YES!!! I will be getting married on March 19, 2005. My mother is inviting people that I see once a year, on Christmas, to be in my wedding. I told her, "Mom, I don't want them to be in my wedding." Her response was, "They are going to pay for their own gowns, why not?" Argghhhhh!! BECAUSE!!!!!!!!!!! My co-workers and I were just talking about this. I'm starting to regret even asking her input. "MOM, I love you, but.....this is MY wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!" My fiance and I are at odds about the color of the wedding. He wants baby blue and I want lavender. He wants a cape and a top hat, I want a traditional wedding. He wants a spinning medallion and watch and I want stud earrings and perhaps a silver necklace. His sister's wedding is that following April and I just happened to choose her colors and her wedding coordinator. She was totally upset about that. I told her I didn't mean to, but.......She says that everyone is going to be too broke when her wedding date arrives. Oh, well........
