I'll light one tonight.

I've also put a reminder on my work calendar to observe a moment of silence at 8:46am. I had already planned to do so, but I was pleased to see a corporate request encouraging everyone in the company to do so.

Life is a game where we make up the rules as we go along.

Yes. We'll be lighting candles in our neighborhood again. Hopefully this time the kids next door will not set the lawn on fire.

I don't think I ever adequately expressed my gratitude to those of you who helped me navigate this bumpy road. You guys know who you are-the denizens of late night chat after everything happened and I couldn't sleep. I'll never forget the support I felt. You have my heartfelt thanks.
