"Big Brother #8 Episode #22 East Coast Spoiler Thread"

Please keep all discussion of the total insanity that makes up tonight's episode on this thread until midnight EDT, by which point the West Coast will have realized that despite having had a couple of days of prep time, we still have absolutely no idea how to deal with this. And no sigpics, please. We don't want any sort of personal possessions on the thread tonight. There's no point in taking that kind of chance.

Shark? In tank. Motorcycle? Loaded. Rider? Loaded. Jump? Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth...

We've got portions of three states blacked out tonight for other programming -- so for the sake of those who won't be able to catch this disaster until two in the morning, try to go descriptive, verbose, and segcap until your fingers are sore and your throat starts rasping. Remember, we suffer so others don't have to.

Maybe that came out wrong.

*snort*

I will be here and try to detail what, if any, semi-coherent story they attempt to concoct from all the tape from this week.

what is wrong with my SeeBS affiliate, again we are not blacked out for sports, did they lose their contract or something? I mean I'm almost always among those who have to hope the DVR catches it a 2:14 am or whatever obnoxious time they decide to broadcast the shows they don't want to show because they want to be an all sports all the time station.

I hate this !!!!! Why don't they run the football at 1:00 am.
I hurried home to see the show even though it is 99 cent Margaritas night at El Mexacal.

To top it off I am half way through a Jason't deli sandwich that they forgot to put the chesse on.

Where is the Justice???????

Julie then repeats the recap for anyone who didn't get it the first time around.

Says Amber and Dani will go to play the new game show Power of 10.

Julie is in a fairly tasteful black halter.

But first where there is smoking there is fire. EGAD!

Recapping the nomination of Jen since other people in the house actually need the money unlike you.

Jen realizes she is not close to Danielle.
Jameka is pleased with the replacement nomination.
Jen tells Danielle she wouldn't have done that to her.
Danielle says in DR that Jen is just too big a risk to keep in the house.

Jen on the treadmill. ED comes in and says how everyone is upset that you don't care about the money. ED tells Jen she should concentrate on staying and not being bitter.

Jen goes up to the HOH and asks what in the world. Dani tells her you are a big competitor and you want my Dad out of the house which won't help me. Dani says it isn't personal and Jen says it is fine while her eyes roll out the back of her head.

Jen says she always has a good time even when she is crying.

Amber and Danielle, please go to the Diary Room.

Jen saying she can't go to the sequester house, if you don't go you give up your vote. Jameka upset about Jen being so uncaring about the game.

ED calls his smoke Jen repellent. Jen gathers stuff in a bag and hides it. ED asks if she is moving out, she says might as well pack now.

They say as long as she is taking the nomination well, and she is cooking. They want to know why she is cooking, she asks what if I do eat. Jameka tells her not to be crazy.

ED says do whatever you want. Then she wants attention same as always.

She gets the bleach then gets looks like 4 cartons of cigarettes. She has been wanting to do it since day one. She hid her stuff before she destroyed the cigarettes. ED thinks maybe he should put the cigs up in the HOH.

And he looks and they are gone. He asks Jen where she put his cigarettes. He said he made a deal he would not be mean and then she grabs the cigarettes. ED tells her to go have a turkey burger.

ED goes looking for the cigarettes and found her cloths all bundled up to hold as random. Jess tells Jen if her stuff was in trash bags ED took them all up to the HOH. ED says he has dated girls like this before.

ED looking for the cigs and asking Jen why she is still here. and she can walk out in her smelly rags.

They notice she has food and she is eating.

They are all telling her not to eat. Jessica says with messy hair no one wants to be around a cheater in the DR.

Everyone having a comment about Jen eating.

JEN PLEASE GO TO THE DIARY ROOM.

Jen says she is on food restriction and BB gave her a penalty vote for the eviction

ED comes outside to smoke and tells her to go cry somewhere else and she goes after the cigarette because he smoked in her face. Try to grab it and you will get burned again. Jen says she didn't do anything. Jameka gets her back in the house.

Coming up we ride along with Amber and Danielle to the Power of 10.

After that the live vote.

There's a lot that wasn't shown here. After tonight's episode concludes, you may want to check out the past week's Live Feeds thread for something approaching a full story. Jen is getting a vey strange edit -- half-instigator, half-victim. It's very piecemeal, extremely scattered, and it's not working very well...

"RE: Invisible events."
Posted by Snidget on 08-23-07 at 08:02 PM
I figured it would be pretty incoherent.

"RE: Invisible events."
Posted by Estee on 08-23-07 at 08:06 PM
Leaving out Jen's central motivation, the actual destruction of the ciggies, their replacement, the full clothing bit, the multiple penalties that eventually turned into a single extra vote... yeah, we had major details struck. But the biggest hole in this story is the first one: Jen started this on purpose as a way of getting thrown out of Sequesterville. It's not as if they're going to show anyone reviewing the rulebook on camera because the producers don't want us to know anything about the rulebook, but...

She and Dick both came out looking like five-year-olds in this deal. "I know you are but what am I?" "No, you" "You suck" "No, you" "You suck" "No, you, you, you"

"The countdown of Jen"
Posted by vince3 on 08-23-07 at 08:04 PM
Jen gets put up on the block at the POV meeting
Dick reiterates that Daniele's stament about Jen being too tough a competitor is the truth
Jen hides her clothes
Jen cooks up some turkey burgers
Jen destroys four cartons of Dick's cigs (Marlboro brand blurred out...)
Dick goes looking for the cigs and finds the hidden clothes
Jen goes into the backyard and eats a turkey burger, cottage cheese and an apple.
BB calls Jen into the DR. Jen mentions she's got a penalty vote against her (no mention of the penalty nom and the possible screwing of both Jameka and Amber by it...)
After getting the penalty nom vote, Jen comes back out to the BY, Dick blows smoke in her face. Jen attempts to take the lit ciggarette out of Dick's hand and gets burned numerous times in the process.

Julie: 'Jen, why would you become the first person in eight seasons to break the rules?'

Jen: 'There are rules that apply to me?'

And it was kind of pointless to blur out the brand name on the ciggies -- the box is too distinctive to miss.

This week Amber and Dani get a trip outside the house and a chance at 10 million dollars.

Telling them in the DR what they will be doing on their trip. It is lame cross promotion time.

They are taken by limo to a private jet to go to NY. They get nice food and champagne.

Scenic views of NY.
They are in the green room and they get the game explained to them. Head to head and then 5 questions. They have a support person but they find out who it is.

Nick her for Dani and Amber's cousin her for her.

They are in hair and makeup. Amber says she has an upbeat personality?!?!?!? The power of editing?!?!?!??!

Drew welcoming in Amber and Dani...and we will see the rest of that on Tuesday.

Live to the living room to check in with the Houseguests.

Welcome back, after a day of freedom you are back in confinement. What did it mean.

Amber says she could get clear and get back in the game and appreciates life more.

Dani says it was a well needed sanity break and appreciated.

Jen you are the first person to break the food restriction and get a penalty vote, how does it feel to make history.

She was upset and didn't know what to do so she ate.

Eric you have some explaining to do. You lose a bet and show a certain side of you. Eric in various outfits. Do you do this outside of the house. He says this is him live and in color.

In a few minutes the houseguests vote live.

Amber is clear and Daniele is sane. It's the night of no-credibility statements on BB#8.

Anyone else find it interesting that Nick was there for Dani, not her boyfriend who she {dani valley girl voice} loves sooooooooooooooooooooo much?

They are in hair and makeup. Amber says she has an upbeat personality?!?!?!? The power of editing?!?!?!??!

She told the makeup artist that she knows she is very popular. Wait until Amber gets home and finds out just exactly how "popular" she is and what exactly America thinks of her. Amber is either delusional or stupid. Or a deadly combination of both. *rolls eyes*

Nope -- but it's been a wild week. They didn't want to dump their precious P10 no-point promo footage and the Jensanity took up the rest of the first half, so Dustin gets left on the back burner for a while. We'll probably hear from him next week. I'm anticipating something along the lines of 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'

"4th Act"
Posted by Snidget on 08-23-07 at 08:16 PM
Live to the HOH room.

Dani a week ago you were on the block who do you credit with your salvation.

ED getting the veto and Eric and Jessica saved us.

Will there be a point where you turn on your Dad.

I hope it is the two of us to the end and well Dad is a perfect F2 partner.

I hope I win. (didn't really answer if she would turn on him to win).

Back the the Living room with the HG. Plead your case.

Jen: I've always been a happy positive person so I don't fit in here. I got thrown this opportunity and I was happy to come here and I am happy to leave.

Jam: I am grateful to be here, happy and honored. You know how I play this game and I hope that you will see benefits in that and will keep be around to be your b!tch in the game.

Jen has a penalty vote to start with.

Amber first. Vote to evict Jen.
ED next. Votes to evict Jen.
Eric/America Next. Vote to evict Jen.

Jen has four votes so is out.

Zach votes to evict Jen.
Jessica votes to evict Jen.

It is 5-0 so 6-0 with the penalty and we will give her the bad news after the break.

"RE: 4th Act"
Posted by nailbone on 08-23-07 at 10:24 PM

Interesting that they were so up front about Eric and Jessica as a team/couple.

"Defend yourselves -- and the votes."
Posted by Estee on 08-23-07 at 08:17 PM
Jameka: 'God wants me to be here.'

Jen: 'Cuckoo! Cuckoo!'

Votes...

Amber: Jen (no surprise)
Dick: Jen (even less of a surprise -- oh, he's so happy...)
Eric: Jen (America's vote -- and an actual late reveal. But that's 4-0 with the penalty vote, so Jen's out)
Zach: Jen (why not?)
Jessica: Jen (as CBS does what FOX couldn't)

Jen gets the news after the commercial break, presumably so the sedative snipers can use the time to get into position. Personally, I'd just have her seat wired for instant shock therapy.

"Hamster commentary."
Posted by Estee on 08-23-07 at 08:22 PM
Eric (to Jen's face): 'Jen, as happy as you are to be leaving, we're even happier to see you go.'

Dick (after returning to the living room -- he presumably didn't want to take any chance on having to speak to Jen): 'Easiest vote ever!'

And now Julie tries to make Jen look sane. And coherent. If there's ever been more of a textbook case for the stupid failing to lead the stupid...

"5th Act"

Time to reveal the votes. The evicted houseguests has a minute to get out.

6-0 Jen you are evicted.

Amber gives her a hug, so does Jameka and Zack. Jen says thanks for having my bakc. We are happier to see you go.

In the house they are saying what a ##### and she looks better in black and white and the easiest vote ever. That was the rudest most obnoxious speech. ED making fun of her speech.

Jen you are one of the most compelling house guests. Recounts the random events and Jen replies she is random and usually positive.

What was your strategy?

I was just here to experience and learn and hopefully teach other good things and I knew I'd have to go out the back door.

ED said some mean things was that strategy?

It was not appropriate or true and don't know where he came up with most of the things he said. Whatever it is it is not going to work.

Goodbye messages.

Jameka I thought you were self centered and obnoxious, but I found out your intentions were good.

Eric you are fun, unique and interesting at times we've been good.

ED. Long overdue, but your competetiveness or insanity kept you here, hope it was fun for you.

Jessica, sorry you had to leave like this and you are good at the game and that is why you were backdoored.

Zack a good competitor and a great chess player.

Dani, it svcks the way you are leaving I am sorry for putting you up.

Amber, you are not as bad as I thought you were and I do not mean that in a bad way. Show off your beauty to the world.

You are off to the jury house.

OK (the sedatives must have kicked in).

She will help in the HOH competition.

"Goodbye messages."
Posted by Estee on 08-23-07 at 08:25 PM
Jameka: 'The first week, I thought you were self-centered and stupid. My, was I ever right.'

Eric: 'You scare me.'

Dick: 'Can I actually svck up for your vote? I'm sure going to try!'

Jessica: 'Now I'm the pretty one!'

Zach: 'Do you know even know who I am?'

Daniele: 'No fair, Dad! I wanted to svck up for her vote!'

Amber: 'I think you're a good person. Then again, I think I'm a good person, so I'm really not the best possible judge here.'

Jen will be on CBS tomorrow. Gawd help us all.

But before that happens, Jen will help determine the next HoH. So gawd ain't helpin' any of them.

Jen is gone and we won't have her to be Dippys whipping girl anymore. Maybe he will shut up and try and show some qualities worthwhile of a grown man.
Please Amber..(I cannot believe I am saying this...)..please win HOH cause if any of the others win it will be so boring and cut and dried....snnnnnoze.
Maybe Zach would do something intresting..like put up the Smugatos

Jessica wins HoH for the second time, Dick jumps in the water tank again just for the fun of it -- and Jen stands motionless at her button stand, looking like an android that's just had its power switched off. Just very slightly disturbing.

HOH competition.

HOH the power up for grabs. Jameka and Dani are out, this is week 3 for Jameka.

They are atop 350 gallon tanks. They asked questions of the evicted houseguests. Jen gets to push the button to send you into the ice cold water.

Jen is ready.

Who did Joe say needed a slop diet
A. Zack
B. Jameka

All got Zack right.

Who did Carol say would do worst on a spelling bee
A. Jess
B. Amber

Eric you are incorrect. She says A the rest are correct.

Between Jameka and ED who would Kail give her bible to
A Jam
B ED

All say A and all incorrect.

Who did Nick say he least wanted to see streaking
A Eric
B Zach.

Two A's to Bes.

Jessica and ED correct

Amber in the drink
Zach in the drink.

What movie was their BB experience like,
Kail Animal House
Nick Love Actually

Who said Meet the Fockers
A Mike
B Joe.

One of each so this will do it.

ED is out and Jen loved dunking him.

Jessica is HOH.

The blonds are ruling it!

ED takes a dunk in Jessica's tank.

And off to break.

Next eviction on Thursday.

Any predictions anyone?
Will Jess. Eric, Dani and Dip hide out in HOH all week and make fun of Amber and Jammy?
Will Zach FINALLY REALIZE he better get busy with an alliance with Jammy and Amber or somebody cause he is dead dyufus walking in three weeks?
Will the Final 4 alliance stand up...?

"RE: NOM predictions?"
Posted by flipxcyd on 08-23-07 at 08:55 PM
Eric and Jess could flip again and align with Jameka & Amber OR they could keep that alliance with ED and Danielle. Either way, Zach is screwed. Zach needs to choose, and choose NOW.

"RE: NOM predictions?"
Posted by Undertow12345 on 08-23-07 at 09:10 PM
I agree.
The SMUGATO family is so disliked that I bet everyone wants to take one of them to the F2..if they can stand being around them that long.
So..time for Zach to be the bigtime player he says he is....bring in the pathetic girls and convince Eric and Jess that they are never going to break up the Daddy daughter thing. One of the two big Alliances (Jess/Eric) or (Dip/Dani) need to be broken and its not the former this week so they had better get smart...put up DD and get moving with winning.

Am I mistaken or is this final 4 alliance once sided? I know ED swore he would not put up Jess/Eric but he did that to save his butt. Did Ericess ever say the same? They had no reason to since heshe was in no danger. Ericess has to be carefull taking these 2 because although they are the ones you want to be sitting next to, Dani is also the best player in the house who could end up sending them both home so she can sit next to her daddy at the end (not because she loooooooves him, but because he is the best shot at winning - if he was well liked she would send him home in a heartbeat).

OFF TOPIC:

I already hate the fat kid on kidNation. "I miss my brother because he's in a wheelchair". WHAT?!! He wouldn't miss him if he wasn't. Already this kid is a little manipulator. Just had to get it off my chest. Now everyone crowd around and give me a hug.

I really liked what she said to Jen in her goodbye message...Something about Jen being a beautiful girl on the outside but she needs to work on her inside a bit more so she doesnt come across as so self centered and scare people off. Something like that...and Amber did not blubber while getting it out. Way to go, girl!

That was camouflage for the Bat Cave in her head. Her arch-enemy is..... well, 'THE COOTER CARD'..

The Cooter card, who's fiendish plot is to screw up the Chen-bot, make her 'accidentally' give the answers to questions prematurely, misidentify hamsters, and generally play havoc with the continuity of the show.

Bats to the rescue.

lmao! As soon as I saw her last night, I said to myself "It looks like there's a bird's nest where her hair should be".

The Cooter Card is working very well so far!

Also, am I the only one who saw Jen's eyes go wide and kind of crazy when Julie said we'd see Jen in the sequester house? I wonder if she's made good on her threat to go home.

Then, it's the Jury/Sequester House......... If we ever get footage from there, that is........

The Slug: Why did you decide to eat when you were supposed to be on slop?

Jen Johnson: What had happened is that before I got on the show, I didn't like smoking. And I , "If there's smokers in the house, I'm gonna throw all their cigarettes in the pool." And Big Brother was like, "Yeah, whatever, that's fine." About two weeks ago, I destroyed his cigarettes, but I only destroyed three packets of cigarettes because that's all I could find. He was like, "Ha. Ha. I hid the rest of 'em." Two or three days ago, I found the rest of the cigarettes, so I hid all my stuff. I put them in a trash bin, and then I got yelled at. They were like, "Now we have to replace them." And I was like, "But you said I could do that." And they were like, "But you can't." So I was just really upset that I had wasted all my time and energy to p/ss D/ck off for no reason, so I was really, really upset that I wasn't allowed to destroy his cigarettes when I was told I was going to be able to. I didn't know what to do. I was upset with Big Brother so I just ate to get back at them.

......

I obviously know that my vote will not be going to D/ck, no matter who's against him, just based on the fact that he should've been kicked off the show for his violent intimidation.

Who else thinks the reason why Jen doesn't want to go to the sequester house is because there may not be enough mirrors there for her to preen in?

She will go.. I don't think that she would back out although i didn't think she would go against food restriction either. I thought that was brutal I thought that was the worst thing for all the others who had to survive because you think you are going you are going to break the rules and seriously secure votes against you.. That has to be one of the worst things I have ever seen in big brother history, and shamefully I have watched every season.
