Things less capable of thought of any sort. Some people on a weather blog who are not meterologists but just play them on the internet. Honestly.They.Made.Howie.Look.Like.A.Genius. Yep, all the models, everyone at the NHC, NWS, TWC and every person that earned a Ph.D studying the weather are all wrong and Ernesto is going to do something extremely unpredictable and come to your house, personally, as a Cat 3 no less. Yes, hurricane's do weird things, but the models predict something weird will happen, sometimes they just don't know which weird (I like when the cone of probability is a bullseye around the storm....we think it is going to go somewhere, maybe?). Fortunately the good outweigh the bad there and lots of info from people where the storm really was, not where people were trying to wishcast it to.
