Last time on Survivor Heroes vs. Villains: What If? -- the Troll was the first one voted out! Parvati was demoted to the jury, Tom, Boston Rob and Cirie advanced to the jury, though I really wanted Cirie to make it to the Final 3! Even though Sandra still faced the jury and Stephenie advanced all the way to the Final 3, it was Amanda who won the whole thing. Now, we have 20 new contestants. They are as follows:

Older People: Dan, Holly, Jane, Jill, Jimmy J., Jimmy T., Marty, Tyrone, Wendy and Yve.

Younger People: Alina, Benry, Brenda, Chase, Jud (Fabio), Kelly B., Kelly S., Na'Onka, Matthew (Sash) and Shannon.

There are two groups and initially Alina is with Marty but it won't stay that way, since the older people (including Marty) will be on one tribe and the younger ones (including Alina) will be on the other one!

Host Jeff Probst greets the contestants and tells them that hidden somewhere in the jungle is the Medallion of Power. Whoever wins it will gain it for their tribe.

*****************************************************************

Last time, Brenda won the Medallion of Power for the Younger Tribe, who had the name La Flor. Also, La Flor chose to give it to Espada in return for flint and fishing gear. I want you to decide which contestant will win the Medallion of Power and if the tribe who gets it will trade it for flint and fishing gear. I'll take votes until tomorrow afternoon at the latest, when I will post the results. And btw, I doubt anybody will have Na'Onka win the MOP -- that would be awful to contemplate!

BTW Thanks for doing What If again.

Okay, we have a majority for the Medallion of Power to go to a member of La Flor and for the winning tribe to keep it (even if the second vote was for a member of Espada). However, we have a three-way tie for who actually gets it, so I'll break the tie and announce the winner:

All the contestants rush off, searching high and low for the Medallion of Power. Kelly B. is the first to look up and spot the MOP on a branch that she can get to. She jumps up and grabs the MOP!

Jeff Probst: Kelly B. has the Medallion of Power!

Probst then asks one of the people who had been in her group how they felt about Kelly B. having it. That member doesn't mind -- but then Probst gives them the bad news: the groups they all thought they would be in weren't the ones they'd be in after all! There would be two tribes, divided by age.

Dan, Holly, Jane, Jill, Jimmy J., Jimmy T., Marty, Tyrone, Wendy and Yve would all be members of Espada. Kelly B. would be a member of La Flor, along with Alina, Benry, Brenda, Chase, Jud, Kelly S., Matthew (Sash), Na'Onka and Shannon. He then revealed that although La Flor had the MOP, they could either keep it or trade it for flint and fishing gear.

Although Fabio argued in favor of trading it for flint and fishing gear, the majority all decided that they wanted to keep the MOP. So Jeff gave the flint and fishing gear to Espada. Then both tribes left.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I broke the tie in favor of Kelly B. Now it's time for you to decide which tribe will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tomorrow. The tribe which gets the majority of the votes will win Immunity. The one that doesn't pays a visit to Jeff at Tribal Council. Also, I want you to decide if La Flor uses the MOP or not at the Immunity Challenge.

Espada keeps the MoP because Yve thinks it looks good as an ornament but they lose the IC when Wendy stops to tell everyone just how great a person she truly is. Jimmy T gets jealous and says he's greater than anyone in his world. Jimmy J tells us about the time he won a Super Bowl because the opposing team's star player couldn't find his helmet. Marty finds the closest camera guy and tells him he is playing this game for real. Dan's shoes are a bit too tight, he forgot to break them in before taking them to the jungle. This team is off to a great start.

Okay, we have a clear majority as to which tribe keeps the Medallion of Power and which tribe wins Immunity, so let's get to the results:

Espada arrives at camp and start introducing themselves. Jimmy J. doesn’t bother to try to hide who he is. He tells us in his previous adventures, he was in charge – he could fire, recruit, or sign players. Out here, he doesn’t have that power. He figures maybe somebody will be infatuated with him. If so, he’ll play on that status. But some of the other players may resent it – such as if they’re Eagles or Redskins fans. (We see Marty and Dan talk about Jimmy, with Dan having a hard time believing it’s really Jimmy Johnson.) Jimmy J. says he has to figure out where the individual contestants are coming from to get on their side so he doesn’t become a target.

Meanwhile, Holly and Wendy form an alliance as well. Holly tells us as a swim coach, you have to deal with a lot of personalities and hold your composure, so she’s a good judge of people. She continues to tell us that most of the time, she reads people very well. But Wendy tells us she thinks it’s awesome that Holly wants to be in an alliance with her, but she wasn’t expecting it so soon. She admits she may be naïve or sheltered because she’s a goat rancher – which means a lot of time with goats, not people. Her strategy is to take baby steps, not be the first person voted off (her husband thinks she will be because she talks a lot), and bite her tongue while hiding her overly talkative nature. Unfortunately, Marty still thinks Wendy is weird.

Meanwhile at La Flor, introductions are going as well. Shannon thinks that Jud is a dumb blonde and others feel the same way, since Jud gets the nickname "Fabio". But Jud doesn't care that others underestimate him -- he hopes he can use it to help him win the game.

Meanwhile, Shannon and Chase discuss how they are going to be the strong guys for challenges and need to stick together as the alpha males – Shannon says Boston Rob and Russell could have run the tables last season if they would have worked together. Plus, he doesn’t want another girl to win!

Shannon further explains to us that they can’t let the women take over. It’s bad enough that the women are in charge in marriages – and soon there will be a woman president. The horror! So a man needs to win Survivor.

Meanwhile, Kelly B. realizes that people are looking at her artificial leg. So she decides to come clean. So Kelly calls a group meeting and they gather around. She pulls down her pants to show her artificial leg. Some say they knew it, others are surprised. She explains her situation and gets high fives. Jud asks a stupid question, while Shannon notes that if he were in the final two with her right now, he’d say to give her the money because of what she’s probably gone through in her life. Because of that, he realizes she’ll be too much of a threat down the road due to sympathy, so he figures she needs to be one of the first to go.

As Na'Onka starts talking trash about Kelly B, the latter works with Alina to start a fire. Soon both women have got a fire going and La Flor can boil and drink water! Meanwhile, Espada also has fire, thanks to the flint they got from Probst. At the same time, Jimmy J. overdid things, so he's not feeling well. Jimmy T. notes that Jimmy J. isn't young anymore.

On La Flor the next day, contestants are talking about Jimmy J. -- especially Brenda, who happens to be a cheerleader. She and Chase are chatting and agree that they like each other’s spirits. Chase is now beginning to regret having made the alliance with Shannon, partly because he doesn't like the idea of being in two different alliances, partly because he doesn't like the idea of the guys voting out the girls. He tells Brenda that he doesn't like that idea, and she catches on.

Meanwhile, Alina and Kelly B. get a clue to the Hidden Immunity Idol and note that it's up to the finder if they want to share the clue with others. They decide to hide the clue -- for now. Alina agrees to align with Kelly B., but she's still a little worried about Kelly B. as a possible threat to win the whole thing.

Meanwhile, Jimmy J. tells everyone on Espada that he's there for the adventure, acknowledging (and perhaps planting a seed) that there is “no way in the world a jury’s gonna give me a million bucks.” But he can help somebody else win a million bucks! Nothing would make him happier than for one of them to do so, and he’ll help them all the way. As long as they’re psyched up, they’ll kick #####! They all applaud and Tyrone shouts out that he just got a pep talk from Jimmy Johnson!

At the Immunity Challenge, Espada enters normally, while La Flor chants and does weird dance-like move -- except for Shannon and Chase. Probst is totally speechless for a moment, then asks Jimmy J. what he thinks. Jimmy J. is more focused on what Espada needs to do than on what the other tribe does.

Kelly B.'s artificial leg is revealed and Probst asks Tyrone if he feels that he needs to take it a little easier on Kelly B. because of her leg. Tyrone says no – it’s a competition.

Time to explain the challenge. One person will be at the top of a tower pouring water, while five others will use sections of gutter to direct the water flow into a barrel. When the barrel fills, a large bag of puzzle pieces will drop. The four remaining players must solve the puzzle. First tribe to get it right wins immunity! Jeff explains that the MOP gives a "huge advantage at challenges", much to the dismay of Espada. If La Flor uses it today, they will start the challenge with one bucket of water already in the barrel. But then it will go over to Espada for the next challenge!

Since it's not a strength-based challenge, La Flor decides they can hang onto it and use it for a later challenge to demoralize Espada, although Brenda reveals that she would have used it right away. However, she was outnumbered.

And they’re off! Na'Onka is the pourer for La Flor. Holly is for Espada. La Flor starts out well with a good flow, but Espada has what Probst describes as “a great flow!” Still, La Flor gets their barrel filled first. Espada is not far behind. It’s puzzle time for both tribes.

It’s all women working the puzzles for both teams. La Flor is off to a quicker start, but Espada is apparently catching up. Still, it looks like La Flor is just a couple pieces away. But then, something doesn't appear to be right. However, it's soon fixed and:

Probst: La Flor wins Immunity! (La Flor hugs, while Espada looks downcast. Probst hands over the Immunity Idol to Na'Onka.) La Flor, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. Espada, you have a date with me for Tribal Council, where somebody will be voted out! You have all day to decide who it will be. Head back, and I'll see you at Tribal tonight.

La Flor heads out, celebrating, while Espada leaves, downcast.

****************************************************************

Okay, Espada has lost Immunity and has a date with Jeff for Tribal Council. I want you to decide who will be the first to go home from Espada. You have the rest of the day to decide. Either tonight or tomorrow I'll post the results. The person who has the majority of votes will be the first person voted out of Survivor: What If?

We have a tie and I'll break it. Here are the results:

A despondent Espada returns from Tribal Council and at once they start breaking into little groups, deciding who's going to go home. Holly, Jane, Jimmy J., Wendy and Yve immediately start pushing for Dan to go home since Dan is the weakest link and most likely to hurt them in future challenges.

However, Dan runs to Marty and begs for his protection. Marty agrees and starts pushing for Yve to go home since he sees her as smarter than she lets on and wants to rule the tribe. Jill goes along with it, but Jimmy T. and Tyrone are less sure about it. They're wondering if it would be best to cut Dan loose.

At Tribal Council, Probst has them all get fire, then asks about their first impressions. Jane thinks that people see her as a hillbilly but claims that she can be smarter than people think. Jimmy J. thinks that he might be a target every Tribal Council, but reiterates his claim that he's not a threat to win the million dollars. Jimmy T. and Marty don't buy it.

When asked who's in danger, half the tribe raise their hands. Wendy thinks she's in danger because she fears she didn't connect as well to the others as she should have. Dan knows he's in danger because he learned there was a plan to get rid of him. Yve thinks she's in danger because Dan might have found out and tried to save herself at her expense. We then see the votes. Holly votes for Dan, saying that he's the weakest member of Espada. Marty votes for Yve, saying that Dan will be a loyal ally if he can save him.

Jeff: I'll go get the votes. (We see Dan and Yve look on nervously.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Nobody moves.) Okay, once the votes are in, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Dan. Second vote ... Yve. One vote Dan, one vote Yve. Third vote ... Dan. Two votes Dan. Fourth vote ... Yve. That's two votes Dan, two votes Yve. Fifth vote ... Dan. Three votes Dan. Sixth vote ... Yve. That's three votes Dan, three votes Yve. Seventh vote ... Dan. Four votes Dan. Eighth vote ... Yve. That's four votes Dan, four votes Yve. Ninth vote ... Dan. Five votes Dan, four votes Yve, one vote left. (He looks at it.) The first person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua ... Dan. Will you bring me your torch?

Dan gets it and goes up.

Probst: Dan, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Dan's torch and Dan leaves.) Well, you decided that Yve was more valuable than Dan. Are you right? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp.

They leave. Dan notes that he wishes he could've stayed longer. We see that Tyrone joined Holly, Jane, Jimmy J., Wendy and Yve in voting for Dan.

****************************************************************

Okay, I broke the tie and decided to get rid of Dan. Now I want you to decide which tribe will win the next Reward/Immunity Challenge. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the tribe with the most votes will win Reward and Immunity. The other tribe will have a date with Probst at Tribal Council.

We have an overwhelming majority in favor of one team winning Immunity, so here are the results:

After Tribal Council, Marty confronts Jimmy T. and Tyrone. He's not happy Dan was voted out and is sure either Jimmy T. or Tyrone voted Dan out. Tyrone confesses he voted Dan out because he felt Yve was stronger. Marty says in confessional that if they didn't need Tyrone's strength he might get rid of Tyrone.

The next morning the men of Espada are struggling with lack of sleep. Marty tells us there’s a problem with the shelter that definitely needs to be fixed. Jimmy J. gets to work motivating people. Jill tells us he handed out assignments for the day. Jimmy T. wants to be in charge, too, but Tyrone thinks everyone should listen to the other Jimmy. Marty decides to go with Jimmy J., too, but mostly so Jimmy J. can take the blame if anything goes wrong.

Over at La Flor, everyone’s in good spirits. Sash and NaOnka have hit it off. She thinks he’s down-to-earth and they have good chemistry. They discuss an alliance of minorities, and he suggests bringing in Brenda. Sash thinks it’s important to make friends with as many people as possible. He and NaOnka agree that Kelly B. is a huge threat. NaOnka thinks she’ll be a liability in a footrace.

Back at Espada, Jill snacks on some snails and offers some to Holly. Unfortuantely, Holly thinks they're inedible and she dumps the snails she was offered into the ocean -- though not while they were in the pot. Jimmy T. thinks Holly’s having a meltdown. Jill notes that this is not a show where you want to come across as unstable. Jimmy T. and Jill share the story with the rest of the tribe as Holly looks on. Finally, Jimmy J. has a pep talk with Holly and calms her down.

Meanwhile at La Flor, Na'Onka put her socks in her shoes -- only one sock is missing. Instead of thinking that she misplaced one, she says if others are playing dirty, she will, too -- by taking someone else’s socks. It turns out they’re Jud’s. Alina notes that things are getting high-school-dramatic over here. Worse yet, Na'Onka suddenly asks “Fabio” why he’s looking at her. She tells us she doesn’t like anything about him. She doesn’t want to come across as a B-I-T-C-H (yes, she spells it), but Fabio is stupid. We see him blowing on the fire while wearing goggles. Na'Onka says she’s preparing to vote him off.

Back at Espada, Wendy is comforting Holly and reassures her that she's still a valued member of the tribe. Holly says that she's determined to stick around and prove herself to the tribe. At the same time, Marty wants to get rid of Jimmy J. because he wants to be the only leader of the tribe.

It's time for a challenge. It’s one of those things where they have to crawl through mud under a net thing. They dig through hay for four balls, then bounce them on boards from player to player into a barrel. Losers go to Tribal Council and winners get either a tarp and rope or fishing gear. Probst announces the benefit of playing the Medallion of Power in this particular challenge: La Flor gets to sit out one weak member and start with one ball in a barrel. They discuss and decide to use the MOP. It will go to Espada the next time. Na'Onka and Kelly S. ("Purple Kelly") sit out for La Flor.

The score's already one to nothing in La Flor's favor as Jimmy J. and Brenda start things off for their tribes. They each find a ball around the same time, and Jane and Alina go next. Alina has the third ball and as Holly goes out, Kelly B. gets the fourth one as Jeff makes a point of calling out that her leg isn’t holding her back at all.

La Flor now has all four balls and starts with the bouncing. Holly and Tyrone get the third and fourth balls and then they start bouncing as well. But La Flor's lead is too big:

Probst: La Flor wins Immunity! (La Flor cheers and they all hug while Espada looks upset. Probst returns the Immunity Idol to them and hands the MOP to Espada.) La Flor, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. Espada, you have the Medallion of Power and a date with me at Tribal Council where someone will be going home. You have all afternoon to decide. I'll see you at Tribal tonight.

La Flor, who chose the rope and fishing gear, head out and celebrate while Espada heads back downcast.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Espada has lost again. I want you to decide who will be going home at Tribal Council. I'll take votes until tomorrow morning. The person who has the most votes will be the second person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?

Sorry I'm a bit late, but here's the next part:

Espada came back and they were really downcast. However, Yve was in even worse shape than the others. She suddenly rushed off and one could hear sounds of someone puking. We find out in a confessional that Yve had begun feeling poorly just shortly before the Reward/Immunity Challenge.

The medical team examined her and said that she had some kind of stomach virus. They didn't think it was serious, however. In confessional, Jimmy J. said that they already lost one person and were about to lose another. They needed to keep the tribe strong, so it was best to get rid of Yve.

However, Marty was nervous about Holly and her breakdown. He also felt that if he got rid of Holly, Yve might be in his debt and he could use her in place of Dan. Unfortunately for him, it became apparent that the others were seriously leaning towards getting rid of Yve. Meanwhile, Yve decided to throw a vote Holly's way. She didn't think it would keep her around, but she had to try something.

At Tribal Council, Probst asks why Espada keeps losing. Marty said that La Flor wisely chose to use their Medallion of Power, but now that Espada has it they'll use it as soon as possible. Probst asks how the tribe is doing. Jane reveals that Yve is ill and Marty mentions Holly's breakdown. Holly says that she's getting past it and won't quit. Yve says that she'll be okay.

It's time to vote. Jimmy J. votes for Yve, saying that he loves her but she's too ill. Yve votes for Holly, saying "Better her than me."

Phil: I'll get the votes. (He reveals the votes.) If anyone has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Nobody moves.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Yve. Second vote ... Holly. One vote Holly, one vote Yve. Third vote ... Yve. Two votes Yve. Fourth vote ... Yve. That's three votes Yve, one vote Holly. Fifth vote ... Yve. Four votes Yve. Sixth vote ... Yve. That's five votes Yve, one vote Holly. Seventh vote ... the second person voted out of Survivor: Nicaragua ... Yve. That's six, that's enough. You need to bring me your torch.

Yve hugs the others, then heads over to get her torch.

Probst: Yve, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs Yve's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Yve nods and exits.) Well, once again you chose to keep your tribe strong. Was it the right decision? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good-night.

Espada leaves. In her final words, Yve admits that she would have liked to stay longer, but her body betrayed her. We see that only Yve voted for Holly -- even Marty voted for Yve.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Yve is the second person voted out of Survivor: Nicaragua: What If?. I have two questions. First, which member of La Flor will find the Hidden Immunity Idol? Second, which tribe will win Reward and Immunity? I'll take votes until tomorrow night. The person with the most votes from La Flor will get the HII, and the tribe with the most votes will win Immunity and Reward, while the losing tribe will have a date with Jeff at Tribal Council.

We have a majority vote for the person from La Flor who finds the Hidden Immunity Idol, but we have a tie for which tribe wins Immunity, so I'll break the tie and get going:

As Espada returns from Tribal Council, Marty is happier. He tells us in confessional that as much as he would've liked to keep Yve, he realized she was just too sick and so he voted with the majority. It also didn't matter as much to him to keep Yve as it had when he tried to keep Dan around.

Holly is relieved and tells the others that she's in the game and isn't going to quit -- ever. The others are relieved by that, as Jimmy J. tells us in confessional.

Back on La Flor the next day, Brenda is looking for the Hidden Immunity Idol. In a confessional, she tells us that Chase told her that Shannon was still pushing his all-guys alliance idea, although he was trying to bring in Alina and Kelly B. as outliers. Brenda decided to use this information to get Alina and Kelly B. on her side, but right now she was looking for the HII to save herself, since she'd seen the second clue.

We then see Purple Kelly and Sash also looking for the HII. In a confessional, Sash reveals that Shannon has been trying to get him into the all-guys alliance. However, Sash has gotten Brenda and Na'Onka into a minorities alliance and is planning to make it the core of a bigger alliance.

We then see Brenda find the HII. She grabs it and says that she's keeping it for herself -- for now. If she feels that she needs to use it to save an ally, she'll do so but right now she's keeping it.

Then we see Na'Onka taunting Kelly B. and attemtping to get her to retaliate. In a confessional, Na'Onka says that she wants Kelly B. gone, so she's trying to get Kelly B. to strike back so that the other woman is ejected from the game. Kelly B. wisely doesn't strike back, but tells us that Na'Onka is a real cancer and it might be a good idea to get rid of her.

The next day at Espada, Jimmy J. tries to give another pep talk to the tribe. He reminds them that since now they have the Medallion of Power, they can use it to win if they need to. This cheers the others up.

Meanwhile back on La Flor, Brenda approaches Alina and Kelly B. and tells them what she learned from Chase. She offers them a chance to save themselves by being part of an all-girls alliance plus Chase and Sash. Kelly B. says she'll join if Brenda agrees to sacrifice Na'Onka. Brenda tells us in confessional that she wants to keep Na'Onka around but if she doesn't give in, Alina and Kelly B. might join the others. And besides, Na'Onka is a real pain in the neck.

It's time for the next Immunity/Reward Challenge! La Flor sees that Yve was voted out and are somewhat surprised, unaware that Yve was ill. Host Jeff Probst explains the challenge: both tribes will head into a field to collect 10 tribe-colored barrels. Once they’re collected, they need to be arranged on individual platforms in the pattern of a reverse bowling pin set-up. They then need to toss sandbags in an attempt to land the sandbags on top of the barrels. First tribe to get a sandbag on all ten barrels gets immunity and a Survivor garden package with sauces and spices and fruits and a sustainable herb garden.

Espada's advantage is that two of the barrels will be already on the platforms with sandbags on top. They immediately decide to use it, since the task is really physical. Purple Kelly and Sash agree to sit out the challenge. There is a plan in place on both tribes to decide which barrels to get and who will throw the sandbags.

And they're off! Espada starts running for the nearest barrels which aren't on the platforms, while La Flor rushes for the farthest ones. Thanks to the MOP, Espada gets all their barrels back before La Flor does, and arranges them first. Then Tyrone starts throwing the sandbags. When La Flor gets their barrels arranged, Benry starts throwing them. Espada jumps out to an early lead but soon La Flor catches up. Finally, one guy gets the last sandbag on the barrel:

Probst: Espada wins Immunity! (Espada cheers while La Flor now looks downcast. Probst hands over the Immunity Idol to Tyrone, who happily accepts it.) Espada, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. La Flor, you have a date with me at Tribal Council, where somebody will be voted out. You have until all afternoon to think about it. Head back and I'll see you tonight.

Espada heads out with their reward, jubilant. La Flor heads back, very unhappy.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I broke the tie and decided to give Espada the win. Now it's time to decide who will be going home. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow morning. The person with the most votes will be the third person and the first La Flor member voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?. I have a funny feeling who that person will be.

I'm a little surprised by the results, but I'm not too upset by it. Anyway, here are the results:

La Flor returns from Tribal Council and immediately they begin strategizing. Fabio suggests Na'Onka because she's nutty and he thinks everyone will jump on board to get rid of her. But Benry has a different plan. He suggests targeting Brenda. He tells us in confessional that he's noticed Chase is hanging around Brenda a lot and wants to break up that duo, especially since he thinks Brenda's more of a threat than Na'Onka. Shannon says that he'll talk to Chase about it.

Unfortunately, when Shannon suggests targeting Brenda, Chase is all against it. He points out that Na'Onka is a cancer to the tribe and has to be removed. When they talk with the rest of the guys Benry and Sash insist that Brenda should be the next target, but Fabio supports Chase. In the end, Shannon decides that since Sash isn't as strong a supporter of Na'Onka as Chase is of Brenda, they should get rid of Na'Onka.

However, Sash tells Na'Onka, who promptly tells Brenda. At the same time, Chase tells Brenda that Benry suggested that they get rid of her and that Shannon almost agreed to it. Brenda decides that since Shannon is the one pushing the all-guys alliance, they should get rid of him first. Kelly B. and Alina aren't too pleased with this, but Brenda reassures them that they can get rid of Na'Onka after Shannon.

At Tribal Council, La Flor lights their torches and sit down. Probst asks them how they are doing, and they reassure him that they're doing just fine. When asked if there are any divisions, Brenda reveals that Shannon's pushing for an all-guy alliance. Shannon, realizing that Chase turned on him and suspecting that Sash did so as well, begins lambasting both guys. He calls Chase a wimp and Sash a closet gay guy. Chase explains that he got real close to Brenda and thus regretted forming the alliance with Shannon, while Sash denies being homosexual.

Fabio then turns the attention to Na'Onka, revealing that she stole his socks. She begins defending herself -- loudly. She then starts getting on Kelly B.'s case, trying to get Kelly B. to take a swing at her. Needless to say, it doesn't work, so Na'Onka looks disgusted.

Probst then reveals that it's time to vote. One by one, each La Flor member votes. We see Fabio voting for Na'Onka, saying that it's time for the cancer to be gone. We also see Brenda vote for Shannon, saying that misogynists should go before cancers.

Probst: I'll go tally the votes. (We see Na'Onka and Shannon watching before Probst returns.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and wants to use it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, it's official. The person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Na'Onka. Second vote ... Shannon. One vote Na'Onka, one vote Shannon. Third vote ... Na'Onka. Two votes Na'Onka. Fourth vote ... Shannon. We're tied, two votes Na'Onka, two votes Shannon. Fifth vote ... Na'Onka. Three votes Na'Onka. Sixth vote ... Shannon. We're tied again, three votes Na'Onka and three votes Shannon. Seventh vote ... Na'Onka. Four votes Na'Onka. Eight vote ... Shannon. We're tied again, four votes Na'Onka, four votes Shannon. Ninth vote ... Shannon. Five votes Shannon, four votes Na'Onka, one vote left. (He looks at the last vote.) The third person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua ... Shannon. Will you bring me your torch?

Shannon glares at Brenda, Chase and Sash before getting up and grabbing his torch. He then heads over to Probst.

Probst: Shannon, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Shannon's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Shannon stomps out.) Well, most of you decided to get rid of a misogynist over a presumed cancer. Was that the right decision? Time will tell. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

We see La Flor return to camp. In his final words, Shannon lambasts Chase for allowing a girl to charm him and still insists that Sash is gay. We see that Benry, Fabio, Kelly B. and Shannon voted for Na'Onka (although Kelly B. says that this is part of a plan Brenda and Sash cooked up), while the others all voted for Shannon.

****************************************************************

Okay, Shannon is gone. Can't say that I'm upset to see him go. Now it's time to decide which member of Espada finds the Hidden Immunity Idol and which tribe wins the Immunity/Reward Challenge as well as deciding if La Flor uses the Medallion of Power.

We have a majority for who finds the Hidden Immunity Idol and which tribe wins Immunity and Reward, so I'll post the results:

La Flor returns from Tribal Council with three people in a state of shock and the other six pretty happy. In a confessional, Kelly B. reveals that she let Brenda and Sash know she was going to throw a vote away for Na'Onka and neither one minded as long as Alina didn't throw a vote away as well. Since Alina didn't, no harm was done. Kelly now thinks it's time to get rid of Na'Onka since the woman's a cancer to the group.

The next morning on Espada, the tribe looks for the HII. Jimmy J. tells us in a confessional that since he's the weakest one left, he really needs it. Holly and Wendy also are looking and they're really close, but it's Jimmy J. who finds it. He keeps it for himself since he might need it.

Back on La Flor, Na'Onka is taunting Benry and Fabio for being on the wrong side. She also continues her campaign to try to get Kelly B. to quit or be expelled. Kelly B. admits that it's hard to stay nice to Na'Onka since the woman is a bully, but she's trying.

On Espada, the tribe is enjoying their herbal garden and Jimmy J. decides that there needs to be one voice in the challenges. Since Tyrone was the most valuable member of Espada, he gets nominated, much to the chagrin of Jimmy T. Jimmy J. tries to reassure Jimmy T. that he's just trying to help the tribe out, but Jimmy T. isn't really reassured.

Treemail time and it's for Immunity and reward! Espada practices the calling before heading out. When Espada sees La Flor enter, they are surprised that Shannon was voted out, unaware that Shannon was a misogynist. As Espada figured, one person from each tribe will be the caller with the rest of them blindfolded and paired up, linked at the wrist. Using only verbal commands, the caller will direct the others to collect ten items scattered in the field (most of it looks like camping gear). Then they will direct one pair of players back out to get some keys. The keys unlock a chest. The first tribe to get that chest and all ten items back to the start wins immunity and three groups of items from an advertising department store, such as a tarp, toolkit, knife, fishing kit, and more.

La Flor decides not to use the Medallion of Power, which would have had them begin with two items at their start. Only seven people can play, so Jimmy T. is urged to sit out for Espada since Tyrone thinks Jimmy T. will be a hindrance, while Kelly B. and Na'Onka sit out for La Flor.

Tyrone is the caller for Espada while Brenda is the caller for La Flor. Both tribes keep bumping into things. Kelly S. is having a lot of trouble, which enables Espada to pull ahead. They get all ten of their items and then direct Jill and Marty back out to get the keys. La Flor gets all ten of their items and Benry and Fabio are sent to get the keys. But in the end, one team finishes first:

Probst: Espada wins Immunity! (Espada cheers again while La Flor looks angry. Jimmy J. gets the Immunity Idol this time.) Espada, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. La Flor, you have another date with me for Tribal Council, where someone will be voted out. You have all afternoon to decide. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal.

Espada returns delighted while La Flor heads back downcast. In a confessional, Kelly B. says that it's time to get rid of Na'Onka once and for all.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Jimmy J. found the HII and Espada won Immunity. Now it's time to decide who will be going home from La Flor. I'll take votes until tomorrow at the latest. The person with the most votes (unless it's Brenda, who has La Flor's HII) will be voted out. If Brenda gets the most votes, the person with the second most votes will be voted out.

Personally, I want to see Na'Onka gone!

Okay, we have a majority for the bootee -- though not the one I'd prefer. Still, here are the results:

La Flor goes back and begins strategizing. Fabio begins pushing for Na'Onka to go home. Kelly B. is receptive but she doesn't want to rock the boat -- especially since Fabio is on the opposite side of the majority.

Chase tells Brenda that Benry is trying to get Fabio to join him in pushing for a Brenda vote. Brenda and Sash decide that it's time to get rid of Benry. Chase is willing to go along with it since he doesn't really trust Benry. Alina and Kelly B. also decide to go along with the plan, although Kelly B. really would rather get rid of Na'Onka. Na'Onka wants to get rid of Fabio but Brenda convinces her that Benry's a bigger threat.

The tribe heads to their second Tribal Council, where Jeff asks how they're doing. Benry and Fabio are not happy but hope they can get rid of Na'Onka. Fabio says that Na'Onka is a cancer to the tribe and should be gone. Na'Onka gets into an argument with him, of course.

Brenda says that her vote is going to the person she thinks is the biggest threat. Benry says that it should be her then. Brenda says that she's not worried -- Benry should be since Shannon's gone.

They then vote. Fabio votes for Na'Onka, saying that he hopes the others will see reason and vote for her. Brenda votes for Benry, saying that he's gunning for her so she's gunning for him first. Benry also votes for Na'Onka, saying that he really wanted to go for Brenda but Fabio reminded him that Chase might not go for the plan. Chase votes for Benry, saying that he can't trust the other guy.

Probst: Okay, I'll go tally the votes. (He does so as Na'Onka and Benry look on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Benry. Second vote ... Na'Onka. One vote Benry, one vote Na'Onka. Third vote ... Benry. Two votes Benry. Fourth vote ... Na'Onka. We're tied, two votes Benry, two votes Na'Onka. Fifth vote ... Benry. Three votes Benry. Sixth vote ... Benry. Four votes Benry, two votes Na'Onka. Seventh vote ... the fourth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua ... Benry. That's five, that's enough. Will you bring me your torch?

Benry glares at Chase before bringing his torch over to Jeff.

Probst: Benry, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Benry's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Benry nods and walks out.) Well, you decided to get rid of a strong competitor whom you saw as a threat. Will that work? Only time will tell. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

La Flor leaves. In his final words, Benry says that Chase sold him out for a girl, and that he'll pay for his weakness. We see that Benry and Fabio voted for Na'Onka but all the others voted for Benry.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Benry's gone. There's a tribal switch and I want you to decide who will be on the New La Flor and who will be on the new Espada. I'll look at your lists and decide based on majority votes, as always.

Okay, we have a majority, so here are the results:

La Flor returns from Tribal Council and Fabio is not very happy. He knows that he's on the wrong side of the numbers game and he's really hoping something will change -- either an Immunity win for La Flor or being with some members of Espada.

It doesn't help matters that the next day, Na'Onka is taunting Fabio since he's on the outs. She's convinced that Fabio will be the next to go from La Flor. She's part of the inner core with Brenda and Sash and they have Chase and Purple Kelly, with Alina and Kelly B. as outliers (at least in her head.) She thinks she's in total charge.

Meanwhile, Kelly B. and Alina are trying to get in good with Brenda and Sash, attempting to convince them to dispose of Na'Onka as soon as they get rid of Fabio since Na'Onka is a loose cannon. Brenda says in confessional that Kelly B. has a good point, but the fact that Na'Onka is such a loose cannon means nobody will vote for her to win.

Back on Espada, Jimmy J. is also a happy camper. He's got the Hidden Immunity Idol and he can use it anytime he feels like he's in real danger. He's also got some good friends, including Holly and Jane. He hopes things continue to go well.

Espada and La Flor head to their next challenge, where Espada is surprised to learn that Benry was sent packing. Probst then tells the tribes to drop their buffs. They draw for rocks, and Brenda and Holly get the "captain" rocks. Brenda has to choose three people from Espada to join her, while Holly has to choose three people from La Flor to join her.

Brenda chooses Jill, Marty and Tyrone to join her on La Flor. Holly chooses Alina, Fabio and Na'Onka to join her. Kelly B. is visibly relieved that Na'Onka is on the other side, while Fabio is less than pleased to be with Na'Onka.

*****************************************************************

Okay, the new Espada consists of Alina, Fabio, Holly, Jane, Jimmy J., Jimmy T., Na'Onka and Wendy. The new La Flor consists of Brenda, Chase, Jill, Kelly B., Kelly S., Marty, Sash and Tyrone. Now you must decide which tribe wins Reward. I'll take votes until tomorrow night. The tribe with the most votes will win Reward.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"
Posted by Belle Book on 01-01-11 at 01:44 PM
Okay, we have a majority already so I'll post the results:

Probst hands over the new buffs and tells them that they're now just plain Espada and La Flor. Then he asks Na'Onka what she thinks about the new tribe. She says it’s kind of hard because she got really close to many of the others on her old tribe and she’ll miss them. Then he asks Marty how he feels about being on La Flor. He says that he's looking forward to getting to know more of the younger people.

Probst explains the challenge –- the first this season for reward only: Two members of each tribe will throw a ball that will roll down a peg-filled wall, causing it to bounce and change direction along the way. Two members of the other tribe try to catch the balls before they hit the ground. If they do, the throwing tribe gets a point and that round is over so the pairs switch. First tribe to three points wins reward – two chickens and a rooster! Jane is so happy, she’s ready to wring the chicken’s neck!

And they're off! Fabio and Jimmy J. are catching for Espada while Chase and Tyrone catch for La Flor. Unfortunately, Jimmy J. quickly drops his ball and La Flor wins a point! Alina and Jimmy T. are up next for Espada while Marty and Sash are up for La Flor. Unfortunately Jimmy T. screws up the timing and La Flor wins another point. Then the first two teams are up again. Quickly one guy drops his ball:

Probst: La Flor wins Reward! (La Flor celebrates while Jimmy J. looks despondent -- he'd missed the ball.) La Flor, here is your reward. Espada, I have nothing for you. Go back and I'll see you at the Immunity Challenge.

La Flor heads off with the chickens and rooster while Espada heads back downcast.

*****************************************************************

Okay, now it's time to decide which tribe will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow. The tribe with the most votes will win Immunity while the losing tribe will have a date with Jeff at Tribal Council.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"
Posted by Belle Book on 01-02-11 at 02:22 PM
Okay, we have a majority so here are the results:

The new members of La Flor introduce themselves on the way back to camp. Jill, Marty and Tyrone are really nervous because they're in the minority. They only hope that they don't lose more than two Immunity Challenges since all of them might go home. Their best shot is to try to befriend the original La Flor members so they aren't sent home.

Na'Onka and Alina are thinking along similar lines. They want to ensure that both of them manage to stick around. But Fabio is thrilled to be on the new tribe! He's going to try to align himself with the original members of Espada and make sure Na'Onka goes home first.

So we see Jill, Marty and Tyrone trying to befriend the others on La Flor. In a confessional, Brenda says that she likes Jill but she thinks Marty and Tyrone are being overbearing. This is because we see Marty and Tyrone trying to get the other La Flor members to be more disciplined and less laid-back.

On Espada, Fabio goes up to the original Espada members and says that he'll join their side if they get rid of Na'Onka first. Holly says that they'll think about it. She later tells us that she's excited about Fabio's offer to jump ship but they already have a majority, so they don't really need Fabio on their side.

The next day, it's raining and pouring. Espada is getting cold and wet and Na'Onka is about ready to lose it. She wants to quit but Alina advises her against it. However, Fabio is absolutely thrilled by this turn of events and isn't about to discourage Na'Onka! However, Jimmy J. is able to encourage Na'Onka not to quit.

The storm continues all through the night and eventually it passes -- in time for the next Immunity Challenge! Probst asks Marty how things are at La Flor. He tells them that he's trying to whip the youngsters into shape, but they're all rather nice. At Espada, Fabio says that he's thrilled to have a second chance because he would've been gone next if the tribal switch hadn't occurred!

Probst then reveals the challenge: Three members of each tribe will be strapped to a large wheel, which will be spun by three other members, temporarily causing their tribemates to go under water, head-first, in a trough. While submerged, they have to take in a mouthful of water, which they will spit out into a small bowl at the top. Once the tube fills with water, it will flip and release a ball. Then the two remaining tribe members will use that ball to break tiles. First tribe to break all five tiles wins immunity.

Brenda and both Kellys are strapped in the wheel for La Flor. Holly, Jane and Jimmy J. are strapped in for Espada. Chase, Jill and Tyrone are spinning the wheel for La Flor while Alina, Jimmy T. and Na'Onka do it for Espada. Marty and Sash aim for La For while Fabio and Wendy aim for Espada.

And they're off. La Flor is able to fill their water tube first, freeing Marty and Sash to break the tiles. However, Espada is right behind them. Soon it's four tiles for La Flor and four for Espada. Finally, one person misses their tile while another one breaks it:

Probst: La Flor wins Immunity! (Marty is thrilled while Wendy, who missed, looks downcast. Jeff hands the Immunity Idol to Marty.) La Flor, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. Espada, you have a date with me at Tribal Council where somebody will be voted out. You have all afternoon to think about who will be voted out. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal.

La Flor heads out, delighted while Espada heads back, very downcast.

****************************************************************

Okay, Espada has lost Immunity and will be heading to Tribal Council. I want you to decide who will be voted out. I'll take votes until tonight and the person with the most votes will be the fifth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?

And for the third straight time, Na'Onka escapes elimination! I really was hoping there'd be one more vote for her so that I could get rid of her once and for all! Guess she's just too entertaining to get rid of right away. Anyway, here are the results:

When Espada returns from the Immunity Challenge, people begin scheming right away. Alina and Na'Onka decide that they have to convince the other members of Espada to get rid of one of their own so that they can get one step closer to the merge.

Luckily for Na'Onka, they get their chance when Wendy blames herself for the loss -- openly. Worse yet, she begins saying that she's homesick. The other members of Espada are torn -- they'd rather get rid of Alina or Na'Onka (more likely Na'Onka) but they don't want to keep someone around whose heart might not be in the game.

Jimmy J. tries to get Wendy's head back into the game just as he did with Holly and Na'Onka, but this time Wendy is so down in the dumps that his advice is falling on deaf ears. Jimmy J. is now seriously considering getting rid of Wendy. Fabio is both delighted and upset -- delighted because he's going to take Wendy's place, upset because Na'Onka will still be around.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asks how Alina, Fabio and Na'Onka are doing. Alina says that she's worried but she hopes she's not a target this time. Fabio is delighted to be with some elders since he was on the outs back on La Flor. And Na'Onka is hoping the fact that she had considered quitting doesn't come back to haunt her.

The older members are then asked about the younger ones. Jimmy J. says that he likes Alina and Fabio but Na'Onka had trouble yesterday. But she wasn't the only one who wanted out -- Wendy also wanted out. Wendy admitted that she felt so down about her role in Espada's loss that she was ready to pack it in. Jeff was surprised but he was relieved when she said that she wasn't going to quit outright.

Then it was time to vote. Na'Onka voted for Wendy, saying that she hoped she survived this round. Wendy voted for Na'Onka, saying that she had to vote for somebody.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Na'Onka and Wendy.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Jimmy J. doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are in, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Na'Onka. Second vote ... Wendy. One vote Na'Onka, one vote Wendy. Third vote ... Na'Onka. Two votes Na'Onka. Fourth vote ... Wendy. We're tied, two votes Na'Onka, two votes Wendy. Fifth vote ... Wendy. Three votes Wendy. Sixth vote ... Wendy. Four votes Wendy, two votes Na'Onka. Seventh vote ... the fifth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua ... Wendy. That's five, that's enough. Will you bring me your torch?

Wendy heads over with her torch.

Probst: Wendy, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Wendy's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Wendy leaves.) Well, you had two people who wanted out and you sent one home. Was it the right person? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

The remaining members of Espada leave. In her final words, Wendy says that she was ready to leave. Fabio was the only other person to vote for Na'Onka -- the others all voted for Wendy to go home.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Wendy was voted out. Now it's time to decide which person from La Flor and which one from Espada wins Individual Immunity -- and which tribe gets the Reward feast. I'll take votes until tomorrow. The people with the most votes win Immunity and the tribe with the most votes wins the feast -- although both tribes will vote someone out!

I see you are learning from Burnett!

I have Espada = Alina, Fabio, Holly, Jane, Jimmy J., Jimmy T., Na'Onka.

La Flor = Brenda, Chase, Jill, Kelly B., Kelly S., Marty, Sash and Tyrone. Right?

In that case:
Na'Onka wins immunity and the feast for Espada.
Kelly Bruno wins immunity.

(Holly had written "laison" instead of "liaison" so immunity had to be taken back!)

And we have a majority both for Immunity and the Reward, so here are the results:

It's the next day and it's raining. At Espada, Na'Onka is going around asking who voted for her (besides Wendy, of course). All the original Espada members say that they voted for Wendy, and Fabio comes clean, saying that he voted for Na'Onka. He tells us in confessional that it was a message vote, since he knew the others would be voting for Wendy. He's looking forward to the time when he can see Na'Onka's torch snuffed.

On La Flor, the weather is a topic of discussion -- as is the fact that the original Espada members are still vulnerable. Jill, Marty and Tyrone hope that there are only two Tribal Councils -- and one is a double one -- before the merge, since that would ensure that one of them made the merge.

Meanwhile, the original members of La Flor are all discussing who the next vote should be. They don't want to give up their majority, so the target is going to be an original Espada member. Tyrone's really strong so they don't want to get rid of him right away, but they're unsure if they want to get rid of Jill or Marty first. Kelly B. tells us in confessional that part of her hopes that Na'Onka is gone, but part of her wants to gain majority at the merge so that part wants Na'Onka around.

It's challenge time again and La Flor notices that Wendy is gone, much to the surprise of Kelly B. and the disappointment of Jill, Marty and Tyrone. Probst takes the tribal immunity idol and then tells them they’re playing for one of two individual immunity necklaces! Both tribes are going to Tribal Council to vote somebody out. But first they have the challenge, which he explains: Each player will race into an individual digging area on the beach, where they will use a paddle to dig up a rope braid, toss it over their shoulder to a basked on their bag, and race back to start to put it on a post. The first person to get all three rings wins immunity! Then that person will compete in a ring toss against the winner of the other tribe for tribal reward –- a kabob feast that will be enjoyed during the other tribe’s Tribal Council.

Espada is up first. Jimmy T. is the first person to dig up his rope braid, but he can't get his in. Alina, Fabio, Holly, Jimmy J. and Na'Onka get their braids and start throwing theirs as well. Alina, Fabio, Holly and Na'Onka get their first rings in and head back to get their second braids. Fabio and Na'Onka get their second rings in and head back to get their third braids. But one gets their ring first:

Probst: Na'Onka wins Immunity! (Fabio is distinctly less than pleased.) Okay La Flor, you're up now.

Sash and Brenda get one, as does Chase and Marty. Tyrone, Jill and Kelly B. are on the board, while Purple Kelly doesn’t have any rings. But then Kelly B. gets her second ring, followed by Marty! They dig up their third braids, but one misses while the other gets their ring:

Probst: Kelly B. wins Immunity! (Marty looks disappointed as Kelly B. cheers.)

It's now Kelly B. and Na'Onka for Reward. They each take three rope rings and start throwing at three pegs on a wooden shield. Na'Onka quickly gets the first hit, and the second. Kelly B. keeps trying and finally gets a hit, but:

Probst: Espada wins Reward! (Na'Onka celebrates while Kelly B. shrugs apologetically.) Espada, you will have your Tribal Council first, where you will vote someone out. Then you will have your feast while La Flor has their Tribal Council. You will leave before it's time for them to vote someone out. Both tribes have all afternoon to decide. Head back to camp and I'll see both tribes at Tribal.

We see Espada heading out, cheering, while La Flor heads back, pretty downcast.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Na'Onka has won Immunity (ugh!) and Reward for Espada while Kelly B. won Immunity on La Flor. Now you need to decide which person from Espada and which one from La Flor should be voted out. I'll take votes until tomorrow at the latest and the people with the most votes will be the sixth and seventh people voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?. However, you can't vote for Kelly B. or Na'Onka as both have Immunity. And if Brenda or Jimmy J. have the most votes, the people with the second most votes will be voted out.

We have a clear majority for La Flor and a slight majority for Espada, so here are the results:

Espada returned from the challenge thrilled over getting the food for Reward. However, the excitement soon faded as talk turned to who would be getting the boot. Jane had enough of Jimmy T. and was now leading the charge to get rid of him. However, Jimmy T. said that since they were in the minority, they had to get rid of their weakest link. Jimmy J. then revealed that he had the Hidden Immunity Idol, so nobody could get rid of him. Since Holly realized she was a fairly weak link, she decided that they had to target Jane instead.

Alina and Fabio of course were quite willing to go along with the plan since it meant they'd be safe, so they also pushed getting rid of Jane. However, Na'Onka decided she wanted Fabio to get a message vote, since he gave her a vote in the last Tribal Council!

Meanwhile on La Flor, the two factions instantly split apart and started talking about who they wanted to get rid of. The original La Flor members decided that Jill was weaker than Marty, so they all agreed that Jill was to be the target. Jill, Marty and Tyrone decided to target Chase because they didn't think he had the Hidden Immunity Idol and because they suspected him of being real wishy-washy.

Espada came for their Tribal Council and Jeff asked them about the state of things. Na'Onka said that thanks to Jimmy J. she was now more willing to at least try to make it to the merge and see where she could go from there. Part of it, of course, is because she has Immunity. Alina and Fabio both feel nervous because they might be the next to go but are hoping that the original members of Espada might turn on each other first.

We now find out that Jimmy T. is something of a pain in the neck with his focus on getting food and arguments with Jimmy J. concerning the leadership of the tribe, which is one reason why Jane wants to get rid of him. However, Jimmy J. says that the real focus should be on keeping their tribe strong. Jane then protests that without her, the tribe wouldn't have fire but it's pointed out to her that they have flint and can make a fire with it anytime they wish.

Finally, it's time to vote. Na'Onka votes for Fabio, telling him it's just a message vote. Jane votes for Jimmy T., telling him that he had it coming. Jimmy T. votes for Jane, saying that she's the weakest link.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Fabio, Jane and Jimmy T. all looking on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Jimmy J. doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Fabio. Second vote ... Jane. One vote Fabio, one vote Jane. Third vote ... Jimmy T. That's one vote Fabio, one vote Jane, one vote Jimmy T. Fourth vote ... Jane. Two votes Jane, one vote Fabio, one vote Jimmy T. Fifth vote ... the sixth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua ... Jane. That's three, that's enough. Will you bring me your torch?

Jane glares at the rest before going up to get her torch.

Probst: Jane, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Jane's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Jane gives one last glare before she leaves.) Well, you decided that it was better to keep a strong if annoying guy than a weak but more likeable woman. Was that the right decision? We'll find out. But for now, it's time for you to go have your feast.

The remaining members of Espada all head to the table as we hear Jane give her final words. She says that Espada will pay for keeping Jimmy T. around. We see that only Na'Onka voted for Fabio and only Jane voted for Jimmy T. -- the others voted for Jane.

As the remaining members of Espada eat, La Flor enters. Jeff lets them know that Jane was voted out. Jill, Marty and Tyrone all look really worried at that. Jeff asks Jill, Marty and Tyrone how they feel about being on La Flor. They are all very worried, since they are in the minority on their new tribe and now that they are at their first Tribal Council, they know the odds are good that one of them will be going home.

Jeff reminds them that Espada voted out two original members so there's always hope for them. Jill admits that they have been trying to crack the La Flor alliance, but so far they haven't been having any luck. They have been trying to push for the original members of La Flor to vote out Chase, since they feel he's so wishy-washy. But when asked if the original La Flor members are biting, Brenda denies it, as does Kelly B.

Finally, Espada is told they can leave, and they do. Then La Flor has to vote. We see Jill vote for Chase, saying that they have to vote for someone, while Brenda votes for Jill, saying that she's weaker than Marty or Tyrone.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Chase and Jill looking on as Jeff does so.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are in, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Chase. Second vote ... Jill. One vote Chase, one vote Jill. Third vote ... Chase. Two votes Chase. Fourth vote ... Jill. We're tied; two votes Chase, two votes Jill. Fifth vote ... Chase. That's three votes Chase. Sixth vote .. Jill. We're tied again; three votes Chase, three votes Jill. Seventh vote ... Jill. That's four votes Jill, three votes Chase, one vote left. (Probst looks at it.) The seventh person voted out of Survivor: Nicaragua ... Jill. Will you bring me your torch?

Jill sadly shrugs before getting up and heading over to Probst.

Probst: Jill, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Jill's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Jill leaves quietly.) Well unlike Espada, you voted along tribal lines. Marty and Tyrone, you really have your work cut out for you if you wish to make it to the merge. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

La Flor leaves as Jill does her final words. She feels that she got screwed by the tribal switch and wishes Marty and Tyrone the best. We see that only Jill, Marty and Tyrone voted for Chase ... the others all voted for Jill.

****************************************************************

Okay, Jane and Jill are the sixth and seventh people voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?. Now it's time for Reward! I want you to decide which tribe wins Reward. I'll take votes until tonight. The tribe with the most votes wins Reward. Good luck!

Jiffy's Fantasy...reward is a complete backwoods copper still with mash and Jane's recipe for home brew. Marty cooks up a batch of corporate white lightning. Tyrone plays bartender and makes a play for Purple Kelly......Chase drinks up the liquid courage and sweeps Brenda off her feet. Kelly B left with Marty decides what the heck and throws caution and her leg to the wind.

Camera crews capture everything on high def and high five each other. They know this stuff will wind up in Burnett's Special Outtakes and they've earned a big bonus.

Reward festivities were re-filmed for mass consumption thereby exposing missyae's inside spoiler connection.

Funny reward, Suzzee! In any case, we have a unanimous vote, so here are the results:

On the way back from Tribal Council, Marty and Tyrone are very worried. They know that they're being picked off one by one and worse, the original Espada members are voting out their own! They know that they have to avoid a second Tribal Council for both of them to have a chance to make the merge -- if the merge occurs with 12 left, that is.

Marty tells us in confessional that he has to make sure he makes the merge, even if it's at the expense of Tyrone. So he's going to try to make himself as unthreatening as he possibly can in the challenges, since he doesn't have the Hidden Immunity Idol.

Back on Espada, Alina and Fabio are relieved that they avoided the vote as well! Fabio is hoping that either Espada gets rid of Na'Onka or that they win Immunity. He suspects Na'Onka voted for him and plans to get her to talk trash so the others know just how much of a loose cannon she is.

We then cut to the next day, when Fabio starts asking others who voted for whom. Alina had told him she voted for Jane. Holly says that she voted for Jane, as do Jimmy J. and Jimmy T. So either Jane or Na'Onka voted for Fabio. Na'Onka admits right away that she did it, and tells him that it was payback both for voting against her the previous Tribal Council and for stealing her socks (in her mind, at least).

Na'Onka goes on and on about how mean it was to take her socks. In confessional, Holly notes that Na'Onka really is a loose cannon and wonders whether they should get rid of her next -- assuming that they have to go to Tribal Council before the merge, that is.

Challenge time! The tribes show up for the reward challenge and Espada notes that Jill is gone. Host Jeff Probst explains the challenge: One member of each tribe, the defender, will stand on a perch in a small rectangular pool of water. One at a time, members of the other tribe leap off a platform and into the water, trying to throw a ball past the defender and into the net. Each ball in the net is a point; first tribe to five wins. And the reward is a Nicaraguan farm experience the next morning. There will be horseback riding, a breakfast of tortillas, eggs, cheese, and fresh milk that they’ll actually collect from the cows!

Kelly S. sits out for La Flor. The defenders are Chase and Fabio. Brenda is up first for La Flor and easily gets a point against him. Alina is up next and barely gets a point past Chase! Then Kelly B. is up next -- and she fakes out Fabio, getting another point for La Flor! Holly is up next -- and fires a shot that Chase blocks! Marty misses his shot against Fabio, while Chase blocks Jimmy J.'s shot. Sash fakes out Fabio as well, while Jimmy T. slams a point past Chase! Then it's Tyrone's turn, and he gets a shot past Fabio as well. Na'Onka slams a shot, but Chase blocks it. Brenda now has the chance to win for La Flor. She aims her shot, moves like she's going to throw one way, but then throws it a different way:

Probst: La Flor wins Reward! (La Flor cheer and Espada looks downcast.) La Flor, you'll get your reward tomorrow morning. Espada, I have nothing for you. Head back to camp.

La Flor is jubilant as they all head off, while Espada goes off really glum.

*****************************************************************

Okay, La Flor has won Reward. Now it's time to decide which tribe will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tomorrow. The tribe with the most votes will win Immunity while the losing tribe has a date with Jeff at Tribal Council.

Okay, we have a majority so here are the results:

Jimmy J. is fishing for Espada the next day while Jimmy T. is gathering wood and other stuff for a fire. They are really working hard while the younger members sleep in (or at least Fabio and Na'Onka are sleeping in).

Alina is working hard so that Espada doesn't have any reason to send her packing. She wants to reunite with the other La Flor members at the merge.

Meanwhile, La Flor is off horseback riding, which brings back great memories for Chase of his father and growing up. Then it’s time to milk the cow. The farmer shows them how and they each take their turns. Kelly B. is happy that she learned how to milk a cow.

Back on Espada, Jimmy J. has got fish and Jimmy T. has begun a fire. They briefly wonder if they should get the lazybones up to eat or if they should just start eating. However, it's unnecessary -- Alina wakes up the others.

La Flor is eating at the Reward as well, and things are really heating up between Chase and Brenda! Chase is really flirting with Brenda, which gives Tyrone the idea of flirting with one of the other women in hopes that one of them might help protect him. He chooses Kelly B. Marty, however, is less interested in flirting to save himself and more interested in striking a deal with one of the others to save himself. He tries making a deal with Sash -- Marty will help get rid of Tyrone if Sash keeps Marty from going home for at least one Tribal Council after the merge. Although Sash is interested, he says in confessional that he's not sure if he'll be able to keep such a promise if there is more than one TC before the merge and if La Flor loses more than one TC before then.

The next day, it’s time for the immunity challenge. The tribes show up and hand over the immunity necklaces –- it’s back to tribal immunity today. Probst explains that two members from each tribe will stand at the top of a tower and roll cannonballs down a long, steep chute. Meanwhile, the other four tribe members will use a rope system to aim the chute so the ball flies off and breaks one of the other tribe’s tiles. The first tribe to break all five of the other tribe’s tiles wins immunity.

Sash decides to sit out for La Flor. Alina and Jimmy J. roll for Espada while Brenda & Purple Kelly roll for La Flor. Jimmy J.'s first shot just misses, while Purple Kelly's shot gives La Flor a point! Then Alina ties the score as Brenda misses. Jimmy J. misses a second time, but so does Purple Kelly. Brenda misses -- and Alina scores! However, Jimmy J. misses again, and Purple Kelly ties the score. Alina then gets another point while Brenda misses, but Purple Kelly ties the score again. Jimmy J. and Brenda miss their next balls but Alina and Purple Kelly get theirs. Finally, Alina and Brenda are up, each with a chance of getting Immunity. Both put their balls in and roll them -- but one barely misses while the other one hits:

Probst: Espada wins Immunity! (Espada cheers while Brenda gets mad at herself. Alina gets the Immunity Idol from Probst.) Espada, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. La Flor, you have a date with me at Tribal Council, where someone will be voted out! You have all afternoon to decide. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal.

Espada heads back, Alina leading the way. La Flor heads out, downcast.

****************************************************************

Okay, La Flor lost Immunity and has a date with Jeff at Tribal. You must decide who will be voted out. I'll take votes until tomorrow. The person with the most votes will be the eighth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If? -- unless you vote for Brenda, who has the Hidden Immunity Idol. If she gets the most votes, the one with the second most votes will go home.

A Tribe masterpiece

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"

We have a majority -- although not the one I was expecting. Still, here are the results:

La Flor heads back and begins plotting. Brenda suggests that since there are two original members of Espada left, they should get rid of one of them. Since she thinks Tyrone is stronger than Marty, she suggests Tyrone gets voted out.

However, Marty and Tyrone have a plan to save themselves. They note that Brenda and Chase are a couple and thus might well be unbreakable. They decide to plant the seed that the tribe has to get rid of one of them -- preferably Brenda as they think she's stronger than Chase.

However, when Tyrone suggests this to Kelly B., she decides it might be a good idea to figure out if one of those two has the Hidden Immunity Idol. So she tells Brenda. Brenda decides the best way to save herself is to let the people know she'll use the HII if they go against her. So she reveals to Kelly B. that she has the HII. Kelly B. advises her to tell only the original La Flor members and let them think that she doesn't have it. Brenda tells us in confessional that while she likes Chase, she's willing to sacrifice him if she has to.

And indeed, since Marty also told Sash that they have to get rid of either Brenda or Chase because those two might be a couple, he decides to get on board with the plan. So while Marty and Tyrone are talking about their efforts and Chase is out trying to get some fish, Brenda tells the others that she has the HII. The others are willing to get rid of Chase.

But Chase isn't entirely an idiot. When he returns, he notes that the mood has changed and asks Brenda if the plan is still to get rid of Tyrone. She says it is, but something tells him the plan might have been changed and he doesn't know what to do about it, if indeed he's the new target.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asks Marty and Tyrone if they feel they are still in danger. Marty says he might be in danger but he thinks he'll make it to the merge because he's not as strong as Tyrone. Tyrone admits that he's very worried but he's hoping he's made a connection that could save him -- and he also hopes that he's planted some seeds that could turn the vote in a different direction.

When asked about it, he says that he noted that Brenda and Chase were really close and he hopes he can use it against them. When asked how close Brenda and Chase are, Chase says that he'll never go against Brenda while Brenda merely says that she likes Chase but is willing to do what it takes to survive this round.

When asked what connections Marty and Tyrone might have made, Marty says that he's been trying to get close to Sash while Tyrone says that he's been flirting with Kelly B. Kelly B. says that she likes Tyrone but she's been with the original La Flor members longer so she's really loyal to them while Sash says that he's willing to use Marty if necessary.

With that, it's time to vote. Chase votes for Tyrone, saying that the guy's just too strong. Tyrone votes for Brenda, saying that she's the stronger one between her and Chase. Brenda votes for Chase, saying that she's got to do what she's got to do.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (Brenda, Chase and Tyrone all look on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda doesn't move.) Okay, once the votes are in, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Brenda. Second vote ... Chase. One vote Brenda, one vote Chase. Third vote ... Tyrone. One vote Brenda, one vote Chase, one vote Tyrone. Fourth vote ... Brenda. Fifth vote ... Chase. That's two votes Brenda, two votes Chase, one vote Tyrone. (Chase looks worried.) Sixth vote ... Chase. Three votes Chase, two votes Brenda, one vote Tyrone, one vote left. (Chase now looks resigned as Probst looks at the last vote.) The eighth person voted out of Survivor: Nicaragua ... Chase. Will you bring me your torch?

Chase sighs, gets up, grabs his torch and heads over to Probst.

Probst: Chase, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Chase's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Chase walks out.) Well, the original La Flor members decided to turn on one of their own instead of an original Espada member. Will that work? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

La Flor heads back to camp. In his final words, Chase says that he realized during TC that he was on his way out. He congratulates Marty and Tyrone for convincing the other La Flor members to break him and Brenda up. We see that Marty joined Tyrone in voting against Brenda while Kelly B., Purple Kelly and Sash joined Brenda in voting out Chase.

****************************************************************

Okay, Chase has been voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?. Next up is the merge! I want you to decide which camp will be the merge site -- and which man and which woman will win individual Immunity. I'll take votes until tonight. Upon having the light of his life voting to have the light of his torch snuffed, Chase heads down the path of least resistance (it's futile anyway). After clearing the glow of tribal council he discovers two paths before him. He starts down the right path but stops, backs up and starts down the other one. After several minutes (edited to look like minutes, production had to send new cameramen and construction equipment to relieve the dehydrated crew and to help fill in the trenches he created) Chase finally makes like an amoeba and splits himself into, just to cover all the bases. very messy indeed.

But Chase isn't entirely an idiot.
Still, it's a close call

Merging at La Flor, immunity winners Kelly B and Marty.

Okay, we have a majority for the tribe and a majority for the woman who wins Immunity but there's a tie for the man who wins Immunity, so I'll break it. In the meantime, here are the results of the vote:

La Flor returns to Tribal Council and Marty and Tyrone are both jubilant and worried. On the one hand, they're jubilant because they survived! On the other hand, they're worried because they thought Brenda was a bigger threat but Chase was the one sent home. Still, they're more jubilant than worried -- for now.

Brenda tells us in confessional that she's a little sad that she voted out Chase, but it was either him or her. She also seems to have earned some respect from the other original La Flor members for putting her feelings aside and voting for Chase.

The next day at Espada, Fabio brings in treemail -- a key and a map, along with directions telling them to pack up all their belongings to go to their new home. They all conclude that it’s time for the merge, so off they go. Jimmy J. is happy to have made the merge. His goal now is simply to make the jury.

Meanwhile, La Flor arrives at their treemail site and finds a chest with a note that tells them not to open it until “company” arrives at camp. Obviously the merge is here and both Marty and Tyrone are thrilled about this turn of events! They want to reconnect with the original Espada and avoid a Pagaonging by La Flor. Kelly B. is also happy that Alina will be back but she's not so happy that Na'Onka will be there as well.

Espada arrives and they are surprised to see that Chase is gone from La Flor. There are hugs all around. They open the chest and find a note with the expected feast. There is bread, oranges, chocolate chip cookies, salami, rum and new red buffs!

Marty suggests the name "Libertad" and everyone is on board with it. As the people begin eating, Na'Onka starts stashing stuff here and there. Brenda and Na'Onka reconnect and Brenda tells Na'Onka why Chase went. Alina and Kelly B. also reconnect and they walk off to do some talking. They conclude that they have to stick with La Flor until there are only two original Espada members left, whereupon they plan to get rid of Na'Onka and Brenda before turning on the original Espada members. From there, they'll decide who would be the best person from La Flor to take to the Final 3. But they know things might change.

The next morning, Na'Onka is not happy! She was the last to get a tortilla for breakfast -- and it was the smallest one as well! She decides she can play that game as well – she snags flour out of the chest and slips it into her bag, then walks away. However, she’s no master thief, as Kelly B. saw her do it! Unaware of this turn of events, she hides the flour, then bowls, spoons, fruit (some of which she eats) and stashes it all over the place.

Kelly B. tells Alina what they saw and they decide this would be a great opportunity to start laying the groundwork for getting rid of Na'Onka. Since Na'Onka still hates Kelly B., the plan is for Kelly B. to be the "bad cop" and put enough pressure on Na'Onka that eventually she'll break and quit -- especially since Alina informed Kelly B. that Na'Onka almost quit once before the merge!

When people start noticing that stuff is missing, Kelly B. says that she saw Na'Onka stealing flour. Na'Onka starts getting really defensive and Kelly B. does a great job of keeping the pressure on Na'Onka, aided by Fabio, until Na'Onka storms off. Marty and Tyrone are happy about this, since stealing food usually means you're on the chopping block and they hope this means Na'Onka is going home.

However, Brenda and Sash still want to keep Na'Onka around for their own purposes. So they decide that the strongest one from Espada who doesn't have Immunity should be the one to go home -- they'll keep Na'Onka around until all the others from Espada are gone.

The next day, Kelly B. lays off the pressure on Na'Onka a little bit. Although she still wants Na'Onka gone, she wants La Flor to maintain their majority more than she wants Na'Onka gone. Meanwhile, Brenda tells the original La Flor members that she has the Hidden Immunity Idol, and Fabio reveals that Jimmy J. has the other one. They all agree that Jimmy J. shouldn't be the target until he can no longer use the HII -- or else they should get it from him before voting him out.

It's time for the Immunity Challenge! Libertad arrives and host Jeff Probst notes that tribal immunity is gone (duh) and they now seek individual immunity. Probst explains the challenge: They will have two metal handles that fit over steel bars. They need to keep tension on the bar by pulling on each side of the handlges or else it will slip through and break a tile, knocking that contestant out. The last man and the last woman standing win immunity.

The contestants lift the bars and start trying to keep them up. Jimmy J. is the first one to be unable to keep his up and he drops his, followed by Purple Kelly. Some time later, Brenda drops hers, followed by Na'Onka and Sash. Holly is struggling, while Alina and Kelly B. are still doing well. Holly drops hers next, followed by Fabio. Jimmy T., Marty and Tyrone are the only ones left for the guys. Finally one of the girls drops their bar by accident:

Probst: Alina wins Immunity! (She gently lowers her bar so that the tile won't break as the guys keep going. Jimmy T. is the next to drop his when his concentration lapses. It's now down to Marty and Tyrone -- and one drops his bar.) Tyrone wins Immunity! (Tyrone hugs Alina and then both head over to get their necklaces.) Alina and Tyrone, you each have individual Immunity and are safe from the vote. The rest of you are in danger. You have all afternoon to decide who will be the next person voted out. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal Council.

Alina and Tyrone head out delighted, while the others trail behind, with Marty looking really nervous.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I broke the tie and had Tyrone win Immunity, while Alina got the majority of the votes for the women. Now I want you to decide who will be voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If? I'll take votes until tomorrow. The one with the most votes will become the first member of the jury -- unless that person is Brenda or Jimmy J., in which case the person with the second most votes will be the first jury member.

BTW, I'm willing to let Na'Onka survive this round and instead have her quit when the time comes, so my story was laying the groundwork for Na'Onka eventually quitting. And I don't want Kelly B. gone -- at least, not yet.

I vote Jimmy T: That guy's still here? How did that happen? I guess Sears must have paid to keep him around. But I'm with you Vince, time for him to go.

PS: Thanks for the list Belle. I thought Jane was still around and was about to vote for her again!

Well, we have a majority, so I'll post the results:

As Libertad returns to camp, we hear Tyrone do a confessional. He's happy to have Immunity, since he believed he was the most likely target to go home. He hopes to use his connection with Kelly B. to convince her to vote out Na'Onka and hopefully get someone else from the original La Flor tribe to agree. So he gets together with the original members of Espada, where he and Marty suggest that Na'Onka be voted out. They all agree since Na'Onka is such a loose cannon.

Unfortunately for Tyrone, the original La Flor members are holding their own council -- and Na'Onka is part of it. Since Holly and Marty aren't strong enough and Jimmy J. has the Hidden Immunity Idol, they all decide to vote out Jimmy T. Although Fabio would rather get rid of Na'Onka, he sees the wisdom of getting rid of a threat from Espada, so he agrees.

Tyrone approaches Kelly B. and suggests it might be best to send Na'Onka to the jury. Kelly B. says that she'll think about it but she tells us in confessional that she knows better than to give Espada any chance to get back in the game.

Jimmy T. realizes that he's probably one of the top candidates to go on the chopping block from Espada, approaches Fabio and tries to get him to help vote out Na'Onka. Fabio tells us that he's really tempted to get rid of Na'Onka, but he keeps telling himself that they have to decimate Espada first. He just finds it very hard to keep telling himself that.

At Tribal Council, Probst asks how the merge went. Na'Onka's actions are brought up and Na'Onka goes into total defensive mode, yelling back at the others and causing Jeff to shake his head in disbelief. Talk turns to Immunity and Tyrone admits that he's happy he won Immunity as he believes he might be on the chopping block tonight without it. When asked who thinks they might be on the chopping block, Jimmy T., Kelly B. and Marty raise their hands. Jimmy T. thinks he's a target because he's viewed as a threat to win Immunity Challenges in the future. Kelly B. and Marty think they're targets because they nearly won individual Immunity for the girls and the guys, respectively. Na'Onka doesn't raise her hand.

Finally, it's time to vote. Tyrone votes for Na'Onka, hoping that they have enough votes to get rid of her. Kelly B. votes for Jimmy T., saying that they have to get rid of the threats from Espada first.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (Jimmy T. and Na'Onka are shown looking on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda and Jimmy J. don't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Jimmy T. Second vote ... Na'Onka. One vote Jimmy T., one vote Na'Onka. Third vote ... Jimmy T. Two votes Jimmy T. Fourth vote ... Na'Onka. We're tied; two votes Jimmy T., two votes Na'Onka. Fifth vote ... Jimmy T. Three votes Jimmy T. Sixth vote ... Na'Onka. We're tied again -- three votes Jimmy T., three votes Na'Onka. Seventh vote ... Jimmy T. Four votes Jimmy T. Eighth vote ... Na'Onka. That's four votes Jimmy T., four votes Na'Onka. Ninth vote ... Jimmy T. Five votes Jimmy T. Tenth vote ... Na'Onka. We're tied again. Five votes Jimmy T., five votes Na'Onka. Eleventh vote ... Jimmy T. (Jimmy T. and Tyrone look nervous.) That's six votes Jimmy T., five votes Na'Onka, one vote left. (Probst looks at the vote.) The ninth person voted out and the first member of our jury ... Jimmy T. (Jimmy T. hangs his head as Tyrone looks unhappy.) Will you bring me your torch?

Jimmy T. gets up, grabs his torch and heads over to Probst.

Probst: Jimmy T., the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Jimmy T.'s torch.) It's time for you to go. (Jimmy T. exits.) Well, it appears that the vote went along tribal lines. Will this continue? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

Libertad heads out. In his final words, Jimmy T. says that he and Tyrone tried their best, but original loyalties were too strong. He wishes Espada all the best. We see that Holly, Jimmy J., Jimmy T., Marty and Tyrone voted for Na'Onka, but the others voted for Jimmy T.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Jimmy T. has been voted out. Now it's time for the next Reward Challenge. It'll be in teams of four vs. four, with one person sitting out. I want you to divide the teams up before deciding who gets to sit out and which team gets to win Reward. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow morning. The people with the most votes for the team that was chosen for them will be on that team; the person with the most votes for sitting out will sit out and the team with the most votes will win Reward.

Libertad draws rocks and Holly is the odd person out.

By some strange twist of fate, the tribe was divided across gender lines--an all male team vs. a team of younger women:

Fabio, Marty, Tyrone, Sash, Jimmy J.
vs.
Kelly B., Brenda, Alina, NaOnka, Kelly S.

SpotTheDifference, I think there's no such thing in Survivor as drawing rocks! Jimmy J is the star so he decides who will be on his team:

Jimmy J will be the coach, Fabio, Marty and Tyrone will be his players, Brenda will cheer them on to victory.

Holly, Sash, Na'Onka, Purple Kelly and Alina will be the team of designated losers.

Kelly B. has been too busy so she's left to sit on the sidelines.

NaOnka, Fabio, Brenda, and Jimmy J. are one team

Both Kellys, Tyrone, Marty are the other

Holly sits out... picks the Kellys/Tyrone/Marty team and they pull it off.

Okay, we have a majority for the teams and for who will sit out the challenge, so I'll post the results and decide which team wins, since Spot the Difference hadn't really said which team would win:

As Libertad returned, the original La Flor members were totally delighted -- they had the majority and could pick off Espada one by one. The original Espada members weren't so pleased, but Marty had an idea -- they could stave off a Pagaonging if they either convinced the original La Flor members to dump some of their own first or if they got one to quit. Since he'd learned that Na'Onka had been close to quitting, he decided that they should try to convince Na'Onka to quit by putting a lot of pressure on her. Jimmy J. wasn't so happy about that idea, but the others were willing to go along with it.

The next day, Marty began his campaign to get Na'Onka to quit, taunting her and making insinuations. Na'Onka got incredibly defensive and got into shouting matches with Marty. Kelly B. was delighted at this turn of events, since the pressure might cause Na'Onka to quit without Kelly B. even needing to do the job herself! Brenda tells Na'Onka not to let Marty bother her too much, since he's on the minority.

Fortunately for Na'Onka, the Reward Challenge is up next. Libertad walks in and host Jeff Probst tells them they will be randomly divided into two teams. On go, they will have to make it through a series of obstacles, working together to collect three keys. Then they will use those keys to open locks, which will raise their flag. The winning team will go on a canopy tour and zipline across the tree tops. After the tour, it’s a barbecue! Chicken, steak, potato chips, apple pie, and beer are all on the menu.

Thanks to a random draw, Holly winds up sitting out. What's more, all the women are on one team and all the men on the other! Holly chooses to back the women since she thinks Jimmy J. will slow down the men and the women are all young.

And they’re off! The first obstacle is a hay wall they have to plow through. The women are working together while the men seem to be running over one another. The men get their act together as both teams lift up one member to reach the key, which they have to pull off a spiral. Purple Kelly has the women’s first, with Fabio close behind.

The teams next have to do a crawl. Jimmy J. really falls behind on this one, allowing the women to get a big lead. Then it's time to break through a wall of mesh sticks. Although the men are able to gain some time, the women get through it first. Then it's time for a net crawl. Jimmy J. once again struggles, causing the women to pull out in front again. But when the women have to go through two brick walls -- with one layer of brick thick), the men catch up.

The women hit the locks first, followed by the men. It's a race to open the locks, with one team finishing just before the other:

Probst: The women win Reward! (Alina, Brenda, Kelly B., Na'Onka and Purple Kelly all cheer. Jimmy J. looks downcast as the other men look unhappy.) You guys don't look happy.

Jimmy J: I lost the challenge for the guys.

Tyrone: And I'm starving!

Unfortunately for Tyrone, the women aren't willing to let any of the men accompany them, so the men have to go back to camp empty-handed while the women (including Holly) head off for a fun time!

*****************************************************************

Okay, I chose to have the women win Reward and to have Holly pick the other women. Now it's time to choose who will win Immunity. You have until tonight to vote and the person with the most votes will win Immunity and be safe from the vote.

The Immunity Challenge, which was picked well in advance mind you... is a standing on one leg contest. Upon hearing that, Kelly B. shrugs her shoulders and removes her artificial leg and stands perfectly still on her remaining leg. Everyone else struggles and either falls down, or has their other foot hit the ground, causing their elimination...

Kelly B. wins Immunity.

Well, not quite the result I would have liked, but I wasn't planning on having Na'Onka go this round anyway, so here are the results:

The women all go ziplining and have a great time. They then have a barbecue, which is ruined to some degree by Na'Onka trying to steal food from Kelly B. Kelly B. makes a comment about her being willing to be feisty when things are going her way but wanting to quit when the chips are down. Na'Onka gets defensive, of course.

Back at camp, Marty and Tyrone try desperately to get Fabio and Sash on board with a plan to get rid of Brenda or Na'Onka. Fabio is willing to get rid of Na'Onka but notes in his confessional to us that Brenda has the Hidden Immunity Idol, which means she's got the power. Sash is less accomodating when he does his confessional, saying that he's sticking with his alliance.

We jump forward to Day 24, with everybody back together again and treemail having freshly arrived. It says that the next challenge is a test of strength – strong memory, that is. Marty is happy with this, but Tyrone is worried about his chances in this challenge.

Probst welcomes the tribe to the challenge, where they each stand behind a short podium labeled with their name. He describes the challenge, which is only for one immunity necklace this time: He will show a series of symbols and they will use a cube with those symbols on it to repeat the series back to him. If they’re right, they move on to the next round. Last person standing wins immunity.

First round: Ship, musket, anchor, ship’s wheel, musket, ship. He asks for the first symbol, which everybody gets right. All get the second symbol as well. But the third symbol knocks out Jimmy J. and Tyrone. The fourth one knocks out Alina. The fifth one knocks out Holly, Purple Kelly and Sash. Brenda, Fabio, Kelly B., Marty and Na'Onka move on to the next round.

Second round: musket, ship, coins, anchor, dagger, musket, ship’s wheel. They all get the first symbol right. Fabio blows the second one. Marty blows the third one. Kelly B. accidentally puts the wrong fourth symbol up and she's out. It's down to Brenda and Na'Onka -- and one puts up the wrong fifth symbol:

Probst: Na'Onka wins Immunity! (Na'Onka cheers as she gets the Immunity necklace. Marty and Tyrone groan.) Na'Onka, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. The rest of you, however, are in danger and one of you will be the second member of the jury. You have until all afternoon to decide who that person will be. Head back and I'll see you at Tribal.

Na'Onka leads the way, jubiliant.

****************************************************************

Okay, Na'Onka has won Immunity. Now I want you to decide who will be the second member of the jury. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow. The person with the most votes will be the second member of the jury -- unless that person is either Brenda or Jimmy J., in which case the person with the second most votes will be out. And btw, I want Kelly B. to outlast Na'Onka.

We have a majority, and here are the results:

Libertad returns to camp and they immediately split into the original two factions: Espada and La Flor. Marty and Tyrone were none too pleased to be unable to vote against Na'Onka but Jimmy J. suggested they vote out Purple Kelly since she really didn't do much of anything. They all agreed.

The original La Flor members had a shorter discussion of whom to boot: they all agreed to get rid of Tyrone since he'd won one Immunity Challenge already and they didn't want him to win another! Brenda tells us in confessional that things are going according to plan.

However, Marty and Tyrone don't give up without a fight. They approach Fabio, Sash and Kelly B. and try to get them on board with a Purple Kelly boot. Sash laughs at the idea of getting rid of Purple Kelly when Marty suggests it to him. Kelly B. is non-commital when Tyrone suggests the idea to her. Only Fabio is truly receptive, but he knows he doesn't have the power to change the vote and in any case, he's afraid that Tyrone might go on an Immunity run as well.

At Tribal Council, Jeff asks how things were for the guys after the Reward Challenge. Sash says that he wasn't happy to not get a barbeque but he was accepting of it. Tyrone, by contrast, was very unhappy, as he was a big guy who wanted a good meal! That was when Brenda said that Tyrone could get a good meal when he got on the jury, thus revealing that he was the next target.

Tyrone wasn't surprised to find himself the target -- he was a challenge threat. When asked if he had tried to change his fate, he admitted that he and Marty tried but he didn't think the effort was too successful, at least not where Kelly B. was concerned. Marty added that Sash laughed at his effort. They then revealed that they were trying to get rid of Purple Kelly. Sash then said that he wouldn't have laughed if they suggested someone more threatening, like Fabio -- Purple Kelly was as nonthreatening as you could get.

Talk then turned to the Immunity Challenge. Tyrone wasn't happy to be out in the first round. Kelly B. was glad that she had managed to get into the second round but hoped she wasn't going to be a big target as a result of her performances at the last two Immunity Challenges.

Then it was time to vote. Tyrone voted for Purple Kelly, saying that they had to vote for someone. We then saw Sash vote for Tyrone, saying that Tyrone was a threat to go on an Immunity Challenge run.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Purple Kelly and Tyrone looking on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda and Jimmy J. don't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Coucnil area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Purple Kelly. Second vote ... Tyrone. That's one vote Purple Kelly, one vote Tyrone. Third vote ... Purple Kelly. Two votes Purple Kelly. Fourth vote ... Tyrone. We're tied; two votes Purple Kelly, two votes Tyrone. Fifth vote ... Purple Kelly. Three votes Purple Kelly. Sixth vote ... Tyrone. That's three votes Purple Kelly, three votes Tyrone. Seventh vote ... Purple Kelly. That's four votes Purple Kelly. Eighth vote ... Tyrone. We're tied again; four votes Purple Kelly, four votes Tyrone. Ninth vote ... Tyrone. Five votes Tyrone, four votes Purple Kelly. Tenth vote ... the tenth person voted out and the second member of the jury ... Tyrone. That's six, that's enough. Will you bring me your torch?

Tyrone gets up and resignedly hands over his torch to Probst.

Probst: Tyrone, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Tyrone's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Tyrone exits as Marty looks dejected.) Well, Tyrone clearly tried to change his fate, but it doesn't seem to have worked. The original Espada members have a lot of work to do in order to survive. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

Libertad heads out. We soon see Tyrone's final words. He says that he's glad to have made the jury and he hopes Espada can rally from this bad position.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Tyrone is gone -- and I would've had him out at this point anyway. Next up is Reward -- and it's a team event. I want you to decide who will be on what team and which team will win the Reward. I'll take votes until tomorrow night, at the latest. The people with the most votes on a particular team will be on that team and the team with the most votes will win Reward.

Okay, we have a tie with three people, so I'll have to break the tie. I'm doing so and posting the results:

Libertad returns from Tribal Council and Brenda tells us that first Jimmy T. and now Tyrone are gone. However, Marty is still around, and she's worried about his ability to scramble.

Indeed, Marty is very worried. He realizes that with Jimmy T. and Tyrone gone, he's next on the chopping block. If he wants Espada to mount a comeback, they have to convince La Flor to get rid of one person before him. The obvious target is Na'Onka, of course.

So he and Holly start trying to sell a Na'Onka boot on Kelly B., Sash, and Fabio. Fabio's all for it and Kelly B. looks like she's giving it some thought, but Sash just walks off. In confessional, Kelly B. says that although Marty has some good points, the fact that his neck is on the chopping block is also a good reason not to go ahead with the plan yet.

The next day, it's drizzling and Purple Kelly is wishing she was in a nice, warm, dry lodge. We find out that Purple Kelly has been considering quitting for some time, but people have always talked her out of it. Na'Onka is not a happy camper either, and Marty starts going off on her. Naturally, she becomes defensive and shouts him down.

The rain has stopped and it's time for the Reward Challenge! They arrive and host Jeff Probst tells them they will be divided into two teams of five. They will use four barrels, two planks, and ten feet of rope to make their way across the beach to the finish platform without touching the ground. If anybody from the team touches the ground, the whole group has to go back to the start. The winning team will travel to the Cerro Negro, one of the most active volcanoes in the world. There they will do some “volcano boarding” and of course have a meal of pizza, soft drinks and chocolate bars.

Brenda, Fabio, Jimmy J., Kelly B. and Marty are on the Blue team while Alina, Holly, Na'Onka, Purple Kelly and Sash are on the Yellow one. The Blue team decides to roll the barrels but leave one behind since they don't think they'll need it anyway. Yellow is following suit -- but Purple Kelly starts losing her balance! Then she falls down -- taking Na'Onka down with her in the process! Marty laughs when he hears this. As a result, one team crosses the finish line first:

Probst: Blue wins Reward! (Brenda, Fabio, Jimmy J., Kelly B. and Marty all cheer while Alina, Holly, Na'Onka and Sash all glare at Purple Kelly, who looks upset.) Blue team, there's a helicopter that's arriving to pick you up. It'll take you to the volcano. Yellow team, I have nothing for you. You have to return to camp.

As Brenda, Fabio, Jimmy J., Kelly B. and Marty all head off to a great Reward the other five head back downcast. Marty tells us in confessional that seeing Na'Onka lose Reward was the best thing that could ever happen to him.

****************************************************************

Okay, I decided to have Fabio be on the winning team and Na'Onka and Sash be on the losing one. Now it's time for the Immunity Challenge. I want you to decide which person will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow morning. The person with the most votes wins Immunity and is safe for the next round.

Marty, there almost always seems to be a time each season where an underdog wins an Immunity that they really 'have' to...

Well, another slight surprise but here are the results:

The Blue team flies over the volcano and all ooh and aah over the sight. Marty is delighted to be on the Reward -- and even more delighted that Na'Onka isn't on it! They all get into protective orange suits and sit on their volcano boards, which are basically snowboards that have little seats and a place to put up your feet, with a rope to hold onto. They head down the slope, with all of them making it except for Fabio, who wipes out in a manner that suggests it was deliberate. Jimmy J. wonders what is going on at camp and Marty asks, "Who cares?"

Unfortunately, he should -- since they put four crates (out of six) too close to the fire as part of a fire-protection system and sure enough, all four crates caught on fire and burned up! Luckily, the machetes and the food weren't in the crates that were burned up, but the tarp was partially melted. Alina thinks that it could be saved, however.

Unsurprisingly, Na'Onka is yelling and complaining, blaming everyone else except herself! Alina tells us in confessional that if she wasn't part of the La Flor alliance she would be seriously tempted to throw Na'Onka off a cliff. Holly says that what's done is done, so they should just move on. Purple Kelly wishes she was back home.

Meanwhile, Marty continues pushing for Na'Onka to go home, this time trying to get Brenda in on the plan. Brenda and Kelly B. are noncommittal while Fabio tells us in confessional that he would love to get rid of Na'Onka but he doesn't have the support he needs. Brenda tells us outright that Marty needs to go right now, as he's more of a threat than Na'Onka. After all, nobody would ever vote for Na'Onka!

They return to camp after their meal and Jimmy J. is shocked to see the damage. He's relieved that the food and the machetes are all right, however. Kelly B. says that they all should've been a little smarter with their fire-protection system.

The next day, Marty continues pressing to get rid of Na'Onka -- especially after he hears how Na'Onka behaved when they saw the damage. Unfortunately for him, Fabio is the only one who really is interested -- all the others he approaches are noncommittal or outright uninterested. He knows he needs Immunity in order to save himself.

And speaking of which, it's Immunity Challenge time! Probst explains the challenge. The players will stand on a very small platform which appears to be slanted a bit. They will lean back over the water and hold onto a rope; every five minutes, they will move their hands further down the rope, making it more difficult. Last person standing wins immunity.

Purple Kelly is the first to go, followed quickly by Sash. Holly goes next, followed by Jimmy J. Brenda is the next to go, followed by Fabio. Kelly B. then goes and we hear her say in confessional that she thought she could last longer but she didn't want to be seen as a challenge threat. Alina follows Kelly B. and it's down to Marty and Na'Onka. Both of them are struggling, but after they recover, one of them tries to pull themselves into a better position. Unfortunately, that person accidentally put his hand above the knot and was disqualified, so that person gets off:

Probst: Na'Onka wins Immunity! (Na'Onka cheers as Marty pounds the water in sheer frustration. Once they're all out of the water, Na'Onka gets the Immunity necklace back.) Na'Onka, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. The rest of you, however, are not safe and one of you will become the third member of the jury. You have until all afternoon to decide who that person will be. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal Council tonight.

Na'Onka leads the way, triumphant; the others follow, with Marty downcast but still defiant.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Na'Onka has won Immunity -- although I wouldn't have voted her out at that point anyway. Now it's time to decide who will be the third member of the jury. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the person with the most votes will be voted out.

If I have to break a tie, I'd cast my vote for Marty. He's too much of a strategic threat and he's on the Espada alliance.

Well, I don't have to break a tie, since there's a unanimous vote. So here are the results:

When Libertad returns to camp, Marty is in a state of near-despair. He knows he's a huge target and is convinced he's going home -- especially since Na'Onka won Immunity.

However, sending Marty out of the game is not what Brenda has in mind. She realizes that Fabio is closer to Espada than to the other La Flor members, so she calls a meeting of original La Flor members (except Fabio, of course) and proposes that Fabio walk the plank. Na'Onka is delighted and naturally agrees. Sash goes with it as well. Alina and Kelly B. were kind of hoping that they could use Fabio to get rid of Na'Onka but they can go along with the plan, since they can still use Marty to get rid of Na'Onka.

Sash tells Marty that the plan has been changed -- Fabio is going. A delighted Marty tells Holly and Jimmy J. and says that they can use this change of plans to change up the whole game. Holly points out that they'd still be four players down when compared to La Flor, but Marty doesn't care.

Brenda tells Fabio that the plan is to get rid of Marty tonight. Fabio tells us in confessional that since he can't get rid of Na'Onka, he might as well get rid of Marty.

At Tribal Council, Probst asks how things were at camp for those who didn't go on Reward. The burned-up crates were mentioned and Na'Onka is very unahppy about this. Kelly B. says that they should've come up with a smarter plan for protection against fire.

As for those who went on Reward, they all loved it. Fabio especially loved the "volcano boarding". Brenda loved the setting and Marty was thrilled just to win a Reward.

Then the Immunity Challenge came up. Na'Onka was thrilled that she won it, while Marty regrets the accident that got himself disqualified. But he's not going out without a fight. Still, he acknowledges that he's dependent on La Flor changing their minds and keeping him around.

With that, it's time to vote. Marty casts a vote for Fabio, saying that he hopes La Flor really changed their mind and decided to spare him. Fabio returns the favor, saying that Marty was just too strong of a threat.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Fabio and Marty looking on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time do do so. (Brenda and Jimmy J. don't move.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Fabio. Second vote ... Marty. One vote Fabio, one vote Marty. Third vote ... Fabio. Two votes Fabio. Fourth vote ... Fabio. That's three votes Fabio, one vote Marty. (Now Fabio looks a little worried.) Fifth vote ... Fabio. Four votes Fabio. (Fabio looks shocked. Clearly he's getting the picture.) Sixth vote ... the eleventh person voted out and the third member of our jury ... Fabio. That's five, that's enough. You need to bring me your torch.

A shell-shocked Fabio gets up, grabs his torch and heads over to Probst.

Probst: Fabio, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Fabio's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Fabio walks out, still shell-shocked.) Well, unlike some recent victims, we had a blindside where the victim had no idea it was coming. Was it a smart move? Time will tell. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

Libertad heads off. We then see Fabio's final words. He's shocked that he's out of the game. He can't believe that La Flor voted him out before Marty! We then see that Fabio was the only person who voted for Marty -- the others all voted out Fabio instead.

****************************************************************

Okay, Fabio's out a little sooner than I would've wanted but I would've had him go to the jury anyway. Now it's time for two separate votes. First up, I want you to vote for who will sit out Reward, who will be on which team (of two), which team will win Reward, and which team the one who's sitting out will back.

Second, this is when two people decide to quit. I want you to decide which two will quit. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow morning. The people with the most votes in the first half will sit out, will back a certain team, will be on a certain team, and will win Reward. The people with the most votes in the second part will quit, though I won't post the actuall quitting part until after I post the Reward results. So start voting!

I'm going to cast a vote for the second question. I'm voting for Na'Onka and Purple Kelly to quit. This would be the best time to get rid of Na'Onka, after all.

P.S. I really want Kelly B. to stick around!

Kelly B sits out and backs the team of

Kelly S, NaOnka, Sash and Holly.

Marty, Brenda, Jimmy J and Alina who win.

Poor Jimmy J fights hard and is limping badly after the competition. Medical is called.

NaOnka senses that Purple K, who's been carping about how rough it is without her curling iron, is thinking about bailing out (moron). NaOnka pulls her aside and says she's finished as well. Kelly and NaOnka tell the Jeffster they want to go to the Ponderosa but Jeff gives them the day to think.

At TC Jeff asks Kelly if she's staying. Kelly whines some more and Jeff snuffs her out.

Jeff goes to NaOnka and asks if she's gone as well. NaOnka laughes and tells him her plan was to help Kelly out the door by making her think she wouldn't be the only quitter. psych.

Poor Jimmy J has broken some bones in his foot and medivacced.

Let it snow. Holy Carp we're getting hosed big time. When I was coming into work it was doing this pellet size snow that stung. It's snowmageddon.

Okay, we have a majority (at least with the quits) and here are the results:

Libertad heads back to Tribal Council and Marty is happy as a clam. He feels like he's been saved from the jaws of death. He celebrates by taunting Na'Onka, saying that he's coming after her next. This gets them into a huge argument that Brenda and Jimmy J. have to calm down.

The next morning, it's pouring rain. Purple Kelly has had enough. She wants out -- and not even Jimmy J.'s efforts to encourage her to stay can convince her. She's done and that's that. Na'Onka tells us when she’s cold and wet, her joints stick and hurt because she’s anemic. Kelly B. says that even if the conditions are harder than they look on TV, but you just need to suck it up and keep going.

After the rain, Alina and Kelly B. talk. They are aware that Purple Kelly is quitting and aren't too upset about that. Then Marty comes up and tells them that Na'Onka is thinking about quitting! Kelly B. tells us in confessional that she hopes this is the case, as she wants Na'Onka gone!

However, Brenda and Sash are really trying to get Purple Kelly and Na'Onka to stay in the game! Na'Onka tells them that she'll wait till after the Reward Challenge before she decides for sure. Purple Kelly is ready to quit.

Reward Challenge time! Probst asks if everyone's ready for the Reward Challenge. They all say they are. Each team will have an eight-foot stuffed dummy named Gulliver. Gulliver is tied to a table, so they have to untie him and carry him over a series of obstacles. If you drop him all the way, you have to go back to the previous obstacle. The Reward is a trip to Survivor cinema, where they will see Gulliver’s Travels, starring Jack Black. They will also enjoy nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, candy – movie food. The theme of the movie is that it doesn’t matter how big you are on the outside, but only how big you are on the inside. He even talks about how their ability to draw from within is what will carry them to the end of the game. Na'Onka tells us even though she’s thinking of quitting, she’s going to go 100% and not let her team down.

Jimmy J. sits this one out and backs Alina, Brenda, Kelly B. and Marty, who are on the Blue team. Holly, Na'Onka, Purple Kelly and Sash are on the Yellow team. And they’re off! They start untying Gulliver, but Yellow is already having communication problems while Blue is moving pretty quickly. Yellow starts picking up the pace and both teams are close. Blue picks up Gulliver first, with Yellow right behind.

Both teams head through the mud to the ladder wall. Probst says they are “neck and neck,” which is literally true since the Gullivers are going up head first and thus their necks are at the same place. But Yellow pulls ahead and gets to the rope obstacle. That doesn’t last long as Blue just plows into and through the first ropes, taking the lead back. Yellow doesn’t take it sitting down, pulling into a tie as Probst enjoys the spectacle of “everybody still fighting – nobody giving up!”

Both teams leave the ropes in a dead heat. They get to a tunnel filled with ropes criss-crossing it. Blue pulls out a lead as Yellow gets stuck, thanks in part to Purple Kelly. Although Kelly B. trips, she recovers and Blue drags Gulliver across the finish line:

Probst: Blue team wins Reward!

The Yellow team looks disgruntled, especially Na'Onka and Sash, but for different reasons. Sash wants to be on just one team that wins Reward! We now find out in a confessional that as soon as Na'Onka lost, she decided to quit.

After Probst tells the Blue team what they won, Purple Kelly tells Probst that she's had enough and she's going to quit. When a surprised Probst asks if someone else wants to quit, Na'Onka volunteers.

Probst says NaOnka doesn’t seem like a quitter – there are only 11 days left. She says she’s not normally a quitter and this would be the first time she’s done so, but she has to listen to her body and she’s content with the decision. He says Purple Kelly is the youngest person there and has done an amazing job – she’s going to just walk away? Purple Kelly says it’s crazy but she can’t believe she’s lasted this long after the first night. She’s had integrity the whole time, “so I’m good.”

Probst says he’s not good! He points out that NaOnka has survived many attempts to vote her out. And Purple Kelly just admitted she wanted to quit on Day 1 – but she didn’t. So he’s going to give them the afternoon to think about it. Then they’ll meet at Tribal Council. If they still want to walk away from a shot at a million dollars, fine, the others will probably love it.

Both of the ladies agree. Probst says they are “this close” to being able to say, “I did it!” But they’re also “this close” to being one of the quitters! In the meantime, it’s reward time. But there is a question Probst poses. They are living on only rice because of the fire and loss of their provisions. So if any of the Blue team wants to forego the reward, they can take back a new tarp and more rice for the whole camp. Probst tries to encourage it by saying it’s a “hero” or “heroine” move.

Jimmy J. decides to forgo the Reward and remain at camp. He says that he can have as much food as he wants when the game's over for him. Probst approves and sends the Yellow team plus Jimmy J. back to camp while the Blue team heads happily off to their Reward.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I decided to have Jimmy J. sit out and to have Alina be on the winning team (the other ones were obvious winners or losers.) At this point, I'd just like a couple of comments before I continue.

You really want me to comment?

Ok: Do you know the difference between a game and a fanfic? You never wanted this to be a game, just your attempt at a fanfic but it isn't even that since you're glued to the actual story. I kept Na'Onka only to make it as far away from a fanfic as possible. I see you found a sneaky way to get rid of her. So be it.

Yes, I do know the difference between a game and a fanfic, Michel. However, you may have a point in my getting too glued to the actual story -- or at least too determined in my effort to get rid of Na'Onka. Now she's gone, and hopefully I can treat it as a game.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"
Posted by Belle Book on 01-12-11 at 10:25 PM
Well, I got a comment all right, so I'll continue:

When the non-movie goers arrive back at camp, they decide to get the tarp up immediately because there's a storm coming. Holly and Purple Kelly thank Jimmy J. a lot. Holly and Kelly go to get firewood and Holly advises Kelly that she needs to “suck it up and… play the game.” If she quits, that’s how she’ll be remembered. Kelly says she just freezes in the rain, but Holly says they have a tarp again. Kelly brings up the lack of food and Holly notes they have more rice.

Kelly continues that she doesn’t know how much longer she can put up with the whole situation. Holly brings up the tarp and food again, saying Kelly needs to be tough inside – there will be a lot worse things than this in life. Kelly tells us she’s been sucking it up for 28 days and she doesn’t have anything left. Holly tells a story about how her daughters wanted to quit something and ended up being champions when Holly refused to let them. Kelly promises she’ll seriously think about it while Holly reminds us that she wanted to quit back on Day 5 and Jimmy Johnson convinced her not to do so.

Back at the Reward, Brenda is happy to be on the Reward but also really upset at the prospect of Na'Onka and Purple Kelly both quitting. She reveals that she planned to take them to the Final 3, since nobody would vote for either one. However, Alina, Kelly B. and Marty are delighted at the prospect of Na'Onka leaving. Marty thinks this means Espada might mount a comeback. Alina and Kelly B. meanwhile approach Brenda with a deal -- if they get rid of the remaining three Espada, they can go to the Final 4 along with Sash.

The movie starts and we see a few scenes from it as well as shots of the Survivors laughing and enjoying themselves. Alina is loving the hot dogs and drinks but she regrets that Sash hasn't won a Reward yet.

Back at camp, the others are enjoying a decidedly less-sumptuous meal and once again thanking Jimmy J. Jimmy J. says that Holly would have done the same thing if she'd been in his shoes and Holly agrees. Na'Onka sulkily says she wouldn't have done so.

Sash tries to convince Na'Onka to stay in the competition, but Na'Onka is tired and just sick of the whole thing. Jimmy J. tries to encourage her and Purple Kelly. Kelly tells us anything can happen tonight. The tarp and rice cannot get her through the next 11 days. She still has a lot of thinking to do before they get to Tribal Council.

It's raining again, and those who are still at camp head to Tribal Council, where they meet those who were on the Reward. Probst brings in the jury and reveals to them that Na'Onka and Purple Kelly want to quit. Jimmy T. and Tyrone look genuinely shocked while Fabio looks half shocked, half unsurprised. He might be more shocked that Purple Kelly wants out than Na'Onka.

Probst continues to explain the situation that led to them being there. Then he asks Holly why she decided to stay in the game after wanting to quit. She discusses the whole Jimmy Johnson thing and adds that if you’re going to make it this far, why not try to go all the way? Alina adds that it's no walk in the park. She knew she’d have the drive to get over every hurdle. She’s hanging in there and wishes they would too. You need the drive, the heart, and the willingness to go the extra mile.

When did NaOnka decide to quit? She says when it’s raining like it is now and gets windy, her joints hurt. This earns a look from Jimmy J. She says this morning it was really bad and now she’s “literally freezing.” NaOnka continues that she’s made it 28 days and proud to be the only African-American still there. She’s a strong black woman who comes from a background of strong black women. Tyrone shakes his head at this.

What about Purple Kelly? She says this morning it seemed like there was no end to the bad weather. She intellectually knows they can physically take it but she feels like she’s breaking down. Brenda shakes her head, so Probst asks her what she thinks about this. Brenda says that "Winners never quit and quitters never win." She's here to win and she's not going to quit, no matter how hard it is. The age difference between her and Purple Kelly isn't the real issue; the difference in willpwoer is!

Probst then turns to the Reward. Marty loved it and loved it even more that Na'Onka wasn't on it! Now it’s time for the hard-hitting question. Probst asks NaOnka, “Realistically, do you think you had any shot to win this game?” NaOnka says yes as Marty and Brenda laugh. Probst continues: “Based on what?” She says it was based on her drive “once upon a time.”

Probst takes on a sarcastic tone as he says, “This is amazing,” and asks her to “regale me with a story.” NaOnka says it was her drive, attitude, spunk, and charm. Probst wants to be clear: “You think you had a shot at winning this game?!” She replies that she knows she had a shot to win! Sash joins in on the laughter coming from Brenda and Marty.

Probst then asks if Na'Onka would've given up the reward if she had been on the winning team. She says she wouldn't have. When asked if she would've done so even if she planned to quit, she says, in her selfish way, that she would have –- she was going to go out with a bang! Probst asks the obvious question: Does she see that as selfish? NaOnka doesn’t care what anybody thinks, of course.

Kelly B. says that she would've given up the reward if she had planned to quit. NaOnka says everybody is entitled to their own opinion and probably believes she made a mistake, but she’s content.

What does Marty think a young person can’t see because they don’t have enough experience? Marty says young kids will find out “life is not a piece of cake unless they’ve got an easy ride from their parents. You don’t have a clue what’s around the corner. Life is full of rocky roads.” He adds that if you don’t have some sort of drive and determination, you won’t get far. There are people out there who are a lot worse off than them and they aren’t playing Survivor!

Now it's time to decide if both women are going to quit. When asked, Na'Onka says that she's quitting. Purple Kelly also says that she'll quit. Brenda says, "I can't believe it!" Probst points out that everybody else moved up two notches without having to vote anybody out!

He asks NaOnka what they should do with her torch. She seems flummoxed by the question and wonders what happened to the rest of the jury’s torches – “they got smuffed.” This earns huge laughs from Marty as she continues to think that’s the right word, thus proving why she wasn't an English teacher.

Probst is less concerned about making fun of her for the word and more concerned about pointing out, “They didn’t quit.” He continues putting the screws to them, noting, “You guys are quitters,” and asks Kelly what should be done with their torches. She thinks it should be “snuffed too.” She looks around kind of self-consciously as she says it, to make sure she’s using the correct word. Probst says fine, he’ll snuff them, but he’s keeping the torches there, at Tribal Council, to remind them of their decision every time they come back as part of the jury.

As Na'Onka grabs her torch, Fabio says, "That's disgusting," and Tyrone says, "I hate that," since he still wants to play. Jimmy T. just looks mad.

Probst: Na'Onka, you have spoken. (He snuffs out her torch.) Do you want to go?

Na'Onka: Yes.

Probst: Then go! (She walks off as Purple Kelly heads up with her torch.) Purple Kelly, you have spoken as well. (He snuffs out her torch.) Get out as well. (Purple Kelly walks off.) There is a clear theme, and that theme is desire. You still have the willpower that comes from within. Na'Onka and Purple Kelly do not. There are no more excuses -- you must play the game. Grab your torches. Good night.

As Libertad leaves, the three jury members look upset at the fact that Na'Onka and Purple Kelly just quit. In Purple Kelly's final words, she admits that she feels sorry for Jimmy T., Fabio and Tyrone. It’s hard to look at them and know they could have possibly made it farther. “I feel bad.” NaOnka, on the other hand, doesn’t feel like she owes any apology to anybody in her final words! She has no regrets whatsoever and made it far. This was a hell of an accomplishment for her.

****************************************************************

Okay, Na'Onka and Purple Kelly have quit. Now it's time for the Reward Challenge. I want you to decide who will win Reward -- it's an individual one this time -- and who that person will take with hir. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the people with the most votes will win Reward or accompany the winner.

At lunch time I backed into my driveway and my skills in the truck are none so good. Got off the track and buried the right side in the snow. Dug out. Tried again and slid off the other side of the driveway (sigh)((well, didn't sigh it was more like %#&@.)) Dug out again. Tried again slid sideways again. Now I'm sideways half in the yard half in the driveway. (more #^$*^%%&@@@ing) Dug it out and finally got it up to the garage. Called my boss, told her I wasn't coming back to work in the afternoon. Put on sweats and watched movies.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"

Well, there was a majority for the people who were going to be brought along, but there was a tie for the winner, so I'm going to break it when I get to the results:

We begin on Night 28, right after the Tribal Council that didn’t actually involve any voting. Holly is complaining that they all had to go to Tribal Council and get soaked by the rain while the quitters are off getting dry and comfortable. She goes on to tell us how “unbelievable” it is that NaOnka and Kelly would quit at this point. The guys are discussing the chickens and decide to name the female that they hadn't eaten yet Kelly-Nay because the quitters were both chicken.

Brenda is upset that Na'Onka and Purple Kelly are gone. After all, she would've won easily against both of them. Now, she's stuck with Sash, who might take away votes from her; Alina, who might do the same thing, and Kelly B., who definitely would steal votes from her. However, if she went with Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty she'd probably lose to them as well.

The next day, Alina and Kelly B. approached Sash with the idea that he and Brenda could take them to the Final 4. Sash, who also intended to take Na'Onka and Purple Kelly to the Final 3, wasn't thrilled about taking Alina and Kelly B. to the Final 4 but he didn't see any real options. So he agreed, as did Brenda that they'd get to the Final 4 together.

It's Reward time again! The final seven arrive on Day 30 and host Jeff Probst tells them they will “get a second chance to revisit some” of the past challenges. On go they’ll race through a mudpit and dig through a pile of hay to retrieve a ball. They have to bounce the ball off a shield lying on the ground and into a barrel. First four people to get the ball in move on.

In the second round, they will use a stick to retrieve a key off a coil overhead. The key unlocks a chest that contains four sandbags. They need to land those sandbags on top of a barrel. First two move to the final round. In that round, they will use a paddle to dig up three rope rings. They need to throw the rings onto hooks on a target. First to do so wins reward, which is a trip to a private resort. There they will get a meal, a shower, and sleep overnight.

And they're off! Alina is the first to find a ball, followed by Brenda, Sash, Marty and Holly. They all bounce the ball off the shields as Kelly B. finds her ball. Alina is the first one to have her ball get into the barrel. Sash quickly follows her. Kelly B. gets back but Holly gets her ball in the barrel. Then:

Probst: Alina, Brenda, Holly and Sash move on to the next round!

Kelly B. simply shrugs, as she didn't want to be seen as a real challenge threat at that point. Marty is more frustrated than her. Alina, Brenda, Holly and Sash try to retrieve the keys. Alina is the first one to get a key, but Sash follows her. As they unlock their chests, Holly gets her key and Brenda does so as well. But Alina and Sash are the two that land their sandbags on top of a barrel first and so move on to the next round, much to Holly's dismay.

Alina and Sash quickly dig up their rings and both quickly get two hits. But one misses just before the other one hits:

Probst: Sash wins Reward! (Sash cheers as Probst continues.) Sash, as the winner of this Reward you have the opportunity to invite two others to come with you on Reward.

Sash chooses Alina and Brenda. Probst sends them off to Reward and the others back to camp.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I chose to have Sash win Reward. Now it's time to choose who will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tomorrow at the latest. The person with the most votes will win Immunity.

We had a tie for the Immunity win, so I'm breaking it. Here are the results:

Back at camp, Marty is feeling better about his chances of getting to the finals, since he can get one person to jump ship instead of having to try to get three. However, he still knows that the odds are somewhat against him. Since Kelly B. wasn't brought on Reward, he thinks he can try to convince her to jump ship.

And so Marty tries getting Kelly B. to jump ship by telling her that Brenda and Sash are more likely to take Alina to the Final 3 instead of Kelly B. herself. Kelly B., however, points out that Jimmy J. is still a member of the older tribe and she thinks she'll still finish in fourth if she jumps ship. Marty tells her that he plans to get rid of Jimmy J. before they reach the Final 3. Kelly tells us in confessional that Marty may make some sense, but she's mistrustful of Marty because he's a known schemer.

On Reward, Alina and Brenda thank Sash for bringing them along as they share a toast. Brenda decides to take a shower before hitting the food and drink but Alina and Sash dive right in. Then they hit the showers as Brenda returns to eat and drink.

As they get massages, Brenda says that with a 4-3 majority instead of a 6-3 one they need to keep Kelly B. on their side. That means they have to get rid of Marty first. Alina and Sash agree and Alina promises that she'll talk to Kelly B. once they get back to camp.

Back at camp, Holly suggests to Marty that they need to get rid of Brenda or Sash -- and that they need to get Kelly on board with the plan if they are to have any chance of succeeding. Marty agrees -- but decides to target Brenda, unaware that she has the Hidden Immunity Idol. So when he suggests to Kelly that she help target Brenda, Kelly is non-committal. She tells us that she might have been on board with a plan to get rid of Sash, but going against Brenda would be suicidal.

The people at camp execute Kelly-Nay and cook her for dinner. Luckily, they have one chicken left -- and it's a hen, not a rooster. As they're out getting water, the people on Reward return and notice that Kelly-Nay had been made into a chicken dinner. When the people who were out getting water return, they ask about the Reward. Alina and Brenda try to downplay it, but Sash goes on and on, annoying the others.

Kelly tells Alina and Brenda about the plan to target Brenda. She reassures Brenda that she's still on her and Sash's side. Brenda is relieved by this. Kelly later tells Alina in private that they have to get rid of Marty -- he's just too much of a threat. They can get rid of Brenda later and Sash is annoying enough to take to the Final 3.

Marty later comes up to Kelly and continues trying to sell the idea of a Brenda boot, but he's disappointed when Kelly remains non-committal. He's beginning to think that either Kelly's too loyal or that Brenda might have a Hidden Immunity Idol, since that might well convince Kelly not to take a risk. He now thinks he has to win Immunity or else he's done.

And now it's time for Immunity! It’s Day 32 and they arrive to be greeted by Probst, who tells them all about it: They will be attached by a rope to a hitching rail. They will have to go over and around the rail, releasing rope as they go. When they think they have enough, they have to run out to grab a bag of gold coins (if they don’t have enough rope yet, they’ll end up like a dog on a too-short leash). The first three get their bags move on to the final round, where they need to solve a gold coin puzzle.

And they're off! Around and around –- and over and under –- they go, throwing themselves around. Alina is the first to think she has enough rope -- and she does! Marty is the next one to have enough rope, so he also moves on. It's a race between Kelly B., Brenda and Sash -- and Sash had enough rope, so he moves on as well.

And they’re off again! They have three stacks of gold coins to begin with and then have ten other stacks to put around those three to create a rectangular shape made of gold coins. Probst notes, “Some people really excel at puzzles like this. Others, like me, do not.” Sash isn't really trying, which Jimmy J. notes, thus causing Jimmy to heckle Sash. Kelly cheers on Alina while Holly and Jimmy cheer on Marty. However, one of them finishes first and turns out to be right:

Probst: Alina wins Immunity! (Marty groans as Alina cheers. Jeff gives Alina the Immunity necklace.) Alina, you have Immunity and are safe from the vote. The rest of you have Tribal Council, where somebody will be voted out. You have until all afternoon to decide. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal.

Alina leads the way back to camp, while Marty is the last one of Libertad.

****************************************************************

Okay, I chose to have Alina win Immunity. Now it's time for you to decide who will be voted out. You have until tonight or tomorrow morning to decide. I'll take votes until then and the person with the most votes will become the sixth member of the jury -- unless it's Brenda or Jimmy J. who get the most votes, in which case the person with the second most votes will be voted out.

Well, I was really hoping an original member of Espada could go instead, but since too many people want my personal favorite gone I'll just post the results:

When Libertad arrived back at camp, Marty tried to get Kelly to join forces with him, Holly and Jimmy J. -- unfortunately for them, Sash overheard them and became concerned that Kelly was going to jump ship. So he rushed to tell Brenda.

Brenda decided that she could trust Sash and Alina -- but Kelly B. was now too much of a wildcard. They'd have to get rid of her instead -- and not tell Alina until just before the vote. Brenda also planned to convince one of the original Espada members not to vote for her so she wouldn't have to use the Hidden Immunity Idol until the Final 6.

Clueless about all this, Kelly B. spoke to Alina and told her that she was still considering voting out one of the original members of Espada but they were putting a lot of pressure on her to jump ship. Alina informed Kelly B. that she should keep the course and not let the Espada members get to her.

Meanwhile, Brenda talked to Jimmy J. and promised to take him to the Final 4 if he would help her get rid of Kelly B. Jimmy J. said that Marty was trying to convince him to get rid of Brenda but he liked Brenda, so he didn't really want to go along with the whole plan.

At Tribal Council, Probst noted that Espada was now down 4 to 3. He wondered how they felt about it. Marty said that he was still hoping he could pull off a comeback. He said that he'd been trying to get Kelly B. to join Espada. Kelly B. denied that she was going to jump ship, though Probst noted that she would say that whether she planned to jump ship or not.

Brenda agreed and said that now she needed to know where people stood. At that point, Kelly B. looked startled. She insisted that she was trustworthy. Brenda said that might be the case but also noted that Kelly B. could try to get to the finals with weaker players and win because she was disabled.

Alina insisted that Kelly B. could be trusted but Marty wasn't helping her ally stick around any. Sash said that he trusted Brenda and he trusted Alina. He also knew where Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty stood. He didn't know where Kelly B. stood.

With that, they all voted. Kelly B. voted for Holly, saying that she was going to remain true. Marty voted for Brenda, saying that he had to get rid of her. Brenda voted for Kelly B., saying that she was too much of a threat.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Brenda, Holly and Kelly B. looking on.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Jimmy J. does not move. Although Brenda hesitates for an instant, she decides to remain put.) Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. First vote ... Brenda. Second vote .. Holly. One vote Brenda, one vote Holly. Third vote ... Kelly. That's one vote Brenda, one vote Holly, one vote Kelly B. Fourth vote ... Brenda. Fifth vote ... Kelly B. We're tied; two votes Brenda, two votes Kelly B., one vote Holly, one vote left. (Kelly B. looks unhappy as Probst looks at the final vote.) The fourteenth person voted out and the sixth member of the jury ... Kelly B. Will you bring me your torch?

Kelly B. sighs, gets up and grabs her torch.

Probst: Kelly B., the tribe has spoken. (Kelly's torch is snuffed.) It's time for you to go. (Kelly B. walks off, very unhappy.) Well, you decided to spare an original member of Espada and get rid of an original La Flor member. Was that the right strategy? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp.

Libertad heads back. In her final words, Kelly wonders what she did to give the others on La Flor the impression that she could not be trusted. She would've remained true to them. We see that Marty and Holly voted for Brenda, Kelly B. voted for Holly but the others voted for Kelly B.

*****************************************************************

I guess you figured out Kelly B. was my favorite and that's why you decided to vote her out. Anyway, the next challenge is for Reward -- and it's the Family Members one. I want you to decide who will come for the remaining six contestants, who will win Reward -- and who will go with the winner.

Jimmy Johnson wins reward and Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, Micheal Strahan and Curt Menefee come visit to tell us who will win this weekend. Marty and Brenda are huge football fans so they tag along.

Okay. Sorry, I was just hoping that Kelly B. could get to the finals, and when you guys decided she was too much of a threat to your favorites and voted her out, I simply got frustrated. And incidentally, I did consider having Brenda use the Hidden Immunity Idol but since there were more votes for Kelly B., I decided against it. Anyway, here are the results:

Libertad returned from Tribal Council and we hear Alina regret voting out Kelly B., but she didn't know the plan until just before they had to go to Tribal Council and she couldn't muster any votes to save her, so she just went along with it. Besides, Kelly was too much of a threat to get much farther.

Marty was relieved that he was spared, and he hopes that he can form an alliance with Brenda and Sash to make it to the finals -- even if he has to do so at the expense of Holly and Jimmy J.

The following day, the tribe receives treemail with a cell phone. It’s a reward challenge and the phone has videos from family members. Many tears ensue. Jimmy J. is especially moved to see his family.

Libertad heads to Reward, where Probst brings out their loved ones. First up is Sash's mom, who runs up to hug Sash. Next up is Brenda's father, who is delighted to see his daughter. Then we have Marty's wife, who is thrilled to see him as well. Then we see Holly's husband, Charlie, whom Holly happily hugs. Next up is Alina's father, whom Alina rushes and hugs. And last but not least is Jimmy's wife, whom he hugs happily.

All of the loved ones join the contestants on the mat. Probst says they are going to have to work to spend a bit more time together –- the loved ones will participate in the challenge. The contestants will run up a plank and jump into the water to retrieve a bag of letter tiles that’s attached to a floating ball. They race it back and hand it off to their loved one and then get a second bag. Once they get both, the loved ones have to unscramble the letters to solve the phrase, “Family Comes First.” First one to get it right wins the reward discussed earlier, which involves setting sail down the coast, enjoying a nice meal of sandwiches, cookies, champagne, chips, etc.

And they're off! Brenda, Alina and Sash are the first ones to run up the plank, jump into the water, retrieve the first bag and hand it over to their loved ones. Marty is next, with Holly fifth. Jimmy J. is the last one to hand over his bag, but by that time Brenda has found the second bag. She hands it over to her father just after Jimmy J. hands over his first one! Following her are Alina, Sash, Marty, Holly and Jimmy J.

It's hard to see who's leading at first but soon we have a winning team:

Probst: Brenda and her father win Reward! (Brenda cheers and hugs her father.) Brenda, you can take two contestants and their loved ones along.

Brenda decides to take Jimmy J. and Marty along. As they head off with their loved ones Alina, Holly and Sash get to hug their loved ones good-bye before returning to camp.

*****************************************************************

Okay, there was a four-way tie for first place, but Marty got the majority of votes for one of the people going on Reward, with Brenda and Jimmy J. tying for the other two votes. Since the original Reward Challenge was pretty physical I decided to break the tie in favor of Brenda.

Now it's time to decide who will win Immunity. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the person with the most votes will win Immunity.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"

Okay, we have a majority of votes, so here are the results:

On the way back, Holly admits that she was homesick for her husband and she's happy she got to see him again. Alina is also happy to see her father again and Sash is happy to see him mom as well. None of them are too upset that Brenda took Jimmy J. on the Reward, but Alina is worried about Brenda's taking Marty as she fears Marty's strategic abilities.

Those on the reward are having an even better time, as you might expect. They are brought out to their boat and find all sorts of food there. Jimmy J. and Marty thank Brenda repeatedly as they stuff their faces. They open a scroll that might be a Hidden Immunity Idol clue, but we all know that Brenda and Jimmy J. have the HIIs.

Marty tries to get Brenda in on a Final 4 plan of himself, Jimmy J. and Holly. Brenda then tells him that he can't allow Jimmy J. to get in front of the jury, as he will win it all. So she suggests he join her alliance with Sash and Alina. Marty says that he'll think about it.

After lots of fun and partying, night begins to fall and the loved ones have to leave. Brenda is confident that Alina and Sash won't turn on her since she has the HII. And if she has any idea they'll turn on her, she'll just use it.

When the three who went on Reward return to camp, Alina asks how it was. Brenda and Jimmy J. attempt to downplay how good it was but Marty doesn't. He goes on and on about it, and Brenda looks disgusted. She may be wondering if she should keep him around.

Holly says that Jimmy J. has a Hidden Immunity Idol. She knows she doesn't have the second one, but she doesn't know if Marty does. Worse, she fears Marty might try to save himself at her and Jimmy J.'s expense. Jimmy J. can save himself with the HII but she needs Immunity.

And with that, we head into the immunity challenge! Probst welcomes them and explains what they’ll have to do: They will be blindfolded and make their way over and under a series of hitching rails (guided by a rope) to a station where they’ll find a shield with symbols on it. Using only their sense of touch, they need to memorize the symbols. They will then take a bag of matching symbols back to the start and, while still blindfolded, they will create a matching shield. Probst notes that some of the symbols in the bag may feel right but won’t match. First person to get the shield right wins immunity.

And they're off! Brenda takes the lead, with Alina right behind her. Holly, Sash and Marty are next with Jimmy J. in dead last, as usual. They are all feeling their puzzles and then start to head back. Alina gets lost along the way and Brenda makes it back first, followed by Holly and Sash. Marty takes a long time studying the symbols, so Jimmy J. makes it back before Marty.

Brenda, Holly and Sash are all in a tie for the lead. But Sash starts to fall behind a bit. Brenda finishes but one of her pieces is wrong. As she's trying to get the right piece in, Holly calls for Probst to check.

Probst: Holly wins Immunity! (Holly cheers delightedly while Sash looks disgruntled. Holly gets the Immunity necklace from Probst.) Holly has Immunity and is safe from the vote. But the rest of you are in danger and one of you will be the seventh member of the jury. You have until tonight to decide who that person is. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal Council.

Holly leads the way while the others follow.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Holly has won Immunity. Now it's time for you to decide who will be the seventh member of the jury. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the person with the most votes will be voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?.

Okay, it's an overwhelming majority, so here are the results:

Libertad heads back, but right after they come back, there is a huge argument. Marty accuses Sash of promising to help him out financially in return for taking Marty to the finals, only Sash is considering voting out Marty instead. Sash protests that Marty misunderstood him, but it looks like nobody believes Sash. Even Brenda looks unsure.

Brenda talks to Alina. She notes that if they take Marty to the finals, he might win. However, Brenda is afraid that if she takes Sash instead, he might win because he might be seen as the mastermind, not Brenda herself. Alina pushes for Sash to be removed. Meanwhile Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty all agree to get rid of Sash.

Sash isn't a dummy, and realizes he's going to have to force a tie with Marty, so he tries to get Brenda and Alina to go against Marty. He also reveals to Marty that Brenda has the Hidden Immunity Idol in an attempt to convince Marty to go after Brenda instead of Sash himself. But Marty figures that Sash is trying to get rid of him, so he doesn't fall for it.

At Tribal Council, the apparent deal is brought up, much to Probst's apparent shock. Sash insists that he didn't make such a deal and that Marty had misunderstood him. Marty insists that Sash made such a deal and that he's going back on it. Alina, Holly and Jimmy J. all believe Marty. Brenda says that it's possible Marty misheard Sash, but she thinks Sash is a real big threat to win if he gets to the finals.

With that, it's time to vote. Sash votes for Marty, insisting that Marty misunderstood and that in any case, Marty's too much of a threat. Marty returns the favor, saying that Sash is too slimy. Brenda says that she's got to choose the bigger of two threats to her.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Marty and Sash look on as Probst goes.) If anybody has the Hidden Immunity Idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so. (Brenda and Jimmy J. hand over their idols.) The rules state that if you have a Hidden Immunity Idol, any votes that are cast against you will not count. These are both Hidden Immunity Idols. Any votes cast against Brenda or Jimmy J. will not count. First vote ... Marty. Second vote ... Sash. One vote Marty, one vote Sash. Third vote ... Sash. Two votes Sash. Fourth vote ... Sash. That's three votes Sash, one vote Marty. (Sash now looks resigned.) Fifth vote ... the fifteenth person voted out and the seventh member of the jury ... Sash. That's four, that's enough. Will you bring me your torch?

Sash gets up, grabs his torch and heads over to Probst.

Probst: Sash, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs out Sash's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Sash leaves without a word.) Well, we're down to the Final 5. Alina, Brenda, Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty. After two more Immunity Challenges, three of you will face the jury. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

As Libertad heads out, we hear Sash's final words. He denies that he tried to make a deal with Marty. We then see that even Brenda voted against Sash -- Sash was the only vote against Marty.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Sash is the seventh member of the jury (and for the first time since I did this game, nobody who was in the Final 3 in the show is in the F3 in this game). I'd like you to now decide who will be the winner of the penultimate Immunity Challenge. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow. The person with the most votes will win Immunity.

Previously on Survivor Nicaragua: What If? 20 people were dropped off in Nicaragua. Early on teams had to compete for the Medallion of Power before being sorted into two tribes: Older and Younger. Early on, the younger people on La Flor won two Immunity Challenges, and Dan and Yve were the first two boots. However, Espada recovered to win the next two Immunity Challenges, sending La Flor to Tribal Council. Shannon's all-male alliance was destroyed by Chase's attraction to Brenda, resulting in Shannon and Benry walking the plank. Then the tribes were switched up. Although Alina, Fabio and Na'Onka were in the minority on Espada, Espada tended to focus on the weak links amongst their own, resulting in the departures of Wendy and Jane; while La Flor sent out Jill before Brenda's decision to save herself meant Chase was sacrificed.

At the merge, Jimmy T. was sent packing, followed by Tyrone. Then La Flor became nervous about Fabio and sent him packing -- before Purple Kelly and Na'Onka decided to quit. After that, Kelly B. was viewed as a threat by too many people while Marty ensured that nobody trusted Sash. Now we're left with Alina, who has flown under the radar to some degree; Brenda, who has directed the flow of her alliance; Holly, who is not much of a threat; Jimmy J., who might be a jury threat now; and Marty, who is a strategic threat. Who will make the jury -- and who will be the Sole Survivor?

Jimmy J. makes a note to have Day 37. Alina notes that she and Brenda have to ensure that they don't get Pagonged. When she tells Brenda this, they realize that they might have a chance -- Jimmy J. is a threat to win it all if they let him anywhere near the jury. On the other hand, he's no physical threat. They might need to get rid of Holly or Marty first.

And indeed, Marty is looking askance at Jimmy J. He doesn't want Jimmy J. to get to the finals. If he does -- he'll win. He's going to try to lead a charge against Jimmy J. and get him voted out if Jimmy J. doesn't win Immunity -- which is unlikely.

Speaking of which, it’s already time for the next immunity challenge. It’ll be a rainy one. The Survivors read questions, grab bags corresponding to the right answers, and assemble the puzzle pieces inside the bags. The first question involves geography. Surprisingly, everyone gets the right answer, so that’s pretty good. Alina, Brenda and Holly get their questions right, but Holly drops a piece. Jimmy J. and Marty miss their questions. Holly manages to retrieve her puzzle piece and is behind Alina and Brenda, with Marty fourth and Jimmy J. last.

Alina and Brenda are neck and neck as they work on the puzzle, with Holly in third, Marty in fourth, and Jimmy J. last thanks to the running he had to do. Alina and Brenda increase their lead and finally one of them finishes first:

Probst: Alina wins Immunity! (Alina cheers and hugs Brenda. Probst gives her the necklace.) Alina, you have Immunity and will make the Final 4. But for one of the rest of you, the journey ends tonight at Tribal Council. You have all afternoon to decide who will be the eighth member of the jury. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal.

Alina leads the way, followed by Brenda and then by Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Alina won Immunity. Now it's time to decide who will be the eighth member of the jury. I'll take votes until tomorrow. The person with the most votes will be the sixteenth person voted out of Survivor Nicaragua: What If?.

I would rather have sent Marty home, but I guess too many people wanted him around. Here are the results:

As they came back, Libertad began plotting. Marty decided that he wanted Jimmy J. out of the way and approached Brenda with a plan to get rid of him. Brenda was willing to consider it, but she wondered if Marty himself or Holly might be a better target, since she didn't think Jimmy J. would win the final Immunity Challenge.

Unbeknownst to her, Alina and Holly were planning to shake up the plan. They realized that they weren't viewed as strategic players -- and that Brenda and Marty were. What was more, Brenda could easily win the final Immunity Challenge. Thus the two decided it might be better to get rid of Brenda and leave Marty for the final Immunity Challenge -- assuming he didn't win it, of course.

They approached Jimmy J. and asked him to help them get rid of Brenda. Jimmy J. was happy to go along with the plan -- at least it wasn't him. Unaware of this turn of events, Brenda approached Alina and tried to enlist her help to get rid of Holly, as she thought Holly would be a bigger threat in the final Immunity Challenge than Marty. Alina pretended to agree.

At Tribal Council that night, Probst asked Alina how it felt to win Immunity. She said that she was happy, but she hoped she'd get the final Immunity win. Marty said that he thought Jimmy J. should not be allowed to face the jury, as the jury might give him the win since he was so popular. Holly said that Brenda and Marty were strategic threats, so neither one should be allowed to be facing the jury. Brenda looked like she was beginning to sense trouble for herself.

They then voted. Brenda voted for Holly, saying that Holly was more of a threat than Marty or Jimmy J. Marty voted for Jimmy J., saying that he didn't want the guy to win another million dollars. Holly voted for Brenda, saying that Brenda was more of an Immunity Challenge threat than Marty.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (We see Brenda, Holly and Jimmy J. look on.) Once the votes have been read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes. First vote ... Brenda. Second vote ... Holly. One vote Brenda, one vote Holly. Third vote ... Jimmy J. We're tied. One vote Brenda, one vote Holly, one vote Jimmy J. Fourth vote ... Brenda. That's two votes Brenda, one vote Holly, one vote Jimmy J, one vote left. (As he pauses, Brenda knows.) The sixteenth person voted out and the eighth member of the jury ... Brenda. Will you bring me your torch?

Brenda gets up, grabs her torch and heads over to Probst.

Probst: Brenda, the tribe has spoken. (He snuffs Brenda's torch.) It's time for you to go. (Brenda walks out.) Well, you decided to get rid of a strategic threat. Was that the right decision? We'll find out. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

As Libertad leaves, we hear Brenda's final words. She wondered if she should've gotten rid of Alina and not Sash. We see that Alina and Jimmy J. joined Holly in voting out Brenda.

*****************************************************************

Okay, I'd rather have had Brenda make the finals if Kelly B. couldn't, but I guess too many people wanted her out, so she's the eighth member of the jury. Now you have to decide who will be the final winner of Immunity. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow. The person with the most votes will be the final Immunity winner.

Okay, we have a majority and here are the results:

After Tribal Council, Jimmy J. is relieved that he wasn't sent home. However, he wonders who voted against him. Alina and Holly all swear that they didn't do so, so Jimmy J. decides that either Brenda or Marty voted against him.

Alina is determined to win Immunity, as the only member of La Flor left. Holly doesn't want Marty to win, as he's the one she least likes or trusts.

The next day, the Final 4 have to do the ritual walk. When they spot Dan's torch, Marty notes that he wanted Dan as an ally. Holly regretted voting out Yve. Alina wasn't too upset to vote out Shannon but she got along okay with Benry.

Holly regrets that Wendy gave up. Marty notes that he didn't like Jane but he was sorry to see Jill go. Alina says that Chase was too close to Brenda.

Jimmy J. was pretty happy to see Jimmy T. go but bemoaned the loss of Tyrone. Alina liked Fabio. All agree that Na'Onka was insane and that Purple Kelly was too weak.

Alina was sad to see Kelly B. go, as they were really close. Marty was glad that he got rid of Sash. And Holly was happy to send a good strategist packing when she spoke of Brenda. They then burned all the torches.

And then it’s time for the final immunity challenge. As usual, it’s a balancing/stacking challenge: they’ll stack coins on the hilt of a sword without letting them fall.

These things always start out boring, since the first steps are easy, and even the editors know it, skipping us ahead to when the players have tilting stacks of about 15 coins. The coins are all uneven, so it’s not like stacking up a bunch of dimes. Nothing happens until Jimmy J.'s stack shifts just enough for his top coin to slip off. He’s out. As she places the next coin, Alina knocks over her stack, and she’s also out.

We’re left with Holly and Marty Holly’s stack looks a lot less stable than Marty’s, but both are very still. As Holly and Marty put their next coins on their stacks, one's stack tilts and falls over:

Probst: Marty wins Immunity! (Marty cheers as the others look unhappy. Marty receives the Immunity necklace.) Marty, you are one of the Final 3. Tonight at Tribal Council, two more will join you while one will be the last member of the jury. You have all afternoon to decide who. Head back to camp and I'll see you at Tribal

Marty jubilantly leads the way back to camp.

*****************************************************************

Okay, Marty has the final Immunity. Now you must decide who will be the final member of the jury. I'll take votes until tonight or tomorrow and the person with the most votes will be the last person voted out. Personally, I hope it's not Alina -- I'd like to see one member of La Flor in the Final 3 and I liked Alina.

Well, the votes are in and we have a majority, so here are the results:

Libertad returns and Marty reveals that he's really happy to have won Immunity -- he figured he was going if he lost it, especially if he lost to Alina. But at least he can try to convince the others to get rid of Jimmy J.

However, Holly has other plans. She realizes that Jimmy J. has done next to nothing, while she helped get rid of Brenda -- and what's more, Marty might be the perfect F3 goat. Alina, on the other hand, would probably get all the votes from La Flor if she went to the Final 3. Therefore, she had to get rid of Alina.

Alina wasn't a dummy, however, and she began scrambling. Both she and Holly began trying to convince Jimmy J. and Marty to get rid of each other. Jimmy J. says that he's unsure who should go home, and Marty doesn't really care since he's safe.

At Tribal Council, Probst asks Marty how he feels about winning Immunity. Marty says that he's delighted to be safe. He's sure he would've been gone if he hadn't won it. Both Alina and Holly say that they might well have gotten rid of him, but they also note that he might have been the perfect goat to take to the F3.

When asked who are the ones who think they're in danger, both Alina and Holly raise their hands. Holly thinks that Alina won't target Jimmy J. because he really hasn't done much, while Alina says that she's the only person from La Flor in the F4.

At that point, it's time to vote. Alina votes for Holly, saying that she's really sorry. Holly returns the favor, saying that she's just too much of a threat but she still likes Alina.

Probst: I'll go get the votes. (Alina and Holly look on.) Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out must leave the Tribal Council area immediately. First vote ... Alina. Second vote ... Holly. One vote Alina, one vote Holly. Third vote ... Alina. Two votes Alina, one vote Holly, one vote left. (He looks at it.) The final person voted out and the final member of our jury ... Alina. Will you bring me your torch?

Alina shrugs, gets up and grabs her torch.

Probst: Alina, the tribe has spoke. (Alina watches as her torch is snuffed.) It's time for you to go. (Alina walks off sadly.) Well, we have our Final 3: Holly, Jimmy J. and Marty. The power now shifts from you to the jury -- nine people whom you had a hand, either directly or indirectly, in voting out. You'd better think of some good statements and answers to their questions. Head back to camp. Good night.

As the Final 3 leave, Alina says that she's not too surprised that she was voted out -- nobody could allow her at the finals. We see that Jimmy J. and Marty joined Holly in voting Alina out.

*****************************************************************

Okay, you decided to vote out Alina. Now I want you to decide what questions the jury will ask -- and what responses the Final 3 will give -- if the question is something they can answer.

"Marty's Opening Statement:"
Posted by michel on 01-21-11 at 00:06 AM
Make it either opening statement or answer to a question. (I don't remember who is on the jury but I think Tyrone was so he asks Marty why should the jury vote for him)

Marty says he should get the votes because he was a target in this game as much as in Nicaragua. He adds: "I don’t know how much your feelings for the real me will play in this game but if it does, you have to admit that I was the only one that played the game throughout. Jimmy Johnson actually asked us to be voted out in episode #3 (true fact) and Holly was on the brink of quitting. I don’t see how those two should receive votes if you are thinking who the best survivor was. Yes, Holly started to play after the merge but that only happened because things fell in her lap. If Na’Onka hadn’t been so quick to get rid of Brenda there would have been very little Holly could have done."

"I was arrogant and I made a couple of big mistakes but I tried to get myself in the best position possible. Seeing what happened to Brenda and Sash, we have to consider that it could have been better if they went along with my idea instead of giving in to the weaker members of their alliance."

In this game which should be all that matters, I tried to change things up and create a true "What If?" When the quitters still quit, I saw that the best option to have something new instead of a copy of what we saw on TV was to carry the old Espada tribe to the end. I voted along some players to get their favorites to the end and, in return, I received some backers when I wanted to stay safe."

Tyrone asks the same to Jimmy Johnson and Holly.

The Coach says he won 2 Super Bowls and 2 Collegiate national Championships.
Holly said she made her kids proud even if she started out as one of the craziest players ever.

Jiffy looks at Sash and says "You're up."

Sash looks at the final three and says, "This is for all three of you. "Who did you want sitting beside you at F3, when did you know and why?"

Holly: "Well, I am so happy that Jimmy is sitting here with me, he kept my spirits up when I was so down and ready to leave. I think we bonded well and I guess it was then that I hoped he'd be around for awhile although I didn't start thinking about F3 until after NaOnka and Purple quit. I really needed a friend then. As for Marty he's a smart guy but I never wanted to go up against him here."

Jimmy J: "Holly, well she was someone that needed a little coaching and I'm happy to help, we've become friends. Marty, I have been working with him the entire game. I told Marty long ago that if he'd bring me along it would be to his advantage.

Marty: "I knew I wanted these two with me by the after the first challenge. When Holly was falling apart I knew she wouldn't last long without a lot of support but I didn't want to appear too close so I suggested to Jimmy that if Holly quit so early we'd never recover the numbers. He came through for me there. Jimmy had told everyone that he was the man to take to F3 because he already was rich and nobody would vote for that and that and the HII protected him for a long time. I only had to make sure that the other threats went before me. I've been playing hard since day one."

Sash: "Thanks guys and good luck."

Fabio asked: Dudes, what will you do with the cash?

Jimmy Johnson: I'll spend it all on my hair. This game really messed up my perfect coiffe and I need to look good on TV. I hope there'll be enough left for a manicure.

Holly: I'll have to buy Dan a new pair of shoes. I owe my whole tribe a sea food dinner after throwing the snails out in the ocean. My girls will need psychiatric help to get over the embarrassment I caused them and I may need a session or two myself.

Marty: I know where you're going with this dude but I'm not allowed to pay your bail money to get you out of jail. Maybe Rupert will be at the reunion and he works with troubled teens. But watch out for RussHell; he will treat you like a dumb blonde.

"RE: Survivor Nicaragua: What If?"
Posted by Belle Book on 01-25-11 at 08:55 PM
Okay, I'll use the questions that were provided and add some that weren't:

The Final 3 are delighted that they got the chance to speak to the jury. The next morning, Marty is the first one to wake up, followed by Holly and Jimmy J. Breakfast comes and they dig in.

Holly and Marty work on their opening speeches and try to figure out how to respond to jury questions while Jimmy J. just looks out at the ocean. They gather up the stuff and burn the camp before heading to Tribal Council.

Probst brings in the jury: Jimmy T., Tyrone, Fabio, Na'Onka, Purple Kelly, Kelly B., Sash, Brenda and Alina. He then urges the Final 3 to each make an opening statement.

Holly is up first. She begins by saying that at one point she was pretty down, but Jimmy J. helped her get through that low point. Once she got past that point, she tried to stay on the right side of the votes, and she did her own little scheming -- she reveals that she was the force behind the decision to get rid of Brenda. She also notes that she tried to be a mother figure when she needed to be. She hopes that her motherly skills and her scheming help convince the jury to give her the title of Sole Survivor.

Jimmy J. is up next and says that he knew everybody was afraid that he might win the million dollars because people on the jury might be star-struck. This was one reason why he looked hard for the Hidden Immunity Idol, and once he got it he used it in such a way that hopefully nobody would be tempted to go after him. It worked and it helped get him here.

Marty is the last one up, and he reveals all the scheming he had done. Some of it was successful -- like when he got Sash voted out -- but much of it wasn't -- such as trying to get rid of Jimmy J. and trying to keep Dan. But he kept trying and he thinks it got him here. So he wants them to decide who is the best schemer and vote for that person.

Tyrone is up first. He asks why the jury should vote for any one of them. Jimmy J. says that he won 2 Super Bowls and 2 collegiate National Championships and he knows how to lead a winning team. He thinks they should vote for him because he led Espada to the finals. Holly says that she was the mother of the group but she was also a schemer in her own right, such as when she got rid of Brenda. Marty simply tells them to vote for the best schemer, which he was.

Sash is next. He faces the Final 3 and says, "This is for all three of you. 'Who did you want sitting beside you at F3, when did you know and why?'" Jimmy J. says that he wanted Holly and Tyrone beside him. With Tyrone, he knew it as soon as he saw how hard Tyrone worked and how willing he was to keep the team strong. With Holly, he knew it as soon as Holly recovered from her bout of depression stronger than ever.

Holly says that she wanted Jimmy J. from the moment that he helped her get over her depression and her desire only became stronger when she saw him trying to help others. As for the other person, at first she wanted Tyrone but when she saw how abrasive Marty could be, she wanted him just in case she made the Final 3, since she felt he might be too abrasive.

Marty said that he wanted Dan at the very beginning because Dan was weak and willing to do what it took to survive the vote. As for the other person, he wanted Holly once he saw her go crazy, even if she recovered from it. Later, however, he wanted both Na'Onka and Purple Kelly around since nobody would give Na'Onka any votes and he doubted Purple Kelly would get any either.

Jimmy T asks Marty why he didn't like Jimmy T. Marty flatters him and tells him that he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He just pretended not to like Jimmy T.

Then Jimmy T. asked Jimmy J. why he didn't put Jimmy T. in more challenges. Jimmy J. says that he wanted to, but Jimmy T. more often than not messed things up for the team. He wants Jimmy T. to listen more.

Then he asks Holly why he wasn't there and she was. Holly reminds him that she didn't vote him out -- the people from La Flor did. She thinks they voted out Jimmy T. because he was too much of a threat to them.

Na'Onka is up next. She says, "Hi everyone. I'm not insane. Tell me why I didn't really quit. Make me believe it or else." Jimmy J. is too nice to point out that she didn't quit, but Holly and Marty both tell her that she quit. Even Marty doesn't flatter Na'Onka, who sits down angrily.

Unlike Na'Onka, Purple Kelly admits that she quit and that she feels guilty about it. She asks what advice they'd give her in the future. Marty tells her to marry Fabio. Jimmy J. tells her never to give up, no matter how tempted she is. Holly tells her never to start something if she has any ideas she might not be able or willing to finish it.

Fabio is next. He asks, "Dudes, what will you do with the cash?" Holly says that she'll use it to help her family out and invest the rest. Jimmy J. says that he'll give it to charity. Marty says that he'll do a lot of travelling with his family.

Kelly B. is up next. She asks them who they think should not be on the jury and who should be in the Final 3. All three say Na'Onka and Purple Kelly should not be on the jury because they quit. As for who should be in the Final 3, Holly and Marty both say Brenda even though Holly tried to get rid of her, while Jimmy J. says Kelly B. because she was an inspiration. Na'Onka looks disgusted.

Alina is up next. She asks each one what they think the most important skill is: challenge skill, social skill or strategic skill. Marty says strategic skills, Jimmy J. says social skills and Holly says it's a tie between strategic and social skills because you need both in order to win.

Finally, Brenda is up. She asks each one why the other two don't deserve the million dollars. Jimmy J. can't tell them why Holly doesn't deserve the million but he says that Marty was too underhanded. Holly says that Jimmy J. wasn't strategic enough while Marty was too abrasive. Marty says that Jimmy J. was carried along while Holly wasn't strategic enough.

*****************************************************************

Okay, now it's time to decide the winner. I want you to decide how the jury votes, and who the winner is. I'll take votes until tomorrow and the person in the Final 3 with the most votes will be declared the Sole Survivor.

- Brenda said: "I love a strong man like Marty who doesn't mind having his hair messed up.

- Alina: "I want to give this money to a man, not a relic and not a crazy woman so I vote for Marty."

- Na'Onka: "I quit because I knew I could never be as good as Marty."

- Kelly B: "I know Marty's the one that wanted to vote me out but I understand it was just a game. He played a stronger game than I did."

- Purple Kelly: "Marty's the only one that milked the milk."

- Sash: "I tried to outscheme Marty but he completely had me. I'm not a football fan so I don't give a damn about Jimmy. As for Holly, she stole personal property and I hate people who break rules in Survivor."

- Tyrone: "If I hadn't been so worried about Holly stealing my shoes maybe I would have seen people turning against me. Marty tried to warn me but I wouldn't listen. He deserves my vote."

- Fabio: "I vote for Marty. Anyone that can beat Guillermo Villas just has to be a great player."

- Jimmy T votes Marty saying he's the only one that could make it in his world.

It's a clean sweep: Marty = 9 votes. Holly and Jimmy = 0

Jeff declares that Marty is the Sole Survivor, the only one to get votes which means he's one of the best players ever. Jeff adds: "Marty's so good that he forced us to change our plans: Survivor 22 will have Marty facing off against Boston Rob instead of Hantz."

Well, we have a majority vote and here are the results:

Probst has everyone vote. We see Tyrone vote for Marty, saying that Marty had the best answer. Na'Onka voted for Jimmy J. since he didn't say she quit, while Purple Kelly voted for Holly, saying that Holly gave her the best advice.

Probst: For the last time, I'll go get the votes.

Once he does, he tells them all that they'll have to wait till they get back to the States, then leaves. When we next see him, they're all back at the States, and the results are live.

Probst: You all know why you're here. Nine votes. You want to see your names tonight. For the last time, I'll read the votes. First vote ... Holly. (It's Purple Kelly's vote.) Second vote ... Jimmy J. (It's Na'Onka's vote.) One vote Holly, one vote Jimmy J. Third vote ... Marty. (It's Tyrone's vote.) We're tied. One vote Holly, one vote Jimmy J., one vote Marty. Fourth vote ... Holly. (It's Sash's vote.) Two votes Holly. Fifth vote ... Marty. (It's Jimmy T.'s vote.) We're tied again. Two votes Holly, two votes Marty, one vote Jimmy J. Sixth vote ... Holly. (It's Fabio's vote.) Three votes Holly. Seventh vote ... Marty. (It's Brenda's vote.) We're tied again. Three votes Holly, three votes Marty, one vote Jimmy J. Eighth vote ... Marty. (It's Alina's vote.) That's four votes Marty, three votes Holly and one vote Jimmy J. Jimmy J. is out of the running. If this last vote is for Holly, we have a tie. (He looks at the card.) The winner of Survivor Nicaragua ... Marty.

Marty is delighted and hugs Holly and Jimmy J.

*****************************************************************

I'd rather have had Holly win, but I guess too many people thought Marty was the better choice. Anyway, Marty won.
