Please keep all sigpic-free discussion of the incredibly spoilered nature of both of the POV winner and any actions s/he might take with the Blingie on this thread until midnight EDT, by which time the West Coast will have seen what we all knew was coming anyway. Oh, and just in case you haven't seen what that is, here's a sneak preview: Amber will cry, Dick will rant, Jameka will pray, Eric will be screwed over by America, Zach will skeeve someone out, Jen will fail to answer the Clue Phone, Jessica will break six microphones just by speaking, Dustin will hold his nose, and Danielle will decide none of it could possibly be her fault.

Again.

It's only Episode #18 and we're already into reruns.

For the POV comp, the players play croquet and drink concoctions.

Among them are... Big Brother blood.

I hope they screened that.

How many shots they took.

Zach 3 shots. Croquet total to 6
Jameka 4 shots. Croquet total to 10
Jessica 5 shots. Croquet total to 17
Danielle 7 shots. Croquet total to 20
Dustin 10 shots. Croquet total to 32
Dick 10 shots. Croquet total to 33

give you the same number of shots - in croquet, with each shot earning one point per wicket it goes through.

They could have made those alcohol drinks for a handicap, but I doubt even that would faze ED.

Both Dustin and ED quaffed all 10 drinks, so both get 10 shots.

Dustin scores 32.
ED is sitting at 28, needs all four wickets to tie, hit the pole to win.

ED at the tee...

(SILENCE placard goes up.)

And ED shoots...

(and the ball goes forever, sometimes going back in time and goes forward again... and again...)

AND IT HITS THE POLE! Hole in one!

ED wins.

ED jabbers on way too long about having the POV.

The others are sick of listening to it and in ones and twos go upstairs. ED complains about them leaving him.

After everyone's upstairs, ED raises his hands and shouts, "Rock on!"

They eventually might - without him.

Jamaica and Danielle get into a verbal match while all the others (except ED alone, probably downstairs) watch silently.

And minutes later, they're still at it.

Meanwhile, the impassive Jencorder is in record mode.

Eric's job is to get Dustin nominated. Eric talks with Dustin and Jessica. Dustin says he might do the 'dirty work' of being the other nominee, with the obvious proviso that they'd all vote to evict ED.

And soon after, Eric reads the AP task to give Jessica the silent treatment.

After the perfunctory speeches, ED gives Daniele POV. Jessica says she's aware of the options, and as planned, puts Dustin on the block.

ED laughs it off with a comment like "how many times have you seen pawns go home in this game"? No doubt, he'll be stirring things up until the vote while trying not to reduce (even increase, according to some plan) Daniele's chances of winning.

Yes, to think that Dustin volunteering for the block somehow indicates that Dustin and Eric are plotting with Dick shows how paranoia can affect someone's senses...If Jess had any to start with.

I think she knows, too, that her chances of winning this are probably a lot better with ED out of the house now. I'm not a bit surprised she went with it.

It kinda levels the playing field closer to her level.

I was trying to figure out Jessica's reasoning myself. How is it that Dustin volunteering to be a pawn reveal a secret alliance with D!ck? Being together on the block post-veto would be the stupidest move for two players who are secretly aligned. Not only did Jessica buy this idiotic theory, but she seemed truly mortified at the thought that Eric could be part of it as well. Where did the casting department find these geniuses? Geez!
