She says, "one's a millionaire and one's a doctor, my f**ing boyfriend dumped me, so I need the money", and then says in the next breath... "I just want to appeal to your sense of logic", after making a completely illogical argument. Erika comes across as a complete idiot.

Also, Janelle saying how she doesn't trust Erika because she broke one promise... well, that shows she has no sense of logic, if she knows how to count how many promises to her the other two houseguests had broken.

And it's priceless in the middle that Mike tells them they don't have to hide their discussion and they can use HOH... he knows that their discussion will have NO impact on the game whatsoever, and is not worried about it.

God, watching these people for more than 20 second soundbites on the CBS show is so illuminating... it's so clear why Will is dominating with his ability to convince people, watching these two not be able to string together a coherent conversation/argument for 11 minutes. I'd love to face either of them in a final 2 jury situation.

Janelle says she doesn't trust Erika. Are you saying she SHOULD trust Erika because Erika broke fewer promises than Chilltown did? Not trusting Erika doesn't mean she does trust CT.

I meant in the context of the conversation in the clip, she repeatedly brought up that Erika had made some kind of deal with her weeks ago and broke it, to which Erika responded that she didn't understand what the deal was. Anyway, Janelle was rejecting any proposal that Erika made to her, saying she didn't trust her based on that one event weeks ago. Will and Mike got her to nominate her good friend under the guise that he'd be safe, then evicted him, then the next week evicted her alliance mate while telling her (and him) that he was safe. That's a bit more of a direct reason to distrust them, yet she still has gone with them since that time. Obviously, she's not dense enough to think either Mike or Will will take her to the final 2, but it was funny how adamantly she was shooting down Erika by saying she was untrustworthy and using that as a reason not to listen to her argument.

You're right in that it doesn't matter at this point who she trusts, she knows she has to win, but it's amazing that she can even have a conversation with Will after what he did directly to her, let alone consider herself allied with him.

It wasn't weeks ago, it was 3 days ago when CG got evicted. Erika was supposed to vote out Boogie, forcing a tie for Jani to send Boogie out. Erika proved to Jani that she would pick Boogie over her, no matter what.

Actually, that "one event" was just a few days ago. It happened thursday when Erika and Will voted out CG instead of it going to a tie for Jani to keep CG.

I watched the youtube video, and Erika was arguing that Janelle should take her because Janelle could more easily win against Erika in the F2 than Will, and that Erika was only fighting for second place at this point.

Janelle responded that Erika had broken her alliance with Janelle just last week, and that she didn't trust Erika to take Janelle to the F2 if Erika won HoH.

At this point, Janelle was trying to tell Erika that Janelle was concerned about winning HoH because to lose it would mean not getting to F2. She said she knew Erika would bring Boogie, regardless of what Erika is telling her now.

In the clip, Janelle is telling her, in her own way, that at this point it's no longer about trust. It's about strategy to get to the F2.

Erika doesn't either want to listen or doesn't understand. Instead, she keeps harping that Janelle should trust her, that logic dictates she take Erika, and that CT isn't trustworthy.

Janelle knows CT isn't trustworthy, and doesn't trust any of them. She merely knows Erika has a better shot at winning HoH this week than Will does. All she's trying to do right now is max her chances of winning HoH this week.

Janelle doesn't trust any of them, but knows she has to win HOH to make final to.
If I were her I'd take my chances with Will possibly throwing the comp, over battling Erika who will take Boogie to the final.

Erika's arguments are lame in the clip, she talks down to Janie , and never makes a good point for Janie to keep her.

oops! I didn't realize it was only 3 days ago, guess I wasn't paying much attention to the clip.

anyway, my original point was that after watching extended clips that aren't cut for television, it seems like Will is so much better than anyone else at putting together a coherent argument, which is why he is dominating the game. All the other players aren't making their points very coherently, or in a complex and subtle manner (case in point: this video with Erika constantly harping on the same points, when they haven't worked before). That's all I'm trying to say... I sense the hackles of the LOJ going up when I make the comment that she's not playing logically, but I'm really not trying to insult her, just saying that Will does it so much better than everybody else.

Will is a smooth talker, that is no doubt. I think, over and above all of Will's other great strategies, that his abilty to sway the jury with his final speech is his best weapon. He will put whoever he faces into the ground on finale night if he gets the opportunity to speak.

Face it Buggy, if Will makes final 2 his speech will be awesome. I'd love to see Boogie try to justify why he should beat Will in the end. Poor Jani would get clobbered. Erika would be a joke. It would be interesting to see if Will can sway the jury as he swayed them all in the game, or if they'll be so bitter that they won't give him the satisfaction of manipulating them one last time.

It'll be Good TV!

The thing about Will is that although he might be one of the best players, he won't be remembered that way. All most will remember about him is his arrogance and ability to lie well.

Skill in deception isn't something I'd ilke to be remembered for, personally.

Sure, there will be people defending him, but 10 years from now most people will mostly just remember him badly. If he'd lied and won, it might be a different story. He lied and lost though.

Remember Richard Hatch? He lied and won, and he's mostly remembered for lying, walking around naked against most people's wishes, and going to jail. If he'd lost, he'd have even less.
