Welcome Back!

It’s time for a new season of Survivor.
The 22nd to be exact.
Can you believe it?

We are still in Nicaragua
A country full of incredible natural beauty
volcanoes, beaches, cloud forests
and now a Redemption Island.

There are 18 Survivors trying to win a million dollars.
Who do you think will win?
Who will be the first Survivor kicked off the island?
Who will survive Redemption Island?

Those are a few of the questions of this game.

To start this game you will need to

post a list that reflects your prediction about the ENTIRE boot order
for the season.

Starting with the first castaway (#18)
& ending with the winner (#1).
Unless you play the Teal game.

This doesn't need to have any analysis,
although you're welcome to throw in anything you want...
this is a game and is intended to be fun.

Reason why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: I'm mentally and physically strong enough to do this. I will do whatever it takes to get ahead. I'm a leader, but also able to work well with others if it proves to be to my own advantage. I'm not afraid to be a game changer. Bring it on!

Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: In my eyes, I'm flawless. A significant part of my job is selling myself - making myself more appealing than my client. I do it because it's fun. I like the challenge. I like having the odds stacked against me and trying to find a way to win. This is a game; I didn't come to get second place.

Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: I am a fierce competitor at everything, but I've always had a way of building trust with people. My image will be completely deceiving and my mental game undetectable.

Why you think you will be the sole SURVIVOR: There are a lot of amazing things in my life, and they all have started out with the thought, "I'm gonna doÂ…(fill in the blank)." Whether it's making documentaries, opening my business, helping families cope with children on the Autistic Spectrum, going to law school, or winning SURVIVOR, they all start in my head as an idea. I take baby steps, one by one, until finally it's done.

Why will SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND be different? "I feel like I have done my best every time I played and I have always done what I said I was gonna do. I mean, I played this game three times. A lot has gone wrong every time. I’m hoping that this time I can make something go right."

To keep you spoiler free
I will allow you to change your list, after the first show.
Considering this is the first you’ve seen most of them.

But there is a bonus to posting a list (any list) before the show starts.
And I would like to know you are playing.
You do not need to provide a list until the start of the 2nd episode.

Most people who play a non-spoiled game score in the middle.
So don’t worry about a low score.
The LOWEST score wins.

Okay... how do you play:

SCORING:

1) You do NOT want points...they're bad... it's like golf.
Every point counts against you in the standings, so try to avoid them,
unless you are playing the MEDIUM TEAL game.
then you want all the points you can get.

2) Points will be awarded to each boot, after each episode.

They will be awarded as the difference between
where you thought this week's castaway would finish
and where the castaway actually finished.

3) You will be given penalty points every time you change your PTTE list.

+5 points for regular game
+5 points for green game
-5 points for medium teal game
+8 points for All-Stars
]+8 points for Green All-Stars
-8 points for All-Star Medium Teals

You may change your list as many times as you want, up to the deadline.
The last list at the time of deadline will be used.

4) There will be several tie-breaker questions.
Check back to catch them. I will also send out a PM to alert you.
I have used several tie-breaker questions the last few seasons
to break ties and even determine a winner.

5) The game will be open for anyone to join at anytime.

Entry is free for the first two weeks.

If you do not enter before the 2nd episode, you will start with a score equivalent to 8 (-8) points per episode you missed. That means that it's possible to join the game after several episodes and
enter in first place, but statistically speaking, you'll have a better chance if you enter earlier.

6)*** There will be NO All-Star Perk this season ***

kircon’s ramblings

I love the game of PTTE. I have been racking my brain for the last few seasons, to try to come up with a fair game. I have made several changes along the way to improve our oldest game. I believe I have found a way to even up the chasm between spoiled and unspoiled.

I have not spoiled myself yet, but from the titles, I believe this season will not be as spoiled as the last few. So I will run the games simultaneously.
I will use your list at the end of the 2nd week.
Reason: Even in a highly spoiled season, there are still many unknowns at the end of week 2.
At one or two points in the game, the Merge and still working on the 2nd, I will allow you to switch two (2)players.
If you switch with an exiled player, you would only get points for the current player.
If you switch two current players, you would get points, or fewer points for both players.
I believe it will work, so we will try it ok.
I’ll call it: kircon’s PTTE 20th Anniversary Game.
