I wish Fox would reconsider and try this show one more time.
I thought the format was great, the game was tough, the challenges were interesting, and the drill instructors were a hoot.
Why do Temptation Island and The Mole get a second shot and Boot Camp doesn't? (Yeah...I know the ratings were bad.) It's was clearly the superior reality game show.
Maybe it's a question of why the t.v. viewing public has such poor taste because I would have thought this show would have done really well.

Oh Monkeyboy, I'm sorry you miss Balloon Boy... and that you miss Boot Camp. But let me try and answer some of your questions. Why does Temptation Island get another chance? Well, could it be because it's deliciously trashy TV? Which gave us great lines like "Am I going to hell?" and "I'm in heaven now". The Mole? Who knows why this show got a second chance! Cheer up!

I think the main reason Boot Camp won't be back is because it was so obviously SCRIPTED and FIXED that it would probably draw a lawsuit from someone next time.

Also, after the first episode or two when the D.I.s stop yelling so much, there really isn't much going on... except those of us who've seen this stuff for real start having flashbacks, as well as laughing at the cupcakes.

Well they didn't find enough opportunities to put the recruits in bikinis. That must be it.

Or it could be that half the show didn't make sense because they were so busy editing it so we wouldn't catch on to who would be booted. That we never understood why a person was kicked out.
