in entertainment........

"RE: The psychology of surgery."
Posted by Snidget on 07-15-09 at 10:37 AM
True, but you can size yourself out of a lot of jobs, particularly in modeling.

High fashion (and usually bigger bucks) modeling even for the sorts of things where you show off the breasts tend to have a limitation on what size you can have and still be acceptable. Bigger than that and you can do bikini modeling for men's magazines, but you aren't going to get much in the way of high fashion shoots.

Even for acting there usually is a limit on how big you can get before you are cast to be the boobies, and those often aren't the award winning or highest paying acting jobs. I know there is always type casting in acting, but if you willingly pay to be the boobies you have to be willing to live with being nothing but the boobies.

Going from flat to average/just above average tends to be the most lucrative, IMO, of the size changes. It gives you enough to play sexy, but not so much that you start limiting everything else you can do. However there are plenty of flat women that make a pretty good living on TV.

But if you're willing to sell yourself, there's always adult stuff............

"RE: The psychology of surgery."
Posted by Estee on 07-15-09 at 12:14 PM
And even (and especially) then, you can enhance yourself right into the margins. Which are sometimes well-paying margins. But they're still margins and if you're reaching them via surgery, you have to decide if you really want to be there.

As said, I don't know what Laura's intentions are as far as her working life goes -- but at this point, she has very little hope of going modeling mainstream. (Which is stupid in and of itself, but let's not start on this, okay? It's already going to be a long summer.) Still, there's good work at the edges -- there just might not be a lot of it.

Either way, betcha one of her first moves post-cage is releasing a calendar, followed by listening for that Playboy call...

"RE: The psychology of surgery."
Posted by kingfish on 07-15-09 at 01:12 PM
A better enhancement for her would have been dental. There are cute overbites, there are sexy overbites, and there are scary overbites.

Quick question to those considering breast implants for the purposes of sexual attraction...Would unasked for advice be useful here?

If so, those concerned should know that it isn't the size that really counts, but the location. And that location is (holds out hands) "here"!

Whatever size is "here" is the sexiest. By far.

Shoe fashions and breast implants and are more often (IMO) to impress other women than to impress men.

Except that does happen. A lot.

But Laura volunteered for it -- and I suspect she's one of the few who knew on some level exactly what she was volunteering for. (Just possibly not a conscious one.) Even so, I've been calling the buxom The Last Openly Discriminated Against No-Repercussion Group In America for a while. There's more than a touch of accuracy there.

'course, so far, you could make a pretty good case for picking on Laura just based on her (lack of) personality...

I don't like this year's cast. Yet. Maybe some game play will help. I appreciate this thread for making it easy to catch up without having to read pages of stuff at Jokers. I ff'd through a lot of last night's show so maybe I am missing some nuances.

Thoughts so far.

Russell's fight with Jeff seemed staged to me. I'm wondering if they have a plan to be antagonistic with each other and keep others from thinking they could be in an alliance.

Ronnie seems like he's playing like an idiot instead of a brain. His insecurities are playing instead. Why would he reveal his national persausive speaker status or whatever it was ... unless he were really insecure?

My money's on Michelle for the time being. She understands about not making any waves at first and let the emotional ones fight among themselves for a week or two.

Braden...CBS did him a favor, it seems, because there was a sly reference to something that happened on POV day but the audience wasn't shown it. I wouldn't have known if it weren't for this thread, thanks!

Casey is another one who seems really adaptable in the game.

Laura--look--at--my--boobs--Laura--I am so over her, get her off the show already.

Russell is going to flame out at some point. He's made himself a target for one of the earlier weeks. Who will go first? Jeff or Russell?

Jesse--I so wish Brian had made it back in the game instead of Jesse. I have had enough of Jesse already. His insecurities will do him in a second time.

Lydia--is she the closest one of the women to a Danielle? She seems the most confident.

Natalie, Kevin, Jordin, Chima....I'll be surprised if any of these 4 win.

I know it's pointless, but I can't help but wonder how the first week would have played out had any of the other clicks won the first HOH; no Jessee; no athletic dominance; no macho guys running the game the first week.

Chima might not be as safe as she thinks she is.....

Casey/Russell were the first ones up, and in between b/c about some food supply issues (24 eggs for 13 hamsters for the week? as an example) and cleaning, or lack of issues, there was a mention that Chima started up a few arguments last night at 3am outside a room that had 5 hamsters inside...... the way they're talking, it might only take a 2 vote swing to give her the ol' heave ho, and they were wondering if she's this bad on the block, how bad will she be in power? or just regular?

They're figuring a 6-4 Braden split on the vote right now? Who would VTE Chima before a switch? I'm thinking right now, Jeff (spite the other athletes), Jordan and Laura (Braden's cliquemates), and maybe Lydia depending on her current mood.........

Say what you will about Braden; he's a racist, he's a pathological liar, he's narcissistic- but he can be damn funny sometimes.

Jordan: Braden, who was your last girlfriend?
Braden: I had a really, really, really serious one.
J: How long?
B: Oh, like a month.
J: *laughs* I thought you were going to say like a year! What happened?
B: She jumped.
J: Why?
B: Out of my car. At full speed. I don't know what happened.
J: What did she look like?
B: I don't know. She just looks like roadkill.

Maybe it was his delivery, but I was cracking up at this exchange.

"First eviction a blindside?"

Looks like the vote may switch tomorrow, from Bradeon being evicted to Chima out. I think Laura was the one who initiated it, but it all came down to whether Casey would vote out Chima or not.

Brought this over from TVClubhouse. It seems to sum up the evening in a nutshell.
http://www.tvclubhouse.com/forum/messages/10972/6692644.html?1247725653

Jordan: He's pissed off at Russel because he said that Laura needs a muzzle.
Jeff: Who said that?
Ronnie: Russel! He said 'shut your damn mouth'
Jeff: They are getting that 'edge' the momentum is shifting.
Ronnie: Russel was like 'give it up' 'give it up' (to Laura in a pending fight).

Ronnie says Casey almost went up this week.

Jeff: I think I can sell him for sure (casey) to keep Braden. Casey said this week to me 'don't worry bro the plane is in action'.

Michele joins the outdoor crew now.

BB: Natalie please go to the Diary Room.

Ronnie leaves (no game talk for 10 seconds he must leave).

Michele: Chima knows whats up. Her and Natalie were close to me and she says: "oh its really cold out here" then they walk away further and say 'oh its really warm today'
Jeff: They are the ones who started all this f*cken mess.
Michele: Chima hasn't said she was sorry to me.
Jeff: If Casey commits , we have to be agreement It's On!
Jord: What was it you said about casey?
Michele: says 'sssh" (lydia must be in the lounger).
Michele: If Chima was HOH she wants Casey gone.
Only me and Ronnie know that.

(Braden is now outside by the laundry) and joins the outdoor crew now.

Jeff: WE pull this off and if one of us wins the HOH it will be awesome!
Heck I'll go streaking! I'll feel so good cuz I was at the bottom of their totem pole.

Braden : I already have my speech:
"SO, I JUST WANTED TO SAY TO ALL YOU ALL THAT I CELEBRATE ALL OF YOU, AND I'VE HAD A GREAT TIME BUT IF YOU VOTE FOR ME I WILL GIVE YOU MY WORD I WILL DO EVERYTHING TO KEEP YOU IN THIS GAME AND TO GO AFTER THOSE WHO DIDN'T VOTE FOR ME....I'LL GIVE YOU MY WORD I WILL ........"

Jeff and Braden go off to talk in private.
(Ronnie has returned maybe that is why)

JOrdan to Michele: Do you talk to Casey a lot? I think you should do it and maybe just you and Jeff cuz Jeff is close to him.

Jeff returns back with a jacket for Jordan.

Jordan: Don't say anything, let Jeff do it.

Ronnie sits latching on to every word.

Jordan: oh Ronnie you stress me out

Jeff: Russel is being a bully in there.

. . .

Jordan: Michele when we first saw this plan in beginning we thought 'there's no freakin way we can get Michele on our side...Jeff thought"
Jordan: Maybe this was meant to be.....I was crying the one time.

Ronnie: It's gonna go 5 - 5
JEFF: WHAT????????? WHAT DID YOU SAY????????

(Ronnie is nervous chewing on his nails)

Ronnie: Russel is a complete moron if we don't do this.
Jeff: Can we not make this 6 - 5 and stick together??
Braden: An understanding that we are all there together? I want to stay till jury house (then he jokes..."i want to see michele cronked and strip) (michele laughs knowing its a joke)

Jordan: I think it will be stressful but it will be good for us. We all know how they are. It will be good for us.

Casey now rejoins the outdoor crew.

Casey: Whats poppin over here?

Ronnie gets up and says he's gonna 'lay down or something'........I will wtch and see what he does......

Ron walks into the house.....

(Michele is now telling Csey Chima has guaranteed she will put him up......)

Casey: already I had that in mind and a risk I figured.
JOrdan: Russel wants you out and you were gonna be a replacement nominee.
Casey absorbs and asks
Casey: Scouts Honor?
Michele: I swear on.......mom etc etc

Casey: I will tell u this one of my concern is 'will my teammates be upset with me? No it ain't no blood brotherhood.
I have to make sure I have the votes to stay.
Casey: It pisses me off about Russ walking around like he does and now I get the cold shoulder. I didn't f*cken do anything. That's showing true colors on his part.

Casey: I don't mind Jesse cool with him....I would hope you all wouldn't put jesse up next week.
(they all say they wouldn't next week).

Jeff: They all knwo something is up.......
Casey: My concern is ....if Natalie or Russel wins I have no problem sending Chima home she is on my last nerve. I"m ready.......bring a lunch!
Braden I like you better than him man......I think you're smarter (oh he says this to JEff)........
Michele: Chima was gunning for you before.
Casey: I come from a 'professional cracking community'....again I would need to know that I'm protected cuz my teammates are gonna be mad at me.
I can explain my choice to my teammates.
Jeff: You better NOT say anything to LYdia.
Csey: Nah I can't trust her she's too emotional for this game. You can't let your emotions dictate your behavior. THE FEW THINGS I HAVE TOLD THEM....My concern would be.........oh as long as Ronnie is with this plan.......I have no probl with sending Russel and Natalie....any of my two team mates.
Jeff: we have 6 they can't do anything.

. . .

Casey came in a bit ago and actually told Jesse he's voting Chima out. Jesse literally got sick about it and is in shock and went to the bathroom .....
He said he won't tell anyone.....but heck who knows......

. . . . .

This could all change in an hour, but, as of right now the vote breakdown:

Jeff,Jordan,Michelle,Ron,Laura,Casey - Chima
Lydia,Kevin,Russel,Nat - Braden

Jessie has NOT yet told Russell anything of this plan. So, blindsides all around no matter what happens - Russ if Chima leaves, Ron if his playing both sides is exposed (to everyone but Russell and Jessie, who already know), Chima if SHE leaves because she's under the impression that the racist remarks Braden made the other day sealed his fate, Nat 'cuz she's just that stupid (not a fan of hers).

This season has started out a little slow, to me anyhow. Maybe it will get a bit better tomorrow.

Ron if his playing both sides is exposed (to everyone but Russell and Jessie, who already know)

I think everyone knows that Ronnie is playing both sides, yet for some reason they all still continue to tell him stuff! Nobody ever said hamsters were smart.

His is the only vote that I'm unsure of. I have no idea where he actually stands, so I'm really curious to see what will happen tonight.

Most do know about Ronnie, I guess. Jordan may not know (she seems a bit dim, lol), but I'm hoping Ronnie gets exposed and HE will be surprised by that.

Casey has talked to Kevin, right before eviction-if the vote is still 6-4 with Ronnie voting out Braden then Ronnie will for sure be in trouble. Here's hopin', anyhow!

"The fights: round #3"

Laura finally got off the moping/svck-up stool and put on the gloves, spending an hour-plus verbally chasing Jessie around the perimeter of the HoH bedroom. Subjects: how he was not the boss of her, could not control her vote, had no right to tell her to vote out a member of her own team, and personally shouldn't be under the illusion of running the game when his original attempt saw him go home in Week #4. (Jessie doesn't seem to have done well with this in the response department: Natalie, who was in the room, did most of the defending.) Afterwards, she was heard commenting that she'd just thrown herself under the river, which is at least a switch from the typical bus. Chima finished it off by telling Laura she had to get past her insecurities. And all this happened while Laura was wearing a shirt emblazoned with the immortal legend 'Treat Me Like The Princess I Am.' Um... no.

Wrapping up (for now) an earlier conflict, Braden apologized to Kevin. (Sincerely? Don't believe it for a second.)

Meanwhile, the Jessie-knows-Casey mini-scandal is finally starting to go public after Casey admitted the meeting on the feeds. And the question of the day: what's the current rule about HoH competitions when it comes to week-after follow-ups? Obviously Jessie can't play. But all the Athletes have been safe right along with him. Does that mean the entire team has to sit out -- or do the other three go up with a decent chance to retain power while Jessie cheers from the sidelines?

It's a good question, and a number of people are asking it. And for a change, it's a question Julie will have to provide an answer for --

-- I hope.

Which means they're cleaning the habitat, and setting up for the HoH competition....... which will probably be the Target Isolation Booths of Doom.......

By the sounds of things, I don't think they've voted yet. That's a little surprising, to have live voting right off the back, considering the past couple of seasons have had the first couple on tape delay......... Although maybe they did that last season, as well because of the live audiences.......

Hamsters are trying to figure out what to wear......
