Poor Randi... conflict of values caused a bit of a riff for her Catholic school teaching job

OUT OF WORK: Randi Coy, the dimwit bride-to-be at the center of Fox's My Big, Fat Obnoxious Fiancé, has lost her job as a Catholic school teacher in Phoenix, Ariz. Officials gave Coy until this week to decide whether to return to class or continue her association with the show through promotional appearances. The ultimatum came after parents complained to school officials that the show didn't go hand-in-hand with Catholic values. Ya think?

If she's enough of a DAW to do this show, she'll quit.

Oops....maybe she should have tried to hang onto 'Steve'. At least he has a job.

Unfortunately, Steve is already married.

He must have a VERY understanding wife.

Part of me thought that Steve had to be married. He is cute and has a lot of confidence, so I figured some woman had already snatched him up! I can't imagine being married to an actor who might be touching and kissing another woman. I'll bet Steve's wife doesn't expect him to be doing any love scenes!

I wonder how Steve's wife feels about the naked dance....

because in order to be labeled as big, fat, and obnoxious, you'd already have to be out of the runnings or spend the rest of your life single.

as for his wife, many actors have to watch their spouses in love scenes. this is different because one party isn't acting. however, the one party that isn't acting is utterly repulsed, and there's little more than a snowball's chance in hell that she would ever be attracted to him with the act he's putting on, so i'm sure the wife is fine.

Some women like their husbands to do the naked dance.

*puzzles*

Or is that just me? *grin*

*waves happily at CQ*

i think almost a lock that they gave her the $250,000 prise (just like they gave Matt the $100,000 prise is Joe Schmoe). So I am not going to fell sorry for her.

She probably has her eyes set on getting her own reality tv show,
"Who wants to Marry the Ex-Catholic School Teacher?"
Valley Girl
"But Dad, I only did it for the money, you don't have to be embarrassed....."

I thought Catholics had rock-solid morals/values - unbending and impermeable to the outside sinful world... wonder what happened to this one? And to go on Fox to boot, they are the raunchiest of the bunch.

If she's smart, she'll try to keep her job and say some hail Mary's. I hear that's all it takes to be forgiven these days. Maybe she's re-enacting The Da Vinci Code in her own special way.

Foolish girl.

I find your comments to be ignorant, small-minded and insulting.
