I wanted to know - since we have a herd of Canadians here....anyone else watch (or have seen) the following shows?
I'm pretty sure this is all we have - If you know of any more add them =)

The Lofters - Soooo good, Better than BB (especially with the new voting process) - and the feeds are free 24/7 and uninhibited (Plus there's a Britney clone if the above doesn't interest you ;)

Drifters: The Water Wars

Quest for the Bay

Now let us never speak of S3 again.

Don't worry y'all, Gina and Bob will be back just in time for the final 3.

Yep, we watched The Drifters...

I thought the premise of the show was pretty cool, but the contestants were imbiciles for the most part.

My boyfriend (hey, now fiance!) was going to try and get on the show but if he had been accepted, auditions and filming would have been during our trip to Europe last summer so he gave it a miss...

Haven't watched much of Lofters, except when flipping channels, saw one girl working at a strip club, surprising...

<<My boyfriend (hey, now fiance!)>>

Congrats on your engagement, CG ^_~

I agree about Drifters....hopefully the next one will improve on the first and the casting process changes.

Other shows I've found (thanks to 712 on TAR board):

Tall Ship Chronicles - this one seems to be more international, though.

and

Pioneer Quest which I totally forgot about. What does that say about us when the History channel is one of the biggest reality show producers? lol

>>>Soooo good, Better than BB (especially with the new voting process)<<<

There's a new voting process on the Lofters? Or are you talking about BB?

I personally enjoyed the first season of the Lofters (but not that silly Love Shack thing they had) but this season really can't hold my interest. I thought the first group interacted with each other very well (or sometimes not so well, but that was fun to watch too) and this season was more boring in comparison.

P.S. Mandatory one smiley per post ->

It's actually just like BB1....the producers nominate 2 of the lofters for eviction and the audience votes for who they want to save.

Check the first eviction out here. (Danny vs. Annie ;)

And - I still like the show - it hasn't topped the first but it hasn't exactly gone down the tubes either. (And I believe that everyone always likes the first of ~anything~ better no matter how much the following versions change ;)

Another Canadian here.

The Lofters - sorry, this one is Lame-O with a capital Lame-O. I prefer BB.

Drifters - yes, I did get into it, although have to agree that the cast is kind of imbecilic. Also there is something about the guy doing voice-over - his voice is weird, like he's trying to sound hip & cool, but it's flat.

Pioneer Quest - this was great!

Quest for the Bay - we watched this too. Kind of depressing for some reason. Makes you wonder how anyone survived the times!

Tall Ship Chronicles - I think I was posting while the others watched.

Also on OLN, not strictly Canadian - Shipwrecked! - Do you watch!!?? I love this show!

1900 House - yes, the ol' History channel again, but it was a British show. Really interesting.

More Brit stuff:
Castaway 2000 - Scottish island for a year

Then there was another one about living in the Iron Age - anyone see that? It was really interesting.
