"So what's the twist for the next evicted couple?"

The current proposed theory (from Vince3) is that one person from the freshly-eliminated pair will immediately U-turn and head back into the house. The couples will then be dissolves (because it's until death or twist do you part), and we go to a conventional single-player game and jury of seven judging a final two.

The giant argument for this is that the show is wrapping up too quickly. Under couples play, next week would put us at Mega-Veto status, and the week after that is Final HoH. While the ratings are continuing to pretty much tank, CBS may still not want the season off the air this quickly -- not with so little programming to show. (Let's face it: Pirate Master started airing six months too early.)

There's a case to be made against this. One of the factors there is the ongoing sequester of the already-eliminated -- which seems to point more towards a couple getting back in -- and another is that BB might just want to stick with their twist and have a theme play out for once --

-- yeah, right...

So what happens next Wednesday? Other than losing another million viewers.

From the start, I thought they'd said it would be a normal season. For the season to run the normal length, you'd have to see half of the people evicted come back in the game.

If the housemates get any say in who gets back in, I'd expect to see Alex and Parker again. And then two more. We will have lost eight people by Wednesday, so they need to put four back in.

It's either one of them go back in or they are involved in sending one of the sequestered bunch back in....... But the U-Turn for the most recently evicted couple would be the ultimate FU from BB to the remaining hamsters.......

Maybe some kind of partner switch up? The contestants can choose from evicted houseguests as new partners...just a thought...

Why let the hamsters bring back someone they want to be in the house?

Much better to have some competition so you can get someone that will cause major drama and hatred if they get back in. Even if they will just be voted right back out again.

...Or will it be up to AMERICA to decide which couple comes back to the house or which couples should swap partners with an evicted house guest(s)?! Ohh, the possibilites are endless...

Here's how I see it happening, in a week by week format, fitting the "normal" 12 week schedule.

Week 01: F16 to F14 (Evicted: Jacob/Neil)
Week 02: F14 to F12 (Evicted: Jen/Parker)
Week 03: F12 to F10 (Evicted: Alex/Amanda)

Week 04: F10 to F8 (Evicted: ?/?) ...
Death to the couples twist.
ChenBot announces the beginning of the individual stage... then 1 currently sequestered HG is chosen to rejoin the game. Via HG vote, America's Choice or BigBrother random lottery.
(Boom-harangue Options: Jacob, Jen, Parker, Alex, Amanda and 2 of Allison ~ Ryan ~ Chelsia ~ James ~ Sheila ~ Adam.)
Finishing out the remainder of the series with a "normal" eviction schedule of 1 HG a week.
Week 05: F9 to F8 (Evicted: ?)
Week 06: F8 to F7 (Evicted: ?)
Week 07: F7 to F6 (Evicted: ?)

Week 08: F6 to F5 (Evicted: ?)
Week 09: F5 to F4 (Evicted: ?)
Week 10: F4 to F3 (Evicted: ?)
Week 11: F3 to F2 (Evicted: ?)

Week 12: Final 2 / Jury Voting

Ending in the beginning of May will still give BB almost 2 months to restart for BB10. Which despite the current season's ratings is supposedly still on the slate for a July premeire.

Edited and then edited again because I originally edited without needing to.

I was wondering if the twist would be something like what happened in BB3 when the houseguests voted for which of the evicted hgs to allow back in the house, and Amy was voted back in.

Perhaps a couple will be brought back in this way? Especially since it seems all the evicted hgs have been sequestered. And otherwise it will be a very short season. Although as Estee pointed out, maybe that's not necessarily a bad thing for CBS.

Sure, they didn't get out of the house before the twist was activated, but I came pretty close.........
