I am really starting to like Team USA, they made thier decision faster than Team Genuis and for the right reasons.

What is a person scare to sleep on the top bunk doing on this show?

I'm watching!

I agree, but Charles is a butthead! He made Sam climb when he knows he's going to have problems! They should've just followed the girls.

Yes, Charles is a big meanie.

Hi Seana!

Francis, on the other hand, was a great motivator!

Stuck on a rock face. Brother.

Ooops! I spoke too soon. Sam made it!

Now three teams are wandering in the woods while Air Force is already at their next destination and USA "accidently" looked into a hole in the wall and found the clue!

DD & I flipped when she took out a rock and put it back, giggling!

I also agree that they made the right choice about driving instead of climbing, as the Geniuses should have done.

Air Force gets to the inverted rose first, gets a map and gets $50,000! USA is not far behind and the other three teams are fighting for last place.

They have to fly to Paris and have to find their own destination.

""Wipe out the colour"?"
Posted by Seana on 07-31-06 at 09:15 PM
Is that a clue or just an ad?

"RE: "Wipe out the colour"?"
Posted by ARnutz on 07-31-06 at 09:18 PM
They must have to wipe the color off of the map, right?

Finally there was a task that separated the teams but still 3 are working together. Does anyone feel all the confessionals about accomplishments and conquering fears are the geniuses swan song?

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by ARnutz on 07-31-06 at 09:19 PM
I fear this may be the Geniuses last ep., but the CIAs are also saying alot of stuff about "last place".

I think the Southies were silly to share their discovery with the other teams. There are only 5 teams left and it did them absolutely no good whatsoever to consult the other teams when they were all searching the area *around* Peille castle.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by ARnutz on 07-31-06 at 09:28 PM
Guess they just wanted to feel like the smart ones for once.

"RE: New Thread"

Hee.

It's the second time (I think) that we've seen them say "Yeah, we figured it out! We can play with the big dogs." Or whatever. They don't give themselves enough credit.

Miss Usa are good at finding the clues without following the indications

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 07-31-06 at 09:33 PM
Not doing good with the map and water clue.

Finally! I'm happy that they laughed about it. They have a good sense of humour.

I actually like them.

I have missed half the show. My mother will not stop talking. Help!!!!!

Why did the 3 last teams get the call without finding the Statue of Liberty?

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by Seana on 07-31-06 at 09:37 PM
I'm guessing it's because the clue at the Statue of Liberty told them to wash their map, and they'd already done that.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by ARnutz on 07-31-06 at 09:38 PM
I think it was because they figured out the water changed the map while they were on the train. Guess they didn't need the clue posted at the Statue and only needed to get to the Eiffel Tower.

That's only 'cause I typed more words!

"RE: New Thread"

I'm just more succinct.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by michel on 07-31-06 at 09:39 PM
They were still supposed to locate the statue not be told about it.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by vennui on 07-31-06 at 09:39 PM
It doesn't seem fair that they didn't have to do the full activity. Why didn't they call them as soon as they washed off the maps on the train?

"RE: New Thread"

Guess it was the equivalent of a Fast Forward.

...sort of.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by michel on 07-31-06 at 09:47 PM
Fast Forwards shouldn't be given to 9 knuckleheads.

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by ARnutz on 07-31-06 at 09:51 PM
True, but... this isn't TAR.

As such, I think they make things up as they go along. i.e. nothing's "predetermined".

"RE: New Thread"
Posted by profesora_toro4 on 08-01-06 at 00:43 AM
Yeah I think that was pretty cheap too. They should have called them (well right after they got out of the metro since I doubt there was coverage underground) Did they all wash their maps on the metro or was it just the Southies that did?

"They had to complete that task..."
Posted by udg on 08-01-06 at 11:00 AM
They had a clue: "Go to this park in Paris." On the train, to the park, they happened to complete the task they were supposed to do in the park. That didn't mean they could skip the park, but since the task was complete, as soon as they got to the park, they got to move on to the next task.

One of the clue specifically said to go to the west side of the Eiffel Tower to spot a symbol of America. They never spotted it, instead they were told about it. The girls didn't spot it either but they figured it out and did go to it. The 3 teams should have beeen told cars were waiting at the American symbol that could be spotted from the observation deck. Not told about the Statue.
