"Big Brother #8 Episode #2 East Coast Spoiler Thread."

Please keep all sigpic-free attempts to mock the intelligence of the hamsters (wait. what?) on this thread until midnight EDT, at which point two things can happen:

1. You can move said attempts to the usual places.

2. We may realize there wasn't much intelligence to mock.

This is not the most intrinsically intriguing cast we've ever seen, is it? It's not even the loudest cast, the most annoying cast (yet), the most overtly flirtatous cast, or the Cast Voted Most Likely To Throw Someone Out A Window (yet). So far, they seem to be -- breathing. And wondering about this whole Sleeping With The Enemy twist. Asking if it means having to share a bed. Asking if they can share a bed with someone who isn't an enemy --

-- actually, the beds may be the most interesting thing in the cage right now...

So. Any leftover mushrooms?

Can you mock the complete absence of intelligence, or personality, or talent?

You might want to pace yourself. We're only on the second episode and it's gonna be a really long season.

So what's the treatment when you sprain your sarcasm muscle?

*ouch*

Or is that just the pain from knowing I will never get that hour of my life back?

Can Danielle offically defenstrate Evil Dicque?

Can Kail practice what someone else preaches?

Can Joe possibly get any louder?

Can Nick feel the wishes of a million viewers commanding him to cut off his bangs?

Can Julie remember who any of the above are? -- wait. Sorry. That's Thursday's storyline.

Well after seeing that interaction I almost feel more sorry for him than for her.

"RE: Evil D and Danielle"

And the first thing she says to him is effectively 'By the way, I've been lying to the others, so here's a piece of blackmail information you might be able to use. Don't ruin it for me.'

Yeah, I'm not as anti-Dick as I was at first. He seems more genuine and caring than I thought he was going to be.

Can Joe be a bigger victim.

Oh and he went to the Larissa school of morality that nothing he does to get back at you could ever be wrong.

Whatever they're names are, at least followed the script that they were so stupid to have this fight compared to the others.

*yawn*

"RE: Kail's HOH room"
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 08:00 PM
It's a weird look for the room overall, though -- it made me think of a low-budget live action kids show trying to create a nerve center for the secret conspiracy of the week.

"Hamster Pictures"

Jen bawling her eyes out because she has a "horrible" picture.

She wants to make BB change it.

"RE: Hamster Pictures"
Posted by Snidget on 07-08-07 at 07:58 PM
Oh.My.Heck.

That picture looked fine to me. I kept waiting for her in the diary room to go *psych* and start laughing as her sobbing seemed so fake.

But then she never did. She actually seems to be that upset, and that seems to be the way she is when she is upset.

save me, someone please save me!!!!!

"RE: Hamster Pictures"
Posted by arkiegrl on 07-08-07 at 07:59 PM
I cannot believe she is carrying on like that over a picture! Girl needs to get over herself, quickly.

"RE: Hamster Pictures"
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 08:01 PM
She's not going to take the real mind games well, is she? Even if you're basically here to audition for more modeling work, that's so far over the top, it's achieved stable orbit. And it's running out of oxygen.

"RE: Hamster Pictures"
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 07:59 PM
Dear Jen,

If you think that was bad, just wait until you saw how you looked in the Diary Room.

P.S. Joe wants his Drama Queen sash back.

"RE: Hamster Pictures"
Posted by AugustGirl on 07-08-07 at 08:00 PM
I honestly, truly thought she was kidding and after her tearful DR she would break into a grin, saying "gotcha". Because, well, it was so FREAKIN' over the top idiotic. Crying over her picture?????

Sadly, she was dead on serious.

Jen is a loon.

Once I realized she was seriously crying over how "bad" her picture looked......I honestly had to laugh out loud knowing I was covering this episode's summary.

The stuff they give us to write about....you just couldn't make this stuff up! It's hysterical! (in a sad, pathetic way of course.) Same as me being addicted to Big Brother I suppose...

We are only on Day 2 BBTime (Whenever that was....)

The drama of the picture seems to be appropriate, since Jen was part of the Frienemies, isn't she?

I like Eric's confessional about Jen's drama: If she's this bent out of shape by a bad picture, what will losing an alliance mate, or betrayal gonna bring?

Yes, it was Carol and the Paris Hilton-clone.

SERIOUSLY WTF is up with the whole picture thing. someone should tellher she doens't look that much better in person. I laughed out loud when she started going on and then the damn Diary room sob fest same thing. I at first thought she was joking. I am serious they need to get her off .

WOW I am still shocked

I think it is oatmeal with protein powder in it.

It is supposed to be nutritionally complete so there is probably some vitamins added to it.

I think they only get water. Maybe coffee, but I think just water. You'd think I'd remember after having the live feeds last summer, but it's apparent I've permanently lost those traumatic memories. Or at least I hope I've permanently lost BB All Stars memories.

According to TVclubhouse Jen has several "jen..." shirts. Apparently the hamsters want to get her a "jenis" one.

Lame, but I do love the dramatic eyebrows.

"Nickname possibilities."
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 08:32 PM
Dicquelex?

Lexdicque?

Or how about Kali? 'I can't stand to have anyone mad at me! Good thing some of these people aren't anyone.' Nominating the challenge-weak is an excuse. It's not a bad excuse. But long-term, it'll backfire -- and does anyone really think those first two challenges were the best way to assess anyone's strengths?

"RE: Nickname possibilities."
Posted by HistoryDetective on 07-08-07 at 08:35 PM
Kail really seems to have trouble conjugating the verb "to be." It's hit-or-miss, but she seems to have subject-verb agreement about half the time.

Eric must pour his heart out to a hamster by making up and telling a very tender (and very fake) story. We get to choose the hamster. CBS.com has the voting for free. If you really want to text, I'd rewind the tape/DVR to confirm which is which, but I think they went alphabetically from (1) Amber to (13) Zach.........

'Evil, here is your key. Now in the spirit of fairness, let this nomination begin.'

So she's on a first-name basis with evil and she's invoking spirits. On top of the whole 'I need men!' thing.

Move along, move along, nothing to bash here...

was it me or did Nick say something on tonights show

"RE: Kali speaks."
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 08:45 PM
He said yes to Kali's alliance proposal. And then he had a ton of butter poured on him, followed by eating some slop and receiving a key. Nick's not getting a lot of camera time right now.

"RE: Kali speaks."
Posted by AugustGirl on 07-08-07 at 08:49 PM
Yes, he spoke. About 5 words. However his "what just happened" expression was the same throughout the entire show.

Perhaps if he kept all that hair from hanging all over his face we would be able to make out other expressions.

I agree with Dustin.

This is going to be a long drawn out summer.

Amber says she shouldn't be put up because both Kail and her are mommies and they should respect each other for that.

What.Ev.Er.

"Nominees."
Posted by Estee on 07-08-07 at 08:43 PM
Carol and Amber. Reason cited: weakest in the challenges, HoH awarded based on performance, so to be fair, nominations based on lack of same. Amber's hair is highly insulted.
