I strongly resent these accusations of breach of my contract!

This is the Official Preview, not a security leak. It will be posted on the official site, just as Shakes' preview for Episode 2 was posted.

The title of the Episode is "Spoiled Again!" just as CBS liked to name the episodes in their official previews. I personally am not spoiling this preview, because (duh) I wrote it.

My post calls on the spoiler community to rise to the challenge in its usual fashion, whether interpreting the preview text, posting VidCaps (sorry, beyond capability of self), leaks from spies, whatever. And to get on it, because air date's not far off.

Lastly, only the author can write an "official" preview, whether or not they are doing double-duty as a contestant. I'm sure you can figure out the reason for that--think "credibility."

Ice Cat requests that each episode-writer release an official preview prior to publication for spoiling purposes.

There, I hope my reply sounded amply pompous, defensive and officious.

Perhaps once you've chilled for awhile (I know it's hot there) you'll follow Dangerkitty and Rhino's example and sleuth a little?

For those of you who weren't on the spoilers board, here's an example of a spoilers thread that started with the Web site teasers about the upcoming episode (from E13 -- I picked this one because it's not one of the graphics-intensive ones):

Hmm, "fur flying" indicates a kitty is involved -- could be danger lurking! And the "new guy" ... both of these spoilers seem to implicate activity within the AA tribe. Could this be classic misdirection about the boot?

Oh my, reading that thread sure brought some memories. Some of these should be required reading prior to spoiling Survivor 3, just to humble ourselves. How could so many smart people work so hard and be so far wrong? Well, the editing of Tina to avoid all reference to her allying with Colby certainly did us in there. At least we got the mirror, even if completely wrong that it came from a challenge, wrong that anyone shaved, wrong about the rock climbing pic.

But you called the RC/IC and Ice Cat called Paired Off. And I argued hard on some other thread that the "greatest gift" was a family member, not a celebrity.

You know, that was a really duplicitous preview, because the betrayal thing didn't even happen that episode. The preview said "could" not "would." You see, you have to check every word with these things.

Not to have a spoilers discussion here, but since you read the thread...

my comment about "trust" was directed to Krautboy to show the futility of trying to use that snippet from the preview as the basis for a prediction, especially a prediction about Tina betraying Colby. I knew Krautboy didn't buy my vision of a Colby-Tina final two, but I was still trying to find some way to convince him that Colby didn't go next. (I failed.)
