But maybe the message board will re-open?

I found this article and it states that the new board will open in the fall. TV time fall or our time fall? What do ya'll think? After all the board does not look fresh and lovely it looks unfinished to me. Anyway here is the link....

That entry is from last summer talking about the revamping of the official SO site. The one that sends us here when you click on message boards. I'm not holding my breath.

I wouldn't go anyway. I'm happy here where nobody can bash each other, and where you can keep all related posts under one thread with the handy indents and all.

Oh, this is a pretty cool place. The monitoring is even handed and I hope this post doesn't close the thread.

Maybe my monitor is too small and my computer too antiquated. I haven't been able to figure out how to make only unread messages come up and the indents, for me, are a disaster. Have to scroll laterally to 'try' to read the message. Oh well, only seven more night till Santa Claus takes to the sky!
