"Big Brother #9 Episode #5 East Coast Spoiler Thread"

Posted by Estee on 02-20-08 at 04:24 PM
Please keep all sigpic-free discussion of tonight's live eviction (which will see Jen and Ryan broken up for at least five minutes) on this thread until 11:00 p.m. EDT, at which time the West Coast will get to hear Parker's declaration of why the show won't control his post-departure actions. 'You can't sequester me and you can't stick me in a jury house! It's not right, forcing a man to submit to a complete lack of privacy, following him everywhere, knowing his image can be recorded and used out of context against him at any time! What sort of horrible human beings would do something like that?'

There's a certain subtle irony here that Parker isn't in a position to see.

Will another stupid twist reunite the dating couple after a torturous wait of six whole minutes? When do the isolation booths come out for their inevitable HoH bow? Can the editors force themselves to show certain live feed events involving Joshuah demanding that a Bashers thread be created for him and maintained in perpetuity? And will anyone even notice, given that we're still going up against AI? You too can fail to find out tonight, live, on Big Brother 9: We May Already Be Canceled!

Kind of makes you wonder what Simon would think of all this musical whining. ('Parker, you're a little pitchy... and I can substitute in a 'b' any time I like...')

I think to complete the irony shot, CBS should call 20 or so of Parker's fellow papparazzi bretheren to cover his walk of shame out of the house to the Chenbot interview...........

The least they can do is play the TMZ dat-da-Dum when he is voted out.

Tonight, the part of BB's Neilsen rating will be played by an imaginary number.

"Setup?"

The suicide of Amanda's father is mentioned in the recap. This may or may not be leading up to Joshuah's actions on the live feeds.

If the answer is 'not', it'll be a very long season.

And the answer is not 'not'.

I'm still in awe.

And there we are.

Congratulations, Joshuah. I now hate you more than Maggie. I wasn't sure it was possible, but there it is. Nice work. Yes, there was a setup over the net, but you're the one who spiked it -- and you took out a heart. Congratulations. May the rest of the world ensure you never forget it.

All kudos to Allison, who went to comfort Amanda despite Amanda tearfully warning her that it might hurt Allison's chances.

Now would someone please fire the casting department?

But, but who will hire all the pretty pretty people that America loves to look at?

Oh, it gets worse. Check the Live Feeds thread for the week after the episode wraps -- he had some follow-ups.

Right now, he's threatening to jump into the All-Time Reality Scum list on the basis of five episodes. Someone tell Voldy the race is on.

Wow. Ryan just grew a pair.

How did Crazy-Eyed Adam become one of the more stable people in the house, anyways?

How much acting talent does Sheila have to get that entire speech out without running for the bathroom at any point?

Oh, right. She's got half the house convinced she's in a long-term relationship with Allison. Nevermind.

And then said that she doesn't think anyone else in the house is in a relationship. DUMB.

Jen: 'Ryan, I regret nothing. I don't regret calling you a racist, trying to rally votes against you, revealing that you may actually be a racist, destroying your life outside the game, and making you break up with me, even though we're going to pretend we're still together now because America didn't see any of that. Kisses!'

Ryan: 'Ditto, baby. Ditto. By the way, I'm sleeping with Allison. And I mean that in a non-soulmate way.'

Julie: 'Amanda, have you forgiven people for the remarks about your father?'

Amanda: 'People say things in the heat of the game, and there's been some apologies.'

Julie: 'Which means?'

Amanda: 'I am going to hurt them every chance I get, forever.'

So long, Jen and Parker. Pick up your Chenbot action figures on the way to sequesterville until we can find a way to get Parker back into the game.

Jen, go ahead and unpack.

Everyone else, go ahead and upchuck.

Jen & Parker, 3-1.

Hey, a 3-1 vote! The season's almost over!

Fun bits: watching Parker's facial gymnastics during the very brief interview -- that'll be the closest he gets to any celebrity without getting slugged -- and listening to Allison tell Jen she didn't know how to weigh risk vs. reward. This from the compulsive gambler.

Very brief interview: one question each, centered around the revelation of the relationship. 'It is what it is', says Parker. It is under the wheels of the bus, right next to Sarah.

No mention from Julie of their going to sequester or a jury house.

How dare you play this game! Time to make you all pay for it!

They're gonna have some serious funk on 'em, aren't they?

Oh, and asking for a margarita party when you know you don't have cups? Stupid Hampsters. That's the problem when you get a bunch of young 'uns in one place like that. Offer 'em free booze and the brains just turn off.

Sure enough, the Isolation Booths Of Doom are back, and they're double-occupancy.

This is basically name your own punishment: everyone decides what they can't have, then try to guess what the majority picked. Best of six.

The hamsters choose:

No hot water for three days.
Being stuck in bathing suits for a good long while.
No drinking cups.
Margarita party (without cups, over getting an outdoor grill for the whole summer)
The women have to make dinner.
And rather than give up their precious working equipment, they lose the washing machine for two weeks.

At the end of all this, James & Chelsia win HoH.

Hopefully someone here has heard of hand-washing, or it's going to be a really, really long two weeks. (Aren't you glad we don't have Smellovision?)

I think it's women in bathing suits for only 1 day, they make dinner all week, and the washing machine is gone for two weeks.

"RE: Reign of idiots."
Posted by Estee on 02-20-08 at 09:08 PM
Fixed the washer. The rest is subject to how much of a laugh the producers think they can get out of it. 'That's one day in bathing suits -- so now we're going to let you change. Here's six slightly-used red unitards.'

And as we go to the credits, we listen to Chelsia talking about how she won because she didn't understand how the competition worked and may not have realized they'd actually be giving up stuff: it would just be what they'd rather go without, not really go without.

A strategic force.

And the Chenbot running the Exposition 201 program meant nothing, of course. Nothing at all...

Jen really thought she would be the one staying to Bad Allison is macin' on your boyfriend chick, and you so totally did call him a racist.. I love that.. he is right that is something that would affect him on the outside I wonder what he will do when he actually sees the tape?

Ithink for sure that he is going to screw around with Allison.. 2.5months is a long time to be sharing a bed with someone who is obviously interested in you and not do anything about it.

Anyone else think Alex is a nutter where Amanda is concerned acting like her boyfriend and a bad one at that.. saying she is walking around like a whore and how does that amke him feel.. whoa back off stalker
