They're in the tropics where it never gets cold and things rot fast. So, why hasn't anyone inhaled deeply and realize it's time to bury the ones who weren't as lucky (or maybe unlucky) as the others. Hmm, they could feed them to the island monster.

And why didn't they cook up that monster that was shot? They could have kept its existence a secret by butchering it on the spot and calling it something else--like a big iguana or something.

Good points, SD!!

People seem to be kinda care-free there, a little too much.

I would have kept a few body parts around to throw in the other direction as bait, if an animal was chasing me. And wouldn't they want to keep the fusilodge to sleep in and for protection? I didn't see the other eps, so maybe its not a good idea.

and isn't it convenienct that Locke knows all about wild boars and there just happen to be some on the island?

They took care of the bodies last night, they have no shovels so burying them wouldn't work. They burnt them all in the fusel lodge. (have no idea if I spelled that right)
